We unfortunately had a five night stay at the NICU over the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff provided excellent care to our kid and were extremely compassionate to us as parents. We were grateful for the private sleep rooms and shower, and they even had a free Thanksgiving dinner for everyone. The parent / family lounges have places to grab coffee and store food, and everything is very clean and organized. The doctors and nurses were very communicative and kept us in the loop the entire time.

Absolute terrible service , my child who has a seizure disorder and potential c- diff was made to wait in the ER for 3 and half hours plus without even being properly triaged . She didn’t receive a wrist band , at any point & we can run the cameras back , no one was alerted to her allergies , there was no band received for that as it typically is .. and she begin to have diarrhea thru the long wait due to the virus she’s had the past week and in turn she begin to get worked up and her fever returned . I asked how much longer the wait would be abd for an approximate timeline .. as I’ve observed plenty of patents come in after one in which I knew personally with less servere circumstances… literally come and go and my child was still suffering in the ER … the Nurse on duty was unaccomidating and almost seemingly unwilling to engage .. as I waited for some kind of answer on when my severely sick child would be seen . I asked if it would be more then another 30 mins and he said he couldn’t promise but shouldn’t be . Well it was . After 45 mins of them calling more then 3 patients who arrived after us .. I reluctantly decided it best to take my fevering , baby who now was covered in feces home.. as she was in her 3rd bowel movement and we had difficulty changing her in the nasty public restroom . I ultimately watched them call two more patients who had come after us exhibiting no signs of eminite health scares then I ordered our ride so I could take my child home to change her and give her medicine to help reduce fever and prevent seizure . I am pissed and very upset that my child and I spent. 3 plus hours we can’t get back in the ER after already being across the street at the Berger building for 3 hours prior this was wayy less then pleasant
This is the second poor experience in this particular Emergency Dept but this is the first time it was so horribly handled that I had to leave with not only an even sicker baby then I arrived with . She still now will have to go to another ER to be seen .. because she did infact have a seizure once we got home from her fever that arose& I informed them but that did nothing to medicate the situation or get her seen. Now my kid is home fevering still sick potentially has c-diff and I am skeptical to return her to this terrible hospital because they haven’t even returned my call. I called to speak with charge nurse after filing formal complaint and was told by Jennifer in WR I could not speak to any charge nurse and then she took my information and said a nurse on duty would call back and it’s been an hour with out a returned call. This is negligence and unprofessionalism tht promoted us to leave in the first place and CHOP is looking at a pretty decent lawsuit if we do go to another practice and something is severely wrong with my child with so much documented instances of me trying to get her helper seen and have a team leader consult about next steps. This place wasted my time , cash as it’s costed money I didn’t have to travel to and from and I felt like the poor treatment was racially motivated , as as kid who came in after us was pulled to the back cuz her mother told them she was seizing but I was looking at the child. Who literally just had woke out her sleep. This place is incompetent , and of all the amazing experiences we’ve had here . Today ultimately casted a shadow on them all and I will be contacting the PA board of insurance aswell to file a formal complaint because they need to do better on managing and transparency in the ER wait times. We got there at 12:15 and didn’t receive a text saying my child’s room was ready until 4:15 pm that’s 4 freaking hours for a child who had 2 seizures in past week, has a virus, and cold and caught fever while there … when she has a history of febrile seizures … 0/10 would not recommend. Shame on u all

Very friendly staff and amazing doctors. The information desk is very helpful. The front lobby is well designed and honestly fun to be in due to it's design: there is a meandering ramp that goes up several stories with interesting interactive stops on the way. The lobbies on each floor are also all well laid out: they have great views outside and inside were designed with children and comfort in mind. The plaza out front and the cafeteria/Cafe are both relaxing places to recharge.

My brother was in this hospital because he had appendicitis and had to get surgery and He said the nurse was nice! I think this place is really nice because it's clean and Its nice looking, I know that because I was there to visit him in the hospital. I also want to thank you for saving my Brother before more consequences happened to him and that he could've died.. but thank God this hospital was there! Once again, thank you for saving him🙏🤍 Also I definitely Recommend this place if you want nice doctors and want to feel less anxious and comfortable here.👍

I used to like this hospital, but every year it gets worse. The ambulance is very slow, you never know how long you will have to wait. Even when Covid was officially over, they still only allowed one parent into the waiting room, but two inside the room, what was the point. But this year they managed to upset me even more. I brought my son who had a leg injury, they did an x-ray and said that it was a severe bruise, despite the fact that the leg was blue and swollen. They gave him a hard boot and crutches (thank you for that). A week later, at a follow-up appointment with the therapist, a second x-ray showed that the leg was broken. Seriously? That is, they did not see the leg fracture in the first picture. How? How can you then trust them regarding other diagnoses? What if they missed something? But this is not the end of the story. The next step was to put a cast on my son’s leg. We were given a referral for an emergency visit to an orthopedist. I called to make an appointment and was told that they could see us in four weeks. To which I objected that after four weeks the leg cast is usually removed and that there was no point in this appointment. So think twice about whether you really want to go to this hospital.

This hospital isn't what it used to be! It seems to be loosing patient focus and fast. We've been a CHLA family for 11 years and I think it's time to switch. My autistic son was SCHEDULED for Dental Surgery. Originally it was supposed to be at 1pm and us be here at 11am. When we got the call from the nurse last night that we needed to be here at 530 AM we were like no one told us! But we got here right on time. We'll let me tell you that they took him upstairs to Surgery PreOp it took over 4 hours to get him into the the surgery room, because he needed to be admitted after surgery and no beds were available. This hospital needs to have better planning for these types of things OBVIOUSLY there will be emergencies that come in over night THAT SHOULD'VE ALREADY BEEN ACCOUNTED FOR!!! Maybe you need more staff and more beds!!! Because to have a child basically starving because you couldn't plan Accordingly is just plainly ridiculous! Then when I spoke to the Charge Nurse in the Surgery Dept she tells me that if my autistic son has an outburst that the anesthesiologist and nurse are there to help give him something to calm down. So basically if my son has an autistic outburst they will just drug him up. I'm like realistically drugging my son just to calm him down because your hospital didn't plan accordingly is uncalled for and unnecessary! Again I am seriously contemplating switching hospitals even though my son is on the Heart Transplant List!!! -A Frustrated Autistic Heart Mom

Have been passed around from test to test for 3 months trying to get clearance for surgery without any treatment for my condition. Seems like all they want to do is test and not treat problems. Impossible to contact doctors offices by phone. Ordered tests without telling me. Asked for referral to hand surgeon and they sent me to shoulder specialist. Asked for referral to ear doctor and they sent me to throat doctor. Did multiple tests on heart and all good but they are ordering more tests. Think they are more interested in generating revenue than healthcare

Went to their emergency room during the pandemic and it was a joke. They had adults in the pediatric emergency area, and their doctor didn't take my pain seriously, no testing was done aside from palpitation of the area. No blood tests, or imaging just urine analysis. Lately, they've also made their billing services fully remote, but no one picks up the phone. I recieved a letter stating that my insurance didn't pay for something in February and to call if I had any questions about the bill but it's been 2 weeks without any response. Online it shows no outstanding bills so it's really confusing.

My first bad experience, I have been admitted here several times and my stay had always been good, until today that I already have 6 days admitted with my son here we had a double room where the first nights I was touched by very decent and respectful people, the last two nights I have been touched by a couple with their son who leave the light on until late at night, they spend the day in phone calls and with a very inadequate tone of voice, the husband stays to sleep and has an awful snoring because those that are very difficult For me and my baby to have rest time! I talked to the manager who didn't do anything, I don't talk to people or take the delicacy to even see if she could move us to another room I don't care if it was with another person maybe they weren't as indecent as these which the sick people have told her that please if they can keep their composure and they don't even change! The truth is that I would have liked to have another person to help me and be more condescending with the situation, because I have seen empty rooms since last night even double, but according to the person I spoke they were not available! I'm still here and I can't take a break! As a hospital you need to put some rules like do not let man stay at least in double bedrooms, do not permit loudly noise in the room and for the residents on the rooms to keep respect to others and peaceful space appropriate for recovering!

Listen! I drive a long way to come here and it's worth every penny.
After comparing with multiple doctors near me they were the only people that I trusted at that price range for my Invisalign. The office is amazing and the staff is even better. If your brackets fall off they replace them for free. Everything in there is so high-tech and futuristic. Couldn't recommend them more!

The hygienist was great at cleaning my teeth. The dentist was great at explaining my procedure for Invisalign and the assistant to the dentist was very professional, nice, and help me feel comfortable. Overall great experience.

I didn’t think I could feel more ripped off than when I left a car dealership with a new, overpriced car, and yet somehow LA Dental Clinic has succeeded in topping that. My experience was bad enough that I feel compelled to warn future clients about the billing of this clinic.
I first came to LA Dental in 2020 after researching Invisalign providers, and I was excited to support a sister run business. The office is clean and modern, and I felt well taken care of throughout the Invisalign process, as well as my veneers at the end of the treatment. I did happen to catch an overcharge of $375 for my Invisalign, and I had to call the office multiple times to get this fixed (they told me a charge previously had “not gone through”) but it definitely got charged to my credit card and they gave me a refund sometime later. I should have run away then, but I chose to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Recently, I had a cleaning/x-rays done and a wisdom teeth extraction some days later. I noticed I was overcharged for the cleaning, and that it was noted on the invoice. I didn’t give it too much attention as I figured it would get solved, but the amount I was charged for the wisdom teeth extraction and what the staff were telling me raised a red flag. During the consultation, they gave me a lower figure and then once I received the quote it was higher, I spoke to them and they gave me some confusing explanation for the amount. After the procedure, I did some digging around with my insurance and flex plan, and I was told since the dental clinic had overcharged me they were the ones responsible for the refund, not my insurance.
After failing to reach a solution with Gloria from the staff, I had to resort to having a manager from my flex plan speak with her on the phone. Gloria lied and said I had asked to pay completely out of pocket (which some patients choose to do so it turns out cheaper but I never had that conversation with them). I chose to believe they were charging me the correct amount and I asked to pay online. They chose to overcharge me by $1235. Upon being pressed further by the manager from my flex plan on why they had charged me as a cash patient and then BILLED MY INSURANCE, they lied and said I had asked for the out of pocket quote and then had given them my insurance at the last minute. This makes no sense and is an outright lie because they already had my insurance on file and had filed a claim for the previous teeth cleaning and X-rays. Not to mention I have an email thread where they mention my insurance when trying to explain the projected costs. The manager from my flex plan finally got Diana from billing to admit that they owed me over 1000 dollars, and that they would refund me.
Would have been much less work for you guys to charge me honestly instead of trying to keep track of your lies! 🤡
I don’t understand how these people can live with themselves knowing they are blatantly ripping off and taking advantage of customers who are not closely paying attention to billing and don’t have anybody to advocate for them like I did.
I wasted so much time trying to figure all this out while trying to recover from the procedure. It is a shame that I will have to find a new dentist.

I'm terrified of any sort of work being done in my mouth and it's been longer then I'd like to admit since I'd seen a dentist but Dr. Cook and Ellie made me feel comfortable and confident in my choice to be there. Ellie is a huge reason I came back, she made me feel heard, not judged, she is so personable, kind, and sweet! At my first visit (11/02/23) it was concluded that I have to have a good amount of work done but Dr. Cook wanted to start with what was causing me issues first. My second appointment was today 11/09/23 and I had a root canal done and two cavities filled. Overall no complaints and all went as well as it could for dental work, the root canal was by far the easiest one I've ever had. Dr. Cook is a fantastic dentist. I'm excited to see my smile when all the work is done 😁😀

ALL THESE 5 star reviews are fake they offer to give you money off of products if you leave a 5 star review please do not listen they do not care about you at ALLLLLLL. absolutely worst three years of my life I was supposed to get my braces removed a year ago after paying seven THOUSAND dollars out of my own pocket. when I first started treatment there was a doctor who actually cared about his patients and would actually get work done on my teeth. this doctor left to open his own place which left them doctor less for months. he was then finally replaced by an extremely rude doctor who talks bad about the patients behind there backs and she was also gone for months. my teeth were finally closing the gaps because the first doctor had me on rubber bands but she told me to stop using them and stopped giving me them which resulted in my gaps opening back up and they haven’t been doing anything not cutting the wires when I ask not replacing the wire literally only changing my band colors and that’s all. so now that it’s the end of the year stupid doctor finally wants to care about my teeth and says I need six more months of treatment and to be put on bands again however I have to pay $600 more on top of my $7k which is all out of pocket. DO NOT COME HERE WORST DENTIST/ ORTHODONTIST EVERRRRR they do not care about your health. HOW IS IT MY FAULT THAT THERE WAS NO DOCTOR FOR MONTHS AND THEY HAD TO KEEP RESCHEDULING MY APPOINTMENTS AND NOW I HAVE TO PAY $600 MORE OUT OF POCKET please do yourself the favor and GO ANYWHERE ELSE I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD also they didn’t numb me properly when removing teeth that did not need to be removed then the nurse was very rude and yelling at me because I was in pain and crying. they are literally the worst place ever do not bring your children here do not go here yourself I promise you can find anywhere else will be better. also I went in for a broken bracket and they placed it on to be held up higher than the rest of my teeth and now my tooth will not go back down and I am at risk of chipping it please please please go anywhere else, IVE CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEY KEEP SAYING THEY WILL GIVE ME A CALL BACK THE NEXT DAY ONLY TO RECEIVE NO CALLS BACK IM READY TO JUST SUE BECAUSE THEYVE ONLY CAUSED PROBLEMS FOR ME

This place is a joke! I’ve had them for over a year due to braces (wish I would of read the reviews first) ortho called me to reschedule me due to the orthodontist being out 2 months straight! I kid you not! I called letting them know my wire was poking can I get it fixed (the orthodontist doesn’t place wires anyways) so I don’t see why an assistant couldn’t do it or I couldn’t go to another location to fix the wire! I had to wait a month to get a poking wire fixed! Anyways, today I had an appointment for the dental side that I’ve tried booking a few times but every time I schedule an appointment I get a call that I need to come early or another day! I try to schedule my appointments around my work schedule because I work just like they do! I explain each time I tried making an appointment the times & days I’m available do they have anything available those times! So I finally got one that fits my schedule today the scheduler told me arrive early to fill out paperwork on the phone! Lol so I arrived 10:30 check in for my 11 o clock appointment front desk tells me scan the QR code & sit down so I finish feeling out the information & wait mind you it wasn’t busy at all 4 patients in the lobby finally after an hour of waiting I got up and went to cancel my appointment the lady ask for my info I give it to her she says new patients I said no I’ve been in your system over a year she’s like I have nothing pulling up I give her my birthday she repeats the wrong birthday back I said no and state my birthday again! She says oh they had you understand the wrong birthday. Um ok that shows me they don’t pay attention to the check ins for at least over a year & they clearly don’t look at the insurance card or id they take a copy of on first visit lol anyways she says so you wanna reschedule your visit for when you have an ortho appointment I said oh no I just called a1 dental & they can see me she said oh we don’t transfer braces I said I wasn’t speaking of ortho I’m speaking in regards to general dental! She looked at me dumb founded! By the way none of the employees look professional or happy to be there everyone looked mad & no one was friendly ! I’ll never return to general & I’ll finish my braces off & never look back!

My appointment was at 11:30 and I was completed by 2. I waited an additional 30 minutes for my daughter. Everything was professional and clean. The waiting room was pleasant as well. Staff looked great. One problem though. I had abscess and didn't know what it was. I'm sure the orthodontist knew. No antibiotics were prescribed. After my tooth was filled, I still had pain to end all pain. I prayed and God gave me the solution. To leave me in this condition without care instructions or antibiotics, is just cruel.

Do not go here. I had to cancel my appointments because my grandmother passed away and I had to travel. Somehow that turned into a $300 bill. My suspicion is that they submitted it to my insurance company wrong problem is when there was an issue with the insurance, they took the money from a credit amount that was supposed to be for future work reallocated those funds without my permission never told me that there was an issue with my insurance and now, if I don’t pay them blood money, it’s going to ruin my credit in collections so if you value your health, finances and your time, find a better dentist

I don’t know how I feel at this moment. I know Plattsburgh Aspen is a million times better and they treat you like a human (stay away from Watertown). This is the second time my plate has broken, at no fault of my own. I figured since it keeps breaking in the same place they would have replaced it this time, especially since I purchased the extra warranty, but they did not. It does feel okay at the moment but the last time they fixed it, it felt right then too. Hopefully this lasts longer than 6 months. Cross your fingers for me! Other than this, Plattsburgh Aspen has been VERY good to me. I called yesterday and they had me in there this morning.

I went in for a braces consultation and everything was great! The ladies at the front desk were helpful with any questions I had at check in, and I was seen by the dental assistant Nijah, who explained the entire process to me from start to finish. Dr.V came in and went over things into further detail, making sure that any questions I did have, were answered. This office is amazing!

I had a wisdom tooth extraction that took two hours. I should’ve known that my tooth extraction was going to be painful due to the woman in the next room screaming when she was having her tooth pulled. To add insult to injury I asked for a stronger medication that ibuprofen and they said ibuprofen was all they prescribed. Mind you paying out of pocket it was $357 when I was originally told over the phone widow tooth extractions are $125. I would avoid this place and definitely wouldn’t recommend going. I’m still in tremendous pain. I have a home not only where the extraction was but also around the inside of my jaw there’s a huge hole that was halfway sewn up.

I gave 2 stars for the effort. The dental assistant was very kind, however the dentist/dr lacked patience and empathy. I took my 5 year old daughter there for a filling, which turned into a disaster. I am still saddened that my daughter had to experience what she went through. Also services seemed rushed. I paid $130 cash, for exam and cleaning and the hygienist was moving as fast as Speedy Gonzales. I won't be returning.

This review reflects my treatment experience at Massachusetts General Hospital--Northampton Massachusetts branch. (MGH now includes various branches across the state via purchase and merger.)
I had a rather serious emergency room visit and immediate admission to the hospital after a routine lab test showed a very serious and unexpected kidney malfunction. (Blood creatinine -- a toxin -- at 6.3 mg/dl. This is about 5 times normal. And is a very serious health condition, indicating kidney failure, and my GP's office told to get to an ER right away.)
Firstly, let me report that the nursing staff was very good. A bunch of nurses, and also some enthusiastic young nursing students, well equipped for their profession, with a real caringness.
Ditto, the physicians in the emergency room and hospital. I think many of them were residents and interns, and they did a good job.
Where the hospital really messed up, is that they rushed to get me out the door, and it sent me, who they knew lives alone, home while in a fainting-prone condition.
I was in the hospital for about 3 days, and on the first day actually fainted. I continually told the staff during my stay that I felt woozy, and prone to fainting if discharged.
The discharge coordinator had initially told me that if I were in the hospital for 3 days and it was unsafe to return me home, then a standard option with the Medicare I have would be to discharge me to a nursing home for a bit, so I didn't fall, etc.
During my stay, a physical therapist walked me down the hall, then up and down 5 stair steps two times. I informed him I felt dizzy after the first up and down trip, so he brought a chair, I sat on it, until I was able to walk up and down those 5 steps the second time.
Despite this, the physical therapist apparently wrote his report indicating I was not eligible to be transferred to a nursing home.
On discharge, I protested that I felt like I may faint at home. I also pointed out a special medical reason I might faint: to prevent further kidney damage, the hospital had withdrawn, and told me to not resume treatment with, a drug that had been given to me for the last 23 years to control fainting. (Unknown to me at the time, there was an additional medical reason for me to faint. The hospital at started me on, and told me to remain on, tamsulosin=flomax, a drug whose prescribing information has conspicous warnings about it causing fainting.)
The person making the decision, (a P.A. and not a physician) insisted he could not send me to a nursing home as the physical therapist had deemed me home-ready. So they sent me directly home on about the 3rd day.
Anyway, I got home. At day 2 home, I actually did faint. (No injury to me that I can detect. I bent up at least one plastic bottle that was on my bathroom floor, and urine spilled over the floor as I was emptying the urine bag, but there was no detected injury to me.)
Anyway, the Massachusetts General Hospital visiting nurse was here the same day I fainted, and really was uncomfortable that I was at home. As was the nurse-practitioner at my family practice. Further, the MGH visiting nurse on that day measured my blood pressure, and found it dangerously low and she noted there was a risk of fainting with this low blood pressure. However, we all decided if I took an ambulance to the ER, they would likely just keep me waiting for 10 or 12 hours, decide I had no critical medical needs, and send me home at 2 in the morning, with no available way for me to get home.
--
It's now over a week that I've been home. I fainted the 2nd day home, as reported above, and over about the next week the faintness has subsided, so I no longer feel at high risk of fainting.
But I feel that P.A. at Massachusetts General really goofed in discharging me to home rather than for a few days first at a nursing home. If my faint at home had gone differently, I could have been really seriously and permanently injured.

My wife was operated on 10/19. Our stay from then on and through the weekend was the best hospital experience to date. We especially want to comend the staff. Our nurse Lauren Schmidt was the happiest and most cheerful which flowes right to the patients making us feel great. All the staff was great.

This hospital is WAY too busy to help you in a reasonable amount of time. I went in with terrible pain in my left side and SEVEN HOURS later…and multiple tests including repeat ones…and NO results yet! You haven’t eaten ALL day…they don’t care! It’s crazy! It’s also VERY gross! My room had dried blood on the wall…it was SO disturbing that my sister put some gloves on…got some towels and washed it off with Purcell!! Just yuck!

Just yuck!

Easily the most efficient medical facility I have ever stepped foot in. Everyone is friendly and professional…the campus is a very nice place to spend time if you have to spend the whole day for a bunch of testing. Food service has recently been revamped and has dramatically improved. When you consider the volume of people seeking specialized medical care IN ADDITION TO a very active ER, I find it is nearly miraculous that I have never waited more than 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time to see my Dr, and that is coming twice a year for the last 7 years. Not once…

Thank God for the Mayo Hospital in Jacksonville who immediately helped me and treated me like royalty. I can only describe my stay, operation, and treatment as the best anyone can get. The doctors, nurses and workers were all friendly and professional. They would all listen intently to whatever you said or needed and make one feel very comfortable. My husband was a heart transplant patient here. One time they failed to give an accurate report for him to adjust his warfarin accordingly. Subsequently he suffered a stroke and had to have intracerebral hemorrhage surgery. My husband overlooked a lot of things and this hospital had the nerve to kick him off the transplant list. They called an old number and then said that since they couldn't get in touch with him he was non-complaint. I gathered so much proof to show that they were the ones who made an error. I got all the phone records and proof that we updated his information but it was evident that they just wanted to get rid of him. I wanted to sue so bad but I left them all to God. You should have been in that break up meeting. By the grace of God he got his transplant at an excellent hospital in CA.

We were at Vanderbilt before transferring to Mayo. This has been an amazing experience! It’s like it’s a requirement is to be super nice; Vanderbilt, not so much. I would recommend anyone to come here, and I’m so glad we chose to switch. The doctors, nurses, and even the staff (cafeteria, welcome center, etc) were by far nicer than Vanderbilt. They are so knowledgeable, thorough, and patient. Very impressed!!!

The Mayo Clinic is such a special place! It’s a medical facility that could also be a museum of art museum, history, and architecture. People travel from all over the world to be treated here, but what makes it truly special are the compassionate, skilled, and dedicated employees. I stood outside the Mayo Building and watched bus after bus pull up to the staff entrance - and watched countless everyday heroes get off those buses and go to work performing “miracles” at a place that provides hope to people who need it most.!!

My brother was sent here without our consent on 10/16/2023, plus we had informed admissions there and Lakeview case manager that he was not to come there by any means necessary weeks before the 16th. My brother was sent Monday and family had no idea & died that Tuesday morning about 6am.No one has reached out to the family to explain what happened and why he was sent there. What Rea happened at Pam Rehab ? I have been calling Scott with Pam , want call back . Also been calling Gretchen with Lakeview No answer and will not return calls. Pam was indeed a life saving facility for my husband. After suffering a severe stroke leaving him paralyzed on one side PAM took him into their Ltac unit where with their professional, knowledgeable and caring team got him to the point that he was moved to the rehab unit. There the team worked daily to get him started back on the road to an independent life. All the team from the front desk, front office, maintenance personnel, especially the nurses, therapist, aides and PA Lisa made us feel like family. We are forever grateful for our time there.

Absolutely horrible place I do not recommend sending your loved ones here. Before my dad passed we sent him there in hopes that they would take care of him and treat him well because he was very very ill to the point of needing 24/7 care. But, we were terribly wrong the rooms were absolutely disgusting and not being cleaned even the chairs had so much build up I had to deep clean them and the room. The bed they had him in as well was gross and sticky. I unfortunately had to do their job and clean his room everyday. I unfortunately had to also monitor his colostomy bag because they would let it get so full that when they would finally clean when i asked that it overflowed and spilled on the floor. I had help them clean it up because they left it for hours and took them and hour and a half just to get the bag in the first place after i asked them to remove the old filled one with a clean new one. The list goes on unfortunately. In his stay there he also got bed sores i would ask them to help move him often and put pillows under him so that he wouldn’t get bed sores and they never did. The hospital he was at before this was osu. Every hour or two like clockwork osu’s staff would turn him and put pillows under him so he wouldn’t. PAM failed to do this even when I asked especially when I would leave they slacked at taking care of him. I had to move him myself some so that he wouldn’t be uncomfortable. He was in the hospital for months unfortunately and later passed. I’m here 4 months later after his passing to share this because I don’t want this to happen to anyone again. My father didn’t deserve to be treated the way he was at PAM especially being a veteran that served for our country.

My husbands best friend has been in the Pam Unit for 2 months. Not once was the room cleaned. Floors were so dirty. They would leave their trash laying in the room and on his bed. There was one RN nurse who was meanest uncaring person I have ever seen! They have now moved him to a nursing facility over 4 1/2 hours away that has awful reviews. It is so sad how people treat sick patients 👎🏻 they don’t even deserve a 1 star

They took excellent care of my momma! In a time when time was critical the staff was very quick with their response time. My momma was able to return to her home in a very reasonable amount of time. With out the care and dedication of the staff here she would not be back home with us.

DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY MEMBER HERE!!
If I can give this place 0 or negative I would. This guy named James is a liar, and this lady Rose will not listen to you and dismiss you!
Was on hold for more than 20 minutes, since my brother didn't receive his dinner. This guy named James put us on hold and confirmed that the patient finished his dinner but did not record it, 2 CNAs couldnt remember what food was served or what the patient ate. Spoke with the visitor that was there and confirmed that there were no food.
This lady named Rose, who is the charge nurse after answering the phone told us (without listening what we have to say), that she just gave him a sandwich and some fruits. Mainly to shut us up..
Why did they lie to us and confirmed just to get us off the phone??? They didn't even apologize. If they lie on this little thing, makes me wonder what else they could be lying. This place needs to be closed down or need to replace all the incompetent staff.

My dad has been at PAM's for a little over 2 months and is set to transfer in the next few days. This facility is AMAZING, and my family and I are blessed to have had my dad here. He had a stroke after having a double bypass surgery with 2 valves replaced and was transferred to PAM's. This facility has treated him and us like family and truly taken care of him as if he were their own dad, brother, or uncle. PAM's is extremely clean and has tons of staff that are willing to help! My dad is my world, and it was extremely scary when trying to choose a facility for him to be moved to, and if PAM's is a choice, choose it!!!

This place is an absolute nightmare. One person stood out above the rest and that was Ronnie the CNA. Holly the chief of nursing is a joke and only gives false sense of security but she doesn’t follow through. Most of the nurses are nice, some of the CNAs are helpful. There is absolutely no communication with staff. When you bring up concerns they are brushed under the rug. If you ask a question no one has the answer and they point blame to the next. They bring people in here to die here. Illegal things happen in your loved ones rooms, and the so called chief of nursing is aware. If your loved one is a respiratory patient and on oxygen or a ventilator I suggest you move them to another hospital and fast. I highly suggest if you have family in this hospital you need to be there at all times and keep a close eye on everything they do. They don’t actually care about the patients or the families, they care about the money. Even the staff have made comments that it’s all about the money to this place. Absolute disgrace to the medical community and the sick patients who need actual care and kindness. Ronnie keep doing what you are doing, you are an absolute angel and do not let these people change you. We need more people like you in the world!

The Nurses, CNAs, PTs, & Staff were all AMAZING!!! My mom had knee surgery a week ago and our experience there was great!! Everyone was kind and helpful from admission to post op. I can’t remember everyone’s names but I did take some down! We loved how kind and helpful her nurse Kaylani was!!! The most important part to us was having a Spanish speaking nurse on staff. My mom only speaks Spanish and it was so comforting to us knowing at night she was left with someone she could understand and communicate with! Thank you to Josephina and Nasthja for taking such good care of my mom! The physical therapist, Ruth is incredible!!! My mom adored her and made us feel confident about taking her home!! Special thank you to KASS, CNA!!!! She provides excellent patient care. Spine and Joint hospital provided quality care!

I will have to say I have a high threshold for pain and do not like taking medication of any kind. I also only visit a medical professional if it is absolutely necessary. I have no problems with the total knee replacement I had done in this facility. The doctor knew how to do it since he had many years of practice. I also worked hard on rehab and was hiking again with a new knee 6 weeks after surgery.
I see most negative reviews here are patients who claim to have pain. My problem with the facility is a lack of communication with the patients, nurses, doctors and administrators. Seven months after the surgery we finally find out they have the wrong email address for me and there is no medical record on file for me. Just a bill for the day I was there with no reason for me to have even been there. I know my insurance was billed for the procedures, but there is no medical records for me to access. So if you expect to get the medications you should while in this facility, it is unlikely. If you would like to know why your are getting billed and for what, this is probably not the place to go. I feel very fortunate to have come out of there in good shape and attribute that to taking care of myself without drugs of any kind. I believe all the good reviews are due to the hospital's policy of asking for a review two days after you leave the hospital. I have waited the full seven months to see how the billing and documentation went. This organization needs tons of help in that department. I will not be going back and don't recommend anyone else should go there.

If I could give zero stars I would. My mother had a knee replacement three weeks ago. Today was her first day to go to this rehab facility. The therapist got onto her (rather rudely) and said "she doesnt need to be a hero and should still be on a Walker!" Then he proceeded to give her two exercises to do. These were the same two exercises she was doing the day after surgery. She came home in tears and defeated.
Both her physical therapist at my home and her surgeon said she is doing excellent with recovery and healing. It is so sad that this individual is still practicing and hindering healing on others.

Im a true believer that we are all captains of our own ship. Life is what you make of it. However some circumstances are influenced by others. I was really worried when the doctors at Carolina East suggested that my brother who had been on a ventilator for 16 days and critically ill be transferred to PAM in Rocky Mt NC. Reading reviews only scared me more. However nothing there was working and he was slowly dying. After much prayer and research we ultimately made the best decision of his life. Only after 4 days he is eating and walking. A total miracle. When we first got here I was a little skeptic. Everything seemed old school and I wasn’t sure if I had made the right decision. But within hours I felt so comfortable confident and at ease. These people are so nice and caring. Like every hospital they have some that aren’t as good as others but for the most part we have not had a problem yet. The doctors and therapy teams are absolutely amazing. This is the first facility that encourages family members participation. They provide a place to sleep with your love one and meals all at no cost to the family.A shower and private bathroom was in our room for our convenience. My brother has been sick for over a month and for the first time I am hopeful. Thank you PAM y’all have been awesome 👏 😊🥰

My brother received excellent care last month. He was only there for about two or three weeks but the care and overall service he got was exceptional. During dinner time, we were offered dinner (which was delicious). His Second Floor nurses not only attended to his physical care but addressed his overall well-being too. This was instrumental at how fast he got better.
Thank y'all again for taking such good care of him.
