This is my second hip replacement left then the right one , the only thing different this time was the pre opp physio class a couple of weeks before. This I found invaluable as it put my mind at rest and I was able to talk about my fears with a physiotherapist also educated on what exercises are important to recovery. Over all I received an excellent and professional service from all the staff. Great team.

I can’t praise this hospital enough, from arriving at reception to having my operation, all the staff go above and beyond they are all so helpful and friendly, the food is very very good and I was looked after from beginning my treatment to going home. I have always had a bad phobia of hospitals but at this hospital I was put at ease immediately. I am due to have another knee replacement and just hope I can get it done here - Excellent

This was my second treatment. The treatment was very painful and staff in the treatment room were slow to react, despite my verbal communications that got louder. The consultant quickly finished the injection. I only received assistance when I asked some to please raise my knee as I couldn't move and was in pain. Maybe they didn't believe i was in excruciating pain. Last time I had a staff member chatting to me, distracting me. This time there was no friendly chat and no-one next to me. I was embarrassed with the situation and apologised, and although staff began to show concern, I felt it was somewhat delayed. The staff outside the treatment room were very caring, helpful and kind. I was given the after treatment pamphlet but was not told about medication side effects or who to call. It may be because I'd been before but all the same I would have felt better to be reminded.
