Without question one of the best hospitals in North America. Modern, well located and staffed with dedicated professionals. A nutritionist asked me what I wanted for supper! A nurse visited my room every 30 minutes to see if I was all right! My doctor came to my room at 9 PM to verify my status. This is more like a five star hotel than a hospital.

Watch out! Behind its modern look, staff is overworked, nurses don't have appropriate experience, and the service is unreliable. I went there for a common clinical procedure and the video-equipment failed. Still, they charged me twice as much as the initial quote. And this is not the first time I have a bad experience at this hospital. A few months ago I had an MRI there, they had me waiting for hours and in the end the study was not done correctly. I had to go again for a second scan! Think again befor goint to Hospital Faro del Mayab!

Top class hospital with lots of doctor's offices upstairs. Plus there's a frozen yogurt place out front.
