Ari the MRI technologist is absolutely wonderful. I went in for my first and second MRIs in the same week and he made me feel super comfortable while being super friendly. It felt like I was with an old friend! The only downside was the wait time however I understand that’s how things go at hospitals. MG is lucky to have Ari!

Very busy hospital. What did I notice
...they are organized, staff you see in the hallways willing to point you in the right direction with a smile. You must wear a paper mask at all times (no cloth masks allowed).
Imaging centre for x-rays was very busy, but names are called and the line was moving. Expect to wait 30 minutes. I liked the chairs that have plexiglass between them, such a great idea and made me feel very comfortable while I waited.
They have Tim Hortons at the main coxwell entrance and a pharasave for prescriptions.
Taxi stand just outside the main entrance waiting to take you home.
Excellent Hospital and caring kind staff here.
If you liked my pic of plexiglass glass chair give this review a like.

Michael Garron Hospital, formerly Toronto East General Hospital founded in 1929 and located in the East of Toronto in Ontario, has been proudly serving the community of East Toronto since 1929. Over the years the hospital has continued renewing its commitment and version and today Michael Garron Hospital is a full-service and large community teaching hospital with over 500 beds, and providing comprehensive patient care to a diverse population of more than 400,000 people living in its corresponding area! As a community teaching hospital, MGH is affiliated with the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine, the University of Toronto Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing and other educational institutions. MGH is a designated Paediatric Centre for south-east Toronto for maternal, newborn and paediatric care and a partner hospital in the Child Health Network of the Greater Toronto area. Approximately 3,500 babies are delivered annually at the hospital's Maternal Newborn and Child Health Centre! Although the patient waiting time and some other staff training are needed to be addressed and improved, thankfully, MGH has been working very hard with the provincial government to provide the best patient care for the people they care about as they could! Thank you is really needed for their efforts and hard work!

I find most of the staff are friendly and helpful. However, it's not sufficient for lots of patients. So, people should wait for more than usual.
There is lots of parking lot with different charges rate. The inside of the building is clean. Also, lots of restaurant and shops are located there for different tastes.
I believe that it is one of the best hospitals in Toronto.

Great experience here. The staff were amazing. Very kind and thorough. Thank you!
Lots of washrooms. Easy to find rooms. Good variety in the food court. There’s also a Tim Hortons in the building.
Parking can be hard as the path is pretty narrow, so if you make a turn while looking for parking, you can get stuck behind the cars that are waiting to exit, resulting in wasting time and money. Not much you can do about it but wait it through.
Also, you only have 10 minutes to exit after you pay for your ticket, so best to walk to your car right away, as you might get stuck behind cars trying to park and/or exit. Good luck!

I find the staff and employees for the most part, are friendly and helpful. There were a few times when I was lost and asked random employees for guidance, and they went out of their way to help. The lab and diagnostics can be super busy, and for some reason, I always get a bruise with bloodwork, but not at other clinics. It would be great to see reasonable parking fees, but this seems to be the norm. There is a Second Cup inside the main entrance, to the right, and a Tim Horton’s (go straight pass the elevators, turn left, keep going).

Came in after my mother was brought in emergency by ambulance. Those guys A+ they knew what to do. Then this started. From 530pm and well it is 3am now and we are still waiting to hear from the doctor’s guess or expertise for what may have triggered my mom’s situation. Doctor paid us a visit at 130am to just ask questions and check her vitals. Mom was then given IV only at 145am even though she had already told the short hair cut with blonde dyed hair nurse that she had only ate yesterday in the morning. He didn’t catch that back at 630pm. We are still here and we just may have to move in bc there seems to be only one doctor working while 20 nurses mixed with hard working ones and then the ones who seem to have the time to sit almost the entire time we were here. I wish we had been given an opportunity to go elsewhere. It feels like the healthcare system here is absolutely the last resort.

Staff are very dismissive and don't bother explaining anything to patients. I came here to the ER and ended up waiting 7 hours to see a doctor. It took me over an hour just to get triaged. I understand things can get busy but for some reason this hospital does not staff for the volume of patients they see. I would avoid this hospital at all costs. It's honestly THAT bad

I have been going here since I was born. Now at 31 years old, I take my eldest daughter for her own related disabilities.
I have very few if not no negative things to say about this hospital.
Wonderful place, great memories, and new memories yet to create!

Amazing Hospital. I can never forget the selfless service of Dr Nathan, Nurse Kyra and Social Worker Carly as well as all the hardworking nurses, doctors and hospital workers we have met since last year. These amazing angels have been working tirelessly to care for my son who was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. When I think about these amazing people, I thank God for humanity. These people are selfless, hardworking, dedicated and always willing to help everyone they come across. I can't imagine anyone leaving a bad review for Sick Kids Hospital. This is the same hospital that revived my daughter, Faith when she was born lifeless several years ago. Please folks think twice before you leave bad reviews for Sick Kids hospital. You have to keep in mind that the system is bombarded due to high amount of cold related illness. Please do your best to appreciate them. Your appreciation both in cash and kindness will go a long way. Thank you Sick Kids and Staff for the wonderful work you are doing. We love you.

It was the first time I went to The hospital for sick children, which is known as the best children's hospital in the world. It really lives up to its reputation. The doctors are enthusiastic and professional, the detection methods are advanced, and the environment is comfortable and beautiful. I appreciate it! ! Always donate to it before and will donate more in the future.

I went here to ask for Lazer skin care surgery for moderate to medium severe unknown facial scarring…
I paid $6,000 for 1500 Needles to be punctured into my skin with some sort of medicine that must have just been sterile water… it actually looks ten times worse than it did before I started; had I not mentioned I had an inheritance; I might not have been sent to a random room….
They might have actually given me the first possible treatment too work for my skin, instead they figured I’d go back for the rest of the 14 other rooms of mechanical devices they had to offer for skin care. WHEN I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR LAZER TREATMENT… when I arrived she just grabbed this huge machine with a needle device (PUHHHWOOOPHTSHHHHHUUUUHHHGHAHGHAGHA) it was a retarded puncture device with a huge needle going in and out of your cheeks and such, completely missing my nose which was half of my worry to begin with. I’m thinking of sueing concidering that treatment isn’t even listed on their website!!! I’m very upset. It looks way worse and with more puncture marks than before :,( HANDS DOWN THE STUPIDEST PLACE TO GO FOR ACNE TREATMENT IN THE WORLD… have fun guys. Get ripped off then!!!

My mom chose to have a hip replacement done at a private clinic because she did not want to wait at her age. I found Gateway Surgery online and phoned them. I and my mom were impressed by their professionalism. They gave us confidence, and we knew we were at the right place. My mom had her hip replacement with Dr. Adam Hart. Thank you so much! We had a very good experience with travelling, staying and post operations care. I have nothing but great things to say about this. My mom’s life was back normal. We would like to thank all the staff at Gateway Clinic for the exceptional and outstanding patient care!

I recently had bilateral hip replacement surgery with Gateway and Dr Adam Hart in Montreal. The entire process from the initial contact was totally efficient, organized and very kind.
I felt completely well cared for and I was confident right from the start that I was in great hands.
I cannot believe how quickly I am recovering!
Dr Hart is a wonderful, very kind surgeon and his team in Montreal, every single member of that team, were exemplary.
This organization treated me with compassion too. I totally recommend Gateway and Dr Hart .

I chose to have my hip replacement done at a private clinic as I did not want to wait for years at my age. I found Gateway Surgery online and was impressed by their professionalism and by learning that the surgeon was also head of orthopaedic surgery at a local hospital in Calgary. Their receptionist, Jennie, was friendly and open with all the information I requested. I spoke with the surgeon, Dr Johnson, a few times prior to surgery and also to the anesthetist. A lot of health information was requested prior to the surgery which I liked. Maybe having a video about what the surgery would have involved might have been helpful but once I was at the clinic, the care was superb. Physio visited the day following surgery and once I mastered the use of the crutches and was shown the exercises, I was sent home with a set of crutches and an ice machine equipped with a sleeve to fit over the hip. The information booklet that was given to me at discharge was very helpful but I would have liked to receive a phone call from the surgeon at the 5-6 week post op and not have to phone to ask for this. I would highly recommend using this clinic. My recovery has been smooth and I am almost back to normal at the 3 month mark.

TKR in August 2022. Very disappointed with the room I was in, very untidy . I was unable to shower as it was being used for storage, which meant a lot of interruptions whilst I was trying to rest following surgery. The nurses were absolutely wonderful. Follow up care by Dr Zarnett not as it should have been, I was told I would have had three telephone consultations after my surgery 6 weeks, three months and six months, but so far I have only had one call from him at six weeks. (I am now six months post surgery).
Not sure I could recommend Clearpoint Toronto considering the cost of my surgery and the lack of aftercare.

I went in for my first surgery a few days ago and everyone at the surgical centre was great. I felt well taken care of from the moment I walked in. I was extremely anxious and they did everything they could to make me comfortable, and followed up the next day.
Thank you to the whole team that worked with me! And an extra thanks to the nurse who held my hand when I was scared 💜

Great staff, everyone was so nice! After a terrible experience 10 years previous at a surgical centre downtown on Burrard, I was expecting the same terrible treatment. Instead, I was so pleasantly surprised! The anesthesiologist, Demitri, gave me a local anesthetic before putting the intravenous needle into the back of my hand which I very much appreciated! All the nurses were kind to me. From start to finish, everyone was so great and treated me well.

Only ten days from diagnosis to surgery to repair my Inguinal Hernia. Dr. Scudamore and his team were amazing. The entire process with False Creek was a pleasant experience largely due to Dr. Scudamore’s ability to listen and understand my concerns, recovery objectives and how I wanted the surgery performed. Open surgery, no mesh, used my own fascia to repair the tear and he also took the time to tie off vessels rather then cauterization. Minimal tissue damage! Can’t say enough good things!

Had my aviation medical exam with Dr. Duncan earlier today.
I felt healthy, but I was understandably nervous having not known what to expect from the test, but Dr. Duncan made sure to explain the process in detail, and was very nice about my mild anxiety towards the test. I left the test much calmer, and he was super nice as well. Thank you Dr. D.

My surgery to have my tonsils was supposed to be for this Friday coming up.
Got a confirmation text to confirm this appointment today, maybe roughly 2 hours later I get a call from my dr's office that this has to be cancelled!
My boyfriend had taken time off work to be able to take me. I was prepared to take 2 weeks off work and the day off on Friday.
I can understand being understaffed, however It's completely unacceptable to cancel an appointment so close to the date, imagine if I wasn't able to work for those two weeks because they had decided to over book appointments and not have enough staff available for these said appointments. I have been waiting over 2 years for this!
So disappointed by the fact the timing was so uncalled for. I'm sure there was knowledge before the long weakened of this being an issue...
