On the 4th (Saturday), after more tests, a tumor was seen requiring surgery, which was carried out last Thursday, 11/24. The surgery was a success, the entire tumor was removed without any further complications. Today Monday, 11/27, I left the ICU and am recovering in the room. I've been with my grandmother at HDH twice in the last 30 days. The first time on October 21st in orthopedics, service provided by the doctor Barbara Miroski de Oliveira Pinto. The second appointment was today, a clinical appointment by doctor Murilo Melocra. In both appointments, the doctors were very clear, detailed and were excellent in their consultations. Even though consultations were carried out in the emergency room, the service was very complete and all possible information was provided. Service at reception and screening was also very good and courteous.

On Saturday, 02/08, my wife and I were admitted to the hospital through the emergency ward. We needed obstetric care. The reception was perfect. The nurses were amazing. The doctor who carried out the first assessment did well. But everything fell apart when they told us that there was NO doctor responsible for ultrasounds at the hospital, they were on alert. This specific doctor was supposed to be at the beach, as it took him over an hour to arrive. When he attended to my wife, he treated it as if it were nothing. A cretin. In a moment of total fragility. Irresponsibility on the part of the hospital for not having a team on duty (probably to save a few bucks) and the doctor is certainly from that new generation who only thinks about fundraising. Ultrasound care was vital for us, regardless of whether it changed the result or not. We just wanted an answer. The doctor (whose name I will refrain from mentioning here, but you will find out from the ombudsman) came in, gave the diagnosis and simply left. He left the rest to the other doctor who attended to us first (very well) and to the nurses. There's no point in having a hospital that prides itself on having whatever it is, with each professional identified by the color of their uniform and having emergency medical care that is rubbish. Ridiculous. Unfortunate for a hospital that was once a reference in the region. As for the doctor, I wish him no harm. I just want life to give him the same treatment he gives his patients. Terrible hospital! The reception on the first floor is the worst I have ever seen. Disgraceful service and attitude from employees. I spent almost an hour waiting to be seen by reception and it was after the exam time. The receptionist told me very harshly that I wouldn't be served and I showed her the time I got the password, 58 minutes before! She got up, stamping her foot and only answered me because she had no choice. The service for booking exams is even worse, if anything.

I had an ear problem last month and I went to this hospital that charged me for a consultation without first telling me that they did NOT have an ENT doctor available who could help me (even after having gone through the screening), and now even having spoken to the ombudsman, they claim that I was notified, which is an absurd lie. I have never been ignored in a hospital, not even in the same unit, but this time it was different. I was seen by the doctor Raphael Augusto Travernard Neves de Oliveira CRM 119677, he asked about my symptoms, I explained that last year I had a migraine attack for 2 months (I was even admitted to the same hospital, in addition to undergoing several tests), finally I was diagnosed with anxiety and chronic sinusitis due to low immunity. After I explained my entire case, according to the doctor and my clinical condition in his eyes, I was “just having a cold”. I didn't agree, and asked us to do the tomography, detailing that I had done the last tomography in less than 2 months, as it was exactly the same. I left there with a prescription for antibiotics, 2 types of corticosteroids, painkillers and nasal wash, as I had a cyst preventing drainage. But to the doctor it was just a cold. DETAIL: the doctor always laughed when I said that my pain was a grade 7.

I was extremely disappointed with this and even with the information that my son was born at 37 weeks, and the correct one was 39s and 2 d. Unfortunately, I am very hurt and disappointed with the negligence of the professional who was supposed to inform me of this very important information. It turns out that the corridors on the HED bed floors do not have air conditioning for employees, with temperatures above 40⁰ in the summer, these poor professionals are forced to work dripping with sweat, sometimes even with deconcentration and their memory fails, and they can come making mistakes unintentionally due to the strong heat in the corridors, wrong medication for patients, etc. Patients have air conditioning in their rooms, but the corridors and other facilities where technicians and nurses circulate do not have air conditioning. This is inhumane and those who can pay the price for this are the patients since the HED administration sacrifices its nurses by not providing the basic things that are the appropriate temperature to work, how can you work in such heat? How to concentrate? So every time a family member is admitted there, they will be cared for by professionals who are under strong pressure and heat.

I had my children at the hospital, I had other procedures and today I am hospitalized having a tubal ligation. My biggest disappointment!! The other times I had no problem, but now. Simple surgery that ended at 9:00, I stayed in the recovery room for more than three hours, nurses passed in front of me They ignored my questions, my husband had no news (they said they had warned me) a total disregard. I do not recommend the maternity ward at this hospital to anyone. I went through a traumatic process on the day of birth. When it was the next day, 09/18/2023, they started taking medication due to the discharge that was coming out of me, which by the way hurt my entire arm due to the inexperience of the nursing team. When it was afternoon, they took me to the emergency room and found that the umbilical cord was out (cord prolapse). The doctors immediately sent me to the surgical suite, but when I got there, I was surprised by the information that I I didn't want to invest in my baby's survival, since I would never say that and that was not said by me or my partner, in that moment of tension I had to take a stand saying that I wanted a cesarean section and I would like to invest in my baby and I wanted the same to be true for uterine birth, given that 3 years ago I had a natural birth at 22 weeks and my baby was stillborn, I wanted to have a different experience! They performed an emergency cesarean section, my baby was born and went to the neonatal ICU, I went to bed to recover and receive medication. Never again! I took my girlfriend to this hospital because she was having strong abdominal pains on 07/02/21. The two doctors were recent graduates v. inexperienced. One of them actually told me that Coca-Cola was a good drink for hidration!!! Today we spent most of our day worrying that we may have contracted Covid seen as one in every 5 staff members were either not wearing a mask or wearing them inappropriately. We had complained to the night manager, who didn't care less! To pay for the treatment they tell you to go to talk to a manager in his glass office. This guy not only charged us 5000 Reais which is an obscene amount, but had zero empathy or people skills. And to think that the doctor actually wanted her to stay overnight, probably to be able to bill me ten times as much!!! This hospital has some serious issues.

Everything was excellent, from the operating team (special thanks to the amazing doctor Alexandre Santa Cruz, the best orthopedic surgeon there is!!!) until the nursing staff (impeccable and extremely professional, available and kind), the cleaning service (very effective) to the food!!!! (I never ate so well in a hospital!!!). The medical and customer care are so good that you enjoy being there and feel extremely safe and protected until you are ready to return home! Congratulations to all parties!!! I fully recommend this hospital!

Took us 3 hours to get treated with a basic appointment (ear infection) and sort out the insurance stuff, very slow

Hospital is not well equipped to attend cold symptoms at the emergency. You will have to wait for the arrival of an specialist at 10 AM so that he can look inside your ear canal with an otoscope.
