Establishment of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University was an upgrade of the Institute of Postgraduate Medicine and Research (IPGMR). IPGMR was established in December 1965, as a Government-controlled postgraduate institute for medical research and studies. It was housed in the now defunct Hotel Shahbag, once the biggest hotel in Dhaka. The hotel got its name Shahbag from the name of the neighborhood. I went to the emergency to remove stitches , the assigned person to do this left two stitches in side my finger and now I have an infection. Very simple thing was not done properly, imagin what they will do with more complex medical operations!

I have delivered my baby last week, c section, generally, the service was really good, nurses and doctors were helpful and kind. The only thing I did not like was the nursery section, they were trying to push for formula feeding although we told them we wanted to breast feed the baby. They should help mothers with the breast feeding instead of just choosing the easy way for them.

Regardless of the prices I left the hospital in pain because the doctor didn’t show up (the resident doctor) public relations called I asked for the doctor then the nurse as well promised to call a doctor so I waited for more than an hour and no one showed up… also the insurance office are not professional at all they sent the request to the wrong address so I had to call the insurance my self internationally and follow up with them asking for approvals. Advice: 1- make sure to verify with the insurance while at the admin & insurance and make sure they send the paperwork to the correct address. 2- ask the administrator and the doctor before you get in the room and make sure they promise to provide you with the decent service and won’t let you alone in pain for a long time. 3- If you find a better option better hospital then just go for it. We came for an endoscopy test scheduled at 11:30 am but had to wait for over 50 minutes. The delayed doctor appointment was a frustrating experience for us and other patients

A decent medical facility is taken into account a basic would like for all. there's AN imperative would like for moderate to glorious health care facilities within the town of Chattogram. In Chattogram, there are not any well-equipped hospital compared to the hospital in Dhaka. They wanted to modify these health care facilities and revolution to established a well-facilitated and fashionable hospital within the town of port.

Shame and shame on this place, where you are greeted by disgruntled receptionists who probably didn't understand what it means to be helpful and nice when you greet patients and their attendants who come to undergo one or another medical procedure, simple or complex, it doesn't matter - you can't contact or talk to them, make eye contact , and even when you turn and ask, God forbid, more than one question, you are met with disdain, lack of interest, eye rolls, and today, from my experience, it came to her raising her voice, of course. Those who can avoid or ask for another private hospital are welcome. Not getting there, a terrible experience that left me traumatized. It will not pass in silence or on the agenda, I will reach those who need to reach.

Amazing medical center! I had an operation there and was hospitalized for 24 hours after the operation. During my hospitalization I received treatment, information, personal treatment at the highest level! Good food, television, toilets and super comfortable beds in every room! The lobby is designed and pleasant to be there, art depends on the editor of all the rooms and the common area. There is a cafe at the entrance. What's more, they don't have parking. With me I will definitely come back here!

HANNAH KIRÁLY i hope you will read my message because the surgeon who disfigured me is the same as yours. And even though i spoke very little it to those around me, i met three people who were completly disapointed in having breast transplants done by this surgeon. Like you, I suffered enormously psychologically from the result of this operation. My face wasn’t the same at all and that wasn’t the goal!! I also woke up during the operation because i was choking from the blood running down my throat. I heard voice of the nurse only at that moment. The result was a disaster and i had to have three operations in another hospital to repair the damage.

I gave birth at Yanhee Hospital with Dr. Apichat. He’s excellent and very good and experienced in natural as well. At the beginning I want to go with natural and he always pro with it. But in the end I choose to do C-section, And I had fabulous experience and I recovered after 7 days and being able to do everything normally and the incisions healed very well. Dr. Apichat understand English but he will reply in thai. However every international client of yanhee hospital will get assistant/translator for every checkup and during the stay for delivery. Highly recommend Sai Htun Win (Sonic) he’s excellent and very helpful and professional! Couldn’t be more happy with all free things he has done for me and my family! I had amazing birth experience with this doctor and this hospital, they willing to help me with everything they can do since the first time i come here.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I waited one full hour to get a facial done. And that’s after complaining along the way. Very unprofessional and waste patients time. Each step took 15/20 mins. There’s no communication about how long I should wait. I always come here but today was the worse experience. Never ever again.

Waiting time for the insurance is very long, response from doctor to insurance is too slow, very poor management, you have to wait very long time to get response from the team, I experienced this at Diabetic centre. Similarly experience I faced in the past while my daughter was admitted in August as she is type 1 diabetic, hospital Insurance team is not responsive, they need to update their system fast, as I my insurance send me screen shot on approvals time, still nurses make us wait as they are waiting for response from in-house insurance team. I would like to address CEO of the Hospital, please do something to bring the same quality as it was before as this was one of the best hospital & now in my eyes it is worst with poor service, poor management

I recently delivered my baby boy at Kings College Dubai Hills. I had a memorable and an amazing experience and felt so at home. My husband and I were so humbled and couldn’t have asked for more private care. All the staff and nurses were excellent and I was in good hands. However, Leanne my midwife was exceptionally helpful and was like a second Mum to me. She went above and beyond all the time to make sure I was ok. She assisted me with everything I had to learn and know as a new Mum and always made me feel at ease. She is always so hardworking, professional and passionate about what she does. I’ve never met someone who loves what they do so much! Leanne has provided so much care post my delivery as well and she has become a very close friend of mine. I can confidently recommend Leanne as she deserves it. I am convinced that having her as a member of staff will be a valuable asset.

I delivered my baby with King's in July 2022. I highly recommend the hospital and stuff working there, everyone was very supportive and kind. I am sincerely grateful to Dr. Esra for my delivery. On a separate note, I sincerely want to thank Mary Grace for her kind support. As a first time mother, even whilst I was attending Antenatal classes, I lacked practical experience of how to take care of baby. Mary Grace was very attentive and showed us how to bath and change the baby, explaining many interesting life hacks. Her support and explanation how to breastfeed the baby was indispensable, without her I would not be that lucky to establish breastfeeding which I continue to date.

Dr. May Ali has been an incredible support throughout my twin pregnancy journey. Her professionalism and unwavering support guided me every step of the way. Her expertise and care during the C-section brought my beautiful baby girls into the world safely. I'm immensely grateful for her dedication and expertise. Additionally, her assistant Princy was always attentive and supportive, making the entire experience even more reassuring. I'm definitely continuing as Dr. May's patient for any future needs🙂

AVOID THEIR ER. They will give you test and procedures that has nothing to do with what you came for. Pregnancy Test and CT Scan for cough and sore throat?! Come on! Stop scamming people! If you really must visit them, always ask and check first what they want to do. If it's irrelevant, just SAY NO! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

My relative was confined in this hospital for four days. In those four days, her doctor only visited her twice but charged us P8,000 as PF. Nurses only came in when called--via phone because the nurse call button was cut. We were monitoring our patient's fever ourselves. I've reviewed the bill and there were questionable charges as well like gloves, tape etc. It's not as if the nurses finished all of those supplies but we were charged for the whole amount nonetheless. This would have been okay if the excess supplies were given to the patient upon discharge. ER charges were unreasonable as well. There were only three patients when we came in yet the whole process of admitting the patient took 2 hours, meanwhile incurring more and more charges in the ER. But the worst part of the experience was requiring the patient to have a companion for the purpose of having someone actually take care of the patient. Doesn't that negate the purpose of going to the hospital? You go to a hospital to get medical treatment and care. But it seemed like we were only there for the convenience of having labs done and having IV fluids--which to be honest can be done at home--because the actual care of the patient came from the companion. In effect, companions need to miss work to take care of the patient. For as long as the patient is confined, they miss the opportunity to earn money--which they need in the first place to be able to pay for the high hospital bill. It's an oppressive system. This set-up would have been forgivable if companions had a comfortable bed if they are required to be with the patient 24/7. But no, they are only given a plastic chair. And even if we get the private room, a companion is still required. People go to private hospitals for better service, but it seems like the only difference between DLSMC and a public hospital is that this hospital has aircon. What a waste of hard-earned money.

Can't complain anything. Service: Outstanding with all details and support for senior generation and physical issues. We were there for many time foe myself and family. Today, I went to visit this hospital because I had - bad sore throat. I went to another hospital first, but the wait is too long. Nurses: Here some nurses are nice, but some nurses have bad attitude, especially the way they talk at Eye/eye/nose/throat station. I told them that I checked covid earlier, and they tried to scared me away with 200 baht extra cost for covid test first. I was so sick that I would not want to deal with them. Doctor: The doctor I met today doesn’t seem to be well-educated or not attention to detail. Normally, I would get tested to find my symptoms is from virus or bacteria before prescribing antibiotics. I don’t want to take too many antibiotics because it is bad for my health in the long run. Also, my body has some red dots on my skin. I told the doctor that. I thought I would get skin medicine, but he seems to forget it or just prescribes me an allergy medicine to take which I’m not sure it is for my running nose or skin allergy. Price: The bill is not clear of how much each medicine costs. There are only 3 medicines. The cost was over 3,000 baht. 2,000 baht for the medicine which seems to be over-priced. I would not recommend this hospital if you are coming here.

2 day stay for cancer surgery. After being assisted to my room prior to surgery their procedures just don't make since. When they tried to insert the IV before a shower and before changing into hospital clothes I directed the nurse to come back just prior to me going to the OR. 5 hours before surgery take a shower and change. 1 hour before surgery nurse shaves and directs another shower. Put on a different set of clothes. Ask for IV Team to come back. IV inserted the told to change clothes again. Poor planning and communication. New staff comes on shift and everything went smoothly and logically. OR Staff were Excellent. Sr Anesthesia was Extremely Professional really like him. Recovery Room Staff Excellent. Back in the room and the again were Super. The 1 draw back was initially they couldn't understand that a Farang's pain wasn't alleviated by a single Tylenol. I did get the pain meds I needed though. Concerning the food, it is actually very good. All in All I'm happy I came here.

I’ve made an appointment with Dr. Mohammad Badr, a gastroenterologist. While scheduling, I confirmed multiple times with the person handling appointments that the doctor would be available on time, ensuring there wouldn’t be any last-minute issues since I’m traveling from Bahrain. She advised me to arrive 10 minutes earlier. However, upon my arrival at the hospital 20 minutes early, I discovered that the doctor had already left, demonstrating a lack of punctuality and leaving before his scheduled hours. The customer staff was very rude and unhelpful. When I questioned them about the doctor leaving before my appointment, they claimed ignorance and mentioned that his duties were finished. Despite having my appointment time visible in the system, they couldn’t assist me and attributed the mistake to the call center staff. Frustratingly, they refused to call the doctor or take any action to rectify the situation. Their unprofessionalism extended from the doctor to the call center and customer service staff. I strongly advise against visiting Dosary Hospital or consulting Dr. Mohammad Badr, as my experience was highly unsatisfactory.

Need to express my concerns about the lengthy and frustrating insurance approval process we encountered at Dossary Hospital. We only visited due to Dr Javed because the doctor is good. We observed that only one staff member is available at the tiny insurance counter, with the main counter closed. This lone staff member is handling a long queue in the middle of the walkway, contributing to the overall inconvenience and adding to the challenges faced during the insurance approval process. Unlike our experiences in other hospitals, the insurance approval process at Dossary Hospital has been exceedingly time-consuming. The rejections, coupled with the necessity to repeatedly seek additional information from the doctor and endure prolonged waiting times, have been incredibly inconvenient. This repetitive cycle occurred three times, leading us to the decision to pay cash for the test, which was priced at a reasonable 230 riyals. It is disheartening to note that our Class A insurance, which is promptly approved at other medical facilities, consistently faces challenges at Dossary Hospital. Despite our attempts to address these issues with the hospital staff, we feel our concerns have not been adequately addressed. The constant blame on our insurance company and the lack of resolution only added to the distress of navigating this process as sick patients. As patients, we find it unacceptable to endure such a cumbersome and disorganized procedure, having to navigate multiple floors to resolve the matter. We urge you to review and improve your insurance approval process to ensure a smoother experience for patients who rely on your services. We DO NOT RECOMMEND DOSSARY ANYMORE.

The facility is good. But, a lot to be improved. Very slow process starting from reception, insurance approval to pharmacy. Don't go if you are for a quick checkup for your kids.

I enjoyed my medical checkup at Pondok Indah Hospital. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The facilites provided in the hospital were highly maintained and comfortable. The service also very fast and reliable. Here I provided the picture of the waiting room of the executive medical check up area.

The service at RSPI Pondok Indah is the best, all the nurse are kind and attentive, the food service and cleaning was also very impressive. One best part is the hospital food was the best one I tried so far (hopefully the last, no more hospital stays🥹)! I did not expect to enjoy the food while staying at a hospital but apparently it was amazing! The food quality and options are excellent. The staff was super helpful to accomodate my additional request for my son’s first meal, he also enjoyed his first meal!

Need an expert in pancreatic problems, we decided to use this hospital. Treated at the emergency ward and them moved to the VIP room at night. Room is clean and modern with a proper daybed and microwave, toilet is clean and using top notch equipment.

8th floor and recommended CT Scan services : Clean and well equipped treatment room and facility, prompt and friendly and well trainee nurses, in time doctor visits, excellent housekeeping ; food services can be more quick on providing utensils for guest use. First timer in the house! Overall enjoyed my stay here. The hospital is clean, staffs are very pleasant, the doctors made excellent diagnosis and special shoutout to the nurses on 6th and 9th floor for making my sick stay here as amazing as it can get! Your attentiveness and soothing voices really helps me thru some rough times here. Thank you! ❤️ Oh! And the food selections in the room are really good too, always go for the Japanese food. Excellent quality hospital. I had stayed here for taking medical treatments for 4 nights. It is not like hospital but 5 stars hotel. Here is very clean, all staffs have nice hospitality. My Doctor gives very clear information about process and step of treatment so I can plan my days, take strictly on her medical suggestion to recover soonest. Nurses on ward 5R I stay very helpful and have very good service mind. Maids is very hard working to make the room tiny and you feel like stay in 5 stars hotel. I don’t feel I stay in hospital except during my fever time keeps telling me that “ Hey guy, you are in hospital “ Excellent !!

Its like a 5 star hotel but Unfortunately, especially pediatric department pediatricians and nurses require further training to comprehend patient psychology. After all, patients pay significant amounts of money for their services.

This hospital it’s nice, but the political rules are verry bath! If you are Iranian or from Azarbaijan than you pay the same price as for the Turkish people. If you are from anather country than you pay the triple. This is rasict hospital. I don’t advice for the people to come to this hospital. Regular patient here. I’ve been to this hospital for several reasons; general med check and other diseases. First of all, the nurses & hospital staff service was always top notch. I would say if you’re lucky, you’ll get the good doctors. My endocrinologist was the best, detailed explanation, helpful, and did not prescribe unnecessary meds (even suggested me to purchase meds from outside hospital for cheaper price). During COVID 2021 I was also hospitalized here, I was very well taken care of by the nurses. I think the doctors also prescribed good meds as I got better fast (severe symptoms). However one time I was hospitalized due to breathing issues, the ENT/lung doctor seem to prolong my stay with excuses that the blood test result has not come out even after 3 days, while eventually they let me out after some xray test only? Because of that I had to pay more than my insurance coverage. Also I did general med check here twice. First doctor was super nice, she talked kindly and checked detail. I had excellent care at this hospital and can’t recommend it enough! I went in for just a 6 month follow up appt and had sudden severe abdominal pain while there— ended up admitted and a CT scan showed a small bowel obstruction. By the evening I was in the ICU and had emergency surgery with 30cm of necrotic bowel removed. I spent 9 days in the hospital with excellent care in a private room. I am a former surgery scheduler and medical assistant in the USA, and the quality of care is the same if not better— no staff shortages here! All doctors and RNs speak English and even the nursing support staff attempt to speak some English—much better than my very limited Thai language skills. I am now over a month from discharge and healing well with no issues at all. Really happy with my care at Sukhumvit Hospital, they saved my life! Prices were always given for tests and procedures beforehand, a little surprising coming from America, but always good to know. Compliments also to my Thai AIA health insurance policy that paid for all but $520usd of my inpatient hospitalization bill!
