Going there for the first time, getting information and seeing the Doctor was fast and easy.

Went to see a doctor who claimed he had been trained at Johns Hopkins. His degrees were completely fake. Unreal. Avoid this hospital at all costs.

The worst service when I was going out from an ambulatory surgery. The person from collection apartments and invoice was rude and unprofessional. The service was very good.

Bad bad. The treatment is derogatory towards low-income people. If you want to receive good treatment, dress well and show that you are of good economic standing. And if the patients are "eps" things get worse.

I like how you treat me here at the clinic.

I had a bad experience. It was very difficult to find someone friendly on the administrative staff. The ladies who schedule the imaging area are rude and not at all empathetic with the patient. How sad that staff training for quality customer service is left to the end.

Incompetent in the emergency area. 2 am on Monday, October 9, insolent and very unprofessional doctor. Dirt all over the areas "that people don't see." Are they doing emergency procedures in the same way?

Appalling! They don't have an emergency laboratory! I went at 3 in the morning to perform some emergency tests and there was no one in the laboratory! They kept me waiting for about 15 minutes… I had to go to another hospital because of the situation I was in!

Hands down, one of the best hospitals I've ever been to. Within minutes of bringing my dad here, the entire team was assisting him with his high blood pressure and symptoms of a stroke. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's important to keep in mind that this is a private hospital, so if you don't have insurance, they will ask you to deposit a certain amount of money into the account. Make sure to mention that you are self-pay. So they can bundle everything up into one packet. I was so impressed with the ability to be able to just walk down to the administrative office and ask what my balance was and get that information within seconds. It is worth every single penny they charge.

I was a patient her for 2 nights and it had truly been one a the better experiences of being at a hospital ever. Staff was attentive, cleanliness was amazing and the over all experience with my surgeon was amazing! Highly recommend! Coming from the USA, this is like being at a 5 star hotel!

I can’t begin to express how much I enjoyed my visit here. From Admission, medical, food service everyone was so kind! Also, food was a 10/10!

My sister was treated for kidney stones in August and we signed a document agreeing to pay $13,800. When we got home, our credit card was charged $38,000. We have made numerous attempts to speak to the hospital, no one has responded. They sent a credit card receipt that clearly shows that they forged our signature and are still demanding payment. Stay away from this hospital, they will scam you out of lots of money.

Terrible money scam. People were nice, but not professional. My mom had a heart issue and was sent here by Xcaret Hotel Mexico (this is a partner hospital with the hotel, says something about the hotel too). She was given EKG and blood test, which was charged 1300USD. The emergency doctor couldn't give any diagnosis with these results and wanted to refer an internal medicine doctor to continue with more procedures (for more charges). The whole time we were there there was no monitor of vital signs, the IV stopped working. We ran away without continuing with any procedure. Stay away from this hospital if you can!

My son hurt his knee pretty bad after landing awkwardly trampolining at our resort. He couldn’t bare weight on it and had a lot of pain so we researched a few local hospitals and decided on Amerimed based on some of the Google reviews. We were not disappointed and so glad we picked this one. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and got us in, x-rayed, meds and a knee brace for 6,500 pesos/ $400usd. We were out within 90 minutes. Good afternoon!! My name is Taynara, and I was admitted to the unit on 11/3/2023... with severe headaches and vomiting, and was soon sent for exams and measurements. I was immediately taken to the ICU, with full medical supervision from Dr Giuliano and his emergency team. On the 4th (Saturday), after more tests, a tumor was seen requiring surgery, which was carried out last Thursday, 11/24. The surgery was a success, the entire tumor was removed without any further complications. Today Monday, 11/27, I left the ICU and am recovering in the room. I would first like to thank God for the entire process, and for the Dona Helena team... from the nurses in the emergency, ICU and maternity ward. Thank you for all the love and care, to everyone I had the pleasure of meeting, they made this struggle easier, they all brought me a lot of confidence and serenity. Thanks mainly to Dr Giuliano, for all his professionalism and clarity. By ICU Techniques morning and afternoon (Karina, Karen, Carol, Larissa, Paula, Ângela, Anderson, Roberto) Amanda for all the braids in her hair before and even after cutting her hair for the surgery she took great care to wash , hydrate and make everything feel lighter after surgery. Night technicians and on-call technicians, physiotherapists Rose, Milena and Najara. The maternity nurses, technicians, kitchen maids and the entire team!! Thank you very much, and may God bless each one of you greatly!!!

I've been with my grandmother at HDH twice in the last 30 days. The first time on October 21st in orthopedics, service provided by the doctor Barbara Miroski de Oliveira Pinto. The second appointment was today, a clinical appointment by doctor Murilo Melocra. In both appointments, the doctors were very clear, detailed and were excellent in their consultations. Even though consultations were carried out in the emergency room, the service was very complete and all possible information was provided. Service at reception and screening was also very good and courteous.

On Saturday, 02/08, my wife and I were admitted to the hospital through the emergency ward. We needed obstetric care. The reception was perfect. The nurses were amazing. The doctor who carried out the first assessment did well. But everything fell apart when they told us that there was NO doctor responsible for ultrasounds at the hospital, they were on alert. This specific doctor was supposed to be at the beach, as it took him over an hour to arrive. When he attended to my wife, he treated it as if it were nothing. A cretin. In a moment of total fragility. Irresponsibility on the part of the hospital for not having a team on duty (probably to save a few bucks) and the doctor is certainly from that new generation who only thinks about fundraising. Ultrasound care was vital for us, regardless of whether it changed the result or not. We just wanted an answer. The doctor (whose name I will refrain from mentioning here, but you will find out from the ombudsman) came in, gave the diagnosis and simply left. He left the rest to the other doctor who attended to us first (very well) and to the nurses. There's no point in having a hospital that prides itself on having whatever it is, with each professional identified by the color of their uniform and having emergency medical care that is rubbish. Ridiculous. Unfortunate for a hospital that was once a reference in the region. As for the doctor, I wish him no harm. I just want life to give him the same treatment he gives his patients. And I say this from the heart because there is time to change and be better.

One word: GRATITUDE!!! I have gratitude, a feeling of recognition. I want to thank you for EVERYTHING. Receptionists, Doctors, Nurses, Cleaning Assistants, Cafeteria, Physiotherapists, Radiologists, everyone in general who gave and is giving us support in a difficult phase, which makes it a little lighter...... GOD BLESS THEM, ALWAYS.

Apart from the reasonable delay for the first pain medication (renal colic) and the first nurse who pierced my arm 3 times (skinny with bulging veins) until she was able to access it), the service was good, everything else.

I would like to thank all the staff at Hospital São Lucas for their service and care. I arrived with what seemed like a simple cough and had to be hospitalized. I am extremely grateful to Dr.Thiago Soares Gomes for his diligence and prevention in decision-making, and to Dr.Filipe Miranda Bernardes for his constant monitoring. When an X-ray was not enough to detect the true cause of that cough, they did their best to clarify the picture so that today I am better and continue with the necessary care. Know that my family, people who love me and I greatly appreciate the professionalism and so much humanity of all of you.

Make an appointment, it's simple... the specialist never arrived, they send you a message to ensure punctuality out of respect for the doctor's time but they do not respect yours, they left me waiting for about 30 minutes, they charge the consultation at $1500, not cheap for the service. a private clinic, anyway, thank you!

I am an American on an extended vacation here in Mexico City and I saw Dr Luis Villalobos Perez. Hands down he was the best doctor I have ever seen in my fifty years of life. He truly took time to discuss my health problem and my history and he gave me a thorough physical exam, I feel like I have not had an actual physical exam since I was in high school. It is such a blessing to have found Mediland! Great staff, clean and modern facility in a beautiful neighborhood Don’t hesitate to go here if you are sick!

Absolutely horrible service. My father broke his arm and we had to wait like 10-15 minutes just checking in. And then they gave him a terrible cast and diagnosis. We had to come back to the US and go to our local Kaiser Permanente to get actual care for my dad. Please avoid this place, especially if you are visiting from the US. We have used the services of Valmar Hospital, including surgery and emergency care. Could not ask for better service and care. Having so many specialists at one location is so helpful. Received excellent care from Doctors , nurses and staff.

Horrible service. Showed up here with a case of Food Poisoning and was turned away because my symptoms were "similar" to Covid-19. The front desk person told me to wait outside, didn't even ask me simple questions such as if I had a cough or shortness of breath and after "speaking with her supervisor" told me I had to go to the General Hospital because Velmar was "full". Such a lie! If it was full, why wasn't I turned away when I first showed up? I went to Clinica San Fernando after and was seen by a great doctor there. My cardiologist and urologist have their offices at Velmar and I will let them know I won't be able to attend our appointments anymore at this hospital, because they deny service to people in need.

It was one of the best hospitals that gave me a lot of support to be able to walk since I have poliomyelitis in my right leg and they gave me a brace and treatments at no cost. I am very grateful and keep going.

The best hospital they could recommend to me, they turned to Angeles for the quality of life of my daughter who underwent surgery for hip dysplasia a year ago and today my daughter can run and jump, she still has an appointment to have her nail removed but Thank God and the doctors who operated on her, she can run. In addition, the staff is very respectful and I say this for myself because I was the one who stayed with her the day of the surgery. At no time did I receive bad treatment.

I have had both good and bad experiences at this hospital. More bad than good unfortunately. They are not prepared to treat neurodivergent patients and have no understand of their medical access needs. The hospital should do more research in this area. I am very grateful for the nurses though! They work so hard.

If I could rate this a zero I would. This has to be the worst hospital in this whole city. It should be shut down. The lack of care is disgusting! I know the nurses are overworked but to be rude and mean to the patients is unacceptable. I live in the neighborhood so sadly this is the hospital I'm stuck with whenever there is an issue. 30 years ago it was a good place but it has gone way downhill and is only getting worse. My mother has a broken hip and isn't ready to leave but yet they're kicking her out because they want the bed, and she has Covid but they don't care, she's been there a month and they feel she's ready to go home. It may be free healthcare but that doesn't mean it's good. If you can, beg and plead the ambulance drivers not to send you there ask to be sent to a different hospital because you'll get treated like garbage here if you get treated at all. It's a disgraceful place and I feel for anyone that has to be stuck in here. I love all these fake reviews saying they're great. What a joke!

A recent 3 day visit to this hospital for a surgery of a family member renewed my respect and appreciation in Canada Health system. A great team of doctors, nurses, support staff and volunteers provided an A1 service efficiently, professionally and with care using complex and up to date medical and IT equipment. The team included senior and younger staff from Canada and new comers to provide care for patients that have not visited the hospital by choice. The hospital offered a super clean place even during renovation. The Kitchen staff would not get a Michelin star rating but they got a 5 star from me for quality, reliability and service. Even the underground parking was safe, clean, well lit and with reasonable prices. Well done team MG. I know that such a performance takes a lot of work behind the surface. A refreshing experience that proves that dedicated, experienced and “real” people, not money and politicians, make all the difference. Sorry for the long winded review, but a big thank you. I didn't imagine we would have such a positive experience, from reception to the surgical center staff, nursing staff, concierge. We were treated with incredible affection, the nurses took care of the patient and companion as if they were family. The kitchen maids, cleaners, what a team, there are no words to explain the amount of gratitude for all the care and affection we received.

I had orthognathic surgery last week, the entire team that attended to me during the 4 days were extremely dedicated. Mainly the nursing technicians: Juliana, Rebeca, Nice and Denise. When I was discharged I was afraid I wouldn't have the same care at home, but I needed to free up the room lol. I also thank the physiotherapist Karem (I don't know if it's K), for accompanying me during her shifts. I just have to thank you. 🙏🏻

I was very welcomed by the entire medical and nursing team. In the emergency, I particularly thank Dr. Elieber, his clinical evaluation led to a correct diagnosis even before the laboratory tests. Congratulations. For the nursing technician, Wendy, the affection and welcome made me feel protected. Thank you very much. I stayed in ward 202. Everyone was very attentive. I thank the nursing team in the Nurses. Pamela and the nursing technician Ana. I mentioned names but I was very well attended to by everyone. Ralf Stephani: In this hospital at the beginning of March, I was given great help in eliminating my hip pain. The team around Dr. Moore worked absolutely professionally with great success. Thanks, couldn't be better! May/ June 2023 After I received such great help on my right hip in March 2023 and I had an unshakeable trust in Dr. Jose Luis Moore Velasques, I asked him to operate on my left hip as soon as possible. Already on May 7th, 2023 I had an operation on my left hip because of unbearable pain. In several clinics I was told that 12 months should elapse between operations. Not so with the doctor I trust. Just 4 days later I flew back to Curacao pain-free. The painkillers were left untouched in the bedside table! Suddenly being able to walk pain-free again was Mr dr Jose Luis Moore Velasques to me. No helpers, no pitying looks, no pain! Being able to participate in normal life again was wonderful. My physiotherapist told me he had never seen such a professional surgical scar in his 20 years of experience. Do not come here even if you think that your dying or have any serious medical problem, absolutely terrible care and attention takes 6-12 hours for them to even do simple blood test or any real examinations. Really there rating should BE honest and lower then where it currently is, also technologically speaking their WAY behind.

If you need immediate medical attention do not come here this is absolutely the worst hospital I've ever had to come, unfortunately, I almost died here from a heart attack and they did nothing to help me except treat me like a ragdoll. Absolute garbage attention and no care for the patients, I literally had to waddle my way out of that hospital as If this is a movie, I would give them ZERO STARS if I could, save uour time and go elsewhere.

I want to thank the entire team who were with me throughout my hospitalization, who welcomed me with so much affection and dedication. This team knew how to help me when I was really bad, they held my hand, and always gave me words of comfort. Unparalleled empathy. Congratulations to everyone and I ask that God gives double everything you gave to us. As a foreigner I was sent to Reina Sofia 4 times to solve my problem, everyone did a good job even though my problem was not solved. The biggest thanks go to Paula Rodriguez and Maria Paula Mantilla, who go extra mile and are super helpful. Paula was there for me even outside of her working time. This is really appreciated.

Wife and I had our oldest child here. Expenses out of pocket weren’t so bad, staff is somewhat lacking in knowledge. They couldn’t figure out the leg stirrups on the birthing bed, I had to put them up. Clean place, but don’t seem to have a great bedside. Very pushy on breastfeeding, I was not to thrilled with them. But one of the better options in Bogota.

Real bad service . Staff are rude. My husband get burn on his chest in the ICU. Money making clinic only. Bad bad experience from that clinic.

Many friends have had surgery at this clinic and they say they received very good care. I had read that they did not answer the phone and the first time I made an appointment they answered me and gave me an appointment for a hip CT scan for the next two days.

I had the privilege to be operated on by the best surgeon this clinic has to offer. Dr. Juan Pablo Florez. I am a Canadian Nurse and have been for the past 12 years, and i can assure you that the service and the medical attention they have to offer surpasses Canadian medicine.

I’m an American, living in San Francisco and accustomed to high level of medical care. My father developed an infection and the hotel recommended this hospital. Great experience. Very clean, modern and professional. Similar to an urgent care in the US. You pay out of pocket but prices are relatively reasonable. Everyone speaks English. I wasn’t sure what to expect so hope this review is comforting if you need to see a doctor while traveling.

While on a dive trip to Cozumel, my husband became seriously ill and was hospitalized at Costamed. He received excellent treatment. This review is about the patient services people, particularly Jesus Pineda and Israel Cuerca, who were so helpful. My phone would not work and Jesus let me use his phone to contact my bank. He was a very calming influence at a trying time. All the staff was kind and helpful but these two stand out, especially Jesus.

My cousin has been sitting in a chair with gallstones for three days waiting for an evaluation from the surgeon. They don't even put her on a stretcher because they simply don't have one or they don't feel like it. How sad this poor service is!

The worst care, I went to the emergency room and the care was terrible, an all-day wait for a bleeding problem, an eternal wait for results all for them to only tell me - "come tomorrow and they can treat you during the day" . How sad it is for someone to seek help and be treated that way. Doctors with little empathy, they don't care about the patient's conditions, they barely pay attention to you. Many thanks to the doc. They do not have qualified emergency personnel, only a general practitioner. The Rx service does not work on weekends. If you ask for an X-ray on Friday night, they tell you that you have to wait until Monday when they give you the results.

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible service at each station they asked me for the same information that I had already given, it took four hours and I couldn't breathe, terrible service, terrible attention I don't recommend at all, the worst hospital I have ever visited
