It's pathetic that they don't follow serial at all for Dr. Momenuzzaman. Staff are busy to give their known persons serial. It's costly but the service is below the belt. They don't care about patients suffering at all. It's a chaos in the management. If possible find another doctor to get proper treatment. Highly not recommended. Also before giving Bill, check the paper properly. They always try to put some extra called service cost which was never serve. If you are admitted there and take any package, try to pay the bill before 5 pm otherwise you need to pay the next day charges as well.

This is a top level hospital in Bangladesh. The hospital is very clean and their service are very good. They have very large car parking. Parking fee is 50 taka for car and 20 taka for motor cycle. The fee is for first two hours after two hours the price will be increased. They have a canteen for the patient relatives and visitor. They have diagnostic centre. I feel that the hospital is very expensive. Outside food is not allowed in the hospital. They have single cabin room, single luxury cabin, double shared room. Room rent is very expensive.

My nephew was born in this hospital. We did not have a pleasant experience. Ultimately we have to shift the baby to another hospital. The behavior of the staff is okay however, they need to upgrade their service and maintain their lifts properly.

It's a good hospital, considering the quality of the average hospitals in Bangladesh. You can find some good consultants here. The rooms and lobbies are clean. The nurses and duty doctors are available 24x7, responsible and are cooperative. Almost all of the necessary tests and medicines are available in-house. The rooms don't have an emergency button for the patients to call for help, so for server patients, sometime must be there with the patient always. The cabins have 2 beds for this reason. The room rents don't include meals. But apparently, they don't have any restrictions for outside food or even for visitors. Being a well reputed and popular hospital, it's tight to get a cabin here. If you follow the instructions provided by the admission counter, you may get a cabin in 2-3 days. No parking available, only street side. Managing a spot sometimes seem impossible in busy day time.

Moreover this hospital has all kinds of facilities depending on rate, Hospital bed rent ward= from 1900 tk Cabin bed = from 2700 tk Vip cabin bed= from 6500/- They have all kinds of lab diagnostic and imaging center, everyone can get 25% discount in every test. Because of a trusty institions they give some subsidy on test. Their cardiac,pediatric,stroke, gynecologist, unit is very resourceful.

Cleanliness and service are good. But their billing system is a complete mess. People are waiting for hours to pay the bill, but not even one bill is right. Even after my own patient's bill comes to the counter, it takes 1 hour to pay. What kind of system is it? Management of the hospital should improve the speedy billing process to eliminate suffering of patients.

I heard a lot about this hospital, but I think the service is average. But it is true that many good and experienced doctors do chambers here. But there is also a flip side to the coin of this hospital. A few days ago, after the death of a patient and her neonates under the care of Dr. Songjukta Saha, various irregularities and sufferings of the hospital have come to the fore. And many are opening up their suffering experience about this. Therefore, we all have to be more conscious about the treatment of the family and decide the hospital and doctor. Finally, it is very costly, beyond the capacity of average income people.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University popularly known as PG Hospital, is the first medical university in Bangladesh. Before becoming a university, its name was Institute of Post Graduate Medicine and Research. It is located in Shahbagh, Dhaka. Right next to it there are two another institution these are 'Bangladesh National Meuseum' and 'Bangladesh Institute of Research and Rehabilitation in Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders (BARDEM)'. The Institute of Post Graduate Medicine and Research (IPGMR) was established in Dhaka in 1965 to provide postgraduate courses in medical education. Although responsible for post-graduate teaching and research, this institution did not have degree-granting powers. It was entrusted to Dhaka University. Dhaka University used to offer MBBS degree in many medical colleges including IPGMR program. On April 30, 1998, it was converted into a full-fledged medical university through a parliamentary ordinance. Although the MBBS course was introduced, the institution earlier offered only post-graduate education. The new university was named after Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
