This place's customer service sucks. I emailed them with questions regarding a minor surgery that I'm looking to get. I wanted to know what the price or approximate price would be for it, if they had availability in a certain part of the month, and if this surgery could be done at the same time.
They responded that I would need to set up a consultation in order to get the answers I was looking for. Guess how much a consultation is? USD$150 or $3300 Pesos. Seriously? I explained to them that it wouldn't make sense for me to spend that kind of money when I may find out they don't have availability for appointments when I need it. How hard is it for a hospital to tell their patients when they have appointments available?

They allow themselves to be charged as a 5-star hospital and it is not. The nursing service is the worst I have ever experienced in my life. You ring the bell and they never help you or if they help you it's because they're going for something else. I was hospitalized for 4 days and better I learned to manage the serum control boxes and if I needed something better I would stop to go to the infirmary's reception... Of course, they don't shake their hands to get paid.

I expected much more from this hospital, I don't have insurance so I had to pay the full bill. It was an account of 200k for a single night, the service is mediocre, from the moment you arrive the facilities are half emhhh, obviously they make you fill out all your paperwork and leave a deposit of 150k. The bed was horrible, the most uncomfortable I've ever been in and look at how I've had about 10 operations including the public health system and I dare say this was the worst, all the nurses had no idea of anything, they didn't know when to change the Medicines or anything, the cleaning of the room was bad, they left the dirty food tray until they arrived with the next meal. I liked the location since my parents were able to go to Paseo Acoxpa to have fun. And a recognition to the nurse Ana María, nurses like them are to be appreciated, with high vocation and dedication. The food was so-so. There are still many things to improve in the hospital, it looks very new or improvised. It is not one of my favorites and if I can avoid it I will.

The facilities are quite clean and pleasant, at least the room that was assigned to me was quite nice, clean and comfortable, unlike others that are a little simpler that I had the opportunity to see right here, I don't know if they still exist or have been remodeled, but I don't have any complaint.
The extremely friendly staff from the first moment, from administrative, security, nutrition and especially nursing, attentive at all times and for any little thing regardless of the time, after my surgery I asked for a blanket and in a minute I already had a thermal, I asked for my glasses and they brought them to my room in another building.
Quality staff checked into the room daily to ask if I was comfortable and receiving good care.
The only thing that was quite complicated was the entrance, since it took 3 hours due to lack of availability of rooms, despite the fact that it was already scheduled. Same thing with check in and out, it took too long.
Still, I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

I entered because of my daughter's major medical expenses and from then on they think that since you don't absorb all the expenses, they can give you mediocre care, to begin with they put you on one side of the building where everyone has major medical expenses, what's up? a floor for children where there are games and themes for children, the emergency area is very deficient, you practically have to wait outside and they are quite late, since urgently they do nothing, the administrative areas seem worse than the ISSTE or IMSS for real What a pity that charging what they charge they don't have much better service, you see them talking or really eating I was going to put a video of all this but I didn't want to harm the ladies, of course if you pay a lot more money the service is 100 and what there is an area that looks like the fourth apartments, it is understood that they deal with a lot of people but there must be more empathy.

Unfortunately the hospital staff seem to have the only goal of making as much money off you as possible, recommending exams and treatments that are not needed or very, very excessive. On top of that, their professional knowledge is so poor I had a X ray technician and a doctor telling me I have a condition by which my organs are on the opposite side of where they should be because they were looking at my X rays flipped the wrong way around. In short avoid if you can!

I would definitely not go back to that hospital, I had ankle surgery and the admitting people are unbelievably incapable, they take too long for admission and it was supposed to be "emergency" plus the deposit I made was not refunded until I asked Due to the invoice for this, they told me that in fact I had a credit balance and that I had to return to cancel the voucher. The medical discharge that my doctor did took hours to process. In addition, the discharge took a long time because they missed an x-ray. Friendly nurses but on two occasions that I called they did not come to my room. Good facilities, nice spacious room and my excellent doctor.

Completely disappointed, everything was happiness, good facilities, perfect medical care, good emergency, wonderful nursing, good doctor, excellent food, until the day I was discharged, the nursing center took 3 hours to pass the discharge account analysis since my doctor indicated everything because they changed their system and I don't know if nobody knows how to use it or it's very bad, they loaded me with 10 jars of happiness in two days when they only used one, they supposedly had fixed it and it wasn't true since my The insured rejected the bill for those same bottles and they left me in the hospital another day when I no longer needed it, since an analysis of the accounts told me that they had already sent the corrected bill to the insurer and it was a lie, since it was already 10 pm and that Darian did not discharge me until the next day, the next day I had to go up and down, I felt kidnapped since the insurer was not refusing to pay, I just wanted the correction of the bottles that I charged They took too much until I said I'm going to go out for a patrol car because they have me kidnapped.
Administratively, they are at minus zero, very bad.

I went to have some laboratory studies done and I did not see that the person who took the laboratory sample washed their hands or applied alcohol or gel. I asked him if he had done it, and he assured me that he had, but I saw his hands dry when he put the alcohol pad on me before performing the puncture. Having to take their word for something they routinely perform in front of patients left me a bit concerned.

I wasn't going to write a review (I'm so over all this), but I feel compelled to after reading a review that was extremely similar to what I experienced here for COVID-19 treatment.
I tested COVID-positive on January 3rd and started Paxlovid. I saw my neighborhood doctor on January 4th. I am vaccinated (and boosted) but am at high risk with asthma. I was given steroids and breathing medicine. I was instructed to go to the hospital if I got worse.
I got worse. The following evening, my oxygen dropped below 80. Scared, I called an ambulance and requested to be taken to this hospital as it was supposed to be the best. They took my oxygen in the ambulance and immediately gave me oxygen. I was on oxygen the whole time in the ambulance.
I was taken off oxygen when I arrived as my saturation reached the high 90s. I requested the antiviral remdesivir. The doctor refused to give me the medicine. I explained how my condition worsened despite days on Paxlovid, steroid injections, oral steroids, bronchodilators, and rescue inhalers. He could not have cared less.
I requested to leave as the doctor was not going to treat me (he charged me, though). The doctor told me there were other ID specialists. I requested to speak to one of them, and the doctor left. While waiting, someone else came in and said there were no other ID specialists there, so I paid and left. It should be noted my saturation had fallen to 92% by that time.
I struggled at home with symptoms for the next few days. I continued testing positive after completing Paxlovid. My condition worsened, and I returned to the neighboring doctor about a week after leaving the hospital. Still symptomatic and COVID-positive, he examined me and found pneumonia. My labs were also abnormal, showing evidence I had developed blood clots due to COVID-19. He prescribed medicine for pneumonia and clots (which worked). All this could have been prevented.
Trying to get my medical records from this hospital afterwords (for insurance) was like pulling teeth. It took forever to get my records, and when I finally did, I was shocked. The doctor noted that I said things I never did. My signature was forged on the documents.
Worst hospital experience ever. Very expensive and received no treatment. The administration is a nightmare as well. Avoid it if possible.

We have been living In 3 different countries for the past 9 years, never experienced anything as bad. We have a a top insurance but they “suddenly” only excepts credit card payment. Stayed for additional 5 hours because they did not let’s leave. No one speaks English except the doctors. However, doctors are very competent and reason for not one but two stars.

Absurdly (like, for real) expensive for a very mediocre level of service. I went to the urgency center, and i found it very useless that on every stage (reception, triage, first and second doctor) they asked me the same questions. The doctor took more than half an hour to arrive. The receptionist has misinformed me and I did a very expensive (since I’m traveling abroad) call which wasn’t necessary at that moment. Also, several times there were several people coming in at a time, also unnecessary, certainly didn’t create a feeling of comfort. The room in which I was attended was small and the door was never closed.

Terrible experience. I tested positive for COVID three days ago, and began Paxlovid and fever reducers immediately. After three days, I am still having symptoms and testing positive.
I called the ambulance to bring me to the hospital. My oxygen was 81 (after a dexamethasone injection and tablet today). The paramedic gave me oxygen right away in the ambulance.
The doctor was useless. He refused to prescribe remdesivir. In nonhospitalized patients with mild to moderate COVID-19 who are at high risk of progressing to severe disease, remdesivir should be started within 7 days of symptom onset and administered for 3 days. The doctors name was Dr. Diego Lecona.
I showed proof of my asthma and low oxygen saturation from prior attacks. He did nothing to help me and didn’t give me the medicine. All he did was charge me over $300 for a useless consult. Never again

Unfortunately I became quite I’ll on a recent trip to Mexico City. The physician on call for the hotel direct me to this hospital. My care in ER was efficient, caring and appropriate. Lilliana and Mezil in Er were so caring and great communicators. I was admitted and again impressed with the care of the team. Very professional and respectful. When called received prompt response. My physician, Dr Jessica was knowledgeable, great personality and did follow thru with communication upon my return home. Highly recommend and hope in US we can rid our staff of the EMR demands that take them away from the bedside. Perhaps then we can be as attentive as the team in this hospital. Thank you to the nurses, housekeeping and residents as well!

The doctor I worked with was professional, but the setup of the hospital is horrendous. I had arranged to have a test, which was then cancelled without telling me and they rearranged the test was almost 3 times the price. I also had to collect my own results, which were also not sent to the consultant. How can a hospital claiming to be the best in Mexico and not share the results with your consultant? The only test I was given results to was my blood test.

The truth is that I am very satisfied with the attention of the doctors and also with the social work staff, they are very good and conscientious
But the guards are the worst thing this beautiful hospital can have
They spend their time sleeping on night shifts and ignore you when you need guidance.
They treat you the worst and feel that they are from the SSC but the truth is that the hospital is not to blame for having a HORRIBLE security company
Aceves the guards are too smart. they give you a bad deal
That's why I give them 2 stars
Because those stars deserve it, the people who really take their work seriously and thank you very much for the attention that the General Hospital of Mexico gives us
There I leave the photos of the guards so that there is evidence and they do not think that it is a lie

I am an American on an extended vacation here in Mexico City and I saw Dr Luis Villalobos Perez. Hands down he was the best doctor I have ever seen in my fifty years of life. He truly took time to discuss my health problem and my history and he gave me a thorough physical exam, I feel like I have not had an actual physical exam since I was in high school. It is such a blessing to have found Mediland!
Great staff, clean and modern facility in a beautiful neighborhood
Don’t hesitate to go here if you are sick!

Everything is well sanitized. A good clinic with specialists who attend to your concerns. I paid $1500 for a consultation with the otolaryngologist who found the problem and wrote me a prescription. It's a little expensive, but it's a good service.
