Heartfelt thanks to the team of Vitosha orthopedic clinic in Sofia and to the team: Dr. Filipov, Dr. Nankov, Dr. Karchynov and Dr. Ploskov, and to everyone at the hospital. Thank you for the exceptional professionalism and attitude towards your patients. I also thank you on behalf of my mother Denka Dimitrova Sakarska, whose hip joint you replaced without worrying about her age and 88 years old. Such an operation was refused by the hospital in Kazanlak, on the grounds that that he will not last. The attitude towards the patient and his relatives in this hospital was beyond all criticism. Once again, I thank Miss Vitosha for not twisting the hands of the patient's relatives financially. BE ALIVE AND HEALTHY AND STILL RESPONSIVE.❤

A very bad experience, where the professor examined the knee by palpation and established the type of injury without performing an MRI or any imaging of the knee, determined that therapy costing 500e is needed, with 5 injections at a 7-day interval, at the first examination he extracts my synovial fluid and injects, when asked if there are any side effects or if rest is necessary, he said and wrote in the report normal activity, I come home after 3-4 hours, the knee starts to swell and it hurts so much that I cannot independently I am moving, which was not the case before coming to him. The next day I call to tell about the given problem, he tells me that he can't believe it and that I am not the first one he has done this to. And that he didn't do anything special to make it look that way. And that they are there so he won't run away. The swelling doesn't go away, I go to the emergency room, I get a plaster cast from hip to foot, and the agony starts. It happens with my knee. different hospitals. Now, I am currently waiting for another magnetic resonance imaging with contrast to be performed because a piece of metal was observed at the injection site where the professor from VozdMedic poked me. So I don't have any nice comments. Very bad experience!

Has from previous injuries very good experience with the Ringvollklinikken in Hobøl. The choice was therefore easy this time too.. But the department in Oslo is a disaster.. I come for a consultation once and go again with the feeling of not being heard.. I go to the physio, but it doesn't get better.. Physiotherapist has tried to get in touch with the doctor / orthopedist many times.. Promises that he will call back, but never lets up.. for several weeks.. It will be exciting to hear what they say tomorrow.. 6 weeks with very poor sleep..

Suddenly got an invoice for a summons that I didn't receive, and therefore I didn't show up. They say they sent a letter, which I obviously didn't receive. I didn't get a phone call or text either. When I called to explain the situation, they were very rude and insisted that it was not their fault that I did not receive the summons and that they did not have time to discuss the matter with me. Then suddenly they hung up.
Now I have received a debt collection notice for an invoice for a doctor's appointment that I did not know about. This is by far the worst customer service I have experienced in my life, especially in healthcare. They are not interested in helping people. They are only interested in money.

I could not recommend Arvind Jain or his team at the Melbourne Bone & Joint Clinic more highly! Whilst I realise everyone’s healing journey will be different, the personalised care and attention you receive will be of the same high standard that I have experienced. Just three weeks after a total hip replacement (anterior) I am amazed at how quickly I am becoming mobile with minimal discomfort. Arvind, Shiona, Trace and the team at the Clinic provided such excellent support in the lead-up and post surgery. My personal concerns and questions were answered with care and my individual needs addressed without judgment. Thank you so much.

The care is very bad! Appointments are given months in advance to specialist clinics, but they don't keep those appointments either! Most of the doctors are retired and overworked. The money we pay does not go where it should!

My sincere appreciation for the outstanding care I received at your dental unit. The level of cooperation, care, and professionalism demonstrated by the entire team was truly exceptional. I was greeted with warmth and kindness.
The staff at the dental unit consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and well-being throughout my visits. Their friendly and caring nature made a significant difference in alleviating any anxiety I had about dental procedures.
I was particularly impressed with the precision and timeliness of the procedures performed. The root canal treatment, in particular, was executed flawlessly. I felt confident in the expertise of the dental team, and they made sure the entire process was as painless and stress-free as possible. This level of skill and attention to detail truly set my experience apart.
The dedication and commitment of your dental team have left me with a positive and lasting impression of your hospital. I couldn't be more satisfied with the care I received, and I am genuinely grateful for the exceptional service.
The entire team deserves not just my heartfelt thanks, but also recognition for their outstanding work. I will not hesitate to recommend your dental unit to friends and family seeking dental care.
Thank you once again for the great experience, and please convey my gratitude to the entire dental unit team.

Operated in this clinic at the beginning of October, I learned that their administrative services are overwhelmed and that I have to wait on average 1.5 months to obtain the care billing slips to be reimbursed by the CPAM and the mutual insurance company. On the other hand, the clinic has no difficulty in requesting immediate payment of fees upon your admission. Good to know!

Husband went in for a minor procedure with an epidural. The admission forms were filled out accurately but once we were admitted the nursing staff did not understand what the term “ as required” meant when associated with a dosage regime even though we explained it twice politely. The senior nurse was aggressive and hostile tried to gaslight us, accused us of not knowing what we were talking about, effectively implying that we were stupid. So after the staff trying to insult, demean and belittle us, without success by the way, we foolishly assumed the matter as settled. Silly us! The next day, post surgery, a hostile nurse charged into my husband’s room and “told him off”. Unfortunately variations of the disrespectful behaviour continued. I arrived to find my husband upset, agitated and distressed. I came to the conclusion that it would be in his best interest to leave. It was a very unpleasant experience which we would not recommend to anyone. Needless to say we will never go to a St Vincent’s Hospital again! My husband felt disrespected, bullied and harassed. He was right. That is exactly what happened. Leaving resolved the problem with a minimum of fuss.

After staying overnight with my son for an Adenotonsillectomy surgery, I'm afraid to say that I was extremely disappointed with our overall experience.
Although St Vincent's was not our first choice, we did not have the option of going to our preferred hospital due to the surgeons availability and the urgent nature of our request. Needless to say, I was not all that fussed initially as I have been an inpatient at many private hospitals and have never had a bad experience. However, unfortunately, St Vincent's did not live up to it's expectations and I've received better care at public hospitals over the years.
For a start, the "room service" which requires the patient to phone the kitchen and place the order of their choice sounded like a fantastic idea to begin with however, they failed to advise that the kitchen won't always answer when you call and upon placing your order, there is up to a 45 minute wait to receive your meal. Too bad if your child is hungry or thirsty as we were trying to get through to them to order our breakfast for 1.5 hours with no success only to be told we could not go home until my son had something to eat - not sure how they expect that when there is no food for him to eat?! There's also no set meals so if you can't get through on the phone to place your order, you simply don't eat!
Also, the food in general was of poor quality. All the "hot" meals we ordered were served cold and utterly tasteless.
My son was in severe pain following the surgery and vomited during the middle of the night which warranted the call for a nurse as his bed sheets were all soiled. Whilst a nurse arrived promptly to our call for help, to clean up the mess, she simply pulled off the soiled sheets, threw a towel on the floor to cover the vomit which spilled off the bed and left the room, leaving my son to sleep in a half made bed with hardly any blankets.
The next morning on our discharge day, there was only one nurse rostered on for the entire paediatric unit and she advised that her shift finished at 11am and she has to close the ward down which means all patients had to be discharged by 11am. Too bad if there were complications and your kid was required to extend their stay!! I don't blame the nurses as it's not their fault they are the only ones rostered on and the one who was, was doing her best considering. However, I am incredibly disgusted with the deplorable service provided by the hospital in general, considering we pay an arm and a leg for the best possible health care - it's a disgrace.
I will never go back to that hospital and will stick to our preferred option in the future.

Emergency dept is an absolute joke. Sitting in here in pain, waiting to be looked at by a doctor for 4+ hours now on a Wednesday mid morning, with about 15 other patients. Nurses “visit” the waiting area of the emergency dept, as if in a hurry, but doesn’t look like any of the patients are actually receiving any care.
Came in here with a fractured hand, will be leaving with not just a fractured hand, but also a low blood sugar level and migraines as complimentary gift. Such a waste of tax payer dollars.

Vote of "No Confidence" - Do Not go here! Get yourself to Sunshine if you have an emergency!
It's definitely not the Royal Melbourne, and not even close to the experience at Sunshine. To describe the Mercy as "Parochial" is to be extremely kind. When I present at an ED in an Australian capital city, I expect a confident workforce, a competent director and a facility that provides a comprehensive ED. It's a sad indictment that Australia's shining cornerstone; its world-class medical system seems so utterly diminished and beleaguered by the shockingly poor example given up as The Mercy Hospital.
Having just moved to the area, I was appalled with my first [and I hope only] experience at the Mercy Hospital. I was directed by my GP to the Mercy after a suspected stroke. I had blurred vision and a screaming headache. I waited for Eleven uncomfortable hours to be told by a somewhat bureaucratically limited doctor lacking any ability in patient empathy, that there was no one at the Mercy who could be sure of my condition. Or apparently, possess the ability to read a CT Scan. Filled with anxiety and a lack of blood sugar, my confidence in this hospital's abilities instantly evaporated. I am a diabetic and by this time was in real need of food. Apparently, food is also on the list of things NOT currently available at the Mercy. I immediately discharged myself and had my partner drive me to Sunshine. What a difference Sunshine is compared to the Mercy. Food, doctors with empathy, doctors that can read CT scans, admin staff that know how to process an emergency department - not to mention the ability to drive up to the front door.
The Mercy needs to take a very long hard look at itself, its facilities, and its staffing capabilities. Start with replacing its director. Who by the way, made an appearance on the ED floor with a triumphantly lame attempt at explaining away his ineptitude at heading up and implementing a capable ED. A fact not lost on the onlooking and demoralized waiting room. A defective leader will only ever attract the same. The ED had a clear communication disconnect between triage and general assessment. (Yes I've had a stroke. But I'm also a diabetic - the two can be true at the same time!) It has a fundamentally flawed waiting room procedure and process reminiscent of some outback roadside clinic. The doctors and general staff seemed limited to and hindered by bureaucracy, with no evident desire to move beyond remedial procedure and develop an ability to infix confidence in their patients. This defines a workforce lacking in experience under incapable leadership. A fact that is picked up and amplified by their patient's experience. As reflected by the multitude of negative experiences retold on this public site.

The fact that this is a hospital is laughable. Lack of experienced qualified staff and good management. Almost lost my wife and child due to a staff not knowing what they were doing. Also don’t get me started on their emergency department. When I was in London during peak covid 19 while thousands of people were dying, the wait time in emergency was only 4hrs, here it’s 11hrs+ wait. How can you call this a first world country. Australians pay big tax dollars almost 30% or more of what they earn working hard, this should be invested into hospitals and other needed services. There needs to be another hospital in the west. Maybe Tarneit or Truganina because this place is shambolic. If you can, please wait to see your GP and pray it’s bulk billed or try to put your own broken legs together. It’ll be better than going into Werribee mercy.

I am writing about my experience at ENT.
The waiting room is always full and the waiting time is excruciating. But I don't think it's a personnel problem. He is very pleasant and accommodating. I am in awe of Dr. Anna Rumanová. Pleasant and very nice.

We visited the hospital with our son (3 years old) on October 28, 2023, he had an acute ear infection. At the ENT, a full bakery, or not a bakery, but a chair right by the elevator, my son cried there for an hour, but no one even noticed us, and the staff was constantly barking around (obviously with a snack or wallet in hand). Total disinterest. Waste of time for me, we went to Prague and I will never visit this hospital again.

I have two experiences, one when I collapsed from overwork (exhaustion) and I spent one night directly in the Interna. Amazing staff, hats off.
The second experience is when the grandmother's rectal tumor was cut out and she was sent home without a stoma, after many emergency calls (from the general practitioner and from us) and threats (that we will not take grandmother back into care), the doctor apologized that it was a "communication problem" "The noise and the stoma were performed after a few days. Thanks to this, Grandma became so weak that further follow-up cancer treatment was not possible, and she died after 2 months of being bedridden at home. Despite my good experience with this hospital, I give only 1 star for obvious reasons.
