Never again!
I took my girlfriend to this hospital because she was having strong abdominal pains on 07/02/21. The two doctors were recent graduates v. inexperienced. One of them actually told me that Coca-Cola was a good drink for hidration!!!
Today we spent most of our day worrying that we may have contracted Covid seen as one in every 5 staff members were either not wearing a mask or wearing them inappropriately. We had complained to the night manager, who didn't care less!
To pay for the treatment they tell you to go to talk to a manager in his glass office. This guy not only charged us 5000 Reais which is an obscene amount, but had zero empathy or people skills.
And to think that the doctor actually wanted her to stay overnight, probably to be able to bill me ten times as much!!!
This hospital has some serious issues.

Everything was excellent, from the operating team (special thanks to the amazing doctor Alexandre Santa Cruz, the best orthopedic surgeon there is!!!) until the nursing staff (impeccable and extremely professional, available and kind), the cleaning service (very effective) to the food!!!! (I never ate so well in a hospital!!!). The medical and customer care are so good that you enjoy being there and feel extremely safe and protected until you are ready to return home! Congratulations to all parties!!! I fully recommend this hospital!

I was in the emergency room on Monday 01/17 at night.
Although few people when I arrived, the mess was widespread.
Dirty and cramped medication rooms. Employees' cell phone ringing during work hours. Delay in service and lack of information. Many employees with part of the uniform.
I have been going to the hospital for over 20 years and the situation has never been worse.

I had a surgical procedure and stayed at BLOCO E and was assisted at the admission reception by Maurício, who explained everything about how the hospital works and how my stay would be. Great service.
To get to the block, very well signposted on the ground.
Nursing team on the 7th floor, very attentive: Fabiana, Valéria, Beatriz and Alex.
The room is very comfortable, with a sofa bed for accompaniment and the differential is a balcony with blinds that work by automation.
Still in the room, they have a digital safe, minibar (not stocked) and television with a network of paid channels such as HBO, Telecine, in addition to a board with all the information on the patient and the care team.
Bathroom equipped with safety bars and bath chair.
Super recommended.
Appropriate meals, according to the type of diet. I requested an extra meal during the night, as I had not had dinner after the procedure, and I was attended to, without any problems.
I came back to edit the review, because today, after 24 days after performing the surgical procedure, I received a billing email stating that I was overdue with payment. I found it strange, since I was hospitalized for coverage by my health plan, so it was not a private hospitalization.
At the admission reception, we are handed several papers for signature, including some pages of items that, according to the attendant, some plans do not cover. Values from absorbent to other items. Products with symbolic values from R$ 0.09 to much higher values.
Among all the papers, to finalize the entry into your hospitalization, you must sign all of them.
Behold, when I received the return of the e-mail from the billing area of the Hospital, which I questioned what it was about, I was informed only today, after questioning, that my plan did not offer coverage for leg R$ 674.72 + anti sock thrombus R$ 224.00 + blue magnetized box with needle counter R$ 0.01 (yes, charge of R$ 0.01 one cent of a real), totaling R$ 898.73.
At no time were we informed that my plan did not offer coverage for these items, much less did they go to the room to talk to my companion or much less at hospital discharge did the nurse or anyone else communicate with us about such charges.
Ok, the plan does not offer coverage for any item, but the Hospital has an obligation to inform the patient in advance of the billing.
The amounts they are charging me are relatively “low”, as they are just two items, but there could be a few more digits and there could be other items that the plan would not cover and would simply be taken by surprise with a charge for something that I was not informed.
I was disappointed with the communication from the hospital, which until then, I had found everything wonderful and had rated it as a 5, because of that, it dropped to a 3.

I have been here several times, but today seems to be the time that this hospital's ER is the least prepared. Having passed through covid season peak now the hospital seems not being able to cope with the current influenza surge. The expected waiting time for a clinic evaluation, not considering possible needed exams or medications is of 4 hours! Seems that there is no medical staff at all right now. However the nursing and administrative staff are whatever possible. Hope somehow they can cope better with this seasonal flu...

Like many reports here, there is no way to give this hospital any stars. My son was seen in the emergency room on April 4 with chest pains. He had blood tests, X-rays and later a CT scan because the cardiologist could not find where the information was. Medicated and hospitalized. The next day, the 5th, I went to the hospital to be with a companion, and during the time I was there there wasn't even a doctor to go see him, ask how he was feeling or inform
about your case.
I was outraged by the lack of information and neglect and I went to the medical center to ask if the doctor would pay him a visit and the nurse's answer was that the doctors came by in the morning and in the afternoon. Around 4 pm and after I complained to Dr. Thaísa went to the room and talked to him, but she couldn't say what was happening to him, only that they were "suspecting" myocarditis and she didn't say anything else. Around 5 pm we went to the medical center again to ask questions and Dr. Thaísa informed that they had not found anything in the tomography and that neither in the lungs (according to her, the lung), there was no alteration and that they would do an MRI. I was very irritated by having to charge the doctors for a position, since it is their obligation to inform a patient or family of their diagnosis and they were medicating without knowing for sure what the problem was.
The resonance was scheduled because I fought so much, one day for a blood test, X-ray, tomography and another day for another blood test and tomography. As I said to the doctor, this treatment is even acceptable in the SUS, but in a private hospital that carries a weighty name, it is unacceptable.
He spent another night in the hospital not knowing what he had. The next day, April 6th, I arrived at the hospital around 12:00 and all hell broke loose at the reception. I am disabled and I use a cane to get around and when I arrived the receptionist was looking for something in a notebook, I think the person forgot something in the room and went to look for it. The receptionist didn't even look at my face even though I told her good morning, I stayed up for 5 minutes until I asked her to release me to go up to the room because I had a cane and I had been standing for some time and then she would continue to look for it, the answer was for me to wait because she was helping the woman and then she would help me. There are no chairs at reception and I stood for another 5 minutes until she finished what she was doing and not happy she threw my document and badge on the counter.
I got to the room and my son was in the MRI. Soon after, Dr. Iven went to talk to us and said that he really had myocarditis but it wasn't serious and that one of his lungs was also inflamed, contrary to what Dr Thaísa said. 4 people passed by the bed next to my son and left quickly. The last patient in the next bed was a physiotherapist and the husband of a physiotherapist at the hospital who seemed to be dancing samba in a bar. If those who should set an example don't have the slightest composure, imagine the rest? The cleaning staff without the slightest ceremony, they speak loudly, talk on the cell phone, noise of messages like I don't care. In the end, the only things are the food and the nurses Amanda and Claudemir who had empathy with us. To be bad you still need to improve.

I arrived at 7:50 for my 8:15 appointment with the dermatologist. It was 9:00 and no one called me. When I asked why, it was because they had forgotten to let me know that I had arrived. The 9:15 customer was being served at 9:00 and I was still waiting. This happened on the 2nd floor with the receptionist Fernanda when I was going to visit the dermatologist. Total lack of respect for the patient, I was late at work for the appointment, I arrived half an hour before the scheduled time and was seen more than 1 hour late because they forgot about me. And if I hadn't gotten up to ask what time I would be attended to, I would simply have spent the day waiting without anyone saying anything. Willingness to come back here is zero!! It's not the first time I've been treated badly.

I arrived to be attended with a positive diagnosis for covid!
The hospital is cramming people with respiratory symptoms into a room (diagnosed or not) and leaving everyone waiting for more than 2 hours.
When we questioned it the receptionist says it's not her problem and she can't do anything.
People in urgency getting worse and nobody does anything! No wonder this hospital is rated SO BAD!
I'm low on urgency despite having significant symptoms, I understand. But, if I'm not sick enough to need hospital attention (even though I've been referred by the plan's medical team) I'd rather be sick at home where I don't contaminate anyone than being huddled in a hospital.
TOTAL DISRESPECT!

I performed a bilateral mastectomy at BP Mirante in September/2022. I've Googled the reviews here before and got a little apprehensive due to some negative reviews. The truth is that there will be good experiences and others not so much, even because there are many boring people in the world too =p.
My experience was incredible! Unlike other people, we were sent (me and my accompanying brother) to a room until my surgery was released and I can report the excellent structure, I loved the balcony in my room

My sister-in-law has CELIAC DISEASE underwent a procedure with anesthesia and had to fast for 8 hours + 1 hour delay in the exam + 1 hour and 15 minutes of procedure + 2 hours of observation. Ie,
when she returned, she needed to eat to our surprise the Hospital HAD NOTHING TO OFFER GLUTEN-FREE FOR CELIACONS. They only gave her a hot apple maguary juice (awful) she made her sick from the procedure, it got worse. The nurses and staff did not even know about the disease and the food restriction related to Celiac Disease (which is not their fault) but the hospital did not train and guide the staff. Absurd!!!
They said that the restaurant was outsourced, that is, trying to pass the problem on.
The restaurant is INSIDE the hospital dependencies as the ONLY OPTION.
And there is also NOTHING WITHOUT GLUTEN FOR THOSE WHO HAVE CELIAC DISEASE.
Where the food has to be prepared in a place EXCLUSIVELY FOR CELIACS, or acquired by exclusive suppliers. As in Fleury, for example, to NOT HAVE CROSS CONTAMINATION with foods with gluten.
The contempt for the fact was when they came to tell me that the restaurant had scrambled eggs.
Eggs don't have GLUTEN, but the utensils and the kitchen HAVE A LOT. In other words, putting the health of the sister-in-law at risk within the hospital itself.
And again if the restaurant they allow within the hospital space does not have food suitable for Celiacs. The responsibility is in any case ENTIRELY WITH THE HOSPITAL.

There are 40 minutes waiting to be released to visit my 76-year-old father. The reading provides for a 24-hour companion for the elderly. It seems that the law does not apply here. Nobody tells me what's going on. No one answer the phone. So let's go.

My experience has been bad.
I brought my sister with severe dizziness and vomiting, and she was attended to by Dr. Gabriela Mendia Gandarilac.
Despite being warned that she was vomiting a lot, she was prescribed an 8mg Labirin pill which my sister obviously threw up.
I went to talk to the Dr and she said she would make another prescription. After 40 minutes, and without such prescription being made, I was informed that she had just passed the case on to Dr Carla Goncalves Dias.
I looked for Dr Carla (whose treatment with me was quite rude) and she, although she had no patient, told me to wait and she would call me.
Haven't called yet...
Here I am… with my sick sister, inside the ER for more than 3 hours and without effective care.
I know that Santa Paula was an excellent hospital and I have always recommended it to my followers. I don't know if it has anything to do with its recent acquisition by another hospital group, but the service is nowhere near what it used to be.
To those who come to read this report, I recommend that they look for another hospital; at some point the philosophy of patient focus and mission got lost…
These were the foundations that made it possible for doctors to know what was expected of them... it was the effective humanized care to the patient understood and practiced by all.
It is by the foundations that we know the construction and when they collapse, it is the beginning of the end.
For patients or companions who are poorly attended, standardized answers are of no use; Validation of what is reported and reversal of the accelerated decline is required.
Ps. The 2 stars I gave refer to the flow controllers and the medication team, very kind and helpful professionals, but who can do little without the doctors doing their part.
It is now 1:46 pm, on 03/16/2023; again they gave my sister a pill, solemnly ignoring the fact that she keeps throwing up…
What do the doctors think? And the laity? Is a pill for someone who is vomiting good practice?
Think about it…
Yours sincerely,
Julia Barrialess

Medical care was much better. Lately the delay is gigantic, you can't see a doctor if you don't wait at least 2 hours. And this time is after going through the triage and filling out the form... The lack of doctors available for care in the ER is absurd.

We arrived at Sabará and already at the entrance we were approached by the valets who were very polite, right at the reception we were extremely well received by Gabriel who helped to calm our son and also by the other very kind attendant. The security guard was very courteous and polite, not only opening the way, but also opening a smile, directing us with all calm and politeness to the place to make the form. We reached the second floor where we again asked for information and were promptly attended to. Then, when filling out the form before the exam, the two attendants were very friendly, including one of them preparing drawing kits and crayons bought by herself to give to the children and my son also won. We arrived at the exam room, where we were once again very well received, informed and calmed down, as they treated our son with love and dignity, calming down especially my wife who was anxiously accompanying him full time. The staff made my son feel at ease and the environment here was prepared and developed for children...where the room looks like a giant aquarium and the dreaded machine looks like a submarine...that is, everything is in sync. Everyone around here seems to know exactly what they came to do and they do it with love in their eyes. We are very grateful to God for blessing us with this extremely prepared place for this exam (MRI) and also grateful to the company where I work, for blessing us with such a good agreement. Before anything else or complain, I want to praise the super helpful reception staff, the 2 stars are for them because I would give 10 but I would give *0* to the doctor I saw on duty today, in short, I stopped by the Ipiranga unit in the orthopedics emergency room at 6 pm :30 on 01/05/2023 a super rude doctor on duty attended to me because my left hand was hurting below the indicator since early on , I am allergic to AAS Sodium dipyrone, Ibubrophene and non-hormonal anti-inflammatory drugs that had already been mentioned in the screening and also Identified with the red allergy bracelet that I believe would be for the doctor to pay attention to something that the doctor did not notice, and even so the doctor wanted to medicate me with anti-flamatory. I sent it to the doctor and she said the following: "It gets difficult". I asked about the need for an X-ray on the hand, she said that there would be no need and said if the pain persisted at the site for me to go to a clinic specializing in orthopedics. In short, I didn't understand what I was doing at your hospital, the only thing I was sure of was that I was very irritated, unhappy with the terrible and rude service of the doctor, and detail she had her mask down the whole time. Reaffirming that the reception staff were super helpful from the beginning of the service until the moment I opened the written complaint at the reception that I could barely express myself because I was so angry. I only come back to this hospital really in an extreme case.

I want to start by saying that, if it were possible, I would do the review without giving even 1 star.
It is not today that I realize the decadence in which this hospital finds itself, however, with each visit, it is getting worse.
The day before yesterday, on the day (02/11/2022), I went to the same one because I had been feeling very ill since the morning.
Upon arrival, I went through the screening, reception and consultation — which I have nothing to complain about, as they were extremely helpful professionals — but my problem (as always, by the way) started in the medication room.
As I settled into the chair, the nursing technician came to talk to me to inform and administer the medication, however, she came to me super rude, without even saying her name. He confirmed my data and, when he found my vein, he put the needle in everything - to the point of making me scream in pain and ask to apply it to the other arm.
I then asked if she could get a finer needle, but I think it was even worse. I felt even more pain, but it worked and she administered the medication.
Before the medication runs out, Dr. had already passed and talked to me to see how I was doing. As he was still in a lot of pain, he said he would administer another medication and did so.
When the first measurement was over, I tried—unsuccessfully—to call the professional to exchange the empty container for a full one.
I waited more than 15 minutes until another patient arrived and could ask the technician who was medicating this same patient to administer the new medication. After a few minutes, he came back with the same.
After some time, I noticed that the medication was not going down and I spent a few more minutes calling someone, until the cleaning lady who was in the room answered my request and called the 'professional' who initially attended to me.
She came, opened the medication and returned to her post to talk to the other colleagues.
The Doctor. passed again and discharged me, but I was only able to leave after almost 1 HOUR of the doctor's last visit because I was completely ignored and my mother had to look for me inside the medication room.
A total disregard for the patient who is already in a vulnerable state and in a lot of pain.
If possible, stay AWAY from this 'hospital' 😉

Terrible service. Completely disorganized, does care at all about their patients. I was begging them for help in resolving a billing issue and every department just ignored me. Do not go to this hospital.
I went to this hospital to get an outpatient procedure done which required that I have an attendant with me. The hospital organized for an attendant to be provided, at a fee, from an outside company. On the day of the procedure I was brought to the billing department by member of their "concierge" team, Fernanda. They have an international "concierge" service which basically provides translators so that you can navigate the hospital if your Portugues is not great. At the billing office I was presented with a bill for the cost of the procedure. I agreed to pay it and was then given a credit card machine to make the payment. When the machine arrived, the amount they were requesting was higher than the quoted amount. When I asked Fernanda, she explained that the additional amount was for the cost of the attendant. I paid the invoice and was only provided with a little slip of paper that showed the amount that I had paid. It didn't say what services I had paid for, just that I had paid a certain amount. I then went and got the procedure done. I was put-under, so I don't know how the actual medical procedure went, but from what I saw before I went under, the medical professionals seemed like they were doing a good job. After the procedure was finished, I was brought to the payment office and presented with a new bill. The bill included the additional cost of part of the procedure, the cost to have a biopsy analyzed and the cost of the attendant (which I already paid for). For the next 3 weeks I was going back and forth with the International department, the complaints department and the billing department, trying to get them to acknowledge the fact that I had already paid for the attendant. No one from any of those departments did a single thing to try to help me. Each department passed me off to another department. The complaints department didn't even reply to my complaint. I had to call them up weeks after I had filed a complaint and they were fully aware of the situation, but didn't have enough respect to let me know that they were working on my case or bother to email or call me to help get it resolved. Neither did the International department. When I asked them to help me resolve the issue they just said "this is not my department, I don't know anything about billing" even though FERNANDA was there and was the one that explained to me that I was paying for the the price of the attendant. The billing department just kept sending me the same invoice over and over again and never acknowledging that I had paid for the attendant. It was only when I finally decided to go to the hospital and pay the bill that anything got done. I had to physically go to the International department and demand that they resolve the issue that instant. I spent another 2 hours going to different departments with the "concierge" lady, getting into arguments and explaining over and over what had happened. It was only then, that they acknowledged that the woman who processed my payment allocated the entire amount to the cost of the procedure, which was why this bill for the attendant was still outstanding. At my insistence they finally removed the charge and I was able to pay the invoice. If you go to a Brazilain Hospital, make sure that you get an itemized invoice for every single payment that you make. A little slip of paper with the amount on it is not enough. They will change the amount that you owe them and you have no proof of what you have already paid for. At the end of the day, I probably wasted about 4-5 hours of my time writing emails, sending messages on Whatsapp and arguing with the staff at the hospital. Not to mention all of the frustration it caused. This could have been resolved after 1 email, had anyone at the hospital taken ownership of the problem and been accountable. DO NOT GO HERE - THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS

Clean hospital. But extremely expensive. They didn't inform us of the costs and we had to pay 10 times of than other european countries.

Our treatment with Alvorada was good up to a certain point, Doctors were cordial and treatment was decent.
Our problem starts with some of the Administration staff that failed to inform us of the costs, and a Week after my partners X-ray exams the hospital decides to charge us extra, failing to properly explain the reason for the extra charges. It was also disappointing the lack of instruction from the admnistrative team, I felt like all it was needed from them was collecting the "payment".
I understand hospital is a Business, but I still feel disappointed that my Mother was charged extra instead of my Partner and I - Let alone the charge came a week late with little explanation. We felt scammed

Five stars, excellent everything.
I was at this hospital during a pretty challenging time for some weeks, in the ICU.
I was treated “ like a princess” and got even some kilos because of the amount of food, juices, and ice cream I got from the kitchen.
The hospital food here is DELICIOUS!
Docs and nurses were so kind. The nurses even got my hair done - I always had nice hair during my “stay.” ❤️
Happy things about hard times. This hospital and its staff got my heart; it’s my hospital of choice around the world.
AE is one of the top 50 best hospitals in the world, but I’ve already been to 2 of the top 5 - the service quality at the Albert Einstein is incomparable and way far better.

The hospital is good, but in my opinion it can improve more. There are doctors and others not so nice and thoughtful. The reception is good, some people (receptionists) are polite, friendly ... The same in relation to the security guards. There should be more integration, communication among the coworkers. As I told you it could be better, even in its standard procedure, being more effective,

Hospital São Luiz Anália Franco has a very efficient service, I always take my daughter to the children's emergency room, my wife to the Emergency Room and I too and we are always well attended from reception, triage and by the medical team. My last experience during my wife Gisele Rip's gallbladder removal surgery, we were also very well received, room 1010 was very clean and sanitized, in addition to having ample space to receive visits, the nursing team was always attentive and helpful, the nutritionist who he provided all the clarifications regarding the post-operative diet as well as making himself available to answer my wife's questions about food, the doctors and anesthesiologists were also incredible.
The information provided to me (who was accompanying me) after the surgery by the anesthesiologist reassured me while waiting for my wife to return to the room.
The discharge was also given by the clinic's director and quickly provided by the team at Hospital São Luiz, which facilitated our return home.

It was a bad experience. They don't know how to place the bedpan basin for the patient to urinate, I got wet in bed several times. I paid for two surgeries and had one, I gave up on the day, asked for a refund and things changed. The friendliness, education and agility are over, I had to insist to receive my money, this is absurd, I do not recommend it. I had surgery with Rodrigo Wobeto, who was very attentive until I operated, then I didn't have time for the postoperative period, the moment I needed the most and I was even released home by a nursing technician who only saw me once afterward. When I complained I thought the treatment got much worse.

I had bariatric surgery in January at this hospital. And I want to thank the whole team, from the receptionists, attendants, nurses, nutritionist, physiotherapist, anesthesiologist, surgeon and all the team present in the surgical block. They are fantastic professionals. The hospital is wonderful, I felt like a guest in a hotel. My companion was also welcomed. With a great menu offered at meals. I stayed in a very cozy suite, with TV, Netflix, internet, Alexa, minibar, air conditioning, the automated bed, amazing. The entire staff was welcoming. Note 10, super recommend. I intend to go back to reconstructive surgeries in 1 year. Wait for me. 😘

The guy at the counter Lucas was very attentive and friendly.
The doctor took a long time to perform the service (more than an hour), but he was very solicitous.
I hope they always serve the patients well and improve more and more.
Ahhh… a tip for the IBCC… patients who undergo blood tests and need fasting… please always leave tea or coffee with biscuits!!!
Downgraded one star...
I would like to report another experience I had in this same place, the attendant is solicitous but lacks “humanization”. Patients are already going through a difficult phase, so treat them with more care and attention.
A classic example, in the first consultation I went with the doctor and already on the same day I already scheduled the return.
However, this last time, they asked to call instead of booking directly at the venue, but it doesn't hurt to book directly… because I was already there.
Another problem I noticed was that in the first appointment when I went to book a return appointment... the doctor didn't have a schedule because he had a full schedule, but as he asked for a return visit in 2 months, the attendant then called directly to see how he should proceed, in the which the doctor ordered fitting.
This time, the attendant… did not insist on calling. He just asked me to go to the doctor to check.
Another IMPORTANT detail that I checked was when handling the vacuum blood collection adapter, I had the impression that the material was reused. I sincerely hope this does not happen, as we patients are at risk of contracting other diseases.
It takes a long time at the counter to schedule an appointment.

I was at this place as a companion for exams and consultations and I found the service excellent. From the doorman to the helpful volunteers. Long live this institution.

I just have to thank everyone who makes up this hospital, especially Pediatrics who gave my daughter all the appropriate treatment. It took a long time for us to be referred to this 1st world hospital, so maybe the result was not what we expected, but I don't blame anyone there, but the place where we were being treated.
Gratitude to you from GRAACC for the 23 days I lived there inside the U.T.I, where I saw you guys doing your best to save my princess.
