1 Dentistry and Oncology clinic in Slough

My Mom has just spent the last week at Parkside Hospital and I have nothing but praise for the hospital and staff. Special mention must be made of Sylvia and Eric, they are amazing. I found all the Staff very friendly and the hospital was lovely and clean, the food was great too. Thank you for making this week so pleasant for all of us.

I am feeling sorry that I am writing this review, but that's exactly how my care experience at Parkside suite was (September 2022). I must say that the single night I had to stay there after my surgery was the poorest care experience I ever had in my life, due to extremely rude nursing staff at the night. As I was shifted at Parkside, the nurse very rudely refused for my family to see me at all since the meeting time was just over. I understood the meeting time thing but shared with her that my husband had brought my three very worried, young kids to see me for 2 min, only because the Post Op nurse herself said they would be allowed to see me after I was shifted at Parkside 'as an exception' (reason because I was expected to go home after my day surgery but was admitted due to pain issue, so Post Op nurse said that this very short meeting would be allowed as an exception), however, the meeting never happened and my kids went back after waiting in the car parking for more than 1.5 hours. Well, at least I saw my husband who reassured the kids that I was fine. After my husband left, I asked the nurse how I could call someone if I needed anything, and she literally threw the bell on my bed. I was shocked!! and worried about spending remaining part of the night while facing such rude behaviour. Later on, when I requested the nurse if she could hold my hand for going to the toilet, she reluctantly did but asked me to hold the IV stand by myself with my other hand. I can't blv how being in the care profession a nurse couldn't understand how much pain a patient possibly can be in, literally within few hours after a surgery and still asking the patient to hold & drag the stand by themselves. All the night the two nurses kept making loud noise in the ward walkway, to the extent that it was hard to sleep at all. Every time, the nurse would come in my room and would take my BP and temp, waking me up but without speaking to me. None of the two nurses who I saw introduced themselves, I myself checked their names. None of the time, anyone asked me if I was in pain or if I needed any pain killer until I myself asked for a pain relief in the morning. The way I was treated made me feel that it was my fault that I was in pain and needed to stay there, so I had to tolerate the attitude. Never expected such an experience straight after a major surgery and while going through extreme pain. The next day staff were nice as well as caring, I got discharged in the evening next day and was so grateful that I didn't need to bear the same attitude again. Please improve the facility. A patient is already in so much pain and expects sympathy and care, not stares and rude attitude. Kind regards

I was an outpatient yesterday at parkside wexham. I just wanted to say how friendly I found everyone and the food was fantastic. The lasagne was the best I have ever tasted anywhere! My only minor complaint would be that I could hear another patient’s TV the whole time, but that would not stop me from highly recommending parkside.

I’ve had a fear of the dentist from a young age but when I met Dr Krishen Shah he completely put my mind at rest and spoke to me in detail about what he thought I should do to correct my smile. He’s a genuine lovely person who puts so much time and effort into his work. I am over the moon with the finished result. I also want to give the up most appreciation for the nurse who worked along side him. I can’t recommend Dr Shah and his team enough.

Dr Kristen Shah is a perfectionist at his work and I’m so grateful for the time he took with my case, which was rather complicated. He removed some bonding I’d had done by another dentist and redid it, and it looks so much better. Thank you Dr Shah! I feel much more confident with my smile now. I’d recommend him if you’re looking for a skilled, kind and understanding dentist

Sarah Bux and her assistant (did not catch her name I’m afraid!) are absolutely wonderful! So welcoming and comforting during the not so nice bits of dental cleaning. They were both so kind today and I was able to ask questions about treatments without feeling rushed or anything. 10/10 experience truly! And I don’t usually review anything😂

Dr Krishen Shah is one of the best dentist! The clinic is super clean and all staff are very friendly, Dr Krishen was very professional and put me at ease, thoroughly explained what he was going to do and the reason for doing the treatment. He consistently checked in with me to see how I was feeling during the treatment and made sure everything was perfect. His eye for detail is incredible and the speed he works at is amazing! Thank you and the entire clinc!!

I have had such a good experience from the clinic and everyone involved. Dr Abeer Shehadeh has done a great job on my teeth (removal of mercury fillings; other stuff) and was also really good at discussing with me what she intended to do. Also the nurses and receptionist looked after me excellently. Thanks to you all.

I recently had my wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Jitesh Patel, and I just had to share my experience. Dr. Patel displayed the utmost professionalism and expertise. He immediately put me at ease, explaining the procedure in detail and ensuring that I understood every step of the process. Throughout the procedure, he continually checked in with me, making sure I was comfortable and addressing any concerns or questions I had. I highly recommend him for any dental or oral surgery needs.

I’ve recently had treatment at Viva Dental with Dr Parminder, and I couldn’t recommend them enough. Very clean, warm welcoming practice . I’m a dental Nurse myself so I’m very particular with my teeth. I done a lot of research before I fount Viva as to who I’d like to do my composite bonding as I wanted a very natural look .I came across their Instagram page and went for a consultation which he mocked up on my teeth how they could look after treatment and I was very happy. I’m even happier with the final results and will be recommending to friends and family 100%!! Thankyou Viva team, looking forward to my 6month check :-)

Rose, the dental hygienist is always friendly, careful and knowledgeable when cleaning my teeth. Jessica, Rose's dental assistant was lovely and approachable. Parminder, my dentist is fabulous as well. I would have no hesitation in recommending them all. Thank you so much, Nicola

After several traumatic visits at many dentists, along came Viva Dental…thank you! Rose, the hygienist, was patient, kind and knowledgable. She cleaned and inspected my teeth gently but thoroughly; she reassured me and eased any anxieties. The staff were friendly, professional and well mannered. The atmosphere felt relaxed and plush. A return visit for sure…Thank you!

I was referred here after breaking an unrepairable front tooth and root and am so pleased I was! Dr. Alex and Dr. Raph and the team did an amazing job… firstly building a temporary ‘implant’ and crown as an emergency to get me to a wedding in Barbados with a smile and then to complete the work with a fantastic implant and crown that matches my other teeth perfectly. Easily the best dentist practice I have ever had to attend. ‘State of the art’ equipment coupled with their skill help create fantastic work. I thoroughly recommend these guys their work is fabulous. Thank you again Alex and Raph… I promise to look after your excellent hard work!

My dentist was Monica. Very knowledgeable of dentistry and dental health promotion. She worked as a team with the dental nurse. The procedure started promptly which is good. Monica was able to explain the procedures before commencing and so I was well informed of what was ahead. Thank you for a job well done. Affordable too. I'm certainly coming back.

The BEST dentist ever. From the moment you walk in to the service, 5 stars are not enough. I decided to embrace the Invisalign process and the whole journey has just been great. I couldn't recommend lion dental enough! Francesca, Chloe and the team have been absolutely amazing! When I first started my Invisalign journey I had no confidence, wouldn't smile in photos, covered my teeth as much as I could. I wanted my teeth straightened ready for my wedding and what a change! Nearly 4 weeks until I get married and Lion Dental have changed not just my smile, but me as a person. I can't thank you all enough ❤️

No one expects to get injured and have surgery however this happens to a lot of us. I'm very grateful for the fantastic treatment, care and attentive guidance from pre to post opp over a span of 12 months. The staff are excellent and took extra care of me, special thanks to Mr Mellor, Omyini and all their teams for turning what has been a physical trauma into a strength. Highly recommended.

I had my surgery at this hospital a week ago, and I had a great experience; from the pre-op assessment, the nurse was fantastic and kind. On the day of the surgery, everything started on time; the room was impeccable, and the staff was kind and attentive. They made me feel safe at every minute, and after my dressings changed, I also received the best care possible from the nurses. I felt so good overall; I got the best surgeon, Mr. Floyd, and this hospital experience at every stage was excellent! Thank you!

A fantastic hospital! I had ACL surgery -all my appointments were on time and all the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Post surgery I have done physio with Gladys Ojugo who has been exceptional. Gladys is always very thorough, and her physio plan for me has been absolutely excellent! Thank you
