Really good service for a tourist in need of a quick prescription. I was seen within 15 mins and got the medication I needed. Doctor spoke English which was helpful

They will not accept you if you don't have private insurance. They only accept payment from the insurance company, no credit or cash. If you are traveling here, go to a public hospital. The lady working there was extremely rude to me and was not willing to help me at all when I asked her where I can go to get medical help. I asked her for a hospital name and she essentially told me to F off. Luckily, I contacted a Spanish school for Spanish lessons and asked them where I can go. They gave me the name of a public hospital, and I was able to get my wound treated.

I have been caring for more than 10 years. My family and I. The place is incredible and the attention wonderful. I had spine surgery a few days ago. Which I was 8 days. Words are not enough to thank, the humanity that I found in that place. The level of excellence in all areas. The appointments and medical examinations are always carried out quickly.

A DISASTER OF A HOSPITAL. Total hopeless reception staff🤬🤬 Truly horrible logistics and reception. They are masters of wasting hours of everyones time by sending people in the wrong ques and asking for insane written approvals for the smallest posible ‘extra’ test. Like a covid test when one comes with insurance qurantee for consultation regarding covid with fever. No wonder the whole country is going bankorot again, when a private paid hospital can survive with this kind of service level🤬 Doctors are nice and are actually trying to do a good job, but the surrounding logistics is chaos

Extremely unprofessional and badly organized hospital. It takes 2h of waiting even when there is no other patients waiting, because they send you to a wrong line. So many unnecessary lines and paperwork where they can't communicate with each other. Only one guy in the entire hospital speaks English, others persistently reject to speak. They keep skipping the line of waiting for certain patients, that if not given a priority one can wait for 5h+ there by seeing others jumping in. Real disaster! Strongly recommend to avoid this place.

We're here now and we've had a wonderful experience. Remember with all these negative reviews that you're more likely to leave a review if you're upset, and less likely to leave a nice review if you're satisfied, like this one. We're foreigners on vacation here. We were treated fairly and promptly. We were able to speak English to two staff members during our time here. I guess I won't go into our personal medical records, but expect to pay around $50 USD (September 2022) for your initial consultation. The prices have been fair and reasonable. The staff was kind and helpful. Everyone did their best to make us comfortable and helped us understand what was going on.

Like any overcrowded and messy public hospital, just a bit cleaner and better equipped. Fair enough if you go private or thru a third party insurance. Sign in the Hospital's insurance system at your own peril, a shameful scam they call Health Plan (Plan de Salud). Mind the difference, it could cost your life

I found them exceedingly reassuring and reliable, efficient and engaged. It was a bit of a wait going through A&E, but they really sorted things out in a very professional way and it turned out it was only a head cold. So no blood clots or any of that sort of thing. Which I found a bit humbling for wasting their time. Still, no hard feelings which raises my esteem for the place.

It was founded by Cleto Aguirre from Salta. The origins of the current Hospital de Clínicas date back to 1877, when its construction began. A year later -and still unfinished- it was the scene of the conflict over the federalization of the city of Buenos Aires by functioning as a rifle barracks and a hospital for the concentration of wounded. Attention to the community began shortly after the conflict of 1880, at which time Buenos Aires ceased to be a large village and developed to become the capital city of Argentina, which was experiencing the first waves of immigration and urbanization. A significant number of patients came from the interior, referred by doctors graduated from the Faculty of Medicine who kept a special memory of the aptitudes of their teachers in medicine. The tenured professor was the cone of attraction of the chairs and of the activity of the Hospital rooms. He was an ethical example to be emulated by his students, who supported him, shared his studies, sometimes his table, and even established kinship through marriages based on that relationship of admiration. Important feats of medicine took place in the pavilions of the Hospital de Clínicas: the first application of insulin, the description of Ayerza's Disease, Tobías syndrome, Castex syndromes, the first cardiac catheterization, the first medical residencies, the first Ethics Committee, experimental surgery, the first kidney punctures and the first thoracotomies, among others. The first filmed operation in the history of medicine occurred in this hospital. It was in 1899 and was in charge of the Argentine doctor Alejandro Posadas. The film is seven minutes long and was found in 1971, when the old building was preparing for demolition. It was exhibited on December 14, 2001 to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the hospital. [1] Built according to the models of its time, the design was inspired by the Friedrichshain Hospital in Berlin and the lazaretto in Karlsruhe. They claim they have a guardia or emergency but in reality they dont. You won't find a doc but you'll find loads of support staff. Not helpful when they've got support staff but no docs or nurses to actually help. It's claimed to be one of the best hospitals for kids but good luck trying to see a doc. My 5 year old had a fever for 3 days and convulsions so we decided to go to this hospital. Arrived and waited an hour for no one so I went banging on the guardia door, spoke to informes, admisión, orientation, etc but no help. I had to burst into their lunch room where at least 5 nurses were sitting down chatting just to get help. Screaming for help is the one way to go. You need to make a stink, bursting into rooms to get help. That's not how a hospital should run. Why must you have 5 people in informes, one in admison, one in orientation and ZERO doctorss???!!!! They've got no problem sending security at me but a doctor they don't have.

I went to the guard with my son, the initial attention was good, but they don't inform you that in addition to the registration you make, you have to ask the doctors for a number. My daughter was born here and I should say that here I got the best attention and treatment. The food was ok for vegetarians, the staff doesn't speak English but they were trying very hard to be understood. The room was nice and clean, my husband and a son came to visit me many times. Registro Civil here also did a great job. My special thanks to Doctor Gaston Domergue who operated me. It's been 3 months already since my planned C-section and I feel just great. My previous child was born in a private hospital in the USA and I think here people are more friendly, qualified and caring. If I ever decide to have another child, I'll give the birth here)

I had already had surgery twice in another place and the change was enormous, from the attention, the speed, the treatment in general, the human support and the services such as psychology and voluntary groups that permanently help the sick and their families. That hospital is a disaster. Yesterday I went to the guard. Two hours of waiting and I had to go. In that period of time, 3 people attended, each one no more than 15'. The remaining time I don't know what the medical staff was doing. We were like 20 waiting at the guard. They treat you if you arrive by ambulance. Or if you're dying on watch. Yesterday I had to do a mammary puncture. I was attended by Dr. Laura Cosaka. Both she and her assistant are excellent professionals and very warm, to go through a difficult time for me. The Institute's facilities are very clean and cozy, the receptionists are very friendly. The entire process was excellent, fast and efficient.

Beautiful hospital and professionals. I had epilepsy surgery and I have never felt so cared for. Excellent team of neurologists and neurosurgeons. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Seoane x the excellent job you did together with your beautiful team.

What can I tell you? This place is perhaps better than any private clinic. They operated on my mother for a very complex pancreas surgery. The doctor. Cobos and his team, great professionals.
