1 Thoracic surgery clinic in Irbid

My dad had died yesterday due to pure negligence. My dad was awake and alive but very exhausted. His blood was 6.5. What killed him was the 8 hours of waiting for the doctor to arrive and make a decision. When that happened, it was too late, and I lost my dad, for ever. I was told that the hospital is broke, and don’t pay salaries. I highly recommend everyone to NOT consider any hospital in Irbid.

The hospital is a large and major medical edifice in northern Jordan, serving a large segment of citizens, providing comprehensive medical services of high quality. There is no doubt that the large number of auditors affects the quality of service administratively. Large parking is available. There is more than one prayer room, but more attention is needed in the cleanliness inside the prayer room. The WC public health facilities are unfortunately not clean, and most of the reason is the misuse of patients and companions, and some of them smoke in them!! And the facilities do not have toilet paper! However, there must be a comprehensive program for the cleanliness of these facilities by the cleaning authority.

Worst hospital ever. After waiting for more than six hours and sending us from one place to another they said we are not authorized to write a report for the patient!!!!!

The best hospital in Jordan, excellent doctors and nursing staff. Gave birth there twice and it will always be my go to place for any medical concern.

Has many clinical specialties. The only problem I've noticed so far, and arriving long before the appointment, to be able to park the car. Narrow streets and very difficult to get a parking space.

I don't recommend this place, and if there is zero star I would give them zero. I want to share my experience with Jordan hospital, which was shocking for us. I came with my 4-month baby for minor surgery. We were assigned to a room that had nothing (drinking water- tissues). The room wasn't in the best shape. I have to carry my baby to the surgery room, and then I waited in the recovery room for more than one hour the nurses didn't show up, and I was not allowed to take him to the room ( maybe I would run away without paying!!). Finally, I was allowed to carry him down myself since the great nurse never showed up! I asked the nurse to check the drip's needle and take it out of his arm since it was so painful for him and there was no need to keep it, according to the doctor, but she never showed up again!!! I pushed the emergency bottom after 20 minutes, but no one showed up ( as usual)!!! What a great service! They made us wait for 2 hours to write the report. And when I wanted to make a complaint about the service they said to write down your note and push it in the box so looks like nobody cares. I talked to the PR person who tried to show some "fake" interest to the level that he didn't ask for my phone or email to follow up on my complaint, and I am sure nobody cares in this "place". if you need my advice go somewhere else.

the emergency is the worst ever. urgent cases dealt with slow actions from the team, inserting cannula without having a tray or sterile environment. triage staff with very bad behaviors. emergency bed is very old. change your team. this is not international standards as you claim

I don't recommend this hospital. Unprofessional staff. They don't even care , the emergency department was very chaotic, bathrooms with sewage smell, furniture looks old and needs to be changed. the most important thing was the treatment, they treats patients like a grocery shop, no one displayed empathy or showed least caring. These kind of handling the operations made me feel sick therefore, I decided to:cancel the admission and look for a better hospital.

A thoroughly professional and pleasant service during my 3-day stay at The Specialty. The staff in Level 1 wards were exceptional and the hygiene and care brilliant. Lovely cafe, too. Prices better than most.

Why you ask for donations if you will not accept to provide us your treatments when we need it!! I dont know what is the criteria you have to accept people in this hospital! Very disappointed and inhumane.

This review is for مركز سميح دروزة not for KHCC itself. I am a doctor and I had training in KHCC and I know very well that KHCC is very specialized and excellent center, in Jordan I've never seen such well organized and good facility. I am very shocked that Samee7 darwazeh center(which works under KHCC) turned to be our family nightmare. My father took 2 chemo cycles in samee7 darwazeh center , he had medication dose toxicity twice in his first & second chemo cycles and because there's no emergency department/section in Sameeh Darwazeh Center my father was not resuscitated well, we were told that if a patient needs an emergency treatment he should go alone and just walk from sameeh darwazeh center to albasheer's emergency department, He collapsed in the elevator and we carried him to that ER department where they didn't give him the appropriate management and discharged him without doing any labs. They discharged him from ER while he was disoriented, shaking, his hands were contracted to the extreme, his temperature was 34 with tachycardia and palpitation. He lost consciousness 20 minutes after discharge and i had to resuscitate him in the street. I don't wish this to happen to anyone, no one deserves this.
