We are extremely grateful for Dr. Kevin C. Ortiz Soto at the Majestic Mirage in Punta Cana. He tended to 2 out of my 3 children for various medical reasons during our vacation. I could not be more grateful and appreciative for his gentle and attentive demeanor with my children. He was absolutely amazing and I am so relieved to have my children treated so well when they were so sick. He made sure I and my children understood everything that was happening, clearly explained what needed to happen to care for my children even after I left his office, and even took time to joke and make my children feel comfortable. He was truly a gem! Thank you so very much for saving our vacation, things could have been much worse but because of Dr. Ortiz Soto, my children are much better! We are extremely grateful!

Dr. Thomas was friendly, reassuring and very professional taking care of our medical issue. It was a one-stop-visit and the care he provided was flawless from hands on attention to prescribing the medication we needed and left with on the same visit. Thankfully there was a doctor like him on site, and the wait time wasn't long. Doing much better now.

Dr. Alexis Polanco was excellent and attentive to our needs. We visited him past his office hours and he was still patient and able to help us on such short notice. My wife fell with an ear infection and he was able to provide all the necessary medications and gave us comfort with his excellent counseling. I highly recommend visiting him if you have any medical concerns.

Doctor Alonso is absolutely amazing. Not only is he an expert in his field, he's a really nice and caring person. All the years of dental anxiety disappeared as soon as I met him. He caters to the needs of his patients on an individual basis. Unlike American dentist, Doctor Alonso does not try to sell the patient on unnecessary treatments and procedures just to add to the price. He provides an honest and realistic quote based on the needs of the patient, he actually listens to any concerns and there are no surprise fees involved. The entire experience was VIP.
Even with travel costs, I saved THOUSANDS of dollars. I will return to Doctor Alonso for all my future dental care.
If you're on the fence about dental tourism, or have had bad experiences with overpriced, arrogant dentist, all I can say is Doctor Alonso will change the way you feel about dental care.

Bottom line up front: go see this man for dental work!
I needed extensive dental work so that could start my job overseas. The preliminary estimate in America was something like 15 grand (Covid got some of us out of our dental routine). The estimate I got from Dr. Alonso was 3200 USD. It ended up being 700 bucks cheaper. For extensive treatment a plane ticket and hotel along with the treatment will cost you less than many American treatment plans deductibles.
In regards to treatment it was top notch. The dental assistants were great. For my root canals he brought in someone who only does root canals (please put his name below because he needs the credit). I felt nothing during them as even when I felt the tiniest bit of pain he gave me more Novocain. The man along with Dr. Alonso saved a tooth of mine (root canal plus crown) when an American based dentist recommend it for extraction. Dr. Alonso was fantastic. Got my cavities fixed. The crowns feel like a blessing from God because I literally could not chew on one side of my mouth for a while due to a messed up tooth. He made sure to make sure they fit just right. I looked at many dental places here and he is the only one I saw that is ADA certified. He also only deals in top quality implants so you know you are getting the best.
I’m telling you, if you come to vacation here and need dental work, land in Santo Domingo for the first day before going to Cabarete or Punta Cana and get him to take care of your teeth!

i had one of the worst experiences of my life at this clinic. i went in for chin and neck lipo and left after three hours of scraping inside of my face with no fat having been sucked out. their syringes all malfunctioned so they could not remove any of the fat. the doctor who performed it apologized and said "you wont see a difference because we cant get the tools to work" and suggested i find another surgeon that day who could fix what they did. the assistant apologized to me and said it shouldnt be like this. i was crying and terrified on the table as syringe after syringe broke while the canula was still inside of my skin and several doctors struggled and tugged at the long needle. i was humilated and terrified and just wanted to run away. the owner, alfred, refuses to take any responsibility for what happened - even though the doctor who performed it said i should seek another doctor to fix what they could not do, and apologized to me many times. Alfred made zero effort to make the situation right. i understand things happen, but his cold indifference and unwilingness to admit any wrongdoing was the final slap in the face after having to actually pay for this horrible experience. i would strongly suggest you run far away from this clinic.

Without a doubt, the BEST hospital in NYC! Even the food was good. I was there for three days, and everyone was very nice, accommodating, polite, efficient, caring and professional. Even after I was released, the doctors called me at home to check on me, or called me straight back if I left a message. Really first rate treatment!

The ER room is a real joke. They have no system. They make you wait 5-6 hours before they even treat you. No one is taking charge. A true example of horrible medical attention. You’ll wait 8 hours to get a room if you need one. They discuss your medical condition in a waiting room next to everyone. It’s embarrassing. Never again to this place. Never. They should be shut for.

Horrible hospital, some of the older less funded hospitals really get a bad wrap compared to this place. It's supposed to be one of the best in the city but that's if you're in a particular tax bracket. The staff is just pure trash, unfeeling, uncaring...the list could go on. During the pandemic they were swept under an avalanche and rose to the occasion. This I will admit, but post pandemic we the patients are left to fend with burned out, inconsiderate service that needs an overhaul. I get it we're all suffering on both ends, but must patients suffer mistreatment and an absence of care coupled with life threatening illnesses when it isn't necessary?

Lorraine is the absolute best nurse who by the end of 2 weeks felt like family who truly cared for me and wanted me to get answers as much as I did. She is truly special. Susan, Nicole, and jasmine we're also amazing nurses always smiling I wish I could remember every single one but almost everyone I had was amazing, always smiling and was always asking how they could assist me. Every single member of the PT/OT team were like a family and is what happy co-workers look like always laughing and joking with one another. They push us to do what they knew we could do and let us rest when they see we're tired and they celebrate and are just as happy as us when we met our goals. Jennifer is hands down the best case manager you will ever get she will fight for you. Mrs. Lisa is the absolute best nurse practitioner, better then some doctors I have seen on my journey, she has the best bedside manner and actually cares, she will dig and research and give you her best. Dr. Ward is just the coolest doc around and never judged me for wanting to go slow on introducing new medications and hugged me and treated me like a family member every time he saw me. I 110% recommend PAM of covington. Not only was the medical staff amazing but when they found out I was basically allergic to everything they let me smell different cleaning supplies to see what would work for me, never making me feel like a burden, they made me a special bottle of just isopropyl alcohol AND placed a professional air scrubber In my room so I had the cleanest air possible. They went above and beyond for me and I will choose PAM OF COVINGTON every single time.

My husband came to PAM 3 weeks ago after multiple recommendations by people within the hospital industry. We are leaving soon, and wanted to leave a review of all the wonderful staff at the facility.
The therapy teams have been an absolute dream! John with physical therapy is patient, kind and funny. He pushes us to constantly strive for better, and is a huge asset to PAM. Kristen with occupational therapy is also the sweetest woman I've ever met. She is helpful, encouraging and a great listener. Irene with Speech therapy is so incredibly kind and also brilliant. She describes every step of the therapy and why it benefits you. It made us feel so much more at ease in an area of medical care that we had not ever participated in. Kelsey, Noe, Travis and Anika with Respiratory Therapy were wonderful to work with. They moved my husband quickly through all the stages of respiratory therapy, while making sure he was safe, but also pushing him to the next step.
The nursing staff was exceptional during the day, we adored Bonnie, Jordan, Lydia and Matt, and Monica and Natalie were great night nurses. As far as CNA's, Madison, Abby and David were all fantastic! These staff treated us like family, loved on my husband, and gave exceptional service. They constantly asked if we needed anything, were thoughtful with the meds being given, and carefully curated his healthcare to fit the need at the moment. We could not have asked for a better experience!
The administration dealt with any issues that arose quickly and efficiently. We did struggle slightly with some night staff that struggled to find the patience to understand his communication methods, but we brought this to the attention of administration, and they dealt with it immediately. He was given control of his healthcare, and this eased anxiety in so many ways. We are so incredibly blessed that we came to PAM and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an LTAC in the future.

I stayed here for 3 weeks and it was Amazing! Very clean and well kept facility, the Staff is warm and welcoming, You can tell that the Nurses really care and that it's more than just a job to them. The Aides are just as caring and dedicated. And P/T & O/T were very committed to my recovery! Love and going to miss them all!!

Post Acute Medical took excellent care of my mom. From the staff that greeted you, to the nurses, doctors, food service workers, nursing assistants and the front office staff, they were always willing to help and assist in any way. The facility is so clean. The case workers stayed in communication with me on a daily basis, and were so kind and patient with all the questions I had. Thank you all for taking care of my mom and helping her get the care she needed. It’s about the human connection and spirit that helps people heal. PAM’s staff had that plus more! Thanks again!

My husbands best friend has been in the Pam Unit for 2 months. Not once was the room cleaned. Floors were so dirty. They would leave their trash laying in the room and on his bed. There was one RN nurse who was meanest uncaring person I have ever seen! They have now moved him to a nursing facility over 4 1/2 hours away that has awful reviews. It is so sad how people treat sick patients 👎🏻 they don’t even deserve a 1 star

This place is a complete joke. I should of knew the first 10 minutes we were there that it was going to be a nightmare. We got my dad there at 10 pm and when we got to the room it didn’t even have a bed in it. The speech therapy/nutrition employees were one of the rudest people ever. They are unprofessional and not very caring. One day one speech therapist said he could use a straw and have ice and water and the next day another person said he couldn't. The lack of care and compassion by most of the staff is unacceptable and unnecessary. Dr. Motaz B Hossein is very unprofessional and not friendly at all. He is not very compassionate. He doesn’t listen to the patient or the family. He is very stuck up. I hope that Kettering network never recommends this place to anyone in the future. I was actually worried for my father’s well being. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Horrible experience for my father in law. It was dirty and people were zero help with his rehab. I would give this place zero stars if possible. I would never send anyone there. It was suppose to be a step down from hospital care but there was hardly any care at all. He was there for 2 weeks and he made zero improvements. This place should not even be an option to send people too.

My daughter was in this place. It was horrible! They treated her so bad. They were mean people. They would tease & mock her. They rarely spent time with her. She had to beg to have someone help her. I witnessed 2 nurses standing in the door way laughing
