World class facility with professional administrative and nursing staff, a pleasure to work out of. Amazing that is in a regional community.

Husband went in for a minor procedure with an epidural. The admission forms were filled out accurately but once we were admitted the nursing staff did not understand what the term “ as required” meant when associated with a dosage regime even though we explained it twice politely. The senior nurse was aggressive and hostile tried to gaslight us, accused us of not knowing what we were talking about, effectively implying that we were stupid. So after the staff trying to insult, demean and belittle us, without success by the way, we foolishly assumed the matter as settled. Silly us! The next day, post surgery, a hostile nurse charged into my husband’s room and “told him off”. Unfortunately variations of the disrespectful behaviour continued. I arrived to find my husband upset, agitated and distressed. I came to the conclusion that it would be in his best interest to leave. It was a very unpleasant experience which we would not recommend to anyone. Needless to say we will never go to a St Vincent’s Hospital again! My husband felt disrespected, bullied and harassed.He was right. That is exactly what happened. Leaving resolved the problem with a minimum of fuss.

After staying overnight with my son for an Adenotonsillectomy surgery, I'm afraid to say that I was extremely disappointed with our overall experience. Although St Vincent's was not our first choice, we did not have the option of going to our preferred hospital due to the surgeons availability and the urgent nature of our request. Needless to say, I was not all that fussed initially as I have been an inpatient at many private hospitals and have never had a bad experience. However, unfortunately, St Vincent's did not live up to it's expectations and I've received better care at public hospitals over the years. For a start, the "room service" which requires the patient to phone the kitchen and place the order of their choice sounded like a fantastic idea to begin with however, they failed to advise that the kitchen won't always answer when you call and upon placing your order, there is up to a 45 minute wait to receive your meal. Too bad if your child is hungry or thirsty as we were trying to get through to them to order our breakfast for 1.5 hours with no success only to be told we could not go home until my son had something to eat - not sure how they expect that when there is no food for him to eat?! There's also no set meals so if you can't get through on the phone to place your order, you simply don't eat! Also, the food in general was of poor quality. All the "hot" meals we ordered were served cold and utterly tasteless. My son was in severe pain following the surgery and vomited during the middle of the night which warranted the call for a nurse as his bed sheets were all soiled. Whilst a nurse arrived promptly to our call for help, to clean up the mess, she simply pulled off the soiled sheets, threw a towel on the floor to cover the vomit which spilled off the bed and left the room, leaving my son to sleep in a half made bed with hardly any blankets. The next morning on our discharge day, there was only one nurse rostered on for the entire paediatric unit and she advised that her shift finished at 11am and she has to close the ward down which means all patients had to be discharged by 11am. Too bad if there were complications and your kid was required to extend their stay!! I don't blame the nurses as it's not their fault they are the only ones rostered on and the one who was, was doing her best considering. However, I am incredibly disgusted with the deplorable service provided by the hospital in general, considering we pay an arm and a leg for the best possible health care - it's a disgrace. I will never go back to that hospital and will stick to our preferred option in the future.

My son aged 6 had a Adenotonsillectomy which required an overnight stay. The Children's ward was cheerfully decorated in a dinosaur theme which also included a games area. The nurses were lovely and very thorough. We had a lovely experience. A great hospital and a fantastic Children's ward.

Recently had surgery and spent the night. Thanks to all the caring nurses, Kara, Sam and Emma. They truly care for what they do and it's a reflection on the hospital.

I had a 4 night stay after total knee replacement surgery in June 2023. It was the first time ever in hospital I did not mind being there. Meals are 'room service' on demand and were consistently very good. The nursing staff was lovely, attentive and communicative. Admin was atop everything. The facility was clean, tidy, and well maintained. Well done St Vincents Kew.

I had the best experience with really lovely staff and a room to myself as requested. Jill the receptionist is amazing and came to say hi after we had a great chat at check in. The food was incredible and I don’t want to go home. Extremely impressed with my stay here. Carolyn the manager is also lovely. Thank you for looking after me.

Really odd billing experience.... Started getting weird texts saying that I owe Cabrini $12.00 with no invoice or explanation. I hadn't been to Cabrini in over a year and I thought it was a scam. After a few more texts i call them and they say they did an internal audit from my procedure from the year before and that they under quoted me and under billed me then and expected me to pay now. I know it is only $12. But I found this really odd... isn't it their responsibility to make sure they are quoting the right price before the procedure and when payment is made? Anyway... just be careful because who knows who else this has happened too and for how much!? Just felt very unprofessional to chase up $12.00 without explaining a year later!

Went for a gastroscope and most of the nurses were amazing, doctors were too! Went there in the morning and unfortunately my partner couldn’t pick me up before 3.30 pm. One of the nurses (don’t remember her name) a bit older, was absolutely rude to me and over the phone with my partner and to me again when I told her that I was happy to wait in the waiting room in front of the desk after the procedure, and let someone else come in. She was very pushy in a bad way and need me gone before 3pm. Also, when I got notified for the procedure, few weeks prior the procedure, I completely forgot to reply back to a very stressful weeks of work and family situation.. got a phone call from the same rude lady and she pretended to know “why I didn’t reply to the message” .. Not sure why she had to act like that.. but I’m sure wasn’t the first time.

The staff here have been amazing. Wonderful nurses and staff. Highly recommend. The ambience and staff are positive and happy. Loved my experience here. Thank you 💜😀

A great hospital made so by its staff. The nurses make this a five star place to be (even for those of us who loathe hospitals). The compassion, attention to detail, and FOLLOW THROUGH on things which are promised to take place. Meet anyone in the mingling area outside and there isn’t a bad word to be said for all it’s arenas of practice from mental health, alcohol counselling, pain control and so forth. Management must be doing something right because staff are actually happy doing what they’re doing, which has the obvious follow on effect of stellar patient treatment. Where other places are found wanting, your loved ones will be well taken care of here.

From my wife Christine McKinsley. Had a knee replacement done on 17 aug by Dr Weber. The first few days i wasn't sure how I felt but they discovered my blood was low so after transfusion I got along in leaps and bounds. My heartfelt thanks to the doctor and nursing staff in medical ward and also to the physio staff. You all do a wonderful job. The catering and cleaning staff nursing staff etc were all so friendly and professional. I was in Portsea Ward Thank for taking care of me whilst I was there and I won't hesitate to recommend Beleura hospital to one and all. I recently had a total Hip Replacement at Beleura Private Hospital and also did inpatient Rehabilitation on Mc Crae ward. I cannot thank every single person enough. From the moment I walked in the doors the professionalism and care I received was second to none. I would highly recommend Orthopaedic Surgeon Brad Crick he has done an excellent job for me personally ( thankyou so much ) All the Drs, Nurses, OTs, Physiotherapist, Porters were absolutely amazing they all worked so well as a team and made me feel welcomed and safe ( Thankyou ) Thanks also goes to the catering team the food was excellent ( my trays always went back empty 🙂 ) and the staff were lovely and friendly. All the cleaners were friendly and easy to talk to everyone and did a wonderful job. I'm currently doing outpatient Rehabilitation there and still finding everyone so nice friendly and helpful. Treated at the old Peter Mac many years ago and it was beyond excellent. But my experience at the new Peter Mac includes a lost referral, lost history, lost blood results, lost u/s results, relevant medication information not given, existing medical conditions potentially impacted by proposed treatment not considered or discussed, and incorrect information documented that contradicts what my GP sent to them AND which contradicts reports from when I was there before!. Trying to get it sorted out - impossible.

Subjected to absolutely disgusting treatment at this hospital. Elective Surgery Manager was rude , terse and has no people skills what so ever. As expected when I lodged a request for explanation the Cancer Surgery Manager chose to disregard key facts and dismissed me completely. Patients aren’t just Medicare numbers . Avoid this hospital at all costs .

The peter mac staff are all awesome from the security and domestic staff to the teams of surgeons and nurses who helped me through the whipple procedure i had back on 15th March . I cant say thankyou enough. The ongoing post operation treatment has also been fantastic.

I had an excellent experience at St Vincent's. During admission and discharge the Admin staff were friendly and efficient. The nursing staff were very professional and made me feel comfortable both prior to and post-surgery. Physios didn't make me feel like I had to overdo exercises post-surgery and the room service means of ordering meals is a great idea. And the food was good. Overall, great experience.

Recent day surgery at St V's. Staff were friendly and professional from the moment I entered the building. Could not fault the process from start to finish. Highly recommended this hospital.

Hospital was so clean, smells so good everywhere you go! Room service was the bestest! Food was fantastic! Staying there was like staying at a hotel! Friendly and very accomodating staff members!

Excellent facilities, from the admin to nurses and doctors. I cannot recommend this hospital enough, everyone was amazing, room was clean and quiet and the food was good too!

I had my very first planned Surgery at St vincent private hospital Werribee, very clean, calm environment. Starting from admission to post surgery care and till you go home, everything is excellent, the staff - I was with Dr Adam Boyt and team, Anaesthetists - Peter and support staff, Ema make you feel relaxed. Post surgery when I was in recovery room, remember somehow person waking me up and taking at-most care - I believe he is John or Ron my apologies for the name. After moving to my own specious private room Francies and Liam took very good care of me. At any moment they were ready to help you for anything. Overall very much satisfied with the care and services @Vincent Hospital. I think you should start private emergencies as well. 🙂. Going to write amazing Review separately for Dr Adam Boyt and Team.

Wouldn’t recommend as a private patient, during fasting the staff ate in front of you and it was loud and chaotic. It’s outdated and worn down. Worst experience of a hospital I have had. Was offered a sandwich at the end that had condensation on the plastic. Communication was terrible. Sat for 2.5 hours with no updates. The clothes given to wear for surgery was scratchy and uncomfortable. Bed sheets had stains. Understaffed and overbooked.

I stayed overnight in Ward 5D (Orthopedic ) in July 2023. The nurses and other staff were excellent. The only problem I had was the constant ringing of the bell. It was so loud . No one seem to be concerned about it . I did not get a minute of sleep even though the nurse gave me earplugs which didn’t block the noise at all. One staff told me the noise is always ongoing. Can they not turn the volume down a bit ? Unfortunately the specialist who treated me operated at this hospital. I have to change to another Dr and go to another private hospital if I need orthopedic treatment in future. I have mentioned this noise problem in the survey I completed post discharge. I have not received any explanation .

What can I say saved my life end of story great team of doctors, nurse's and support staff I'd love to come back but rather not haha great work keep saving lives your good at it

Twice I have been an inpatient at this hospital. On my first stay, I thought I’d got lucky and struck a few excellent doctors and nurses. But now, after my second stay (a year later) I realise this is a superb hospital. The kindness was almost overwhelming. I felt like the best friend or close relative of everyone. From the reception ladies, to the terrific doctors (esp Dr Mishra), the amazing nurses, even wards men (thanks Wayne), St Vincent’s Private Hospital is filled with care, compassion and competence. Sure, I love the hospital near my home town in Rockhampton. But if I’m ever in Brisbane and am unfortunate enough to get sick again, I hope I’m fortunate enough to be their patient. Thank you to everyone for all you did for me. I’m very grateful to you. ❤️

Shout out to all of the gorgeous nurses in ward 1A! Unfortunately was admitted twice but all of you made an awful painful experience a million times better. I didn’t like the fact that I was in hospital and away from my family and in pain, but it was like having friends close by. You all actually cared. You were all so lovely, caring, friendly, empathetic and advocated for me. Thank you! You all deserve a massive pay rise!

Recently stayed overnight after gallbladder removal surgery. I was very unwell afterwards, but the nursing staff were beyond amazing and caring. Loved the room service food too with great choices (have attached photos in case anyone wants to know in advance what you can get).

I recently gave birth at St Vincent's Private hospital and was impressed by the level of service and care I received during my stay. I was very well looked after by all the doctors, nurses and hospital staff. Not only did the staff provide me and my husband with lots of knowledge and insight as first time parents, they were caring and empathetic too. I highly recommend this hospital and I'd come back to deliver another baby in the future. Thank you

We had our first baby over a year ago at St. Vincent’s in Fitzroy and we had a great experience. Everyone was lovely from the nurse in the room who helped me to get ready for my c- section to the anaesthetists. I didn’t want to breastfeed and no one absolutely no one judged me or pushed me. The room was great. The care was great. Food was great and the night nurses did a wonderful job taking care of our Bub. The paediatrician was amazing and just so calm and encouraging. We are now planning to have our second baby at St. Vincent’s.

I had to spend a week in St Vincent's Private Hospital. The staff were just wonderful. Felt well taken care of at all levels. Nothing was too much trouble. The meals were basic but fresh and of good quality.
