This is the only hospital in the Negev region (South of Israel) and it is part of Clalit health services. It is at the heart of Beer Sheva city and serves almost the southern part of Israel. It is also affiliated to the Ben Gurion University thereby serving also as a teaching hospital. It is also close to the Ben Gurion University. The staff are very professional in their service delivery.

Presently I am out of the country. Meanwhile, my wife arrived at the Soroka M. C. emergency room around 4:00 am this morning for a heart condition. While waiting for tests she notified a female ordely staff personnel that while mopping she had left standing water on the floor under the curtain near my wife's bed. She went on to tell my wife to "sheket! ". As a place of care for people in distress the staff should be more professional and respectful to their patients. I am very disappointed.
