Super-delayed patient care, I don't want to imagine where a calamity happens and more than 30 people arrive, they will die here, I have a pain in my stomach since 4 in the morning, diarrhea, vomiting, fever and chills, I arrived at 3:00 pm and it's 6:00 pm and they don't attend to me, I have to writhe in pain to be attended to.

They do not do their job well, 7 hours in the emergency room and do not attend and then say that they cannot attend to a patient

Undoubtedly one of my best experiences, location in the center of the city, excellent medical and administrative staff, old but well-kept infrastructure, spacious with gardens.

This opinion is directed to block 6 of the hospital, which is in an area where you can see people who consume drugs, although there is surveillance and once inside the hospital it is safer, if it is scary, at least walk to the hospital at dawn, and block 6 is opened at 6 in the morning and meanwhile everything is dark or with little light, a perfect place for homeless people, you have to travel with great caution and at least if you are patient and come from somewhere other than Medellín, it is not advisable to be in line before 6 in the morning to check in at block 6, arrive with 5 minutes left or at 6:00 am, there a guard opens the door and when you are already inside the place is much more pleasant and neat, there is a waiting room with chairs where you can wait for them to call you for the billing card, there are elevators, there is natural ventilation in that waiting room, almost all the staff there are friendly to the extent they should be. I give it a 3 star rating, for a not very pleasant event that I had to go through in there, I think that of all the possible days in which that bad event had to happen, it happened just on the day of my appointment, I don't know who it was from the fault of that negligence but thanks to a call to my eps I was able to quickly solve that difficulty so as not to continue in that unpleasant situation in that hospital block.

Bad bad. The treatment is derogatory towards low-income people. If you want to receive good treatment, dress well and show that you are of good economic standing. And if the patients are "eps" things get worse.

Terrible service, it is a clinic of low quality and deficient medical care without professional ethics. Due to malpractice, a great doctor died when he was only admitted for an appendicitis operation, the operation went wrong and it became complicated. All for a hospital without a well-sterilized and clean room to do their operations.

Very professional in patient care and attention. Currently they are one of the few hospitals that has prostheses for knee arthroplasty. They have a very good rehabilitation service. The facilities are very clean and permanently disinfected.

I was in the emergency room on August 4, 2023 and I have never been so well attended. The entire nursing team is very dear, welcoming, providing humanized care. I have never been ignored in a hospital, not even in the same unit, but this time it was different. I was seen by the doctor Raphael Augusto Travernard Neves de Oliveira CRM 119677, he asked about my symptoms, I explained that last year I had a migraine attack for 2 months (I was even admitted to the same hospital, in addition to undergoing several tests), finally I was diagnosed with anxiety and chronic sinusitis due to low immunity. After I explained my entire case, according to the doctor and my clinical condition in his eyes, I was “just having a cold”. I didn't agree, and asked us to do the tomography, detailing that I had done the last tomography in less than 2 months, as it was exactly the same. I left there with a prescription for antibiotics, 2 types of corticosteroids, painkillers and nasal wash, as I had a cyst preventing drainage. But to the doctor it was just a cold. DETAIL: the doctor always laughed when I said that my pain was a grade 7.

On 10/23/2023 I was admitted to the hospital to have my cesarean section, so far everything was fine, everything was perfect with the service. However, my newborn was born with a lingual frenulum and no one from the medical team informed me about this. For me, A VERY SERIOUS MISTAKE, especially because the test in maternity is the law. I had a lot of difficulty breastfeeding even with a full breast in the hospital and no pediatric doctor gave me any guidance. One of the nurses told me that the pediatrician on duty was asking me for permission to take the formula, as the right-handed man was showing low blood sugar levels and NOBODY... gave me this very IMPORTANT information and obviously I didn't accept it, as my chest was sore. so full. I was discharged on Thursday 10/26 and only found out about the frenulum on 10/30 when I went to a private pediatrician, by which time my son had already lost a lot of weight. Since 10/30 I've been fighting with my little one, where he needed surgery on the lingual frenulum and only now after almost 20 days did my son start eating properly. I was extremely disappointed with this and even with the information that my son was born at 37 weeks, and the correct one was 39s and 2 d. Unfortunately, I am very hurt and disappointed with the negligence of the professional who was supposed to inform me of this very important information. The rest, such as the nursing team, cleaning and food, were all wonderful.

I didn't imagine we would have such a positive experience, from reception to the surgical center staff, nursing staff, concierge. We were treated with incredible affection, the nurses took care of the patient and companion as if they were family. I had orthognathic surgery last week, the entire team that attended to me during the 4 days were extremely dedicated. Mainly the nursing technicians: Juliana, Rebeca, Nice and Denise. When I was discharged I was afraid I wouldn't have the same care at home, but I needed to free up the room lol. We have been waiting for two hours to be seen in the emergency room by Unimed. My son is classified as “blue”. This is considered not serious. All, I repeat: all the people who have arrived so far have been attended to before him. Does this mean: we arrive, register and wait for new patients to come in and go before them??? That's right? Knowing that we will always wait a long time, because another color gets in front of it. ABSURD.

I went to the obstetric emergency because I'm 13 weeks and there was bleeding. Another pregnant woman and I waited for 2 hours of service, we went to ask and the girl said that it was protocol according to the assessment, finally I arrived at 7:35 and was seen at 9:41 pm and the chairs were empty and they weren't even attending!

Hospital is not well equipped to attend cold symptoms at the emergency. You will have to wait for the arrival of an specialist at 10 AM so that he can look inside your ear canal with an otoscope. Even my throat was looked with a cellphone light. A disappointment. See images of equipments that should be part of the emergency below at the national manual of emergency.

Clean hospital. But extremely expensive. They didn't inform us of the costs and we had to pay 10 times of than other european countries.

Terrible service. Completely disorganized, does care at all about their patients. I was begging them for help in resolving a billing issue and every department just ignored me. Do not go to this hospital. I went to this hospital to get an outpatient procedure done which required that I have an attendant with me. The hospital organized for an attendant to be provided, at a fee, from an outside company. On the day of the procedure I was brought to the billing department by member of their "concierge" team, Fernanda. They have an international "concierge" service which basically provides translators so that you can navigate the hospital if your Portugues is not great. At the billing office I was presented with a bill for the cost of the procedure. I agreed to pay it and was then given a credit card machine to make the payment. When the machine arrived, the amount they were requesting was higher than the quoted amount. When I asked Fernanda, she explained that the additional amount was for the cost of the attendant. I paid the invoice and was only provided with a little slip of paper that showed the amount that I had paid. It didn't say what services I had paid for, just that I had paid a certain amount. I then went and got the procedure done. I was put-under, so I don't know how the actual medical procedure went, but from what I saw before I went under, the medical professionals seemed like they were doing a good job. After the procedure was finished, I was brought to the payment office and presented with a new bill. The bill included the additional cost of part of the procedure, the cost to have a biopsy analyzed and the cost of the attendant (which I already paid for). For the next 3 weeks I was going back and forth with the International department, the complaints department and the billing department, trying to get them to acknowledge the fact that I had already paid for the attendant. No one from any of those departments did a single thing to try to help me. Each department passed me off to another department. The complaints department didn't even reply to my complaint. I had to call them up weeks after I had filed a complaint and they were fully aware of the situation, but didn't have enough respect to let me know that they were working on my case or bother to email or call me to help get it resolved. Neither did the International department. When I asked them to help me resolve the issue they just said "this is not my department, I don't know anything about billing" even though FERNANDA was there and was the one that explained to me that I was paying for the the price of the attendant. The billing department just kept sending me the same invoice over and over again and never acknowledging that I had paid for the attendant. It was only when I finally decided to go to the hospital and pay the bill that anything got done. I had to physically go to the International department and demand that they resolve the issue that instant. I spent another 2 hours going to different departments with the "concierge" lady, getting into arguments and explaining over and over what had happened. It was only then, that they acknowledged that the woman who processed my payment allocated the entire amount to the cost of the procedure, which was why this bill for the attendant was still outstanding. At my insistence they finally removed the charge and I was able to pay the invoice. If you go to a Brazilain Hospital, make sure that you get an itemized invoice for every single payment that you make. A little slip of paper with the amount on it is not enough. They will change the amount that you owe them and you have no proof of what you have already paid for. At the end of the day, I probably wasted about 4-5 hours of my time writing emails, sending messages on Whatsapp and arguing with the staff at the hospital. Not to mention all of the frustration it caused. This could have been resolved after 1 email, had anyone at the hospital taken ownership of the problem and been accountable. DO NOT GO HERE - THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS

Imagine being in a wheelchair, trying to get into urgent care for a surgery you had there, and not being helped about when you arrive, somehow managed to get into the triage and then be left alone, then get the need to use the bathroom at a place not clearly design to be used for people with mobility issues, then the only person available to help you is another patient passing by. It's such a shame that all of this happened here, where I have yet to get medical attention for my urgent needs.

May/ June 2023 After I received such great help on my right hip in March 2023 and I had an unshakeable trust in Dr. Jose Luis Moore Velasques, I asked him to operate on my left hip as soon as possible. Already on May 7th, 2023 I had an operation on my left hip because of unbearable pain. In several clinics I was told that 12 months should elapse between operations. Not so with the doctor I trust. Just 4 days later I flew back to Curacao pain-free. The painkillers were left untouched in the bedside table! Suddenly being able to walk pain-free again was Mr dr Jose Luis Moore Velasques to me. No helpers, no pitying looks, no pain! Being able to participate in normal life again was wonderful. Do not come here even if you think that your dying or have any serious medical problem, absolutely terrible care and attention takes 6-12 hours for them to even do simple blood test or any real examinations. Really there rating should BE honest and lower then where it currently is, also technologically speaking their WAY behind.

If you need immediate medical attention do not come here this is absolutely the worst hospital I've ever had to come, unfortunately, I almost died here from a heart attack and they did nothing to help me except treat me like a ragdoll. Absolute garbage attention and no care for the patients, I literally had to waddle my way out of that hospital as If this is a movie, I would give them ZERO STARS if I could, save uour time and go elsewhere.

2 months ago was my aunt's valve change operation and it was a complete success. I am very grateful for everything they did before, during and after the operation. The months before the operation, each of the specialists showed a very humane treatment, an adjective that paradoxically is seen less and less in doctors. After the operation, they kept her hospitalized for more than 3 weeks and did not discharge her until the tests they performed daily gave good results, that is, without showing any rush to free up a bed, prioritizing the patient's safety.
