Clinic Centro Médico Dr. Ignacio Chávez in Hermosillo
The "Dr. Ignacio Chávez" Medical Center is located in the municipality of Hermosillo and has sufficient facilities to provide quality care to patients, with 113 registered beds and 55 non-registered beds, as well as around 2,000 workers who provide response to health needs at a specialized level and care is provided to the foreign entitled population of the entire state in the different medical specialties. Its structure is made up of the Division of Surgery on which the following services depend: Anesthesiology, Pain Clinic, Orthopedics and Traumatology, Oncological Surgery, Urology, Otorhinolaryngology, Angiology, Neurosurgery, Coloproctology, Plastic Surgery, Ophthalmology and Pediatric Surgery; Internal Medicine Division, made up of: Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Inhalation Therapy, Nephrology, Cardiology, Geriatrics, Rheumatology, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Neurology, Hematology, Psychology and Gastroenterology; Division of Gynecology and Obstetrics, on which the Family Planning Clinic depends; Pediatrics Division made up of: Neonatology, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Oral Rehydration; And finally the Teaching and Research Division. The Medical Center has 32 specialties and 23 offices, as well as 9 Clinics that are adjacent to the Hospital in the Preventive Medicine Clinic, where an average of a thousand patients are received daily with various ailments. Its staff is made up of general practitioners, medical specialists, nurses, paramedics and administrative personnel, who report to the General Directorate, supported by the Medical Sub-directorate and Coordination, as well as the Administrative Sub-directorate.
