No one expects to get injured and have surgery however this happens to a lot of us. I'm very grateful for the fantastic treatment, care and attentive guidance from pre to post opp over a span of 12 months. The staff are excellent and took extra care of me, special thanks to Mr Mellor, Omyini and all their teams for turning what has been a physical trauma into a strength. Highly recommended.

I had my surgery at this hospital a week ago, and I had a great experience; from the pre-op assessment, the nurse was fantastic and kind. On the day of the surgery, everything started on time; the room was impeccable, and the staff was kind and attentive. They made me feel safe at every minute, and after my dressings changed, I also received the best care possible from the nurses. I felt so good overall; I got the best surgeon, Mr. Floyd, and this hospital experience at every stage was excellent! Thank you!

I can't thank all the staff at The Christie enough. I had a minor procedure with them and during my time there felt truly cared for and supported. I was kept up to date every step of the way, my doctor and the nurses all listened to me, answered questions and I'll be forever grateful for their help!

I cannot praise The Christie too much. Although I'd rather not have to visit there, the amazing team make it so much easier and I actually look forward to seeing them. They are efficient, caring, compassionate, honest and help me so much. If I want to talk, someone is always available, my specialist nurse always gets back to me if I have an issue or need results. I had knee meniscus arthroscopy surgery at RNOH hospital in Stanmore (via the Private Care Unit) and I was truly satisfied with the results. All of the staff were genuinely amazing in helping me feel welcomed, relaxed and taken care of. ***FYI, I found this hospital through the NHS hospitals reviews website as being the best in the UK when dealing with joints issues like mine.*** Special thanks to Dr Chethan Jayadev (my surgeon) and his team in the operation theatre. Also special thanks to the Senior Nurse Sima who made sure everything is prepared and ready for me before and after the operation - she was amazing in every given moment even when I was leaving the hospital she made sure I can hop in the car in a safe for my knee way... I mean wow it does not cost much to be nice to others. Frankly speaking my experience as being positive matched with the reviews I read about this hospital few years ago. It is nice to see that they are keeping up with the reputation and level of service. I wish you very best if you are planning to go for a surgery at this hospital and I am sure whichever path you choose either funded through NHS or though Private Health Insurance Provider you will be treated very well - saying that as I had the opportunity to see and experience both pathways and levels of treatments. ❤️👍

I recently had a spinal procedure under the care of Mr Leong. I am extremely grateful for the level of care and attention I received, from being offered alternatives before I was ready to take the plunge with surgery, to the surgery itself and after care. It was lovely to feel complete faith in my consultant but also to hear other doctors speak so highly of him. The whole team at RNOH were so helpful and attentive and I am truly grateful to Mr Leong, for his kind & caring attitude and for getting me back on my feet again.

Posting on behalf of my unwell partner, Helen. I had an email on 21st September cancelling her appointment in the ‘long covid clinic’ (she doesn’t have long covid…) and assuring a deposit refund in due course. It’s now two weeks later and no sign of the refund, which is not an inconsiderable amount of money. Very concerned about why they can’t seem to access our money (and other peoples by the look of it) to return it to us. We also thought it very bad practice that the cancellation email was a ‘no reply’ address and they don’t appear to have another email address. I have contacted them via their website contact form but of course have received no reply. I will now be contacting Citizens Advice regarding how to progress with this issue. In Conclusion: BEWARE.

This clinic is appalling. The only good thing about this clinic was the doctor who I saw who has now left - speaks volumes! My appointment was cancelled weeks ago and I STILL haven’t received a refund. I never received a copy of the doctor’s letter and neither did my local GP surgery which is partly what I paid for in my initial fee.

Recovering from a total knee replacement and could not have been in safer hands than at Beardwood. All the nurses who looked after me were a credit and nothing was too much trouble for them. I was very well looked after and I am sure will recover more quickly as a result.

Everyone from the receptionist through to the surgeon made my stay a brilliant experience. The nursing staff (different on all 3 days) were nothing short of being Angels. The catering staff 1st class. Please note your full English breakfast was excellent. The night shift team were brilliant, nothing was to much trouble. Overall a 1st class performance in my opinion, thank you so much.

Great hospital where I was well taken care of during my ankle surgery. The only slight criticism is please wait after knocking before entering the room, a couple of times the person came in straight after knocking when I hadn't given my consent, one time I was not dressed. Other than that I had a lovely stay and everyone was really friendly and nice.

Wonderful level of care from the pre op assessment all the way through my stay. Each and every member of staff I came across truly cared and did everything they could to make me and my stay comfortable. Also very welcoming to my partner who visited everyday.

My whole experience at Shirley Oaks was the best I could have expected. I was a patient at Shirley Oaks when it first opened in the late 80's and it has since then become my hospital of choice. From the senior nursing staff to the catering and housekeeping staff, everyone of them where extremely professional, caring and friendly. I enjoyed my stay on the ward. Many, many thanks to all who looked after me.

All of the staff were very courteous, attentive, well presented, and exceptionally friendly. At all times I was made fully aware of what was going on in preparation for my operation. The whole experience was 5 star. I was very pleased to receive a follow up call following my discharge from the hospital.

From the moment I arrived to the discharge staff were caring, warm, attentive and supportive. Very professional and I felt like they wanted me to have the best experience they could provide. From Professor London right through to the gentleman who provided my food, everyone did an awesome job.

Couldn't fault any of the staff for their professionalism, friendliness and reassuring manner they showed me during my short time with them. Everyone from the receptionist to the consultant were absolutely fantastic. Only one gripe I have is the limited parking on site. We were lucky to get a space but the alternative was a pay & display at a local supermarket. I find this a bit off considering the money I was paying for the treatment!!

The whole team at HCA Wilmslow are absolutely amazing. They quality of care and attention to detail is something I’ve never seen before. Special mention to nurse Rachel who was absolutely fabulous and took such good care of me both before and after my surgery.

Due to the unfortunate pressure on the NHS it's necessary to have to fall back on private care on occasions. My Mum was in this situation and went here for a joint replacement operation. Impressed by respectful and professional manner in which she was cared for. Building interior itself is modern and completely spotless.

I was looked after extremely well at The Park Hospital, and treated with respect at all times. My room was very comfortable and the staff were always on hand for any needs I had, not to mention a joke or two! The food was lovely, a good choice of menu and always beautifully cooked and presented. So my thanks to all of the staff who looked after me, with special appreciation to Mr Henley and his team who were outstanding.

Excellent team. Everyone were professional, did their jobs with so much care, empathy, and expertise, all with cheerful faces. The hospital is super clean, the best I've seen in the UK. Overall, I I've them 10 🌟 Sending a special thanks to Dr Mamidanna, Nurse Ola, Ana, Kumba and Tia. My meal of prawn and mayonnaise sandwich, vanilla ice cream and hot chocolate was like something from a 5* hotel. Yes,certainly. My surgery took place on 17/10/23. I was treated inhumanly on the day of admission. I am a diabetic patient. From the time of admission till the time of operation I was not offered any food. It was almost 3-4 hours without food. I was shivering. once I come back from the OT my husband went outside to buy food for me. Only then I had some food before my release from the hospital. I had an follow up appointment on 28/11/23 with Miss Madi which I have attended. She didn't look into my eye with care. She was in a hurry to finish my appointment. It was less than 2 minute. She was busy with her mobile phone. If I knew this earlier I wouldn't come long way for this appointment as I have waited long after the surgery for this follow up appointment. I will definitely not recommend anyone to be seen by this Consultant.

was a really great process from start to finish. good discussions and advice with the consultant / surgeon. discussion from anaesthetist was very brief but reassuring nonetheless. everyone at the hospital for consultations to overnight stay was excellent. and post op care with physio is great too.

Lister hospital is really good. The service was top notch. Staff are great, welcoming with a smile on their face at reception. The nurses and doctors were also super kind. The nurses made sure every small details were checked twice. I feel like i have been very well looked after. I had 2 procedures under GA and honestly everyone was so nice. The room was clean with a nice view of the bridge. Excellent choice of food. felt safe and in good hands. Thanks to everyone at Lister Hospital Chelsea

Very good hospital - I was there for a Day Procedure, but it went very smoothly. You do feel assisted and reassured all the way, from when you enter the hospital to when you leave the hospital. Nurses are very caring and attentive. It has been helped me getting through the day and would certainly put the Lister Hospital onto my top hospital list should I ever need to go back to hospital (I hope never again though !! Hospital is nobody's cup of tea :)

I have recently had a total hip replacement, carried out at the Wellington Hospital. I found the standard of care excellent at each stage, from the scan, to the pre admission meeting to my inpatient stay. The nursing staff were kind, supportive and friendly. My room was comfortable and the food was amazing,. Before I went I read the reviews on here and was surprised by the range of comments. I think some people have very unrealistic expectations of a hospital stay. This place is great!!!

I visited the Wellington for a scan and consultation. From the first meeting with the reception staff, everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful. The staff answered all my questions clearly and in the right amount of depth. I felt able to trust them immediately and my confidence grew as the process moved forward. I have no hesitation in recommending the Wellington as a first class centre for excellent healthcare

Recently went in as a day case for a diagnostic procedure. From start to finish they made my time there almost enjoyable!!! The reception team, nurses , theatre staff and the Consultant were all brilliant. Communication was second to none and the teams we are all straightforward and uncomplicated. A credit to Fairfield Independent Hospital.

Absolutely shambles of a place can't run outpatient clinics on time .. Seems there time is more important than yours BE AWARE... It like there doing you a favour by operating clinics on a weekend ..!!! Unhelpful staff AVIOD ...

I am completely disgusted at how they view their patients. It seems as though the medical staff only show the care that comes with their job when you are employed or local to the surrounding area. If you are simply an independent carer for your autistic child then they will cast you aside, simply sending you somewhere else without even asking about your condition or symptoms. They truly know how to make you feel like a burden, as if you shouldn't have even stepped foot on the premises and I truly believe they are aware of this. I am a widowed Catholic mother of three with no support, visual issues and am single handedly guiding and aiding my autistic child through life. I come here for extrema pain in my back and they simply send me away after an uncaring talk. The medical staff and those incharge can easily solve this problem by climbing down from their ivory tower and acknowledging that we are all humans and are all entitled to the care we so rightly deserve. Absolutely foul.

I had and continue to receive a wonderful service. The surgeon Paul T explained the results, the next steps. His PA is prompt in responding to questions. The surgeon, PA and nursing staff are flexible, put me at ease. Never felt rushed. The facilities are what you would expect from an independent health provider. I cannot find fault with the staff as you walk off the street and the facilities.

Excellent hospital with great teamwork and service. I had knee arthroscopic meniscectomy surgery to fix my torn meniscus. Superb surgeon and anaesthetist. The hospital staff was excellent; they were friendly, helpful, and constantly available when needed. The food they served was excellent. A big thank you to Mr. Marston and his team, the anaesthetist, nurses, physiotherapist, and everyone that supported me during my stay. Thank you very much for looking after me! God Bless.

Lovely reception staff, lovely nurses and wonderfully professional consultant. Had to wait many hours for surgery without food or water but that sometimes cannot be helped, as surgery times vary so much patient to patient. Very clean with a nice waiting area too for relatives. Would recommend this hospital.

I felt I was in great hands from start to finish & very much appreciated the care shown. Everyone from the consultant, ward team & theatre team did their very best to provide fantastic care. The physiotherapists were also fantastic & really worked hard to get me mobile & discuss any worries. Having such a great, knowledgeable, caring & welcoming team really does put a very stressful situation at ease - The team at the Albyn is second to none.

All the nurses and other staff were really nice to me. Always making sure I was ok before and after the surgery. My only questions are about my surgery which will be discussed with my doctor in a few weeks. But overall I had a good staying at Albyn. Thank you.

I just want to say that Dr. Parkes is extremely attentive and professional. He knows English is not my native language, so he made a conscious effort to slow down his speech to ensure I understood what he was saying. Throughout the process, all the nurses and staff at the front desk were also very attentive and friendly. This has been an amazing experience for me, probably the best I've ever had in a hospital.

Awful service, took over 45 mins for a blood test as the staff were just chatting behind the counter. The place wasn't even busy. Staff were incredibly rude too. Better off using the NHS. Avoid at all costs.

I would like to thank all the staff at The London Independent Hospital who were involved in my treatment. I was informed regularly of any updates to my surgery. Dr Jones was amazing and I am so great full to have finally been listened to after years and years of pain. Dr Jones understood this was not normal investigated and treated me. Thank you all for making me feel welcome, at ease and felt like i was in the best care.

The attention I received from reception to the consultant was first class. Timing was excellent and the whole experience was efficient and comfortable. This was reassuring as I was a little concerned about my investigations. I cannot praise the hospital highly enough on this occasion.

A big thank you to everyone involved in my care at the London Bridge Hospital. Cannot recommend the hospital enough! Mr. Ember and Tessa are always easy to talk to. Despite his busy schedule, I never felt that Mr. Ember was rushing in our appointments. So very patient in explaining every thing which made me feel 100% confident in him. The nurses were brilliant! RGN Bambhi (Abhi) Q. went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my admission. She has already finished her night shift when I arrived but she still went to my room, answered all my questions and made feel comfortable. She also made sure to check on me after discharge. RGN CJ looked after me, her bright personality is truly refreshing but stayed professional the whole time. She made sure I was well looked after before during and after my procedure. Additionally, RGNs Dana and Gladys, were also exceptionally kind and knowledgeable. The food was impressive! Catering staff were always so polite. Was kinda bummed that coffee was instant coffee(not a big deal tho). Overall, I am extremely grateful to the whole London Bridge team!

I was a day patient for a knee surgery. The hospital staff is absolutely fantastic and friendly, they are always there to help you and to answer questions. The food was good beside I was not able to eat it all (i had anesthetic side effects) and the facilities were immaculate! Thanks for making it such as smooth process.

I attended the Urgent Care Clinic at The Princess Grave hospital and I was blown away at the level of service offered. All the team, medical and support staff were outstanding.
