Parking.. Hectic
Reception takes over an hour to just register and pay. Then waiting for triage is another headache. The only smooth part is being at the Doctor's office. Which takes WAAAY less time than everywhere else btw. Then the pharmacy is the absolute ghetto to say the least. That system is definitely NOT WORKING. Only reason I come back is because the Doctors are amazing. The 3 star is solely for the Doctors. If you're planning to go there, just clear your calendar for the day.

This used to be a very great patient-centered hospital. Today the hospital has joined the bandwagon of substandard business healthcare providers. Why?
1. Why is the hospital charging fresh consultation on lab results review and medication?
2. How can you wait in line for over one hour for billing when you are barely 3 people online?

I got the best services. The environment is also serene, you won't even realize that you're in a hospital. I felt at home here. I was attended to without an appointment.

We was waiting in the 4th floor clinic to pay, for more than one hour. The staff told us that the person responsible for the payment is downstairs and he will come later ( 1 hour !!)

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!
I gave birth in this clinic since this is what my doctor recommended and work with, the receptionists weren’t so bad but the whole experience was terrible, when I got to the room, they were probably giving some students to practice on me and put the IV needle in my hand, they tried like 4 times and that was so painful ( I still have one of the scars until now on my hand ).
And when they took me to the surgery room, the anesthesiologist though it’s not a good place to put the IV and he took it off roughly and put it somewhere else, and when he was putting it I reacted with my face ( I closed my eyes and pressed on them ) and he was like " you are not brave at all ". He was putting a needle in my hand and he wants me to not feel anything. And even how he was talking to the team and all he was so rude, he was too harsh with me until I told one of the nurses I think, and she told me " don’t worry you are with us ".
So after I delivered the baby, they didn’t even give her to me ( not talking about the surgery room ). They put the newborns in the hallway and they don’t even have a room for them and I don’t like that.
After that, they brought her and they come check on me sometimes, but they didn’t even help me with the baby, ( unless giving her some milk or changing sometimes ).
So when we left ( I was having a C-section ) and my husband took the bill and our luggage to go pay, the manager told him no you go take her (me) back to the room and you pay, then she can go home ( and she saw how I barely move my legs, I was in pain not even able to walk properly and one step was already too much for me ). So I went back until he paid and left again.
After few day, my hand start swollen, I went to the doctor, he told me this is a INFECTION from the IV needle that they left in my hand and didn’t take it off.
Anyway, I do not recommend it to anyone I know or don’t know, that was horrible and I’ll never put my feet there again.

A bad nurses behavior even not a smile, not organized at all and in several departments which i deal with, as for the out patients clinics, internal admissions process- their policies are not clear- tr wrong directions as a patient you do not know your responsibilities , or your right they do not gave any medical expectations or procedural- by the way i did a surgery and this is another story to told- for nursing which is a disaster- as a one day surgery- the nurse came holding in her hand all of medications and stuff for doing blood analysis without a tray or gloves - for the operation procedure normally in any respecting hospitals- they always gave scrub - the nurse came at my room which had the number 124 - through the scrub ( in a package which a least something good) on the trash can and told to wear this ?! My way to the operation room is another comic story of none nursing medical procedure behavior- very bad experience- not recommend

Saudi German hospital is like a Chinese car which looks good on the outside and hollow on the inside.
Orthopedic doctors are seemingly one of the worse departments in Cairo hospitals, very low standards, although the mighty tone, over confidence, ignorance is spread like soft butter on a toast.
Not recommended unless you wanna stay in a hotel like hospital but with butchers as your medics.

I lost my grandpa who was the closest person to me in the ER, doctors are oblivious and ignorant, online it says to admit people with aneurysms to an OR asap yet my grandpa was in the ER for three hours and died there, i saw the doctors walking around fast having phone calls, what looked like they were freaking out because there is no surgeon or an available OR.
Its so bad to lose someone like this. I am not mad at the hospital only but at this country. We paid 12k after with insurance covering 40%, so it’s about 20k.
They spent one hour doing blood tests and another trying to measure his blood pressure because they didn’t trust their equipment, basically i can say if you have any serious emergency don’t go there, unless you don’t care about coming out.
A side note google maps shouldn’t be where we post hospital reviews. But what can we do anyway in this country. It’s a lost cause.

As an Amerivan medical professional, I was in need of Emergency services. I had visited this hospital in the past so I chose to come here. Ultimately, I was admitted for surgery, which was scary being in foreign facility. But let me tell you something, the staff are AMAZING here. They ensured all my needs were met at all times, and even took the time to answer all my questions. Most do speak English.. The building is clean and the rooms are nice. A complete surprise was the food, it was high quality traditional Egyptian meals. I will recommend this facility to any family or friends who come to visit. I want to thank all the staff who cared for me, you truly are amazing people. May God bless your lives abundantly.

Worst experience of my life. Nurses not only asked but forced baksheesh from us. Doctor was over 1 hour late, but they had 12 clients booked for thr same procedure at the same time. I didn't have a consultation pre procedure, I never met the doctor doing the procedure. The nurses asking about my medical history couldn't speak English so I prayed that the procedure, which as u der anesthesia would be OK. After the procedure they informed me I owed double the amount because calculations were wrong, the doctor didn't come in to see if I was OK, he sent his minion. For an International Hospital and supposedly a good one, I have had better patient care and doctor service at a local hospital. For the price of this experience I was highly disappointed

Worst service in a hospital ever. The hospital has a great brand name for what it one day used to resemble. Now, they just operate through that brand name not the actual service, care or help.
You pay for an obligatory profile creation!!! EVEN IF you have had a profile created for you in the other "Nasr City" branch!!! "Because we share the same name but different management" -as the customer service agent said.
You will always have to wait prolonged periods of times, whether you're in for an inpatient clinic, or even to enter the EMERGENCY room!! Heck! You even have to take a number to get through to the FRONT DESK!!!
Unorganized staff, no customer care whatsoever, Worst nursing staff ever. And I'm pretty sure they teach all their staff how to frown in front of clients and patients.
I also have been looking into their replies on the poor reviews here, they ask people to send their contact info. BUT NOT INCLUDING A CONTACT METHOD!
How can any one "Send you" their info, without knowing where to send it or to whom?!
I hate it there.

Went into the ER at about 00:40 this morning with severe period cramps. It was so bad that I was shaking. The nurses were really kind but the doctor that saw to me was quite rude telling me “this isn’t an emergency”. We come to hospitals because there is something wrong and we don’t know what to do. As a young woman I felt very uncomfortable having a man tell me that MY cramps weren’t an emergency when he could clearly see I was in pain. He also made my boyfriend wait outside the room but asked me the exact same questions the nurse did - who allowed my boyfriend to stay in the consult room with me. I will never go back it was quite a disappointment especially since most Mediclinics are very good and have kind staff. The only thing that made me feel somewhat at ease was the nurses were very kind to me and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable.

The most greedy hospital I have ever been to. I don't think that there is a more expensive hospital in the world! I was admitted for 1x day at Sandton Mediclinic while my son was admitted the same time, in a Life hospital. Mediclinic charged my medical aid 4.2 times more than what Life charged and my son was in hospital for a day more than me. Do you guys want to become rich overnight, how far does your greed stretch?

I had an exceptional experience at Sandton Mediclinic. I can only send a huge thank you to all the staff from the administrators to the health care workers for going above and beyond to make my stay so comfortable and pleasant at a time when I both needed surgery and I was struggling with my mental health. The admission process was seemless. I had an excellent radiology team and two world-class surgeons who took the time to answer all my questions and advocate for me. The nursing staff was attentive, kind and experienced; the cleaning staff friendly and efficient. Overall, I am just so grateful to everyone at Sandton Mediclinic who ensured I had the best possible care for my physical and mental health.

I'm so grateful that we could have medical cover for my 95 year old Mom to be treated her. Your nursing staff are amazing, empathetic people. So grateful you took care of her when she was so out of her comfort zone. So grateful that you managed me with such grace when i was stress and demanding. You understood to the Doctors, you were amazing too. thank you. My Mom is home.

I went for my pre admission on Tuesday and received excellent service from Sister Cleo Hendricks and Admin supervisor Kirwin. I went to Busamed in Strand last year in July and they need to learn about quality service from these two individuals! Well done and many thanks!

Worst experience ever I have ever had at a hospital with admin staff. I went into labour a month before my due date. While in active labour the hospital kept on pulling my husband out of the room for payment!!! Our first child, 12 midnight on a Saturday, early labour, stressing so much about our child and all these people care about is money. Wanted full payment 12 midnight while I was in labour. Pathetic service from admin staff. I mean God forbid they waited until Monday morning. As if I had control over the whole experience.
Such a pity, nurses and doctors are amazing. But the hospital admin staff has zero tact or empathy.
Cherry on the cake, when it came time to be discharged and make final payment for my baby who had to stay an extra few days, the finance lady was on lunch and we were told....oh its ok...you can pay LATER!!!
Will 100% without a doubt never in my life go back there again.

I had a septoplasty done by wonderful Dr Nathanie Naude who is a caring professional. The anaesthetist who assisted her was also very engaging, so was the nurse in the operating theatre.
The nurses in the Day Clinic S-ward were unfriendly from the time I entered the ward- a smile is clearly a rarity. Talked to each other in my room as well as when moving me to the theatre waiting area- I was already anxious, their clear disregard for me exacerbated this.
Upon my return to the ward, I had to get the nurse’s attention to ask for something to drink. She had looked in my room and walked right past twice after I woke up before I got her attention, without entering to ask if I was okay or needed anything. Brought me my sandwich and told me she would be back to remove my drip. Almost an hour later, and she still hadn’t returned.
I pressed the call button, and the other nurse came hobbling into the room on her sprained ankle which she said she had hurt a week ago- how would she respond in an emergency? She removed my drip and I asked her if I could use the toilet. She said yes and left- didn’t assess whether I was okay to walk to the toilet which was on the other side of the ward or ask me how I was doing.
The first nurse returned much later and gave me a nose pad to absorb the bleeding- she said I must twist it around to the front if the one side has blood on it until I’ve used the entire area!
The nurse in charge was friendly during discharge, but she could not make up for the overall experience.
Durbanville Mediclinic your nursing staff’s behaviour is shameful. Nurses in understaffed state hospitals show more care. It seems that the bar is set very low for the nurses you employ - they are nonchalant about their duties, lazy and clearly there to simply earn a salary. Nurses are synonymous with nuturing- this was sorely lacking in my experience today. I have had experiences at other Mediclinic hospitals- this Day Clinic was a huge disappointment.

Hi, to be honest, I really want to express special thanks to Mr. Islam Ibrahim, the Office of Preparation and Approval for his help and support for me in the procedures, seriously very supportive and helpful
Whenever I needed something, he helped me with it, so seriously, thank you that you are still hiring a professional person like this, with a smiling face, and his treatment is very nice with the patient. He is not a violent person or bothers you from the place. On the contrary, he is a very comfortable person. Talking to him is comfortable.
so seriously, a very special thank you to Professor Islam Ibrahim, the Office of Preparation and Approval 💙💙
