It’s UNACCEPTABLE to wait 12 hours in the emergency room and finally someone checks what you have.
And we suppose that we are living in Luxembourg one of the best countries of the planet.
Even 1 star it’s a lot.

I went into the ER with a partially severed finger (literally bleeding everywhere) and the care was abysmal. I came in at 10pm on a Friday and had to wait 5 hours to get stitches! Hope you all understand that if you really have an emergency, you may as well take your chances with fate.

I understand we have to be patient with the healthcare system especially in the emergency service.
But the organisation of this hospital is something else.
You have to register outside waiting for a nurse to come. There is no chairs to wait, great service when you are feeling extremely bad.
Then you wait and wait for hours when they finally reach out to you they don’t explain anything they are doing.
It’s a very poor manner to take care of patients in need this hospital lacks of empathic people.

No luxembourgish standards!
I went there for the first time to have a tiny broken piece of my tooth fixed. Dr Mansur, a very young dentist who appeared to speak very little French (despite the indication on doctena) murmured that behind the broken piece there was a little caries and asked if she should repair that too, which I agreed to. She seemed like she had no idea what she was doing, constantly drilling for two seconds, then looking at the tooth again, then drilling again and so on. After one endless hour of treatment (yes, an entire hour!) during which she didn't say a word to me (no explanation on the injection or any other steps of the treatment) and finally had to adjust the filling at least 5 times before I could correctly close my mouth again, she whispered something and I had to ask her three times to please repeat it because I just couldn't understand what she was saying. I complained to the secretary about the long procedure, which, to my big surprise, informed me that not one but 3 (!) teeth had been treated. I never agreed to this. I had only been to my dentist (now retired) 4 months earlier who had said that everything was fine. The secretary then told me that Dr Mansur only works there since one month. Maybe treating patients in the language you actually speak (in your case Portuguese) would be a good start to prevent such misunderstandings from happening. Also, communicating with your patients is one of the first things dentists learn at university. This could also have prevented this situation. When the secretary went to her to ask how this could happen, she didn't even bother coming to the desk and talk to me. I am furious!

I paid for surgery, along with anathesia. They promised to refund me for the anathesia, which I never received. It has now been 3 to 4 weeks and I hav yet to receive the refund. I have called and emailed them over ten times and my follow up has needed to border on harrassment to receive any response to them whatsoever. If you want to do with a hospital that refuses to respond to you when you need something from them, then this is your place. Otherwise, go somewhere else with your hard earned money.

Ridiculous service, only trying to get the most money possible out from the patients, no written response to complaints, only phone calls. Booked a gastroenterologist, and they sent me to some doctors, and then it turned out they did not send me to the proper doctor at all - of course for a huge sum of money - and when I tried to get at least an explanation about why this happened, they tried to fully gaslight and tell me I went to the wrong doctor! Are you kidding me? I said who I needed and got booked to a different one, how is that my fault?? Also, giving out your statements in a phone call instead of written form is utterly unacceptable, unprofessional and ridiculous. Maybe you should consider why there are so many bad reviews.

Profs Behr and Costello were very good.
Unfortunately Sarmed S. Sami was so incompetent I’ve reported him to the GMC.
Most of the staff seemed nice, some procedures they managed to perform, others they didn’t manage to (ie they’re occasionally competent).
Billing was so over-enthusiastic so we were charged for procedures we didn’t have. Strangely they still haven’t gotten back to me about those …

After surgery there were complications, I had further symptoms. The surgeon refused to investigate, sent home with a false "no symptoms" report. After arguing and claiming further investigations, another doctor diagnosed infection and prescribed antibiotics - just by looking at me, without doing any bood or other tests. I had made blood test at another medical institution, it turned out that I had no infection. They just wanted me out of the door. I would call it unethical...

I had knee replacement surgery in September. I have never had better medical experience in my life.
From the initial visit to the rehabilitation treatments the competency of the doctor's, nurses and staff was 5 stars. A real plus is that everyone speaks English. Finally the patient rooms are comparable to a 5 star hotel.

However, my latest appointment, the doctor asked me to set up an appointment to another area because the equipment/method is not available at DunaMed. I haven't set up the appointment but I'm a bit hesitant. Hopefully, the facility recommended meets my Duna expectation.

I made an appointment with the doctor a week in advance through their website and paid HUF 24500 for the consultation immediately at the time of the appointment as requested.
I went to see a doctor that day, and the doctor’s attitude was okay. After seeing the doctor that day, I went to the front desk to pay the test fee of 8,000 HUF according to their instructions, and got the order to come for a blood test the next day. However, the second day was a very bad experience.
First, the front desk and customer service personnel have a very bad attitude. When I was getting the number, I asked why I couldn't see the prescription prescribed by the doctor yesterday on the government's medical insurance website. The front desk said that there are too many people now, and I will solve it when you come back.
After I get my blood done, I'm going to the office and I'm leaving the clinic. At this time, the front desk caught up and said that you still have to pay a sum of money for the test. I fell it is so strange, I said, I have already paid the full test fee yesterday, You wouldn't provide the service without paying the fee, right? She said that was yesterday's test fee, and you had to pay today's test fee. I thought maybe I misunderstood, so I went back and paid a fee of 15,700 HUF by swiping the card according to the instructions of the front desk. But I remembered that after the doctor’s visit yesterday, their system sent me a coupon. I asked the front desk to use this coupon today, but the front desk arrogantly said that the card has been swiped, and you can use it next time. I was very unhappy, because she also said that she would solve the first problem, but she didn't solve it. She said that she would use this coupon next time, it is an excuse again. So I said I don't agree, I told her about my request, I'm very busy, it's impossible to come again next time. can you please deal with it today, or have your supervisor take care of the case today. She declined and said: My supervisor is on vacation and I won't be calling her. I asked her how to solve the problem today, she gave an email and said to send your request to this email. I was very annoyed, and I said that you must solve the relevant problems today.
Something make me angry that She called the security guard and asked the security guard to drive me away. I told her that you are totally hurting your customers. it is not good to you.
Later, she said she asked her company owner to come down, and I said yes.
After her Owener came down from upstairs, she heard the complaint from another front desk, but did not say a word to me, and said directly to me: I will refund your blood test money, and you go to another clinic to see a doctor, and never come to the Swiss clinic again.
After heard her words, I was even angrier at the time, and I said, it is irresponsible for you Swiss to treat patients so rudely as a hospital. As the Owner, you have not communicated with the customer through the complete process. After communicating with one of your bystanders, you directly drove the customer away. The attitude is too arrogant, and it involves racial discrimination. I don't want to give in and condone this kind of arrogance and discrimination.
After serious negotiations, the owner finally asked me about my request, and I said it was very simple: 1. Your customer service is unprofessional and has a bad attitude, so I ask her to apologize. 2. My treatment at Swiss The process must be complete, this is my right 3. Your coupons must be deducted for me today. This is also my right.
Although they rebate the discount to me , But this matter is not over yet. The owner is very arrogant and told me that her Swiss hospital has been open for 20 years. She meant that she had no shortage of patients. The quality is really not ato be complimented.
Later, I will continue to disclose relevant progress.

Got dental cleaning done at this facility. Had a nightmare experience. The dentist was in such a hurry he didn’t even care to check whether there is any discomfort or pain during the procedure. He even touched my lips with a tooth grinding tool which ripped off a layer of the lip and resulted into profuse bleeding. When I told him that he touched the grinding tool to my lips he said he didn’t notice it. What a professional work!
Thank god I got a special medicine from another clinic for healing the damaged lips quickly.
I would never go back to this facility again.

I visited the clinic several times, although my insurance always handled the bookings. The ladies performing mammography are always very kind and helpful and really patient. I especially liked how Dr. Heléna Nász really took the time to explain my conditions and treatment options to me. I would gladly recommend this place.

If it’s possible to give minus I would do that. I have the most horrible experience in my live. I have an issue with my foot for 4 months. During this period of time I visited THREE(!) different doctors here. The first one gave me incorrect diagnosis, didn’t pay attention to my words and refused to assign me to XRay or Ultrasound or something because (and I quote) ‘Among us only I have medical education’, so I should take her words and leave. Rude and absolutely disrespectful. I booked another appointment and it was pretty nice experience, the doctor assigned me XRay and Ultrasound examinations, proved incorrect diagnosis of the first doctor. I followed the treatment and did physio, but nothing has significantly changed. She said we were not leave it like this and assigned me to MRI examination and advised to see orthopaedic surgeon (huge thanks to her for that). I did an MRI examination which showed a lot of interesting things which I had to google myself as the third doctor didn’t check the scans! He pointed all my issues were because of my weight and I should loose it and it would be fine, but he couldn’t do anything and didn’t have any other plan for me apart from exercise to loose weight and use specific soles. He also made some assumptions about my health and was a bit surprised I didn’t have other issues. Again, he didn’t check scans, just read a brief summary, said I didn’t have any tears in my ligaments (ultrasound and MRI both said different) and actually it’s chronic (how come as I never have any issues before. Never) When I asked why it happened on a first place as nothing changed (no injuries no weight gain no anything I could notice) and why after almost four months of a treatment I had even worse symptoms now there were no reply apart from a lecture about different types of inflammation and that I used my leg every day. No treatment plan, just wait at least three months as other patients dealt with it for a year or two, it won’t be healed in a week (yeah, but it 4 months, sure). He also made a steroid injection and didn’t inform that I have to pay for it separately. When I was practically at home I got a call asking how come I didn’t pay and go away? Well, to pay for something you actually need to be informed about it, no? (The reception girl was nice, no complaints). Overall THE WORST experience ever. Waste of time money and nerves.

Booked an appointment, got a queue number but the assistant called the next person after me despite that I even waited 20 mins on top of my schedule appointment.
I expect better queue handling in private than public.

Best in class service, absolutely satisfied with the staff and with their expertise. I can strongly recommend to anyone especially for those who can’t afford spending months of wait times for the public healthcare institutions.
