Na Homolce Hospital is an organization directly subordinate to the Ministry of Health. It is a specialized clinical facility focusing on highly skilled, technologically advanced treatment of cardiovascular and neurological/neurosurgical diseases. We do not serve a particular catchment area: our patients are admitted on referral from their respective general practitioners or specialists and come from various places in the Czech Republic or, in some cases, from abroad. Na Homolce Hospital is a renowned institution providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with diseases of the cardiovascular and nervous systems, especially the brain and spinal cord. Part of this care is also the treatment of diseases and injuries of the spine. In addition to these specialties, we offer our patients a wide range of services in the fields of general surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, internal medicine, and others. All members of our medical team provide comprehensive care, focused on ascertaining a precise diagnosis of your condition and comprehensive treatment, whether surgical, interventional or conservative and, if necessary, subsequent rehabilitation. Na Homolce Hospital holds the prestigious JCI (Joint Commission International) accreditation. We meet approximately 1500 quality indicators, which shows that we pay continuous and consistent attention to the needs and rights of our patients, their safety and treatment. This small hospital guide will help answer basic questions that you or your loved ones may have in connection with your hospitalization. Please take a few moments to read this guide before beginning your treatment. I wish you a fast recovery.

i politely asked over the phone if anobody spoke english, at first they put me on hold and, after the waiting, and old lady answered, once again, in czech when i asked her if she spoke english she just said "no english" and hung up thank god i wasnt dying lol, you dont really need to be mean to somebody requesting for healthcare, regardless of what lenguage they speak frustrating, degrading, and insulting dont call there if you speak english, i promise you, they dont care about you

Waited for 3 hours. I believe I have Giardia or some other parasite in my stomach after traveling in Peru. He looked me straight in the face and told me he didn’t know what a parasite was… even after explaining everything very clearly. The guy at the payment desk easily understood and understand but not the doctor?! Haha!! Can’t to go back home and see an educated doctor

Omg! After living in CZ as English speaker for almost 3 years, I finally found the best hospital here. I was here mostly at the cardiology department. Most of the nurses can speak English. Even if they are not, they still try to communicate with you. And ofc, all doctor can speak English. All of them are so patient, nice, and friendly. I was super surprise that I had some chitchat with some nurses during the waiting times. The waiting time is logically make sense. I can simply say, they love their jobs. I can’t recommend anywhere else rather than here :) Best one 😊
