I had a great experience at Pam. As a patient there I was paralyzed from my belly button down and the care and respect I recieved was tremendous. I left Pam with my wounds healed and ready for rehabilitation such a great team thanks Pam!!!!

If I could give no stars I would this place is absolutely horrendous. My husband is paralyzed and they leave him in his bed no attempts at physical therapy nothing to actually care for him. They did a Foley catheter because it was too inconvenient to do his straight catheter. They leave him ignored at the end of a hallway. The environment is dark and dingy. The parking is a whole other issue on its own. It takes 20/30 minutes for him to be attended to after pushing his call button. They shouldn’t be accepting patients who they aren’t equipped to care for

My father is currently residing here after a biopsy gone wrong and over a month in a coma at the ICU. After a rough experience in the ICU, this place is like a breath of fresh air. Consistent care, kind staff and a willingness and eagerness to heal. Mariana especially is one of the most amazing healthcare staff I have ever met.

Dr. Antillon went out of his way to ensure I had an appointment as quickly as possible and x-rayed the teeth I had concerns about. In my case, it turned they did not need treatment, but he assured me that his team would be available should something arise. I call that excellent customer service!

The nurses threaten us to take our phones away when we ask for Patient relations info they say they will have our phone taken away. The nurses pick favourite I ask for help I’m given 10 seconds of attention and told they gotta go but they sit in some patients rooms talking for 3 hours. The Md put in orders to have my blood pressure taken every 4 hours and I’m only getting it at wake up time and bed time and my blood pressure while resting is approx 175/105 resting heart rate roughly 109. I was delighted with the treatment I got at Joe Brant last Wednesday, the 18th of October. I arrived around 4PM with a finger I had cut off (I had it with me) and one that was basically dangling. It was a table saw accident. I was greeted immediately and directed to the waiting room. I did have to ask if they should put my finger on ice with the hopes it could be reattached. That was done. The triage nurse was great (sorry, I didn’t get her name) and the person who wrapped my hand the first time equally as great.
I eventually got to the back (it was a busy time) and Dr. Terry Hatch came in and assessed my fingers. He told me exactly what was happening and what was going to happen. And then set the wheels in motion. I was re bandaged, sent for X rays given tetanus shots, and then Dr. Hatch came back in and began to work on shaving the bone etc and stitching up my fingers. It was decided that the one would not be reattached, but the other one was to be repaired.
I felt very well looked after by the main nurse assigned to me, Dr. Hatch and pretty much everyone else. Dr. Hatch was calm, professional, pleasant and excelled at what he did. All my questions were answered simply and calmly, no matter how silly they may have been. I had some prescriptions for pain and antibiotics, and a referral for an appointment for a plastic surgeon (follow up) before I left.
I can’t say enough about Dr. Hatch and the nursing team in Emergency.
Thank you so much for what you do, and the way you do it.

Dr.Florentino is marvelous from the beginning of reviewing the reviews he had on Google I automatically knew he was the dentist I had to see, from the first visit I advised him of why I came to him I came for RESULTS , I told him how much of my confidence I lost in my life of constant bad breath from poor dental work done before he found the root cause of the problem and gave me different options to choose from with affordable prices, this Dr knew his stuff and he meant business very friendly and well spoken. We finished my job in a short and convenient timing and all I can say is I have my smile my confidence back and I’m just pleased with the results. You want results you want affordable pricing friendly clean environment he’s the guy to go to!

Terrible service. Fetus Ultrasound was half an hour later than my initial appointment. The technician was not considerable or very respectful. Sounded like she would rather order me than asked to do certain movements or change positions, she was also hurting me during the procedure pushing on the stomach too intensely.

I would like to appreciate the help we got from Reynelle and Janelle during the birth process on Sept 12th evening to night . My wife was in lot of pain and it was getting harder to deal with the situation . As soon as we got these two professionals, it became easier . Reynelle was experienced Nurse and she observed my wife and discuss with the doctor what should be the next steps in order to help my wife. She was quick decision maker . Her student was excellent help as well. I could not tell that it was her first time to see delivery. She was so helpful.
I would like to thank both of them for the help they did . They definately made difference and I wish them all the best for future. Keep up the great work.

If I could give this hospital a 0 I would. The nursing care here on the 4th floor so far has been awful for my daughter. Just basic care and concern for patients would be appreciated. Hoping the night crew is better. The nurses are all out at the desk laughing it up and sharing their phone pics. No that I care about that but shouldn’t the patients come first? I’m afraid to leave my adult daughter here and go home because I’m not sure they will even check on her. Seriously. There are 2 people in this room. The patient next to my daughter hasn’t moved in the 3 hours we’ve been in here and no one has checked on her either. I asked for a pillow multiple times and they keep saying they’ll bring it but no one does. It’s not like I’m asking for an extra pillow. She has NO pillow. She needs her arm(that she had surgery on) elevated and I used a blanket. Really? I had to put a blanket behind her head. Thank goodness there are plenty of those on this desk by her bed. A stack of probably 8 blankets for some reason. Very disappointed Cleveland Clinic.

A friend of mine recomended PAM hospital for my son who was in ICU for a week and needed an additional treatment and monitoring of his condition. From his admittion to his discharge, our experience at PAM was excellent. Staff members are professional, kind and caring. It was easy to obtain info and speak with my son's doctors, nurces and case workers. Everybody showed a great deal of concern for the well being of my son, and we both felt that he was safe and in good hands there. Everyone, without exception, was helpful and treated us with understanding, compassion and respect. In addition, my son's room was always clean and sanitised.
Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to your profession, patients and their families.

I was in a coma and on a ventilator due to Covid at Sarasota Memorial last year from January 2022 until the end of March. I was transferred to PAM, where I woke up and recovered for about a month. I felt very blessed to have those on the staff there taking care of me during that life-changing event. I have gone from deaths door and not being able to talk or walk to being fully functional and back at work for over a year now. Thanks again for doing a great job!

This is one of the worst Hospitals my husband was in. You page for someone to help you they don't come for hours. My husband was confined to bed after having a stroke. He ended up with a huge bed sore. They would come in to debrief it and not give hm any pain Medicine. My Husband did NOT have a DNR. One Dr would come visit him when no one was in the room and tell he should have a DNR. He kept saying to him He would not want to live. Two weeks later my husband decided he wanted to die and he Chose to stop Dialysis and was gone two days later. I tried to get him out of that hospital they would not do it. If you value your life or the life of people you love don't take them here.

Failed to admit me, despite my being covered by my international insurance. It seems they are pricey for walk-ins, and the experience is not exactly awesome. I went over to Hospital Beneficiencia Portuguesa for a way faster, cheaper, more attentive care. Recommend you do the same.

Very good hospital!! From parking, reception and emergency room service. Polite and willing people to help and practice their profession well. My father was in the ICU surrounded by a multidisciplinary team who welcomed him very well. Everything clean and organized. It wasn't difficult to talk to the doctors, as they were there when they visited the ICU and then in the room. Dr. Giaseni (sorry if I got the name wrong, cardio), Adriana, psychologist (I suggest she explain it to the companions in the auditorium, she is great)., Gildazio, Bruna, Rodrigo, Fernanda (proactive nurse on the 6th floor), Adriana (a nurse affectionate and very professional on the 6th floor), Dr Flávia and Dr Luiz Fernando among other names that I did not identify. They were precious, attentive and precise. May you continue your missions and be rewarded accordingly. My father left and will continue his appointments with a neurologist at the hospital.
I hope that the hospital preserves this organizational climate and focus on the well-being of those who seek health and human comfort there.

I arrived at the unit reporting my symptoms to a doctor who didn't even touch me or look at my face. He told me to do tests and take a lot of medicine, after waiting for 1 hour, the person who came back with me was another doctor, who didn't introduce himself and arrived saying that my tests didn't show anything and that he would give me medicine for the pain. He redid all the questions because he arrived talking about a symptom that only appeared today and he didn't know anything about what I was feeling, he clearly didn't bother to read my file. He said he could ask me for more tests and that it would take a long time, with a tone of voice and an expression that said he didn't really want to give me the tests. Because of this, I said I preferred not to do it, he left and returned with a prescription containing medicines that I had already taken and I reported to the first doctor that they had no effect and focused on a single symptom that was not my main complaint. When I said that he PULLED the prescription out of my hand and said he wasn't going to give me anything then and that he was going to give me a bunch of tests and I should wait a long time, all of this in an aggressive way. I left as quickly as possible after more than 1 hour of wasting my time being treated like trash.
The nursing team is incredible, extremely competent and professional people, they treated me in the best way and work with the quality and rigor that we expect from an institution like this. However, due to the attitude of the medical team, I intend to never set foot in that place again.

My brother was in this hospital because he had appendicitis and had to get surgery and He said the nurse was nice! I think this place is really nice because it's clean and Its nice looking, I know that because I was there to visit him in the hospital. I also want to thank you for saving my Brother before more consequences happened to him and that he could've died.. but thank God this hospital was there! Once again, thank you for saving him🙏🤍 Also I definitely Recommend this place if you want nice doctors and want to feel less anxious and comfortable here.👍

I used to like this hospital, but every year it gets worse. The ambulance is very slow, you never know how long you will have to wait. Even when Covid was officially over, they still only allowed one parent into the waiting room, but two inside the room, what was the point. But this year they managed to upset me even more. I brought my son who had a leg injury, they did an x-ray and said that it was a severe bruise, despite the fact that the leg was blue and swollen. They gave him a hard boot and crutches (thank you for that). A week later, at a follow-up appointment with the therapist, a second x-ray showed that the leg was broken. Seriously? That is, they did not see the leg fracture in the first picture. How? How can you then trust them regarding other diagnoses? What if they missed something? But this is not the end of the story. The next step was to put a cast on my son’s leg. We were given a referral for an emergency visit to an orthopedist. I called to make an appointment and was told that they could see us in four weeks. To which I objected that after four weeks the leg cast is usually removed and that there was no point in this appointment. So think twice about whether you really want to go to this hospital.

This hospital isn't what it used to be! It seems to be loosing patient focus and fast. We've been a CHLA family for 11 years and I think it's time to switch. My autistic son was SCHEDULED for Dental Surgery. Originally it was supposed to be at 1pm and us be here at 11am. When we got the call from the nurse last night that we needed to be here at 530 AM we were like no one told us! But we got here right on time. We'll let me tell you that they took him upstairs to Surgery PreOp it took over 4 hours to get him into the the surgery room, because he needed to be admitted after surgery and no beds were available. This hospital needs to have better planning for these types of things OBVIOUSLY there will be emergencies that come in over night THAT SHOULD'VE ALREADY BEEN ACCOUNTED FOR!!! Maybe you need more staff and more beds!!! Because to have a child basically starving because you couldn't plan Accordingly is just plainly ridiculous! Then when I spoke to the Charge Nurse in the Surgery Dept she tells me that if my autistic son has an outburst that the anesthesiologist and nurse are there to help give him something to calm down. So basically if my son has an autistic outburst they will just drug him up. I'm like realistically drugging my son just to calm him down because your hospital didn't plan accordingly is uncalled for and unnecessary! Again I am seriously contemplating switching hospitals even though my son is on the Heart Transplant List!!! -A Frustrated Autistic Heart Mom

I'm really upset with the hospital because before I was discharged they gave me the antibiotic and painkiller medication many hours before I was due to make my bill bigger and they went over the insurance budget and they didn't let me see the breakdown
Disastrous administrative staff

What a lack of professionalism:
- nurses calling each other “amiga” while tending patients in their rooms
- residents and nurses rushing into the patients rooms disregarding any privacy and without any education to greet anyone in the room
- nurses setting up a workstation in the rooms hallway, meaning they have no respect for patients or visitors need for peace and quiet
- poor facilities and lack of maintenance

In general, it is a good service that is provided, with the exception of a nurse who, without having any idea of how to channel, gave my wife her arm with a huge bruise. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are clean and comfortable.
The dark one in the rice is the cashier staff, who get annoyed just because, after almost five hours of having discharged a patient, they go to ask them if the documentation to pay is already there. Without any kindness they answer curtly: we are checking, we will call you.

What’s wrong with the doctors at the Emergency? I had chest pain, went there, they seemed annoyed that I chose that hospital. When they saw that my pain was not necessarily caused by heart, they refused/couldn’t explain the plain despite being doctors. I get it, you’re a hospital that deals with the heart but the patient who’s having pain in the chest doesn’t know about what’s going on. Why would I donate money to a place that treats you like you’re an idiot for showing up. If I enter the ER, it’s cause I’m feeling extremely bad and it’s an emergency, just do your job, respect your oath and stop acting like patient is wasting your time.

Terrible care in this hospital, I was hospitalized on May 19, I
They channeled me to medicate me and left a piece of what appears to be a needle inside my right wrist where they put the channel. I am already in the city where I live. They do not want to take responsibility, even though I have to undergo surgery due to their negligence, I have to lose days of work, I have to lose time and the trauma that all this is causing me, they want me to travel to Acapulco again, generating MORE EXPENSES and more stress about the situation, so that according to them they can take care of me!!!

Terrible, terrible 😡 service
We went to the emergency room for my son who was having seizures and to treat him they asked us for a deposit of 5000.
Afterwards, they didn't even do a checkup as it is, they just put the oximeter on him and took his temperature and the doctor on duty told me that I had to go to the pediatrician but that he was going to charge me 1500 in addition to the 5000 deposit
Because he is a specialist and that is aside, it also took about 40 minutes for the pediatrician to arrive and he didn't check my son, he just asked the doctor how my son was doing.
He asked me what medication he was taking and he just stared at his cell phone for about an hour,
In the end they just adjusted the medication and didn't even know what the medication was.
We just went to give away 6500
We arrived around 11 pm and left.
At 2 in the morning only with the medication adjustment. Appalling

I have been trying to communicate for an hour but they cut off my phone, I already tried with emergencies with the laboratory and with the advisor (they give 3 options) the lady did not want to charge me, I was sick waiting to leave, and then she did not give me the password to see my study. I was surprised that many have said the same, the attention at reception is very bad. Excellent medical staff and x-rays

They sent me from Qualitas there to check the car I had, they denied me access and told me that the only one was in the center. When my adjuster told me that he had never had a problem and when I went to the one in the center it also seemed strange to them that they denied me entry. The reception lady with very bad treatment

The hospital is good, but in my opinion it can improve more. There are doctors and others not so nice and thoughtful. The reception is good, some people (receptionists) are polite, friendly ... The same in relation to the security guards. There should be more integration, communication among the coworkers. As I told you it could be better, even in its standard procedure, being more effective,

I was told by a friend that you can get dental work done at a fraction of the cost in Tijuana. I was skeptical about having a dentist from another country working inside my mouth but these dentist and specialists are great. I felt there was more concern for my well-being than quite a few dentist here in California. Offices are super clean and they have everything a dentist office here in the states have. I had several root canals, caps and a bridge done and they were able to do all this without any pain. Amazing to me I had neglected and put off dental care for too long.
They are all wonderful people at samaritan dental even Sylvia who schedules your appointments and makes it all happen is great. I would recommend this place to anyone including my wife who is next to have some work done.
Thanks to everyone at Samaritan

This was an incredible experience, I got quoted for a bunch of dental work in Utah and it was over $10,000 but here at Samaritan Dental they said they could do it for $3,000! I saved a ton of money just driving down and then back to Utah the same day. It was super clean and professional, the dentists speak English, and the work was impressive, considering I had to get a filling and two root canals with crowns. I'll go here for every dental procedure in the future! 🙏

I first used Samaritan for fillings in 2018 on the recommendation of a friend. No problems with the fillings since. Life brought me back to southern California in 2022 and I needed some dental work so I contacted Silvia and she was happy to accommodate me.
I am not an American so the decision to cross the border is an easy one. The US healthcare system is a total scam and of course dentistry is no different.
Every person I have dealt with has been polite, professional and knowledgable. I have been to 2 different facilities, both immaculate and orderly. I have no problems with any treatments so far, all done for about 40% of what it would have cost here in the US
I would highly recommend this organisation

Terrible!! The triage staff are rude and the doctor who treated us doesn't even answer the greeting. They lack empathy. If one day they want to get certified, they should start with the staff. You can see the hatred they have for their work, which they project into customer service. The only good people are those in the goal and the laboratory!

Absolutely horrible place I do not recommend sending your loved ones here. Before my dad passed we sent him there in hopes that they would take care of him and treat him well because he was very very ill to the point of needing 24/7 care. But, we were terribly wrong the rooms were absolutely disgusting and not being cleaned even the chairs had so much build up I had to deep clean them and the room. The bed they had him in as well was gross and sticky. I unfortunately had to do their job and clean his room everyday. I unfortunately had to also monitor his colostomy bag because they would let it get so full that when they would finally clean when i asked that it overflowed and spilled on the floor. I had help them clean it up because they left it for hours and took them and hour and a half just to get the bag in the first place after i asked them to remove the old filled one with a clean new one. The list goes on unfortunately. In his stay there he also got bed sores i would ask them to help move him often and put pillows under him so that he wouldn’t get bed sores and they never did. The hospital he was at before this was osu. Every hour or two like clockwork osu’s staff would turn him and put pillows under him so he wouldn’t. PAM failed to do this even when I asked especially when I would leave they slacked at taking care of him. I had to move him myself some so that he wouldn’t be uncomfortable. He was in the hospital for months unfortunately and later passed. I’m here 4 months later after his passing to share this because I don’t want this to happen to anyone again. My father didn’t deserve to be treated the way he was at PAM especially being a veteran that served for our country.

They took excellent care of my momma! In a time when time was critical the staff was very quick with their response time. My momma was able to return to her home in a very reasonable amount of time. With out the care and dedication of the staff here she would not be back home with us.

My husbands best friend has been in the Pam Unit for 2 months. Not once was the room cleaned. Floors were so dirty. They would leave their trash laying in the room and on his bed. There was one RN nurse who was meanest uncaring person I have ever seen! They have now moved him to a nursing facility over 4 1/2 hours away that has awful reviews. It is very difficult to schedule an exam, whether by phone call (it dropped 5 times in the same morning), WhatsApp (you wait more than 40 minutes for an interaction with an attendant and if it takes less than 5 minutes to respond the service is terminated) or even via the app . I hope they observe the message, consider it, and try to at least adjust the messaging service.

I leave on record my dissatisfaction with Dr. Flavia Salgado's attendant who called the normal password first, as I am 70 years old, I was the first to arrive, I got priority password 1 and was the second to be consulted. Do you know what priority is? This occurred on November 23, 2023. This attendant could undergo retraining.
