General ward

Considered one of the most important health institutions in the center of the country, Hidalgo Hospital receives patients from neighboring states such as Jalisco, Zacatecas, San Luís Potosí and Guanajuato. It cares for a significant percentage of people suffering from malignant tumors, trauma, kidney failure, heart conditions and congenital malformations of the circulatory system, pathologies referred to as the main causes of hospitalization at the Institution. Currently, it offers more than 70 specialties and subspecialties in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, as well as Traumatology and Orthopedics. During the administration of Ing. Luis Armando Reynoso Femat, Constitutional Governor of the State of Aguascalientes and under the direction of Dr. Gerónimo Aguayo Leytte, Hidalgo Hospital saw its facilities renovated in order to carry out minimally invasive procedures, which have allowed doctors diagnose health problems early and accurately, thanks to the new diagnostic cabinet consisting of Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine (SPECT/CT), Digital Mastography, Multislice Tomography (40), Diagnostic and Therapeutic Hemodynamics, as well as Digital Radiology (video fluoroscopy).

My father died here. It was very difficult to get anything done, massive wait times all to be told what you already know. Very disorganized, under staffed. I was there with the night staff and the majority of them were very disrespectful and inattentive toward the patients. There are exceptions, there are some very kind and excellent people who work here. However, overall, the experience was very difficult, and the general hospital staff made no effort to make it any easier.

A lot of patience in the external consultation Archive and in the consultations themselves, sometimes the doctors do not arrive or they assign others who should not and you have to make an appointment again in the Archive. But they are no longer scheduling APPOINTMENTS for 2023 because they don't have a 2023 Agenda. Well that's what they say...
