Mediastinal tumor treatment in 1 Oncology and Thoracic surgery clinic in Sharjah

My sister’s appointment is at 4.15 pm with the pediatric doctor and I reached the hospital and specifically the registration desk at about 3.45 pm. The area was crowded as there were 2 angry employees assigned to register patients from 5 different sections and the queue system was not working so just imagine that the same staff who are registering the patients are making manual tokens and giving them to the patients. However, I finished with the registration at 4.30 !! So I spent about 45 minutes only to register. I went to the pediatric section but the doctor was busy talking on the phone 😂 the situation is completely messy in this hospital. if you are a person who respects the time please don't come here. put honestly Dr. Ahmed Tawfiq is a very professional and respectful doctor. So two stars for the Dr only the hospital does not deserve stars

This Hospital really went above and beyond in taking care of my wife during her pregnancy. The front office staff deserves a special mention for their exceptional service. They were friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience smooth and hassle-free. It's great to know that they prioritize patient satisfaction from the moment you walk in. From our OB Dr Hend to all the doctors who help her, nurses, cleaners and security, all the staff i can say is they are friendly, simple words like CONGRATULATIONS AND DONT WORRY from the security and cleaning staff helps while i was waiting for my wife's delivery. I lived most of my life suffering from pain and discomfort that kept getting worse. I was diagnosed with endometriosis 2 month ago and underwent a surgery with Dr Gul Rana. From the initial consultation to the surgery and follow-up care, the entire process was smooth. She made me feel comfortable every step of the way. The surgical procedure was success, I walked out with a set date for laparoscopic surgery. I was referred by a friend to see one of your specialists, but I'm experiencing difficulties with the booking system. The staff handling the process lacks in customer service and marketing skills. Instead of retaining customers, they seem to be pushing them away. I suggest implementing more engaging scheduling options to keep patients interested.

They just prescribed medicines and I couldn’t control my sugar level at all. I wanted to give a try at the Canadian Hospital and I went there in August. When I visited Dr Sarah Alam Endocrinologist my Hba1c level was at 9.9 and yesterday after the test it was down at 6. Such a vast improvement. Dr Sarah’s aim was to control my sugar level. She is so skilled at what she does. I had a lot of health complications when I went to her and now I feel a lot better in every aspect. I never thought I could get better, but she put me on the right medications and gave me the proper treatment. She is keen to know about everything that affects the patient, and treats even the slightest problem they have. Also, she respects your phone calls and messages and replies timely. She calls personally to check up on you. I had the best experience with her, I recommend her to all diabetics who are with uncontrolled sugar levels and others who need to visit an endocrinologist. She’s the best in Dubai. She’s a remarkable doctor and a professional I can trust.

Waiting time for the insurance is very long, response from doctor to insurance is too slow, very poor management, you have to wait very long time to get response from the team, I experienced this at Diabetic centre. Similarly experience I faced in the past while my daughter was admitted in August as she is type 1 diabetic, hospital Insurance team is not responsive, they need to update their system fast, as I my insurance send me screen shot on approvals time, still nurses make us wait as they are waiting for response from in-house insurance team. I would like to address CEO of the Hospital, please do something to bring the same quality as it was before as this was one of the best hospital & now in my eyes it is worst with poor service, poor management

The first patient contact at reception, Jasmin - amazingly welcoming & courteous…the sweet smile says it all. Regina, the nurse on duty - very supportive and helpful. Takes too much time for medicine. I have been noticing employees actions and body language are too slow. I had to wait for 20 plus mins to collect my medicines which is not the case in other hospitals. This is 2nd time I had faced this problem. I had used their ophthalmology department on 1st floor.

They lost their valuable client. I delivered my baby here and everything was great. But today it was really a terrible experience. We came for circumcission. All it took doctor 5 mins to tell us you have to come next week and they wanted to charge us for that. The funny thing is this is not the first time they tried to over charge. I really request the management that there should be transparency in your system. We have paid over 10k aed paying another 250 bucks is not a big deal, but it’s about being fair and putting the client at first place. Lastly every-time whenever we came with appointments even, management takes extra one hour at-least. This is another issue to be solved. As time is money and you may lose both. Rak hospital is very good overall but some things will really annoyed you and that is why this could be my last visit to this 🏥

Was coming here since 7 years but the service now keeps coming down. Doctors keeps changing . Just coming here for Dr Rekha as she is the best otherwise long waiting for everything. Taking insurance approval takes at least two hours. From opening the file to taking the insurance and getting the medicine takes ages. They should work on this and give relief to people and work on customer service as counter staffs are rude. Worse insurance department you can waste whole day here.

Best doctors Dr Rania Abu Samra, Dr Mohammed Saadat 😍 really you feel comfortable dealing with them, nurses are awesome and helpful. I recommend this hospital for everyone. Inpatient and outpatient services are fast and very good. Emergency department also very fast and doctors available there usually contact the main doctor of the patient

I just step into this hospital and they already charge my card for 2,000 dirham, I don’t even see any doctor yet. They said it’s deposit but does is make any sense? We would pay for services after its complete! Or do you think we will run? SCAM We was transferred from mediclinic Al Sufouh to Mediclinic City Hospital. We pay 2,000 dirham (600$) and don’t get any help. For simple drainage of abscess they asked 35,000 dirham (10,000$). We was shocked. All staff extremely slow, we spend 5 hours in this hospital and get 0 help. One doctor look and call another doctor, another look and call another doctor. No one don’t want do the job unless you pay 35,000 dirham. We pay 2,000 dirham for 0 help. Please avoid this hospital because they care only money and not humanity.

This hospital staff doesn't have value for time at all. Keep offering wrong promises at every inquiry, such as hospital duration of stay or discharge expectation or service request. You feel the cutting cost at every corner except at payment desks Doctor promises you 5 min proceedure and one hour stay easily end up with 10 hours stay with no unusual events, ICU nurse promise to attend you in 2 min end up 20 min They work hard, but patients leave with lots of complains and irritation

Excellent medical service. Great physiotherapy sessions with Mr. Luke Hinds. Also the dermatologist Dr. Habiba provides you with full attention and care during consultation. I would highly recommend the facility as long as you have good insurance. On selfpay, it might be expensive but worth the quality of service.

I had a very challenging experience with my recent medical procedure . I was scheduled for a colonoscopy and had been fasting since 6 am the previous day. When I arrived for my 10:30 am appointment, I was not immediately admitted. After inquiring with several staff members, the receptionist instructed me to wait outside, as there were no available rooms, and my procedure was rescheduled for 12 pm. Feeling increasingly frustrated due to hunger, a headache, and the staff's behavior, I eventually voiced my concerns strongly. Seeing my distress, they accommodated me in the nurse's room. This visit was necessary as my usual doctor had left the country, and I had to consult with Dr. Jamil. However, due to this experience, I've decided not to return to that facility.
