There is only one internationally rated hospital in Ecuador and it is in Quito. After 10 days in this hospital, they are decades away from being accredited. They do not have a lot of basic equipment. Suffice it to say… it took 5 days just to find me a washcloth. Had to stay an extra 3 days due to their neglect. Ecuadorian health care is ranked 101 in the world. U.S. is ranked 32. You chose.

Great hospital with multiple specialists on site. Dr Maldonado spoke great English, and was very helpful in diagnosing and helping resolve my gastrointestinal concerns

Facilities in sight very acceptable. At the entrance, 2 receptionists are required to avoid long waits. In x-rays they gave me the images and agreed to send it to me by WhatsApp. But so far it hasn't happened.

Terrible attention from the register, a lady was attending me at 12:00, she told me that they were going to call me to the room to discharge the patient, but she left the register and they never called. I had to go down after an hour and it turns out that the girl did not do any of her work, the same with some people that we were in the box. Complete mess with the output

They don't attend, they don't review the exams or anything, they just say no and already despite having an advanced pregnancy with preeclampsia and an infection. Horrible care from the doctors, despite being an emergency they didn't care so they didn't care for me and they treated me horrible, even the guards said that they should care for me because it's an emergency, and then they said that they are like that sometimes they they tell guards to say no to patients just so they don't work

I really say this government hospital really awesome . One week I spend here. Stuff very friendly and helpful.

The experience I have is sitting outside on the sidewalk, my wife arrived an hour before me for emergency care and she entered without problems, since I did not enter with her I have to wait outside, the doctor tells her that only the guard can decide whether or not to go in and he tells me that only the doctor... in short, there is my wife feeling very bad and unable to accompany her. We have always been attended to at the axxis but in the last 3 months the attention has been terrible, we have been 4 times and on all occasions we had problems. Today was the last straw 3 hours of waiting for them to attend us in emergencies and only bad faces from the cashier. Terrible, I hope to find another good hospital option in Quito

When in most places, including private laboratories, they charge $25 per COVID 19 PCR test, in this place they charged $33 (invoice 3212). There is no justification for this surcharge
