It seems to be the best among the many hospitals in Monterrey for health check-ups. All hospitals are friendly... I was satisfied with the most detailed check. I was able to see the doctor more comfortably than at other general hospitals. The food in the last week was tastier than any other hospital.

Great hospital. Better service than some hospital in the US.

Hands down, one of the best hospitals I've ever been to. Within minutes of bringing my dad here, the entire team was assisting him with his high blood pressure and symptoms of a stroke. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's important to keep in mind that this is a private hospital, so if you don't have insurance, they will ask you to deposit a certain amount of money into the account. Make sure to mention that you are self-pay. So they can bundle everything up into one packet. I was so impressed with the ability to be able to just walk down to the administrative office and ask what my balance was and get that information within seconds. It is worth every single penny they charge.

I was a patient her for 2 nights and it had truly been one a the better experiences of being at a hospital ever. Staff was attentive, cleanliness was amazing and the over all experience with my surgeon was amazing! Highly recommend! Coming from the USA, this is like being at a 5 star hotel!

I can’t begin to express how much I enjoyed my visit here. From Admission, medical, food service everyone was so kind! Also, food was a 10/10!

Madhouse, worst service at ER

Terrible facilities, the room we paid for without heating, the chair old and hard, the recliner broken... a 29-inch television located almost on the ceiling of the room. Not to mention that those who visited us had to wait on the street because their waiting areas do not know who they are designated for... a complete mistake to have chosen this hospital to give birth to my daughter.

The doctor is excellent, but the security personnel are disgusting, zero common sense, they treat you as if you were begging them for alms, at 8pm my sister arrived to greet my husband, but my brother-in-law was there and as he was leaving I went down to wait with her, my idea was to wait in the entrance room, which by the way was empty, and they didn't let us, they told us we had to wait outside, the truth is, that had never happened to me in a private clinic 😡 the security people were very rude

TERRIBLE SERVICE from the guards, they have ZERO empathy, AGREE in all areas, because before going I contacted them to see if they would let me in, the nurse said no problem, to mention that it is on the second floor in the short stay When the security personnel arrived, they asked me and I told them where I was going. They asked me for the name of the patient and when I told them they started searching and told me in an annoyed tone: “IT'S NOT TRUE.” A tall lady with glasses who was sitting there started rude to tell me that there was only for pregnant women, so I dialed to confirm and the RUDE lady started telling the other guards not to let me in because there was another person there that I was talking to, they really treat you like If you were committing a crime, instead of having empathy, the lady who works there is super rude, YOU KNOW WHO SHE IS because they told me that "THIS IS SHE WAS" I mean, she has several complaints, I told them that they had told me that it was possible, that I would not have gone there without asking, and they would not let me in, and they told me that the nurses and doctors DID NOT HAVE A VOICE OR VOTE, that they should dedicate themselves to their own thing, I asked them to file a formal COMPLAINT or at least a suggestion and With a mocking tone they told me: THESE ARE NOT HOURS and they passed me on to the admission card, for what? If she is the same, she told me that the only ones who had “the power” were the guards and that if they said no, it was NO, so I told her that my annoyance was that I asked if it was possible to enter, before going, and that right there they asked and told me that if the corresponding area and that I had not driven there for this to happen, she told me that she could not do anything, so AGREE IN ALL THE AREAS, so I returned and They marked me again, the nurse said to let me in, OF COURSE YOU COULD, and I told the RUDE guard again along with that lady, and another man arrived and they asked him if it was possible? And he told them yes, to let me pass... COULD NOT? They really have more empathetic and kind staff, because it is a paying hospital, and one does not go there to be treated that way, learn to have adequate service and have a complaints and suggestions department so that they can see all their areas of opportunity and improve them, do not be mediocre and stay with the complaint “that in the end nothing happens” but of course what happens, because voice in voice is the most powerful…. As for the nurses, my respects, but the guards, who are the INITIAL image of the hospital, leave you wanting to burn the bad service they have EVERYWHERE... Don't go to that hospital, there are more expensive hospitals, of better quality and you will They treat you with a lot of kindness and empathy, just like places like the IMSS where the guards have more empathy than there, not like CHRISTUS MUGUERZA, they look like police officers dealing with criminals... I had the worst experience at this hospital, first they lied to me about the waiting time for my lab results. They asked me to come back in 6 hours for my result and before they told me over the phone that it was gonna be 3 hour wait. Then I called before the 6 hours to ask if my results were ready the lady said she sent me the results through email and that they were normal and I that I don’t have to see a doctor. I believed her and we proceed to return to USA after I opened my email for results and I saw my cholesterol level in red I called the hospital and they told me I have to see a doctor because they can’t read the results only a doctor. They wanted me to set up another appointment and waist another day in Tijuana. I asked for an appointment over the phone and they said because I was a first time patient a have to have an in person appontiment. I don’t agree with this because they lied to me on everything, they don’t even help you or guide you when you’re there in person. These people only care about your money please don’t go over here. I regret having my test on this place they are not transparent and not professional at all. 😢

I’ve been coming here regularly for almost 7 months to treat my tumor in my hand, I’ve hand multiple surgeries and each one has been successful and quick. The border medical pass is a huge perk which eliminates the need to wait hours in line to get back to the states.

I was blown away by the quality of care I received! Modern facilities, dedicated staff, and the peace of mind knowing I wasn't sacrificing my savings. This place is setting new standards.

Please remove Cynthia Solís (plastic) from this hospital. My family and I were her patients and she almost killed one of us. She is ignorant, an extreme danger to patients and commits medical malpractice for which she is currently under investigation.

My second time here in the past month…this is one of the best Hospitals I’ve ever been in. Excellent staff, World class service. No problems whatsoever like the other reviews. Blue Cross insurance was accepted and I was taken care of around the clock. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Went in to get an abscess removed on three different visits. I was scheduled at 10am but the room wasn't available until 8pm. Told to wait. I luckily asked for a written cost estimate and was told 58,000 PESOS (not including blood work, ultrasound and "hospital fees"). I said "no" and before I left, I paid the receptionist the 2,000 peso consult fee which she strangely handed over to one of the doctors. I never got a receipt for the two times that I paid. I went down the street and had the abscess removed for 2,000 pesos. BE SURE TO GET A WRITTEN COST ESTIMATE BEFORE ANY PROCEDURE. GO ELSEWHERE- THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF! 30x more than the competition. Shady billing, accounting, payment, no receipts and handing cash to doctors?

Good doctors, half of the nursing staff are very attentive, and the other half need a customer service course, and there are no insurance personnel on weekends... no one from the insurance takes care of you on Saturdays or Sunday. I do not recommend👎

I am currently hospitalized in this place and the truth is that I feel that the service gives a lot to be desired, the nursing shifts go to extremes, some are good and others are bad. It's six in the afternoon and they haven't come to clean the room, I told the nurse on duty and he says that it's not up to him to file the report, so what do I do? why so "how cheap is the stay" well, no

My cousin went to this hospital to have this removed since it went through her finger. Doctor Carmona Estrada Mayra attended my cousin and told her that anesthesia was not needed, plus she was really busy. My cousin sat through all that pain of having it pulled out with no pain reliever. That doctor had also told her that even if she opened up her finger that she wouldn’t put no anesthesia on it. After all that pain my cousin went to another hospital because there was a broken piece of the object still left in her finger. This Doctor needs to go because she couldn’t even perform this normal task to help out her patient.

Bad experience at this hospital with doctors not being honest and staff is rude. Their not helpful at all and there just out for your money. They have no true concern about your family member. They lie about how the patient is doing and if anything they make them worst to your expense. It was truly heartbreaking to realize how bad this hospital is. Don’t take your family members here. Find a different place.Funny thing is that I wrote a detail review of everything that happened and for some reason it’s not on here. Point is don’t trust them with your love ones. Question what there doing and why. Research to see if they even need certain things they ask you for and what the purpose of it is.

A lot of patience in the external consultation Archive and in the consultations themselves, sometimes the doctors do not arrive or they assign others who should not and you have to make an appointment again in the Archive. But they are no longer scheduling APPOINTMENTS for 2023 because they don't have a 2023 Agenda. Well that's what they say...

Hosp de la familia (Terror story) Hospital de la familia : Do not go here unless you want yo die!! My experience at the hospital : Right as we walked In they take us into a small room asked for the money! Our money got taken, immediately . I mean as soon as we walked in $5,950 +580. We were sent to the waiting room, the fear kicked in immediately as we were left in the waiting room watching this woman Maritsa leaving with our money. I was in tears ! Scared out of my mind thinking we had just been scammed! Soon they came to get us to bring us into room 212. The dresser was old and faded , so was the blanket and the dinner tray. I was so terrified that every time they took my blood pressure it was extremely high! My blood pressure continued to be high as Martiza kept getting defensive, talking over us and defending her unprofessionalism and her greedy actions . She did not try to be sympathetic or understanding. She made sure to talk over us, making sure we didn’t get heard , and that only what she wanted to say and wanted done being the only thing was being accomplished. My constant fear of being scammed I asked for receipts for all the money that had been given to her, she was annoyed at the fact, and stormed out! I was taken to a room where more test were done . The surgeon came in poked at where he wanted to work on. They wheeled me into the operating room. I woke up with no surgery done at all! When I woke up I was asked by a man in the operating room with a terrifying look on his face if I couldn’t remember what happened? I told him no! The other doctor in the room with the almost same look but more of fear & concern, said SO YOU REALLY CANNOT REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED?? Once again , I told him no, I wasn’t being told what happened instead they all were terrified!! I was wheeled back into the room where my husband was waiting for me. There my husband asked me if I knew what happened? I told him no, but he had the same look of terror in his eyes. He then told me I had died . The surgeon told the nurses to get him where he proceeded to tell my husband that there was a complication and that my heart stopped after my larynx closed on me and that they had to preform chest compressions and that I was brought back and was stable , that as soon as I could get enough of the anesthesia to ware off , I would be brought back to my room to him. They then told him they only got to make the holes for the operation but no operation took place and they could not operate due to the “ complications “ They brought me back to room after that my surgeon Dr. Sariana disappeared completely! We never saw him again. There was another surgeon called in and he was the one we delt with . The consultation service group disappeared with my money . Sent me charges that now doubled my original quote. Now I have no surgery and my money’s been stolen due to their negligence. But I’m being charged due to the hospital not wanting to discharge us and said we must stay a extra nights here! Even though we wanted to leave we were told we would not be able to be discharged until the surgeon discharged us and he refused to do so and left us there accumulating charges for extra nights. When I was finally discharged the nurse said they had destroyed the vein where I had my IV and said no fluid was even going in anymore it was just all accumulating in my body. I was able to make a stop payment for the cashiers check that the consultation company wanted to keep even though they didn’t preform my surgery. They kept $850. Dollars I payed them in cash . But now they are charging me for the hospital stay I didn’t have a choice on, and I want the hospital to know that this whole experience has been a night mare. These people that you have working in your hospital are scam artist and I hope you think twice before you let portofino consulting do this to any other poor women who put their trust in this company. Please reach out to me and let me know what you plan on doing about this company’s terrible service, bill and what’s going to be done here.

I came to this hospital in October 2021 to get a tubal reversal. We made the decision to go to Mexico for surgery because of the cost compared to the U.S and I don’t regret my decision! It was clean, professional, and comfortable. The doctor who performed my surgery explained everything to my husband and I thoroughly and even showed us pictures. Although I do recommend taking someone with you if you can, who is bilingual because some of the nurses and I had trouble communicating since I don’t know Spanish, luckily my husband does and was able to translate things though. Maritza was the person who facilitated the appointment and was very responsive, she even met us at the hospital on a Saturday (the day of my appointment) to check us in. Most importantly though my tubal reversal was successful! I’ve had an hsg procedure back home in San Diego which confirmed this. I have not gotten pregnant yet though but I’m hopeful it will happen soon.I just wanted to share my experience to any other person it may help.

I highly recommend anyone who is thinking of having a sort of medical procedure this is the place to have it done. I am over the moon with how well I was treated by not only the nurses and hospital staff but Dr. S, Dr. Mariana, Penelope and Maritza were exceptionally wonderful to work with. I had weight loss revision surgery and could not be happier. I will be going back at some point for plastics. Thank y’all for being so good to me and my mom.
