Clinic The Gamma Knife Center in Moscow

The Gamma Knife Center at the N. N. Burdenko Institute of Neurosurgery was opened in April 2005. More than 5,000 patients have been treated in our center over these years. We established strong research relations with international colleagues. We are an educational center of the Elekta company for training specialists to work with Gamma Knife. On June 29, 2018, we were the first in Russia and the CIS to start working on ICON ™ — the sixth generation of the Leksell Gamma Knife® platform — the most effective model since the use of Gamma Knife technology. ICON ™ is suitable for the treatment of almost all neoplasms of the brain and has no restrictions on the size of the pathological focus.
