About clinic

We are Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust – proud to bring together the expertise of Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Birmingham Women’s Hospital. Our Trust is the first of its type in the UK, formed in February 2017 to drive forward our commitment to providing the highest quality, world-class care that women, children and families want, and deserve. Uniting our hospitals means more seamless care; more investment to make greater advances in our specialist treatment and world-leading neo-natal and fetal work. Importantly, it also gives us a greater voice in shaping the future of family-centred care.

I tried visiting this museum on multiple occasions, but as soon as I got to the critically acclaimed ward 7, some lady tried to kick me out. The special "Paediatric Surgery" exhibit was spectacular, but when I got to the Café and Gift Shop, I was more than disappointed. All the drinks came in clear bags on hooks, and the overpriced souvenirs were all crying their eyes out. Though the actual collections were good, my Tax-beneficial husband and I were overall disappointed.

I had to take my son into the Surgery Day Care dept. The Nurses were great and the plastic surgeon was very knowledgeable and easy to approach, he (Ramesh Vidyadharan) put my child at ease and explained everything to us clearly.

Terrible. FXXXING terrible. I came with my son who was struggling to breathe at 8pm. My son is 9 months. First they made me wait 3 hours in the main area when I told them he is not breathing properly. Then they moved me to another section and made me wait another hour. When I asked how long they kept telling me they don’t know. If they don’t know who does???!! They just sitting there talking about life rather than looking at my son. 12:30 decided to leave and go to a private hospital. Never again.
