Two weeks ago, I had my upper jaw fitted with 4 dental implants. The feeling is fan-ta-stic. Excellent bite, colour coordinated with my existing teeth and I have already lost the feeling of a foreign body in my mouth. And all this thanks to the precise work of Mr. Ivor Sokolić, dr.med.dent. At the control examination after the installation, he "fraudulently" cleaned the dental calculus on my lower teeth in order to "save the teeth for future work" 😅. I also have nothing but words of praise for the Arena team! What I liked most was the approach to the patient, which was professional and understanding.

Dr Roberto and his team are fantastic, I attend the setubal clinic, I had all on 4, as you imagine having all teeth removed was a stressful time for me, but dr roberto did an amazing painless procedure, I was given my temporary teeth the same day, I’m England based so will be flying out several times more to get my real teeth fitted, I’m more than happy with the smile I have at the moment, I’m confident with dr roberto and his team will give me the best smile, thank you all so much, and see you all soon x

First appointment for implants diagnostic very professional and friendly by Dra. Ana and assistants. The tools for 3D panoramic radio mandatory for accuate and efficient diagnostic are of high quality. The clinic is very clean and i have no doubts about the high academic and practice level of all the staff of the clinic (as usual in Portugal). See you soon for the implant installation.

I would be very careful before allowing this clinic to do any procedures on your teeth. I came for a check up, was told I needed a filling, to which I was very surprised because my teeth were given the all clear 6 months prior. However I decided they must know what they are talking about. After the filling I was in a huge amount of pain for weeks. I came back in and was told I needed a root canal. I seeked advise from 2 other dentists because I thought this was crazy. After more x-rays I was told both times that the inside looked normal but my tooth had been drilled down so much that it resembled the tooth of an 80 year old. I'm 42. The protective layer had been drilled down because I was experiencing pain after the filling and Meditental thought the tooths was touching the top one. It's now 10 months later and I still can't chew properly on my left side. I will have to have the filling taken out, redone and a fake protective layer on top. I'm furious because I didn't actually need a filling in the first place, it was done as a precaution. This was on top of another very expensive procedure that claimed to fix gum disease because I was experiencing pain. After 10 months I'm still experiencing pain and I have now found out that my tooth is moving thus causing pain to the gum area in question, and likely had nothing to do with gum disease. I hate leaving bad reviews, however in this case I feel this clinic treats expats like cash cows instead of being honest about the actual treatment that is needed. The staff are very friendly but in these cases the treatment is questionable. I have since found another dentist in Lisbon who is reliable and honest. If you're doing a big procedure, I would seek alternative advice before going ahead with this clinic.

I was on holiday in Lisbon when I got really nasty toothache and infection which caused my cheek to get swollen, so I contacted the closest dental clinic, in this case - Medidental clinic. They were able to make an appointment later the same day. The staff was very nice and helpful, they all spoke English well and the dentist was really considerate and careful. There was nothing much the dentist could do because of the infection, so she took an x-ray, explained me what is causing the infection, prescribed antibiotics and explained what should I do after. I paid 30 EUR for the visit. The overall experience was pleasant considering I was in pain and very nervous. I definitely recommend this clinic. The antibiotics worked their magic and I got better the next day and was able to fully enjoy the rest of my holiday.

From the very first contact I was impressed with the manner and attention given to my enquiry by the receptionist. Great dentist who was super helpful and explained everything. After a check up, any areas of concern where explained to me and I was given a detailed cost. Fantastic clinic (Alcântara and Campo de Ourique), wonderful staff. Very happy with my experiences and will definiteley return!

Excellent consultation and diagnostic

Lately Dr. Matilde removed my partially impacted wisdom tooth and did a good job because it didn't leave me with a swollen cheek.

Prices are really too much but too high, false savings in Italy you spend more or less the same, from their website they boast that the prices are like in Croatia and it is absolutely a colossal falsehood, for jobs of a certain size it is better to go to Croatia or Albania, I hope it is useful for those who have big jobs to do For emergencies there may be small jobs.

Leaving aside the (not insignificant) issue that they charge 35 euros to give you a quote, the problem is that the cost is higher than in Trieste for the same job and not by a little considering that we are talking about about 10%. It makes me think that these people live on estimates... They attract customers by boasting low prices, then they tell you "yeah but you pay for quality" of course you pay, like everywhere else. I didn't like it and I don't recommend it at all.

Great experience today, had a teeth general cleaning done and the dentist was very professional. Spoke great English, really good prices for a fraction of what I’d pay in Portugal, and the clinic was clean and well decorated. I was able to make a last minute appointment for the next day by sending them a WhatsApp message.

I came away with such a great impression of City Dental! I was recommended to the clinic by a fellow traveler and just wanted to schedule a last-minute cleaning. It was easy to find a day and time that fit with my schedule. They were also nice enough to call me when I was running late and didn't mind that I came an hour late. The dentist I had was a female in the very first room and she was the best dentist I've had in a while. She listened to my concerns, cleaned my teeth, then gave me great suggestions and product recommendations. I felt so heard and was smiling so hard by the end of the visit. I'm sure the doctors are good, but reception is slow inefficient most of the windows are closed and the few people there are are gossiping with each other instead of accepting patients. I went 3hours early to be sure to have my prebooked Cardiology appointment and arrived at the nurses desk at cardiology an hour before as I needed an ECG. The rude nurse laughed at my booking and asked me if I booked it myself. Yes I answered but I need the booked ECG as that's what is writen on the doctors door. She threw my sheet to one side and said we will call you 45minutes later noone called I went to ask her again. She told me to sit down. They the 4nurses were all chatting together and doing nothing.
