My sister was treated for kidney stones in August and we signed a document agreeing to pay $13,800. When we got home, our credit card was charged $38,000. We have made numerous attempts to speak to the hospital, no one has responded. They sent a credit card receipt that clearly shows that they forged our signature and are still demanding payment. Stay away from this hospital, they will scam you out of lots of money.

My son hurt his knee pretty bad after landing awkwardly trampolining at our resort. He couldn’t bare weight on it and had a lot of pain so we researched a few local hospitals and decided on Amerimed based on some of the Google reviews. We were not disappointed and so glad we picked this one. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and got us in, x-rayed, meds and a knee brace for 6,500 pesos/ $400usd. We were out within 90 minutes. Great experience. Thank you Amerimed.

My father had an emergency and was hospitalized for 3 days. Doctors are very good as anywhere else. They seem very eager to communicate what is happening. Dr de la O, and i forgot the name, but a young female doctor were very good. Now, admissions was horrible. They stop an order for blood transfusion because they needed us to make another deposit, but never even tried to contact us by phone or email. They didn’t even let the medical team know about this. The nursing station was not at par of what we are used to in the USA. They lack professionalism. They are not disciplined and the follow the worst hygienic protocols. Some nurses did not bother wearing gloves when inserting needles into my father. They left medical waste around the room. Did not follow doctors’ instructions accordingly. Dr order to take out catheter by 2pm, it was left until 8pm. Only after my father started feeling agonizing pain below and chest. One nurse straight out lied to me saying that the blood we were waiting was in the building and being processed. When in fact the order to a third party was just placed after I made payment. Could not document everything, but will leave you some photos. Used needles were forgotten by the hand wash sink, hazardous waste was left in a regular garbage bin. Used cotton swabs left on the floor.. much more.
