Asian Heart Institute (AHI), India's No. 1 Heart Care Hospital, has been set up with an aim to provide world-class cardiac care in India. In just 17 years, we have treated more than 3,80,000 patients, and have completed over 43,000 angiographies and more than 24,000 heart surgeries. We have a staggering success rate of 99.83% in bypass surgeries and an overall 99.4% in cardiac surgeries. These success rates are among the highest in the world. AHI has a patient-centric design with stress on safety and comfort of patients and relatives. All patient areas have been designed to minimize the risk of infection which globally, is the no.1 cause for deaths in hospitals. We have been ranked amongst the World's Top 10 Best Hospitals for Medical Tourists by the Medical Travel Quality Alliance (MTQUA) as well as in the Top 5 Cardiac Hospitals in India by Indiatimes.com. AHI has been adjudged 'India's Best Private Cardiac Care' two years in a row in The WEEK-Hansa Research. We have also been rated the best heart hospital by CNBC-ICICI Lombard & Times Healthcare award.complicated cases. In June 2013, AHI joined hands with KEM Hospital to perform FREE cardiac surgeries for infants and children who had complex cardiac problems and could not afford treatment. Dr. Panda committed to operating 1,000 such needy children, without charging their families a single rupee. This extraordinary gesture had motivated many to come forward to bear the expense of the surgery, as the surgeries were conducted at AHI's state-of-the-art Pediatric Cardiac Center, where every child could enjoy the full scope of treatment and medications available.

My father was admitted in Asian heart institute on 24th April 2023 for CABG and we honestly didn’t expect this level of care in a hospital setting. All the staff including the nurses, managers, ward boys, technicians, doctors, physiotherapists, dieticians, cafeteria staff are really friendly and helpful and actually put an effort to cure you physically as well as mentally. All of them behave almost like family. Best healthcare centre and cardiac specialty hospital we have ever experienced in all of India. Dr panda and his team (Dr. Dora, Dr. D’silva, Dr. Vanjara, Dr. Harshul, Dr. Methalia, Dr. Mohsin, Dr. Chandrashekhar, Dr. Akshaya) worked their magic in the OT and ICU and the nurses, ward boys, physiotherapists and dieticians worked their magic in the ward. The ICU staff and their care was also unimaginable. I would like to mention names of the staff I still remember- nurses- Ankita, Sape, Bharti, Sanju, Aswathi, Mayuri Special mention for Pranita- sweetest nurse ever. Her sweet nature and smile was something that used to make him smile always. Dietitian- Fazila guided us regarding the diet and was present everyday to provide healthy yet tasty food to the patient. Physiotherapist- Kajal, Pranjal, Sara, Anushree. Your rehabilitation plan has been helpful and I think equally important along with the diet and medicines after the bypass surgery. Ward boy- Santu, I don’t have words to describe his behaviour which was as caring as family or maybe more than family. Floor manager- Deepti is also really sweet and is always ready to help. Cafeteria staff was also really accommodating and helpful and friendly. You shouldn’t doubt even once if you are in need of heart surgery or even an opinion because Asian heart institute is the best in the world.

My mom was admitted to this hospital on 16th May for AVR & Ascending Aorta surgery. Surgery was successfully done by Dr. Ramakanta Panda. Best part of the hospital is Dr. Panda and the nursing staffs. The nurses took care of my mother like their own family member. Sister Sape, Pranita & Pallavi are few names that I remember. All others were equally good. Sape is missing from the photos but I will always remember her. Hoping for the best.
