My review is solely basednon the eait in the ER , as that is the only place we have seen after 3 hours of waiting. It is dirty, gross and the staff all hate humanity. They also have one restroom for the entire ER waiting room which currently houses 20 or so people waiting to be seen.

ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!! Worst experience ever. Father arrived to ER by ambulance around 1 PM for a heart attack!! No doctor sees him until 5 PM. Labs were done, notes taken for a cardiac consult and an echo cardiogram. Notes were taken but orders were never submitted! So the next day was spent in a hospital room with NOTHING being done. Echo finally done at 3PM. Doctor show up later and hasn't reviewed any notes or tests! He tells us now that they can't do the cath until Monday (this is currently Friday!!). If they had treated his heart attack as the emergency it was, they would have done the cath right away. Nurse comes in at night with only 2 of the 6 medications needed for my father. Dosage is wrong! ER miswrote the notes for his medication!! Something very wrong is happening here!! Hoping this place doesn't kill my dad!! Avoid at all costs!! Cleveland Clinic has ruined the hospital!!

Horrible. Horrible experience!! If at all possible avoid this ER. Thought I was doing the right thing by calling 911 for my mother in order to have her seen asap.that might have been the case… but don’t plan on going back to be with your family member. Seriously! Insane the way I was treated. I begged everyone I could to please let me back there to be with my 78 yo mother. “Sorry.. not protocol” zero care from anyone I spoke to. No one cared that my mom was crying for me. They all just kept telling me it’s protocol to wait for an assigned doctor, that they were extremely busy. Well.. I keep pressing the issue and was finally allowed back. To an empty room, almost empty ER.. zero doctors around. Not busy as all. Disgusting the way I was treated. Horrible They literally coukd care less. I’m sick to my stomach over how bad it went down

Very poor attention from the staff in addition to giving the wrong diagnosis, worrying patients about illnesses that are not the case. I have had a very bad experience at this hospital.

The emergency service is relatively good, although they lack a lot of cleanliness in the waiting room, in the hallways and especially in the bathrooms of all emergency facilities, billing is too slow but I rate the medical laboratory and nursing service as efficient and professional.

Bad service, I've been trying to get in touch for two days to request an appointment but no one responds, they just listen to a recording. Please gentlemen, more human quality and user service. Do not enter phone numbers if they are never going to answer. I am at the hospital waiting to make an appointment, but the person attending has preference with friends. Bad place to go to an emergency... They pick you up whenever they want and they don't attend to you... I arrived at 10 pm... I was left waiting for 2 hours on the stretcher with the curtain closed so that in the end no doctor would arrive. check me... On Friday, October 27 at approximately 8:00 pm, we came to the emergency room to check my daughter who had a throat infection and urinary tract infection. Dr. Jesús María Hernández Reyna did not test her with the reagent strip and so I He prescribed an antibiotic, and I asked him if he was not going to take a test, and very bleeding and sharp, he answered that there was the medicine for both infections. I was very upset and dissatisfied, we had to return again today because my daughter still has the discomfort of the urinary infection 😡 Seriously, I don't know why they study medicine if they aren't going to treat their patients well, it's too bad that some of them take it all because it's not the first time we've come and other times they've treated us well.

My sister was treated for kidney stones in August and we signed a document agreeing to pay $13,800. When we got home, our credit card was charged $38,000. We have made numerous attempts to speak to the hospital, no one has responded. They sent a credit card receipt that clearly shows that they forged our signature and are still demanding payment. Stay away from this hospital, they will scam you out of lots of money.

Terrible money scam. People were nice, but not professional. My mom had a heart issue and was sent here by Xcaret Hotel Mexico (this is a partner hospital with the hotel, says something about the hotel too). She was given EKG and blood test, which was charged 1300USD. The emergency doctor couldn't give any diagnosis with these results and wanted to refer an internal medicine doctor to continue with more procedures (for more charges). The whole time we were there there was no monitor of vital signs, the IV stopped working. We ran away without continuing with any procedure. Stay away from this hospital if you can!

My son hurt his knee pretty bad after landing awkwardly trampolining at our resort. He couldn’t bare weight on it and had a lot of pain so we researched a few local hospitals and decided on Amerimed based on some of the Google reviews. We were not disappointed and so glad we picked this one. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and got us in, x-rayed, meds and a knee brace for 6,500 pesos/ $400usd. We were out within 90 minutes. This hospital is terrible!!!! I had an ear problem last month and I went to this hospital that charged me for a consultation without first telling me that they did NOT have an ENT doctor available who could help me (even after having gone through the screening), and now even having spoken to the ombudsman, they claim that I was notified, which is an absurd lie. What I take away from this is that in addition to having terrible service and incompetent nurses, they also lie. Don't go to Santa Paula, they won't solve your problem, and then they will claim that “you were too stunned to understand” which is an absurd lack of empathy and humanity for a hospital to say something like that.

Second time this week I spent this week in the emergency room of this hospital, because the medicines prescribed by the doctors are not relieving my pain, I have flu-like symptoms. Good afternoon everybody. My 18 year old daughter was hospitalized on 10/06 with teratomas on her ovary. A huge scare, because we went to the emergency room with suspected kidney stones. We were very scared and very worried, but I would like to record here the excellent and extremely humanized care provided by everyone, without exception, at the hospital. My daughter had recently turned 18 and so I couldn't sleep with her in the hospital, imagine my despair and worry? So, in addition to never being hospitalized, she had to be alone. But, all (without exception) the nurses, receptionists, doctors, were very careful, loving, attentive and caring. I would really like to remember everyone's name (and I recommend that the hospital look at the days of this shift to really recognize these professionals from 10/05 to 11:20 pm to 10/08), but I was very nervous, but, I remember Carol, Kelly, Luana (in the emergency room), Dr Manoel and the team that successfully performed the surgery to remove the teratomas on my daughter. Those whose names I don't remember (especially a nurse who attended to us in the early hours of 10/06 who was so loving), please forgive me, they are no less important in my gratitude, as I said to some of you, for For me, it is not simply a profession but rather a gift of caring for others. I couldn't spend 24 hours with my daughter in the 3 days she was there, but I'm sure that God chose all the people who took care of her correctly. Make an appointment, it's simple... the specialist never arrived, they send you a message to ensure punctuality out of respect for the doctor's time but they do not respect yours, they left me waiting for about 30 minutes, they charge the consultation at $1500, not cheap for the service. a private clinic, anyway, thank you!

I am an American on an extended vacation here in Mexico City and I saw Dr Luis Villalobos Perez. Hands down he was the best doctor I have ever seen in my fifty years of life. He truly took time to discuss my health problem and my history and he gave me a thorough physical exam, I feel like I have not had an actual physical exam since I was in high school. It is such a blessing to have found Mediland! Great staff, clean and modern facility in a beautiful neighborhood Don’t hesitate to go here if you are sick!

Absolutely horrible service. My father broke his arm and we had to wait like 10-15 minutes just checking in. And then they gave him a terrible cast and diagnosis. We had to come back to the US and go to our local Kaiser Permanente to get actual care for my dad. Please avoid this place, especially if you are visiting from the US. We have used the services of Valmar Hospital, including surgery and emergency care. Could not ask for better service and care. Having so many specialists at one location is so helpful. Received excellent care from Doctors , nurses and staff.

Horrible service. Showed up here with a case of Food Poisoning and was turned away because my symptoms were "similar" to Covid-19. The front desk person told me to wait outside, didn't even ask me simple questions such as if I had a cough or shortness of breath and after "speaking with her supervisor" told me I had to go to the General Hospital because Velmar was "full". Such a lie! If it was full, why wasn't I turned away when I first showed up? I went to Clinica San Fernando after and was seen by a great doctor there. My cardiologist and urologist have their offices at Velmar and I will let them know I won't be able to attend our appointments anymore at this hospital, because they deny service to people in need.

I want to give them a 5 star because as soon as my son was checked by the emergency, nurses and doctors came and admitted him into CCU. They saved my son! Now I know where my donations can go. We can't thank doctors and nurses and all the volunteers and staff enough. Beside their professional knowledge and equipment, everyone wats to make sure parents and siblings are well taken care of. However, the emergency is as busy and not very favorable a unit as all other ones in Canada. At 2:00 am, there was only one nurse doing the reception job and checking patients. She could attend to our son sooner but she was busy with the reception.

I appreciate the hospital's efforts in managing a high volume of patients, and I understand the initial wait time for a bed. However, after securing a bed, there was an additional four-hour wait to see the doctor. While I recognize the challenges, it was disheartening to wait for a medical consultation only to be informed that we were cleared to go home after the doctor's brief checkup. In order to enhance the overall patient experience, I would like to suggest that the hospital consider increasing the number of doctors available, and if possible, encourage doctors to start their checkups a bit earlier. This adjustment could potentially help free up beds more promptly for patients in need of urgent care.

Excellent staff and food. Excellent care and attention to detail. Being from the US I was very nervous but my mine was out to ease by all the caring and professional staff!

I’m an American, living in San Francisco and accustomed to high level of medical care. My father developed an infection and the hotel recommended this hospital. Great experience. Very clean, modern and professional. Similar to an urgent care in the US. You pay out of pocket but prices are relatively reasonable. Everyone speaks English. I wasn’t sure what to expect so hope this review is comforting if you need to see a doctor while traveling.

While on a dive trip to Cozumel, my husband became seriously ill and was hospitalized at Costamed. He received excellent treatment. This review is about the patient services people, particularly Jesus Pineda and Israel Cuerca, who were so helpful. My phone would not work and Jesus let me use his phone to contact my bank. He was a very calming influence at a trying time. All the staff was kind and helpful but these two stand out, especially Jesus.

It could be 5! BUT IT'S BEEN A MONTH SINCE MY SON'S RESULTS HAVE NOT BEEN OUT. I DID IT BY REFERRAL FROM THE HEALTH CENTER! THEY SAY THE DOCTOR HAS NOT DONE THE REPORT YET! ONE MONTH? My cousin has been sitting in a chair with gallstones for three days waiting for an evaluation from the surgeon. They don't even put her on a stretcher because they simply don't have one or they don't feel like it. How sad this poor service is!

They do not have qualified emergency personnel, only a general practitioner. The Rx service does not work on weekends. If you ask for an X-ray on Friday night, they tell you that you have to wait until Monday when they give you the results.

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible service at each station they asked me for the same information that I had already given, it took four hours and I couldn't breathe, terrible service, terrible attention I don't recommend at all, the worst hospital I have ever visited
