FOR FOREIGNERS
I had the worst experience at this hospital emergency yesterday. Over 5 hours i waited with 38 degrees fever and pain. The people working at the hospital especially the doctor with her assistant were super racist to me! Whenever i ask for help or try to understand why is the numbers always going with wrong order they didnt give me a proper answer instead they were being super racist and rude to me also they push me to the corridor. I paid around 80 euros because they didnt accept my insurance and it is said to me all doctors can speak in English because it has a foreign department but the doctor forced me to use google translate with a loud voice. They were reprimanding me as if im a kid. This hospital is a huge disaster the woman doctor who is taking care with me was a horrible doctor i had to go back to my country for getting a better health service and she misdiagnosed, not surprised because she didnt even ask for any analysis…Thank god im so much better after the correct medications. If you are tourist please for your own health do NOT visit this hospital…

Although the building itself is old and a bit grungy, the doctors who saw me were very friendly and supportive! I have never had such a positive experience before in an emergency room!

Shocked at the rude behavior of the staff! They kept calling out the wrong ticket number, and then came out and shouted at me for not responding. Talked down at me and made me feel guilty and ashamed for coming in for an urgent prescription that I needed which, apparently, is a "non-emergency," after I willingly waited for over 4 hours. But I'm not registered with a gp yet because of a complicated situation, which they wouldn't care to understand. Moreover they charge you 90 kc in spite of having Czech health insurance. One of the doctors even loudly demanded that I show her the receipt (proof of payment) first and foremost! Had really expected much better than this!

She was scheduled in this facility for arthroscopy of the right knee by MUDr. Lashes. I am a patient with severe sleep apnea / diagnosed according to medical reports on 04/23/. Since I am also being treated for Parkinson's disease, I had with me a recommendation from neurology to perform ASK under epidural anesthesia, which according to the Anesthesiology Questionnaire should be possible in this facility.
MD Nutsosová, who admitted me, wanted a mask for the CPAP machine/ machine for the treatment of sleep apnea/. I received the CPAP device the day before the surgery and did not have time to try it out. According to the anesthesiologist, it would be necessary for postoperative care under general anesthesia. When I informed the doctor about the recommendation from neurology to perform the procedure under epidural anesthesia, she did not answer me. Her behavior was completely unprofessional in other ways as well. She told the anesthesiologist on the phone that I was fat and that I had a nerve stimulator/ I have a neurostimulator for Parkinson's disease/. So I was discharged home with the promise that the same day. the husband will be informed of an alternative date for the operation. This did not happen even the next day after the emergency from my husband, we were told that the alternative date will be communicated to us only on 2/5/23. My loss of trust in this facility is so great that I canceled any alternative date of ASK in Malvazinky. I'd rather arrange the surgery elsewhere.:-(

SKIP THIS PLACE! Hospital with old school doctors who see the need to question you inappropriately and then chastise you for coming in after hours with “nothing major.” The attitude in this hospital reflects a pre 1989 mentality when staff were unaware that ever patient is PRIMARILY a client! Omg! After living in CZ as English speaker for almost 3 years, I finally found the best hospital here. I was here mostly at the cardiology department. Most of the nurses can speak English. Even if they are not, they still try to communicate with you. And ofc, all doctor can speak English. All of them are so patient, nice, and friendly. I was super surprise that I had some chitchat with some nurses during the waiting times. The waiting time is logically make sense. I can simply say, they love their jobs. I can’t recommend anywhere else rather than here :)

I was hospitalized due to gas leak in my apartment, so they gave me oxygen and there were some other procedures. The doctor spoke English well, the nurses did not speak very well but tried their best. They were very nice, smiling, helpful. I am forever thankful

I wish I had seen the review by george v ( the only other non Czech review by the way ) before getting treatment at the Prague Proton Therapy Center. He is correct. They made a mess of my treatment plan to the extent that I ended up spending 5 months in hospital as a consequence of the radiation treatment damage I suffered. I am still suffering the consequences today and deeply regret going there for treatment .

I came on a Wednesday evening (about 7pm) to the emergency department for a urological emergency. I described my problems to the main info desk who spoke good English, and then I spoke the A&E reception who didn't have amazing English, but showing your problems on Google translate is enough. I was seen within about 20 minutes; the doctors both spoke perfect English and performed a needed procedure swifty and on the spot. Special thanks to Dr. Darina Pacigová for her care throughout and kind explanations
I was insured, but the process for NON-INSURED works as follows (I have also gone as uninsured in the past): you go to the main information desk, who then ask for your ID and you will fill out a short form. You pay an administrative fee of CZK 1,500 on the spot, plus a CZK 5,000 deposit for any procedure (like scans, X-rays) done. If the total cost of the procedures is less than 5,000, you get refunded the remainder on the spot upon leaving the hospital - if you pay in cash initially. If you paid by card then you'll need to wait a few weeks for the refund..so better to pay the 5k in cash
(As a rough estimate, a urine test, Ultrasound, and X-ray costed around 2,000). Good luck! A good place for foreigners if you don't speak Czech

I can’t find any words to describe how bad my experience was. Only two people were kind enough to tell us where to go.I won’t even talk about how you do n’t know where to go cuz that’s just horrible. I went to the ER cuz my ear was hurting and the audacity that the nurse and doctor had..oh my goodness. I’m so angry, first when that nurse saw us she looked like she saw a ghost, then she took us to that ER. Then when she found out I had Covid she was like “oh what do you expect? It hurts from that” and I was like ok but still it hurts I need some check up.I wouldn’t be surprised if she was hoping I would go home. She had so much attitude for nothing. Then finally the doctor came and I went in and they were like why come now(4am) when it could wait until morning and I said because it was unbearable at this moment and that’s what ER is for. I swear they laugh at me and said it’s not true. So I would say Volha Tsiatserych isn’t a good doctor and I don’t think that’s the way you approach people. I know they are tired but so am I. She even spilled a cup of water on me and she didn’t even apologize, like common. Yeah she took care of me but it was the worst experience ever. I’m not mentioning any small talks they had about why I was even there.

Old socialist hospital, maze of buildings and departments so make sure you know exactly where you need to be. It looks worse than it is. Exorbitant parking prices and count with 10+ minutes to find a spot. Don't expect any of the staff to speak English. Doctors are fine and I have no complaints to the quality of the healthcare itself. Nurses in general are very arrogant and rude (as always in Czech healthcare, they serve more as administrative force and are overworked, but opening line "what do you want?" just sets you up nicely for what is to come). Waiting times can be terrible, appointment time means nothing (as they themselves like to point out).

stay away from this so called „hospital“!!! inhumane conditions where patients are beaten and forced to take medications without informing them about it. human rights are ignored and patients are suffering from the sadistic stuff. they even cover for each other to hide their sick perversions and continued with their lies when the police came. due to the criminal activities that take place in here it would only be right to close that institution and arrest every single employee who is involved in those sick crimes including the head of the psychiatry.

Very rude staff. Previously I was there twice with my newborn son and it wasn't that bad as the last time, when I went there to traumatologie with my mother-in-low. All the personal is really unfriendly and rude. They said that if we live in Prague 10,then we shouldn't go to FTN,so I hope it's been our last visit there.
P.S. I've been thinking that they're rude towards foreigners, but after reading the feedbacks here,I understood that the same situation with Czech people.

I have high fever, throat inflamation, weakness, body pain and they said that is not an emergency and could not receive me. I should go to a bigger hospital to a nose and throat specialist. I never hear that in my life! When 40 degrees fever is not an emergency??
Detail: the way the woman speak to me was screaming and very rude.

I have been visiting The Clinic for over a year now, and always felt that the patient care was excellent. My dentist, doctor Studeny looks after me and my teeth health. He has carried out various dental procedures over the months, always painlessly and very skilfully, and I have always been very happy with the outcome.
As a consultant, I am very busy and constantly on the road, so I really need a tailor-made service. And I got it. From initial contact over the phone with the front desk, my queries and subsequent appointment was handled efficiently. Dental staff were very professional, communicated well making the whole process as easy as possible.
All The Clinic‘s team is very professional and delivering the best care I‘ve ever known. I would not believe that visiting a dentist can be a very enjoyable experience.
Thank you for your care and great approach.

The Clinic has been recommended by Svět Rovnátek where I had a good experience so I said I'll give it a try.
I had to take out two wisdom teeth, one of which with some complications affecting also the tooth next to it. The procedures were ok-ish; won't blame the doctor for the pains afterward. As I will not debate about the prices; one can choose anytime another clinic if it finds this one too expensive. But, when I decided to pay 9,000 kc for the first extraction I didn't expect to get ripped off shortly after.
First, the doctor emailed me saying that the cost of medication is 1,500 kc but he forgot to mention that he can give me a prescription where the medication was not available over the counter and that I can get the same treatment from any pharmacy for third (1/3) of the price he sold it to me in the clinic.
Secondly, I discussed with him about some other problems I have that needed to be fixed. He said he'll prepare a dental plan. Again, he charged me 2,500 kc!!! for the dental plan saying it takes a lot of work to put it together. Three weeks after when I went to have the stitches removed I still didn't have the plan plus, after he was late for our appointment for 15 minutes and after asking me to go into his office halfway through he asked me to wait a bit more while taking someone else beforehand.
The cherry on top after waiting for 30' past our appointment is the little tantrum Dr. Pražák threw saying he cannot work if I'm upset on him?! which I was given how I was ripped off with two occasions and being left to wait without an excuse or explanation.
I asked him to remove the stitches, give me a fixed term to email the dental plan (that he asked me to pay in advance) and I'll leave. He said I wrongly understood him that he'll email the plan. He started a story that another doctor made the dental plan, he didn't have a copy to handover nor access to an electronic copy. No need to mention that I had the dental plan in my email box 5' after I left the clinic. Six pages out of which 3 with standard information and 1 with pictures of my teeth. No comment...
My conclusion after this experience and with 21,000 kc less in my pocket: if you want to pay a lot of money and additionally, to be ripped off for small services, The Clinic is the place to be. If you want your doctor to get emotional because you're complaining for not being treated fairly, The Clinic is the place to be! Everything with a big smile on everyone's faces.

The first time I came to the clinic the doctor treated my tooth well. That’s why when later I had issue with another tooth I came there again. But unfortunately the doctor who did the procedure (plomb) first time was not working there anymore and I was very unlucky to be treated by another doctor (Kazakov).
First of all no X-ray was done to check my tooth, he just put the plomb. After some time the tooth started to hurt more and more so I came again and he said (after the X-ray) that the nerves should be removed (sealed). He did the procedure. Later on I started to have again issues with the tooth. I had fistula. So obviously I went there again. They tried to open the tooth and roots to treat and re-do the procedure (reseal). It was very long process. There were no necessary instruments to re-open the roots and I had to wait while they were ordering them. Then, finally, when the I nstruments were there they could not reopen the roots, it was painful, no microscope was used (not sure if they have one, at that moment I didn’t know that it should be used in such procedure). Everything was done manually there were no special instruments which are helping to open sealed roots. In the end the doctor has invited another doctor to do this. Somehow they managed to open roots and put medicament and again sealed the roots and tooth.
Unfortunately, I started again to have an issue. The tooth wasn’t hurting but when I touched it I felt some discomfort.
I didn’t want to go to this clinic anymore, as it was obvious that they don’t know what they are doing. I went to another clinic to check. And on X-ray it showed that in my root there was an instrument left by the doctor and it’s started inflammation. And they didn’t even said me that the instrument has broken and it had to be removed. Obviously, they couldn’t do it because they don’t have required equipment and I doubt if they even have experience to do this. But if they would not hide this I would rather go to another clinic straight away and treat it properly. But now after more than one year I have to treat the tooth again. I just hope that now another doctor can save me the tooth. And yes I spent in Artstom ~ 10k, and now I need to spend much more.
I totally agree with all the comments about smoking, rush and that doctor is not sensitive, did not explain anything and even more hid
that I have broken instruments (they were 4 pieces there!) in the tooth.
Definitely, I can’t recommend this clinic after such a terrible experience. Maybe it depends on the doctor but I would not play roulette.
I hope that my comment will help someone and save from such an experience which I was unlucky to have there.

Last summer, we traveled from Croatia to Prague on holiday and unfortunately, even before the trip, problems started: inflammation of a previously treated tooth, which was repaired with antibiotics. During the trip, two more teeth became inflamed.
It was a huge relief when I found out that I could be admitted to the Artstom clinic. Luckily my dentist from Zagreb sent me an ortopan. It took three visits: the endodontic treatment of the necrotic root canal (tooth 5) and extraction (tooth 8); and then the holidays truly began!
I can wholeheartedly recommend the dentists from the clinic, for their professionalism, kindness, excellent communication, cleanliness of the clinic, as well as reasonable prices. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart that they helped me!

I'm already scared of dentist like hell, and her behaviour didn't help at all, it's like she's in a hurry to a party. You have your 30 minutes(including everything) for a tooth extraction, and you even get threatened: "if it's not done in 30 minutes you go out like that and you probably will need a surgery from a different dentist" because they don't perform such services there. Price for such a bad service and behavior is over 3000kc for a tooth extraction. The toothache after the extraction didn't let me sleep for a week, bone was infected because she didn't clean the infection of the tooth, painkillers she gave me didn't do anything so I went back to pharmacy to buy other painkillers on my own which helped way better than the one doctor gave me.
Never again to this place.
I gave 2 points because at least the nurse and the receptionist were behaving very nice.

I had 2 teeth treated at this clinic. One deep caries and the second - the installation of a crown on a decaying tooth. I was very satisfied with the result and the process of treatment. Everything was done very carefully, professionally and with detailed explanations during the treatment. Anastasia is a very professional and attentive doctor, she saved my tooth from nerve removal and extended its life, for which I am very grateful to her))

My experience at Trindadent Dental office was really great! I was nervous because i havent been at a dentist in years.. The receptionist was very friendly and helped calm my nerves a bit already and as soon as i sat down with Dr. Rui Trindadent, and we took a look at my teeth, he explained every step of the procedure, where the damage is, what is urgent and what isnt. He made me feel very welcome and took away my worries with his Expertise. I had a wisdom tooth removed and he knew exactly how to handle it, it was a quick and painless experience. After that he filled two holes, wich was also very quick and painless. I am very happy with the results and I am looking forward to our next appointment!

I can't stress enough how happy I was with my visit at Dr. Rui's office. He extracted two of my wisdom teeth, one of the extractions was a very complicated one and everything went smooth. Everything was explained to me and the staff is generally very friendly. I also recommend Trindadent to everyone who is freaking scared of the dentists (as I am). I felt very comfortable and calm the whole time which is a miracle. Their treatment is professional yet friendly and I am very happy with the result.
