No luxembourgish standards! I went there for the first time to have a tiny broken piece of my tooth fixed. Dr Mansur, a very young dentist who appeared to speak very little French (despite the indication on doctena) murmured that behind the broken piece there was a little caries and asked if she should repair that too, which I agreed to. She seemed like she had no idea what she was doing, constantly drilling for two seconds, then looking at the tooth again, then drilling again and so on. After one endless hour of treatment (yes, an entire hour!) during which she didn't say a word to me (no explanation on the injection or any other steps of the treatment) and finally had to adjust the filling at least 5 times before I could correctly close my mouth again, she whispered something and I had to ask her three times to please repeat it because I just couldn't understand what she was saying. I complained to the secretary about the long procedure, which, to my big surprise, informed me that not one but 3 (!) teeth had been treated. I never agreed to this. I had only been to my dentist (now retired) 4 months earlier who had said that everything was fine. The secretary then told me that Dr Mansur only works there since one month. Maybe treating patients in the language you actually speak (in your case Portuguese) would be a good start to prevent such misunderstandings from happening. Also, communicating with your patients is one of the first things dentists learn at university. This could also have prevented this situation. When the secretary went to her to ask how this could happen, she didn't even bother coming to the desk and talk to me. I am furious!

I had my upper wisdom teeth removed at this clinic. One of them was beggining to emerge, the other was still fine, but I was recommended to take both out at the same time. Apparently, it was a easy and fairly simple intervention. Well, it was not. I don't have issues with the procedure in itself, however I do not consider to have given an informed consent as the information passed to me by the doctors was not accurate and does not represent the truth. I am aware each person reacts differently to medical interventions and whilst some people might not have a very long recovery, it doesn't mean others will not have as well - and I think this should have been stressed out to me a) before booking the procedure; b) after the procedure was done. I am not a dentist and I'm not (neither should I be) aware of the possible impacts of it. I asked the doctor - Will I be able to work tomorrow? - and the answer was "Yes, of course". I am on day 9th following the operation and one side of my face is still stiff, it was swollen and had a big bruise until the 6th day post-operation. I was prescribed painkillers - for 3 days only. It's day 9 and I can't still handle the pain without the meds. On day 5,6 and 7 I had low fever even tough I was still taking the prescribed medicine. On day 7th I went to the clinic as I was afraid something was not right - since I was told it was an easy recovery but I was still feverish and in a LOT of pain. Apparently everything was fine and ONLY AT THIS TIME a different doctor told me that recovery takes time as the tooth was still in the bone hence it is not as simple as removing the ones that are already out. I was given antibiotic and that was all. I still had to pay for this appointment - which I dont think I should (but anyway). I do not attribute the responsibility of a long and hard recovery to the clinic, each person is a different person. But I do consider that I was not informed of the possible impacts of this intervention and should have been given a lot more information and then I could decide a) if I want to do it; b) WHEN I want to do it - I did not expect to take so much time to recover and this has impacted my personal life and work. EDIT after the answer from the clinic: I have booked the extraction of my wisdom tooth after I had an appointment with a dentist in the same clinic that recommended me to take BOTH of my upper wisdom tooth (I had a discomfort on the left side caused, as per the dentist's opinion, by the wisdom teeth) - hence I did not showed up there one day and decided BY MYSELF that I wanted to remove them. I have contacted the clinic before 7 days had passed - on the 4th day - saying I had by cheek swollen and bruised on the right side - answer was "You can pass by, but that is normal." I do not intend to have a discussion here about what happened, but again it is a shame that the answer below contains misleading information, that does not represent the truth of what happened.

Booked an appointment for a teeth whitening…just to be told after I arrived that they don’t have the product anymore. Such a disrespect for the patients that take some time to come.
