Na Františku Hospital is the leading Czech workplace for the treatment of breast cancer with the largest number of breast surgeries performed in Prague. There is also a colorectal cancer screening center with an oncosurgical consultation room. The hospital provides continuous health care to patients with internal, surgical, orthopedic or gynecological problems and long-term patients. It also operates a number of specialist clinics and counseling services. Its orthopedic department with subsequent rehabilitation services is also sought after by top athletes for its quality of care. In 2016, the surgical department was rated as the best in the Czech Republic by Týden magazine. Due to its location, the hospital is also widely used by foreigners and tourists.The goal of all hospital employees is to provide the highest quality health care using the most modern medical procedures while maintaining the comfortable and confidential environment of a smaller hospital. Emphasis is placed on an individual approach to each patient and their treatment. The wishes and needs of patients are respected.Currently, the hospital has 172 beds, of which 113 are acute and 59 follow-up care beds. Approximately 5,500 patients are hospitalized annually, and another 80,000 are treated on an outpatient basis. The hospital employs around 480 people, operates two pharmacies and a medical supply store, and has its own catering department.
