Yesterday my 2 1/2 years old daughter had to undergo surgery there. Super....from receptionist to surgeon, all were very friendly, cooperative and well organized, really professional with an eye to communication with family. Facilities are super, from parking to furnished rooms. It really diminished our stress, made us feel very much comfortable. And...as a foreigner nearly no problems with language.....bardzo dziękuję for helping, pleasure to have been at this medical centre.

A few words about childbirth: - the delivery midwife (older) was rude, I felt like I was unwelcome (bitting comments, lack of support) - no possibility of taking birthing positions due to first, then anesthesia, although I had the strength to do so - extremely long waiting time for an epidural - no skin-to-skin contact (later I found out that something was wrong, at the time of delivery there was no information, the child was simply taken away and no one answered what was happening to him - it was a very difficult experience) - I had to wait a long time for the child after the birth because the staff was changing and my husband constantly had to go and ask me to bring my son (after the earlier lack of information about what was happening to him right after the birth) - broken equipment for hearing screening tests (this made life difficult for us later) As for the care after childbirth, most of the midwives and doctors are nice and competent, especially Mrs. Edyta - an angel and Mrs. gynecologist are great. Before the birth, I was also ok, whenever I was worried about something and I was given answers and help. To sum up - many public hospitals have a higher standard when it comes to treating patients during childbirth and I regret that I chose swissmed, apart from the fact that you pay for the package and it's almost.

Doctors nice and competent however ladies on the phone rude and not helpful… they instruct you before you even explain what is the problem and have ZERO understanding and patience for family of patients. we paid for the test we did not get results on, trying to get through to the doctor on the phone- impossible. I do not recommend this hospital unfortunately due to poor customer service.
