The international clients WhatsApp line is the worst I have experienced within the business in Medellin. I was trying to get an appointment for an MRI and responses were just like automatic system that left you for hours with no responses. If you call nobody answers. When finally someone responds your multiple messages, leaves again with no answers. I never expected such a poor service from such a reputable institution. I started around 10:00 AM and at 2:48 PM still wasn't able to get any availability for the appointment. I told them never mind and they respond to that message at 5:35 PM! I understand if the people is to busy, but so that means they need to hire more people for the job.

I paid for an Antigen COVID test and haven't received the results from the examination even as they promised to send them within 3 hours to my email address and provide access on there website! On requests I couldn't reach anyone. Thats fraud and should be a 0 Star Rating!

I had minimally invasive surgery and stayed 4 days. The nurses and doctors were all very friendly and helpful, the hospital and patient rooms were quiet, clean, and smelled fresh. I usually have a hard time sleeping in an unfamiliar place, but the hospital bed was surprisingly soft and comfortable and the nurses gave me something at night so I actually ended up getting the best sleep in years. Evening rounds came in at 10:30 PM and morning was 7:50 AM so my roommate and I got our 8-9 hours sleep and went home rested. Big thank you to all doctors and nurses at Albertinen Krankenhaus.

Came to Notaufnahme with racing heart, palpitations and chest pains with breathing issues. I wasnt sure whether it was serious enough considering how full the hospital was and i felt embarrassed to go. Nevertheless, i was treated warmly and respectfully during my long and expected wait (its an emergency room people, chances are someone is going to be sicker and more needing of help than you!) . The staff were under pressure with so many sick people and i was happy to wait. They found me room to stay overnight as the Cardiac Unit was full, and still i was treated respectfully and with dignity. I too am a foreigner, with questionable German skills but i try and found no racism as other have said. Im now in the cardiac ward and grateful that im being cared for. Still! Thankyou to lovely Notaufnahme Doctor, the Cardiac team, the nurses at 2A and also now up in 6B. Everyone has a sense of humour and are so friendly! The hospital is hit miss like all of NSW Health. The nurses have mental health issues so depending on which nurse you get, either you will receive good care or be subjected to abuse like having your meds not given, information not provided, details not passed to your doctors (who often review remotely so you don’t see them every day). The outsourced food is not relevant to your needs and not replaced with adequate nutrition if you have allergies etc. I saw one new father deliberately kept outside because the nurses didn’t like him then watched them laugh at the struggling new mum who was doing things without support and the nurses just watched, didn’t help her. Same with trying to get information from Doctors, they simply don’t talk to you. The information provided by the nurses is often half-truths designed to placate people not be honest with them.

I don’t know if they will see it but thank you so much to Maddie, Lisa, Eva, Greg, Todd and all of the other overworked nurses and drs who looked after me whose names I didn’t catch or couldn’t remember. I just had my appendix out and it was my first ever hospital visit and everyone was so kind and attentive. I really appreciate how hard you all work. Thank you so much ♥️

They just thought I have nothing important to work with, so just said to visit another doctor. The next day morning another doctor said that I should have come earlier 🫠 I hope they will be treated like they treat other people!

No complaint about medical stuff. They are kind and very professional as always, however woman at reception with red hair at that info point kiosk at entrance is very arrogant and rude not only to us but while i was waiting there same behavior with all other patients.

My attending physician insisted on pressotherapy as part of my course of treatment (I have a venous circulation disorder in the lower extremities). And I am very glad that he insisted on this.
