Been here several times visiting friends who are hospitalized for different illnesses. The facility is nice, service is great, but system is not the best. You must pay or deposit huge amount before they do surgery or major treatment. Overall it’s a great hospital with perhaps an internal standard.

I've been to this hospital just recently for a medical check up for both my wife and me. This is a JCI (Joint Commission International) accredited hospital in Cambodia. For me myself, being treated at a hospital with JCI accredited hospital, give me a sense of peace of mind and safety because it means the management of how best handling and managing the hospitals and the patients related treatment is standardized; or at least meet the minimum standard requirements. Please correct me if I am wrong. I arrived at the hospital around 07:00a.m. in the morning. I drove my car and parked in the parking area in the backyard of the hospital. The driveway from the main entrance gate on the Russian Boulevard to the parking area was perfect, there are sufficient signages that give you very clear information about the direction within the hospital's area. The parking area was perfect too, hardened with concrete and each slot of car parking is clearly painted in yellow line. There are ample parking lot for cars as well as for motorcycles. It is provided free of charge for the visitors of the hospital. So, giving tip to the parking boy, amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic, is advisable. You can enter the hospital right from this parking area, in addition to the main entrance in the front side of the hospital. You will need to go to registration desk in the main lobby. If you are first time visitor, then you need to fill in a registration form completely, including information about your name, date of birth, citizenship, passport number, email, phone number, your next of kin to contact in case of emergency, etc. You'll given waistband featuring you name, birth date etc. The whole process of medical check-up for executive package took around 7 hours, including queues in some department that have many patients. The physician are good and detail, the medical equipments are also good and featuring advanced technology. Hospital staff, including nurse are good, helpful and attentive. For the executive medical check up, costs me $535 (for man) and $685 (for woman). I guess, Royal Phnom Penh Hospital is a good and reliable private hospital in Phnom Penh. It is recommendable for those who seek hospital treatment in enjoyable environment that is convenience, clean and neat. You may expect to pay higher rather than other hospitals in the city. But, you will get what you pay in the form of relatively higher standard of service that this hospital would offer for you. For sure, I will visit this hospital if I need health treatment in the future. But of course, I do not want to fall ill, so I don't want to visit either... Who wants?
