From October 10-12, I was under medical treatment at the hospital's urology department. I only had to wait a little over a month for the operation under spinal anesthesia. I can only praise both the doctors and the nursing staff (there was one exception). Their professional preparation and human attitude made it much easier to get through the often vulnerable and humiliating situations. Since I am otherwise in good physical condition, I tried to be a "good patient" as well, but those who were more down than me were also treated fairly patiently. Could this be the "ruined" Hungarian healthcare system? Or was I the only one being given VIP treatment without my knowledge, as part of a secret conspiracy?

Just a short talk and that's it! Dr. Papp Gyorgy had not given me the appropriate time or attention for my medical condition. 6min in and out!

I highly recommend Duna Medical Centre. Professional, efficient, pristine offices, kind english speaking staff, state of the art machine (mammogram tomosynthesis). Dr Anett Szomják. Everything was super easy.

Today I visited the clinic twice, I liked the good, warm attitude, and of course the services provided were 5 stars. I did an ultrasound of the veins, an ECG, and an ultrasound of the mammary glands. If you're a tourist, for your safety please DON'T go there. No English, not helpful, non professional and most of all they insisted that I pay although I was explaining to them that I have a proof that I have a European insurance card. After a lot of time, they called the only doctor that could speak English and he explained to me that there was a misunderstanding because they didn't believe that I was a citizen of the European union. How is that possible while I gave them many time my ID with belgian nationality and proof of European insurance??? The second doctor also gave me pain killers and apologized that the first doctor didn't give me any and didn't explain me what happened. I will file a complaint mentioning the name of the incompetent nurse and doctor because it's not normal to be so incompetent while having a big "European union" flag in front of the hospital while not knowing the applicable rules. I had to stay there until midnight to solve it while I was I pain. My attempt to give them my phone with Google translate where useless because they didn't want to help. We have been unable to find a doctor who will accept English-speaking patients and I HAD to use the hospital emergency today. My daughter was ill. I didn’t know which area to take her - adult or children’s - she is 15. The intake clerk downstairs was obviously a bit irritated that I didn’t understand her but she was willing to use her phone to translate and instructed me to go upstairs to the children’s ward. I was a bit confused because there isn’t a check-in window in what appears to be a waiting room. You must press a buzzer next to the closed door. I had to watch someone else who came in after 🫣 to see what to do. The nurse didn’t speak English but the PA (or perhaps she was a doctor) spoke well enough that we managed. (I got the impression that if we had been Ukrainian, we would have had to go somewhere else for treatment. But we’re American and have foreigner’s insurance.) We were treated kindly and well. Fortunately it wasn’t a busy morning so my daughter was seen immediately. I was also pleased by how nice the lady at the pharmacy downstairs was. She spoke English and made sure I understood how to take the medicine prescribed and also that I had a copy to give to insurance for reimbursement. I didn’t know to ask for that and am grateful.

Dr. Florescu Nicolae performed my mother's coronary angiography. The anesthesia was not done well, severe pain of course, he didn't even care that he almost killed his mother!! The tension had dropped to 6!! How is it possible that you don't care?? I do not recommend this clinic in any way! Shame on this individual! The world complains about this doctor because he is very bad! He should look for another job if he doesn't like this one and behaves badly with patients!!!

How did I end up paying 320 lei for 100 ml of ultrasound gel (which normally costs 1 lei) to Dr. Deutsch Laurentiu, a urologist. I came urgently because I was passing through Sibiu, to this polyclinic, to Mr. Dr. Urologist Deutsch because I had an infection/inflammation, according to some blood tests, and in the last set of tests, my PSA test had exploded, indicating a prostate infection. I had no other abnormalities (frequent, interrupted urination, etc., only infection, according to PSA). Mr. Doctor said that it is good to do an ultrasound, to see the situation of the urinary system (and the prostate was also needed, which is included). At the end, I was given a payment note, which I had to pay, and a prescription that included: - Pelvi Blue - a food supplement that has no value for an infection, you're basically throwing your money away if you take it - Omnic Tocas - an anti-blocker that is given when you have difficulty urinating (this was not my case). For infection, the prostate is measured (something the doctor did not do, although he did an ultrasound) and antibiotics are prescribed.

I called the doctor through the Medlife clinic, after the consultation she recommended a series of hormonal tests, which I had to do on certain days of CM. Since the day I was supposed to do the tests fell on the weekend, I contacted her through the clinic to ask her if it would be ok to do the tests on Friday/Monday or if I should wait another month. She spoke very badly on the phone, even yelled at me, reproaching me that she mentioned in the office how I should proceed, why I wasn't paying attention, and hung up on me. That we are supposed to go to Kaufland..., I don't understand, one says she can and the other is a rude, disgusting woman, I can't call her a nurse. How to treat relatives of patients? How serious? I'm a psychologist and I can't afford to treat people like this, to anyone. This has nothing to look for in a hospital, you need to communicate tactfully and work with humility in hospitals. So far, all the receptionists I've talked to on the phone have spoken to me in an amazing jerk/disgust style. It's a private hospital, but they treat you like a public hospital, maybe even worse. The doctors and assistants are all very nice and helpful.

I regularly visit you for blood tests. It feels good to enter the hospital, it is clean and calm. The appointment is always fine. Everyone is polite from the entrance to the examiner. The examination assistant is kind and patient. The Chief Medical Officer is happy to answer my questions, we always part with a smile. I will receive the findings by email the next day.

Didn’t have nice experience in this hospital at all! Although the doctors and nurses (some of them) were super nice we spent altogether 13 hours in the general surgery ward in the 5th floor and all they did in this time is took blood and urine analysis and did ultrasound diagnostic. It was 37 degrees outside and the person in pain did not drink or eat all this time!!! When I went arguing with them it turned out that the result was long time ready, they just didn’t feel like calling us, of course the reason of pain wasn’t found and we were sent home without any treatment or diagnosis. Not only they left the person in pain they MADE him wait the whole day after which he got worse.

I was referred by my family doctor with a problem related to water balance. I spent two days in the internal medicine department on the 4th floor of building B as an ambulatory patient. The four stars are because, despite the circumstances, the nurses and doctors stayed where they are and try to make the best of the situation, but it cannot be denied that the conditions are terrible. The department can only provide three meals a day, which is surprisingly good compared to the conditions, bedding, a bed, depending on the supply, infusion and adult diapers, medical examinations, water and electricity. Everything else must be brought, including toilet paper, bottled water, cutlery, hand soap, and towels. As an outpatient, for a short time, for a complete examination, it is worth it, but not for an incontinent patient, and I definitely do not recommend hospitalization for an incontinent AND problematic patient. Several people wrote that the nurses do not deal with the patients, are not helpful and treat the patients like prisoners. Yes, this is true in many cases, but personally, if I had to work in such conditions, for such wages, I would behave in the same way, if not worse.

Very nice, small hospital with very friendly staff. The equipment is nice, a large bathroom and toilet. I was here for surgery for almost a week and it's a shame that they don't behave like this in all hospitals. There are very nice doctors here. This review is really a big thanks and dedication to Weronika Sowa, my coordinator for months of preparation. Incredibly professional, friendly, accomodating to all requests, responsive and supportive with fantastic communication. Big part of my decision to proceed with Allmedica was because of the experience with Weronika. Allmedica are beyond lucky to have such an impeccable dedicated professional! (Considering coming to Nowy Targ was the most inconvenient option of all - but actually worked out perfectly) Secondly to Dr Lukasz Worchol who performed my axillary surgery. Straightforward, professional and even diagnosed other potential contradictions. I would use his services again. The entire Allmedica team were competent and supportive, even though we were reliant on translations between polish and English. Everything was super smooth and the Anesthesia team - the best, it's really down to the general anesthesia that made my Post-surgery experience shockingly great! I ended up adding additional medical services last minute (thanks to Weronika) dental work with the Dr Skrzypek and the hygienist- absolutely fantastic work. She managed to provide some insights and answers to potentially other issues outside of dental diagnosis. Super grateful. This clinic is a joke, an appointment with a dermatologist scheduled for September was then moved by Allmedica to December, on November 10, I received another call from Allmedica informing me that the visit had been moved to February!!! I only visit the hospital emergency when it is very urgent, unfortunately I have never left satisfied. They didn't give me proper examinations, the drugs prescribed for inflammation in the body had side effects of "possible formation of inflammation in the body". If you have to call for the results after 3 days, you have no chance to call. When I passed out in the corridor, the lady from the cafe upstairs had to help me, because two of the sisters had a lunch break, so why should they help me, and the third one preferred not to see me. There is no point in solving anything with management - they will always turn everything against you and sweep it under the carpet.

Recently I took my friend from Poland to this hospital, the doctor demanded 3000 Czech crowns, explaining at the same time that if she was Czech, the service would be free.
