I do not reccomend this hospital. I am not Bulgarian and I do not speak Bulgarian so after making an appointment I went to hospital. Ladies in reception spoke English barely and they could not find my appointment in their system, I spoke with 3 ladies and they barely understood me.... but after long conversation I saw the doctor. I told about my symptoms and he gave me medicine. It was surprising because my symptoms were vomiting, nausea etc and without any blood test, checkout anything he just gave me the medicine. At my work I got paralized and I could not move my head. I took like 3-4 hours,I felt so bad. The nervs in my neck were paralized. The medicine was too strong plus it was for people who had radiotheraphy and chemiotheraphy. Never ever trust any doctor who gives medicine just like that. Obviously I stopped taking this medicine and went to gastroenterologist. I do not reccomend. Who knows what chould happen...

I have been hospitalized 2 times in Acibadem City clinic:
• 1 planned surgery by d-r Tsvetan Minchev, who was impeccable at his job and I'd recommend over and over again
• 1 planned C-section by d-r Maria Atanasova, who is by far the most empathic, positive, professional and outstanding doctor I know. Be it I have 3 children, I'd go to her every single time.
Both times I spent 5 days in Tokuda hospital - the rooms and facilities were up to a high standard, the nurses and other personnel were above expectations, I felt in the right place.
+ the Neonatology department is truly outstanding!

We don’t live in Sofia and we needed a consultation with a doctor. We filled in a form via internet we received a call from the hospital with two dates and they told us to come and wait. The doctor wasn’t the kind that makes appointments. We were assured that we’ll pass. Well, we traveled, we spent for a hotel room and 8:30 in the morning we were in front of the doctor’s office waiting. It took an hour and a half till we were informed that the doctor took a holiday and we can see some of his colleagues instead. We came though for this particular doctor and all the stuff - the receptionists, the nurses and the “replacement” were shrugging. They couldn’t explain and telling us that they were not aware about the doctor’s schedule. Just like they didn’t work there!!! Very, very disappointed! Ben if this is the best doctor we’d rather find a more reliable institution.

Went there for a quick vaccination and did not have any trouble. The receptionist was kind enough to explain to me in detail how to get to the room I was looking for. Only issue was that the nurse was missing and I had to wait for her for 5/10 minutes but I wasn’t in a hurry. The location is nice.

I had to be hospitalized in the Ears, Nose and Throat ward (УНГ) of the Pirogov emergency hospital. The team of doctors there have a holistic approach. They not only know what they are doing professionally but also take personal care of a patient and show compassion. A very special thanks to Dr Kaloyan Tchilingirov who learnt my name at the very first check-up and used it throughout my stay, and organized the process in no time. The team at the УНГ ward of Pirogov will make sure that you are released from the hospital as healthy as ever before. Five out of five stars!

I am writing this opinion to share my excellent experience and extremely human treatment I had with Vitosha Orthopedic Hospital and to help other people have better information when making decisions about their treatment.
My mother was admitted for an initial hip replacement. All pre-operative tests are done in the hospital - cardiogram, blood tests, allergy tests, lung scan, etc. Most are done in the patient's room in maximum comfort and without stress, and are done quickly, preparing for surgery on the same day of admission.
The operation is performed without blood transfusion, without general anesthesia, in only 1 hour and 25-30 minutes, with minimal trauma. The very next day my mother could stand on her feet. After the first 6 days after the operation, my mother stayed for an additional 15 days, to be rehabilitated and cared for as well as possible. That is, the hospital offers the full care of the patient until the patient is independent again. One does not have to do anything in addition, for example, to seek rehabilitation separately, or if previously prescribed medication separately, or before admission to do any tests elsewhere, this saves a lot of stress and organization for the patient and his relatives. The hospital specializes only in orthopedics, prosthetics, and the advantages are that they are exceptional professionals in what they do, there is no traffic of a large hospital, all the staff know you as a patient and what your case is. Obviously, because they do just that, they have perfected working methods, technical support and technology over the years that enable successful operations. As a result, my mother does not have the excruciating pain she had before the surgery, which had prevented her from walking. The old hip joint was damaged so that her leg stuck inwards, and when she walked it was 7-8 cm shorter than the other, now after the operation her leg is equal to the other. Everything is only positive and excellent as a result.

We are extremely satisfied, firstly, with the professional attitude of the entire team of Orthopedic Hospital "Vitosha" and secondly, but not least, with the operation itself - knee joint replacement. We replaced my mother's joint in October 2022 at Vitosha Hospital, she recovered extremely quickly, without pain or any problems. For comparison - we changed the other joint in another hospital 10 months earlier, until now there are still complaints of discomfort and pain when standing up, which will probably remain so. I warmly and fully responsibly recommend the hospital. Good luck, health and luck to the whole team!

Disgusting clinic. I needed to put a seal on the front. They made it larger than the neighboring teeth and uniform yellow in color, it was noticeable even from afar. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the doctor said that the filling really turned out to be of poor color, since their clinic specializes in implants, and not in decorative work. When I asked to return the money to me for this bad filling, so that I could do it in another place, they offered me a refund, but after the filling was cut back. That is, I will have to walk with half of the front tooth and wait for another dentist appointment!!

I can strongly recommend this institution to anyone who reads this review. In my experience over the last, say, 60 years with different dentists, dental clinics and even academic dental hospitals in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and Switzerland I must say that this was the best experience ever. To Be honest, I am never really excited to go to the dentist but who is. I think I have been to a dentist a couple of hundred times. Regular maintenance every 6 Months since I was two or three years old and in between for several dozens of emergencies, extractions, corrections and so on. But none of them took such great effort to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable.

Personally, I am extremely disappointed with my 2 visits over the years to Dr. N. Voychev. I received an arrogant attitude. When asking a question more than once because you didn't understand, you end up getting "I told you, how many times do I have to repeat?" in a cracking tone. It does not explain what is being done and why. After placing a tooth filling at home, I find that the caries are not properly cleaned and the tooth is not actually healed, for which I have paid, but in reality it needs to be done again. When making a front tooth with photopolymer, it was not well lit and now it does not fit well aesthetically. Tore down an old seal made by him, described in the card, etc. , and when I told him, he replied, "well, I don't know what was there, but now there is a hole", seriously?
The only good impression is made by his current assistant, who is extremely responsive and kind, and I wish her to keep these traits and bring them to her future work as a dentist. Dr. N. Voychev may have been or is a good dentist with other patients. Maybe the years of practice are already weighing on him or his spark to prove and passion in what he does has diminished. I know one thing, my teething did not happen in a day.
I visited his son 2 years after that comment. A tooth that N. Voichev wanted to pull out, his son fixed it. A tooth that N. Voichev did turned out to have caries because it was not properly cleaned 3rd, upper. Then his son, when he saw my health card and that I had been with them, started to keep this fact quiet. The anterior front tooth, which was not aesthetically pleasing, was properly repaired by his son. Why didn't they do it like that from the beginning, but I actually had to pay twice for 1 tooth. Now I have to fix the third upper one again, because of sloppiness. Apparently, when they hear about additional insurance and … Horror. His son is still more capable

My assessment is for Dr. Voycheva. The other doctors did not treat me. My impressions of her are that she is competent, well-mannered and well-intentioned. I was always put at ease during and after an examination or treatment, and I was left with the feeling that she did an excellent job.
