It's a crazy-making encounter. My head was attacked by chemical causing a small wound, the young female doctor misdiagnosed saying there was no wound. I was surprised because it was very painful in that specific area. When I told her I had been attacked 3 times, she said there was an old scar. No new wound. Then the senior doctor confirmed there was no wound but she didn't check my head, she got CT Scan and blood test for me after I told them I was worried about brain damage. While they said the scan seemed only discoloured area in my brain, they arranged a psychiatrist and nurse to talk to me for an hour. Under the reason I was homeless and no money, the psychiatric nurse said they offered me to stay in mental health hospital or community mental health centre. I refused and felt they had already made the decision before they met me, they just tried to find contradictory words from me to give reasons when writing report. Then they let me stayed in the hospital overnight, every nurse told me doctor would come to see me but no doctor saw me for 13 hours. Instead they said they had arranged social worker but I said early on I didn't needed social worker. No doctor showed and explained to me about the brain scan or blood test. It's like they didn't need to tell me my situation. They put me in different people's hands without my consent because I'm homeless. But my homeless is caused by no work permission and no NGO support. It's not I want to stay outside. I found the wound I mentioned to the doctor had blood stain after I left the hospital, apparently she told lie ! If not the young female doctor in ER was in corruption, she was insane. Otherwise, she and the psychiatrc nurse discriminated homeless people as mental illness or they were racism. When I asked to leave the hospital, a nurse asked me, "Cynthia, are you going back to Hong Kong ?" I am an asylum seeker escaping from HK to find protection here. I'm not sure if they think I came here to use their resources or not. I can go to other safe country if Australian people do not align with humanity policy as their government promise in international community. I've no problem. But for any reason even in war zone, treating patient with professionalism including your enemies should be the basic ethic in the healthcare world. Now I'm really worried about they say I hurt myself in order to complain about them. Updated on 4th July 2023: As I went back ER to ask why there was blood bleeding from my head, nursesand doctors started using the word 'Scratching', they implied I scratched the my head to get that wound bleeding! It's totally defamation under the sun. As they introduced the word 'Scratching' under no evidence, the first female doctor who misdiagnosed me can free from blame. The level of integrity is that low and they loss conscience, I suggest you all keep health and give no chance to ER of Perth. Good luck !!

I was admitted to the trauma unit following a car accident. The care and attention I received was fantastic. All the staff were professional, efficient, knowledgeable, worked well as a team, were all very caring, from the doctors to the ancillary staff. I could not have been in a better place. I was just thankful my injuries were not as severe as they could have been. Thank you to everyone involved in my care

I was hit by a car on Wednesday whilst riding my scooter home from TAFE and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for emergency by ambulance. I want to thank all the paramedics, nurses and doctors who looked after me and did every possible test to make sure my bones and internal organs were not affected by the collision. I stayed there from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m. the next day and was discharged after confirmation. I only had muscle injuries and was able to return home safely. Thank you so much for all the support and kidness ❤️
