Despite being old still remains modern and the uplift the management continues to perform shows clearly that they strive to maintain it at top levels. It's is a bit expensive vs. others, and if you are non insured, watch out. We have great service in maternity experience and a bad experience with the orthopaedic. In-patient rooms are big and excellent for accepting visitors. Visiting times are till 7 pm. Nurses are friendly, very professional, and trained well. Receptionists are ok and helpful. Across the hospital, there are a lot of signanges that won't make u feel lost , and you can easily find your way to any department. Insurance is super in terms of follow-ups and confirmations. Coffee shop and bites available on the ground floor along with indoor a d outdoor seating area. The good thing is that there is plenty of waiting area for all departments. This hospital is equipped with the latest technology machines and medical equipment , which brings comfort to patients.

If i can give 5000 stars, I would! My maternity journey was made special with Bahrain Specialist Hospital. From month 1 until my delivery day at week 38, everything was amazing! Doctor Isabel Talay, my OB-GYN was very attentive even to small details as I have GDM and Gestational hypertension. She’s very approachable, well-experienced and compassionate doctor. I am very thankful to her as I delivered my baby thru normal delivery which I thought will be Caesarean section as I was in high risk pregnancy. The nurses are all friendly in OB-GYN department, specially the Filipina named Eva and Indian named Joody. My delivery experience was also superb! I felt less anxious during my labor as the L&D staff and nurses are very helpful and attentive that made my supposed to be painful time turned to be a comfortable one. Big labor room, quiet and clean which made me feel more relaxed. I am very grateful and satisfied with BSH and will recommend to my friends as well, specially doctor Isabel Talay.
