Well, what can I say, for the inadequate money they charge for services, the doctors are still ok, but the staff could be more polite. The attitude is as if I am in a free regional clinic. Dissatisfied faces of nurses, waiting 40 minutes for discharge and constant questions about when I will finally leave and rolling their eyes at my requests. A special gem was the cloakroom attendant who confronted me about why I left my jacket. They left me at the department because I felt bad. As if I had to run after them all, which is what I had to do

Very good medical center. The doctors are all experienced and knowledgeable. And most importantly - with a sincere desire to help people! They do it efficiently and conscientiously. They personally helped me cope with a serious diagnosis in 3 months!

Great clinic. 5 points. I have long wanted to have an operation, but I couldn’t choose a clinic... I finally settled on Sandinavia, which I didn’t regret at all! They were the only ones who offered me the support of a manager. I arranged for accompaniment during registration at the clinic. The whole procedure was so quick, simple and easy! No extra worries or hassle. In the evening I also wrote to my manager and clarified a couple of points. I felt that I was not alone)). Can't say was impressed by attitude of Kondratishko service. We not living in Latvia any more and have adopted to western culture and would like to have better service and customer skill service from person who charges such a big money for 5 min consultation. Very dissatisfied. Would not let my other half to have operation done by person like that. Hope clinic's bosses are reading this and some measures will be taken to put her on the right way how to provide her service.

I have had abdominal liposuction and abdominoplasty performed by Dr. Tomasz Mierzwiński. I am very pleased with the results, but I have to wait a few weeks for the final result, but the surgery itself and post-operative care are at the highest level. I wholeheartedly advise against visiting Mrs. Zofia Jamrozik-Kruk. The doctor is so rude that it's not worth talking to. The whole visit had a very pretentious tone, and let's not forget that we come to the doctor for help, not as specialists who should know everything at the door. I had the great fortune to have surgery and a 2 night stay at The Chiltern Hospital as an NHS patient. The whole experience was exceptional, I could not have asked for more. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. From registration to leaving everyone was amazing. They always are. Mr. Hilton is so nice, as is Dr. Wee. My nurse was Alison, I think. All the staff are just so nice and happy to chat and have a laugh. I hope I don’t have to go back, but if I do I know I will be looked after and happy.😘🥂

All the staff were excellent. They were friendly and incredibly supportive. From the consultant, Mr Harvey and anaesthetist, Mr Snow to all the nursing staff - particularly Karina, Margaret and Sally - there were many others, Vanessa, Abby and Bernard who all took such care. Claire was excellent and most attentive. All the staff were amazing. The rooms are lovely (albeit a bit noisy road side but I was a day patient so didn’t matter). Theatre nurses were so kind. Ms Rajeswari saw me before, immediately after and before I went home and was most reassuring. Anaesthetist K O’Connor kept me chatting while putting me under so I never had any stress or tension. It was overall an amazing experience and makes me grateful for my private medical. Thank you all. Down to the sandwich and tea. Everything was perfect and ran so smoothly and got a phone call 9am next day to ensure I was ok. Thank you.

I was so impressed with my care at Princess Margaret. Every single member of staff I encountered were absolutely fantastic. Right from the receptionist on my way in, then the porter who showed me to my room, the lady who took my lunch order and then of course all of the HCA’s, Nurses, Theatre Practitioners etc. Miss Predolac was a star as always and my anaesthetist was also great at putting me at ease from the get go. Unfortunately I’m rubbish with names but I would like to do a special mention of the breast nurse - she was absolutely fantastic and tipped my experience over the excellence edge. Thanks so much.

Drink water taste is terrible. Food is disaster. Often I got completely different meals than the one I ordered or miss a lot of options like fruit or vegetables. You can’t even have proper hot water for tee. Coffee is too privileged to be discussed here!!! All this would have been solved if i wasn’t locked in the nuclear medicine station, but since I’m not allowed to be visited or to go out, i couldn’t provide myself with proper water or nutrients. I really hope when i come back in 6 months from now, that you improve the situation. If i can give you negative star i would have done.

The care provided to our child before, during, and after birth was exceptional. Both my wife and baby are now in excellent health, thanks to the dedicated team's utmost care. We appreciated the English-speaking doctors and nurses, which made it easy to understand our family's health progress during our 5-day stay. While there was a minor concern about the lack of a doctor's visit for my wife, it's worth noting that doctors were regularly visiting for our baby's health. Never go here, Please. Dr. Julia Brzoska promotes in Doctorlib reception of publicly insured patients, but they do not. They have unqualified personal on the front desk unaware fully of regulations. It wasted my time in such a delicate topic. They are another private clinic sustained by marketing.

Most Traumatizing Medical Experience Ever! While the Meo clinic might impress with its aesthetics and cordial staff, its administrative and financial aspects are deeply flawed: Lack of Transparency: I never received a clear financial breakdown for my treatments, and attempts to seek clarity were met with resistance. Billing Issues: A year post-treatment, I got bills escalated to collection agencies and court by PVS, an outsourced payment firm used by many of the clinic's doctors. The initial bills of approximately 3800 EUR more than doubled. Worse, the bills had incorrect patient details. Missing Medical Records: Despite continuous requests over two years, I've only gotten records from one out of the four doctors I saw. A recent visit revealed a mere two notes from 22 visits and a few prescription copies – no record of MRI/MRT scans, ultrasounds, cancer tests, or blood tests. Poor Communication: The clinic's staff claim that doctors operate autonomously and aren't answerable to them. The doctors, on the other hand, blame PVS, their invoice firm. PVS remains unresponsive, creating a maddening loop of non-accountability. Legal Issues: While withholding necessary medical documentation from me, the clinic keeps adding to my bills via lawyers. They know I need the documents for insurance, but continue to stonewall all communication attempts, even from my insurance provider. In summation, my experience with the Meo clinic has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite promises of proficient service and clear English communication (given my expat status during the Covid lockdowns), I've received neither medical results nor proper documentation of treatments. Their blatant disregard and lack of support have left me feeling abused and overlooked. I warn potential patients, especially international and EU visitors to Germany, to be cautious before visiting this clinic! Expect zero documentation, no effective communication, and exorbitant bills. This clinic seems indifferent to the profound impacts such negligence might have on your life, expecting you to bear costs out-of-pocket despite insurance coverage. The only "documentation" you might get are bills from PVS that state amounts without any clear patient context. When reaching out to the clinic for help they clearly state that they aren’t responsible for any of “their doctors”… but at the same time advertise their clinic as a fully integrated medical institution that takes care of everything for you as their patent! It’s absolutely scandalous!

**EDIT TO RESPOND TO COMMENT*** While I understand the reply is mainly to manage reputation for people reading this review, I spent 35 minutes trying to 'rectify' the issue in the clinic and was met with eye rolls and sighs from unhelpful management. I understand there are protocols to follow in regards to billing, it is just a shame that this time it seems those protocols weren't adhered to and extra charges were added. I believe my email address and phone number are on file so I am happy to discuss further if you wish to reach out. ------ ORIGINAL POST Quoted €80-150 for a doctors consultation and after a 12 minute consultation was given a bill for €394,88. Was eventually discounted by €80 euros as was able to show I was charged for services I didn’t receive but still was grossly overcharged and my lack of speaking German was taken advantage of (one small example was my 12 minute consultation was charged as “Mind. 20mins” which the obnoxious manager tried to tell me means “under 20 minutes” and wouldn’t change). Even when you do the right thing and ask for a price upfront you still get ripped off. Please think twice before attending this clinic as they are not upfront at all and are very deceitful. The receptionist was good and very apologetic but all other staff dealt with were rude and unhelpful. The final explanation is “I’m sorry but the professor can charge what he wants and won’t change anything”. Be careful if you don’t speak German as you will likely get overcharged too.

What a wonderful hospital. We had a pre-operation visit today, and from the reception to having our nurse consult, blood tests and X-Rays done, each and everyone we saw, were so kind, and explained everything in detail as to what was going to happen step by step to make us feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Referred by Luzdoc to Urgencias on Tuesday 31 October. Everyone we encountered was extremely helpful. Special thanks to Dr Issy and Dr Pedro who reassured me with their professional competence. Nursing staff were very caring. Waiting in such medical circumstances is expected and inevitable. All staff spoke English without any hesitation, for which I am grateful as unfortunately my Portuguese is not to that level. I thank everyone for their assistance and treatment.

Very nice people and very professional doctors at this hospital so the 2 stars are for them. I had a cut in my lip and needed stitches. The very friendly Dutch speaking doctor put in 4 stitches. Good job. But than came the bill. The treatment took 15 minutes, sedation and stitching. The bill: 1100 euro. A totally excessive amount of money for the work done. 2 Years ago I was here also for 6 stitches in my face and than I had to pay around 350 euro. There is something seriously wrong in our society if you wanna make that much money over the backs of people that need treatment. HPA, you should be ashamed. To the CEO of this place, try to look in the mirror and say out loud, 4 stitches 1100 euro, and than keep a straight face.

New to the institute, I am reassured to be treated there. People who listen, full of gentleness and kindness. Returning to these places is quite anxiety-inducing, but when we see how we are welcomed there, we take these moments with more lightness.

The Bergonié Institute is truly at the top on all levels. A wonderful organization, which allowed me not to stress about making appointments. These are grouped together on the same day given the distance from my home. Every department I have been to I have met caring, smiling, gentle and professional staff and let's not forget to say very competent. Top anesthetist and surgeon, thank you.

Extraordinary, attentive and competent... just yesterday, I was there; my surgeon, my nurses are more than "on top" of gentleness, smile and everything... if you have serious health concerns, this is the place... if my surgeon retires at the end of this year, I will think of her very much because she is sublime and she deserves "a little" rest - What skill! Living in the Paris region, in March 2023 I performed a colonoscopy at the Clinique Ste Marie (Cergy) revealing the existence of a non-cancerous polyp in the rectum. In April 2023, I contacted Doctor Mourregot at the ICM for a second opinion. The ICM then diagnosed me with stage 3 cancer. Everything is accelerating! Chemotherapy treatment (3 months) accompanied by chemoradiotherapy (1 month) are implemented. To date, I would like to share my experience with anyone who has questions about the care provided by the ICM. I was very well cared for, very well surrounded by a team of competent, professional, thoughtful, attentive and above all attentive doctors, nurses and healthcare staff. I responded very well to the treatments offered. I have complete confidence in this healthcare facility. Follow-up and surgery in the context of cancer. Serious and respectful institute. The oncologists, dct fabro and dct quesada, referred me to the surgeon, prof. Colombo, a human professional and very attentive. Intensive care department with little care, same kindness once in the surgery department, apart from the head of department who should be avoided, and who could benefit from training in empathy. Despite this, I remain satisfied and grateful to the institute which has my full confidence.

I was followed by the ICM. I have never seen anywhere else the interest they show in their patient. Everything is coordinated planned. The staff is extremely empathetic, kind and attentive.

Would certainly NOT recommend this hospital. Went in with pneumonia and came out with 2 different ones.

Had zero issues getting help as a Canadian tourist. Was in and out in 10 minutes! Everyone was very helpful and spoke perfect english!

After a waiting time of 4 hours after I was sent to this hospital by a doctor as an emergency, I was treated so unfriendly by the nurses, that after being in tears for another half hour, I finally quit. I was supposed to get surgery on my eyelid, never met the doctor who was supposed to do the surgery. I will never ever go to this hospital again.

This is my experience and includes my feelings. I can't understand many of the reviews here. The employees were more than friendly and helpful. The nurses were all equal, friendly and accommodating. Personally, I didn't have the feeling that there was a lack of skills here. Regarding the food, I have to say that it was more than varied and delicious. In my opinion, the portions are also completely sufficient and if someone is there just for food, there is also a canteen that offers delicious food, no one really has to go hungry here . I would like to thank this clinic very much for doing a good job at short notice and, above all, more than competently in an emergency despite the high volume. The family doctor sends you to the hospital (emergency ambulance) and you sit there for an hour in the waiting area, only to be told that they don't have a surgeon and they can't do anything. So this hospital is getting more and more ridiculous. 0 stars if it were possible.

The fact that something like this persists in Germany is another sign of our ailing health policy. I was here on a course. I got increasing pain in the left upper abdomen. I tried camomile, heat and pills. When it got worse on the third day, I went to said emergency room. From here a disaster. I was made to wait, then an assistant came, questioned me, took the typical vital parameters, put in an access and took blood and said goodbye. She worked with long artificial fingernails, which I consider extremely questionable and unprofessional in this area. After another hour, a doctor came, asked how things were going, sent me for an X-ray and said goodbye. Two hours later and a few questions, I found out that this doctor is closing time and a new one is coming. This one came too, BUT. He clearly came from Africa and spoke very bad German. He then wanted to do an ultrasound, I'LL GO ABOUT HERE, he prepared everything and then... he couldn't operate the device. He then broke off, saying there was nothing. I asked what the X-ray revealed. He didn't know about an x-ray, but wanted to ask. He came back after a whole hour and didn't answer me, wanted to send me to a room. I asked about the X-ray, he said bluntly, he doesn't know anything about it, but if anything happened, he'd find out. He didn't go into the blood. I released myself, walked to my apartment in pain, packed my bag and drove home. A look at the blood count made me suspicious, my inflammation levels were extremely high (I used to work in the emergency services) At Großburgwedel I drove down because I almost had an accident, couldn't breathe and could hardly sit up straight. I crawled into the emergency room and was on the verge of collapse from the pain. They took me straight away. listened to my story Doubted, looked at the papers and were amazed. If new blood was drawn, asked for the diagnosis "meteorism", I denied this. Ridiculous. I was given tilidin for the pain. I was fine in no time. Blood work came and the inflammation levels were not higher. An ULTRASOUND was done. Water in the pleural space.... That's simple medicine. Neither the blood was detected, the x-rays gone, and no ultrasound... A shame and actually I should sue the clinic!!!

This is the most efficient Hospital I have ever been in. I have travelled extensively in my life, and have been in Hospitals in many other countries. It's also the largest Hospital by far. The staff are friendly, the Doctors are superb. Highly recommended.

I was there because I had problems with my knee the nurses were really nice but one of the nurses really said to me if I just want pills against the pain and then just go home I said I really wanted to see a doctor and waited 4 hours then I got called and waited another hour I got an X-Ray and they just put on an bandage and let me go later I visited another hospital and they gave me a cast then it healed but again the Staff was really nice to me

I’d give 0 stars if I could. Unfriendly nurses. Incompetent doctors. I took my 80 y/o father to the ER, with high blood pressure and a heart failure. A very rude doctor told us repeatedly, that there was nothing he could do. And he actually didn’t do anything!!! He just kept on telling us, to go to his primary doctor.

This clinic is a joke! I have visited this clinic several times and my experiences have been unpleasant to say the least. The time of the appointment is not taken into account - I waited in front of the office between half an hour and an hour, the doctors being either delayed with the other appointments or completely absent from the clinic. No one seems interested in behaving respectfully with patients and keeping appointments. The lobby waiting area is insufficient and inadequate. People crowd the corridors like in a pathetic state hospital. The building is unkempt and shabby, especially the hallways and patient toilets. The reception staff are unprofessional, they don't know how to give you the information you need, they are disrespectful and totally disinterested. If you don't have a recommendation for a doctor ok, it's a total lottery whether you find someone competent or not, I was very disappointed with how I was treated by certain doctors in this clinic, their level of knowledge and professionalism. Unfortunately, it does not come close to the quality standards that a private clinic should have

Medlife could invest more in the building and room decorations for 100€/night. The cost of the analysis were covered by the state and the doctor that treated me was very well prepared (dr.Burs). The food is good but there is much to do to compete with the private sector in the West of Europe.

The worst hospital I have ever visited, the staff is thinking that they can figure what problems are important and which are not. They just thought I have nothing important to work with, so just said to visit another doctor. The next day morning another doctor said that I should have come earlier 🫠 I hope they will be treated like they treat other people!

No complaint about medical stuff. They are kind and very professional as always, however woman at reception with red hair at that info point kiosk at entrance is very arrogant and rude not only to us but while i was waiting there same behavior with all other patients.

I wish you a good day. In June 2023, our 89-year-old mother was operated on in your hospital. She was operated on by Mudr. Turčan, Mr. Prime Minister of the private gynecologist. Mamma center in BB. He performed the operation in an absolutely professional manner, for which we thank him very much. My mother, but also the family, were very worried about putting her to sleep, as she has a very weak heart and, of course, her old age. She was anesthetized by the head of the OAIM department, Mudr. Paľúch Štefan, who did his job absolutely professionally. After the operation, he gave us the necessary information, assured and reassured us that my mother was transferred to the ward in a stable condition, where he took the initiative to check her. In this way, I want to sincerely thank him for our family and my mother for everything he did for her, for his fantastic care and spiritual support. I sincerely thank the Surgical Department - Hospital Agel Žiar nad Hronom. I met incredibly nice medical staff in the department, helpful, smiling, without any signs of nervousness or stress. I also rate the cleanliness of the ward and the food very positively. Although I had a prescribed diet, the dishes were excellently flavored. Special thanks to the mayor MUDr. To Ján Grolmus for his human approach and urgent solution to my health problem. I left the hospital after 4 days with the feeling that the patients in the glowing surgical department are in the best hands of professionals who do not lack empathy.

Dr. Kamilka Turek, she does everything possible, but the pain can't work miracles and the blockage is not over, the nurses are also ok, but the diet is still a lactose-free diet, and if it happens to them, one Max two days, but not every day, cottage cheese, yogurt, cheese, butter, dill sauce... shake
