National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center (NCVC) Hospital was established in 1977 to provide world-class, advanced quality of care to patients with cerebral and cardiovascular diseases as the second oldest national center. We have remained at the forefront of cerebral and cardiovascular medicine and surgery by fostering a culture of collaboration and education, pushing the boundaries of cutting-edge treatment with the Research Institute of the NCVC. We are committed to clinical practice, education, and research, providing expert, whole-person care to everyone who needs medical care. In 2019, we moved to KENTO in Suita city and restarted clinical and research activities in the new hospital. The clinical and research environment of the hospital improved significantly. Cutting-edge facilities of the new hospital facilitates advanced preventive medicine and less invasive and hybrid treatment through team-based approach in patients with complex and rare cerebral and cardiovascular diseases. Patients not only all over Japan, but from overseas seek advanced treatment in our hospital. NCVC hospital offers exceptional learning experiences for all health professionals, from student opportunities to specialized residencies to continue professional development. We have produced many professors in the field of cerebral and cardiovascular clinical medicine for universities in Japan and overseas. In response to the Cerebrovascular and Cardiovascular Disease Control Act of Japanese national law, enacted on December 1, 2019, we will contribute to improving patient care, implementation of better medical systems, promotion of clinical and translational research, and training of medical staff in cerebral and cardiovascular medicine from a nationwide perspective.

I went for a meeting. Since there was little information on the parking lot, I will write it. The entrance is easy to find as there is a sign along the street. There are underground and above-ground parking spaces, and visitors were directed to the underground. Not too crowded. In the case of a visitor, get a stamp on the parking ticket at the ward reception (where the nurses are waiting), then bring the parking ticket to the checkout counter on the 1st floor to receive a discount on the visitor fee. Even if I went by car, there was no particular inconvenience.

Three years ago, I had a blood vessel transplant and catheter surgery for coronary artery stenosis and angina pectoris here, and since then I've been going to the hospital regularly. It's a clean hospital, I feel comfortable, and it's conveniently located near JR Kishibe Station, which is helpful.
