I recently had an unfortunate experience at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital that compelled me to share my thoughts. My father-in-law was admitted for an emergency procedure, and what transpired during our visit left me deeply disheartened. Initially, we were given an estimate of ₹2,09,000 plus consumables for the procedure, but upon discharge, the cost had escalated to ₹3,57,000 - a staggering 75% increase. Seeking clarification at the billing desk, I received vague answers and was directed to the assistant doctor of the surgeon, who then asked us to wait for Dr. Mandar Deshpande. After a prolonged wait, Dr. Mandar Deshpande eventually met with us but became defensive when questioned about the unexpected cost surge. Despite my attempts to engage in a civil conversation, things turned unpleasant as Dr. Deshpande raised his voice and directed us back to the billing department. We would not believe a doctor could behave in such a manner. The situation escalated further when security was called, and my wife and I were confined to a room with the promise that someone from billing would explain the invoices. To our dismay, we were still waiting for someone to come for over 45 minutes, prompting us to consider leaving. Later, Rajashesh Savant, the senior security personnel, decided to come but immediately resorted to using foul language and even attempted to file a false FIR against us. He threatened us with a silly claim that I had kidnapped my father-in-law so that we would not pay the bill. We asked him to check the cameras that a nurse had released him, and second to think if our intention was not to pay the bill (and run away), then why would we go to the billing counter to ask for the bill to pay? Why would we just not run away without paying? I explained to him the reason my father-in-law had left a little early was because he was in pain after the surgery and he had to travel six hours to get back home, so we stayed back so that he could leave to get back home before it was too dark. When logic did not prevail, he asked his security guards to physically restriction us and attempt to seize our belongings. When tried to take pictures and videos the guard literally tried to snatch my phone by inserting his hands into my pocket. How can a medical institution employ goons like these? Ultimately, exhausted and under duress, we decided to settle the bill after intervention from a senior police officer. The entire incident unfolded in the hospital lobby, possibly captured on video. This experience has raised several concerns about the conduct of the hospital staff and the apparent lack of accountability. Seeing such behavior from a healthcare institution where open communication and understanding should be paramount is disheartening. Questions arise about the hospital's choice of personnel, particularly those who cannot engage in polite conversations and provide explanations when required. The ordeal also raises questions about the conduct of security personnel. Last but not least, observe the cleanliness when you are in the hospital. It is one the worst; besides the lobby, the wards and especially the bathrooms are not to the cleanliness standard of a medical institution. I hope to shed light on the challenges faced during my visit to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, emphasizing the need for better communication and a more patient-friendly approach from the medical and administrative staff. There are better hospitals in Mumbai, and you should consider those before considering Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

Hospital clean and good staff but bathrooms cleaning not done. No one taking care.. it's always stinking ,no tissue papers or toilet rolls..no housekeeping supervisor around to whom we can show the dirty washroom on ground floor...the bathroom cleaner was forced to clean but she was using one cloth to wipe seat covers which can be a serious breeding ground for infection and a dirty mop which could never dry floor..no Dettol or sanitizer in or around washroom .. dirty smell all over ..wash basins equally stained and dirty and wet on the counter...we request management to immediately take action to improve condition of such a gifted hospital ...there was no suggestion box found so posting. It's a request for all the washrooms conditions to be improved for patients relatives.

Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital 🏥 is one of the best hospitals 🏥 in Mumbai and in India 🇮🇳 . Excellent infrastructure. Hospital is very clean. I've had my executive health check up over there. And I've got good experience at the hospital 🏥. Every department is marked with systematic colorful lines which you have to follow on the floor so as to commute inside hospital. No need to ask anyone unless you have colorblindness 😉. Reception staff at EHC are very helpful and cooperative. I've gone for routine medical check up. Doctors are knowledgeable. The most important thing I like about kokilaben hospital that they sends all the reports thru mail. No hassle or waiting for the hard copy of the reports. And food 🍲 is really good. You won't feel like you are eating hospital 🏥 food 🍲.

My experience at Jaslok was really good. I felt comfortable and always taken good care throughout my stay at Jaslok. Dr. Chibber assured me throughout the entire process , and his mild smiles always conjured me up. His team of doctors were also very knowledgeable and provided all sorts of timely assistance. My mother was admitted to Jaslok for a small surgery. I'm really impressed with overall ease in all the processes, starting from admission to billing and TPA insurance. Staff is very polite and helpful. We had taken Class-A single occupancy room and it was pretty good. I must mention that the food served was tasty and filling. All the doctors and nurses we interacted with, were patient and guided us with all our concerns and queries. Overall, I'm happy with the experience and thankful to the entire team for their services.

Visited for consultation with a very senior doctor. However felt the procedures here were like money extraction machine. I had got MRI and CT DVD which the doctors didn't view themselves and asked for review (as per their procedure) from their team of Radiologists. It was very costly TBH. I'm still forming my view of this place. Don't get confused by the name it's a private hospital and super expensive.

Hospital staff is very helpful n polite. You would get the best doctors and nurses out here…. It is clean and hygienic. Car parking can be a problem out here but you can park your car outside the hospital. You can find ample space to sit with your relatives outside the building. My mother in law was admitted in fortis hospital on18 nov 23. In ICU. On 23 nov Dr told to shift to room. Icu dept informed us that they will shift within three hours. So we waited out side ICU. But they shifted him on 24 evening. In these 36 hours we were only listening they will shift with two hours like this. In the room they were serving lunch at 3 pm. The patient was diabitic and old but they were serving not before 3 pm. Thinking fortis should improve the services.

Have been coming here for one year plus for various reasons but I absolutely dread it every time since I would end up waiting for over an hour just to meet my doctor for 5 minutes and then the payment would take over an hour after that. Recently it has gotten so much worse. Doctor asked me to do an MRI for my ankle and they told me to be there an hour early. In the end, I had to wait for over an hour just to be transported to the MRI center. The person at the registration counter at the MRI center was really rude and gave me judgemental looks too. I was then asked to make a follow up appointment to review the MRI scan with my doctor. I tried to make an appointment online through their system but didn't get a response from them then they suddenly called me on the day itself and asked "are you coming for your appointment right now?" when I wasn't notified that my appointment is confirmed so I couldn't make it. I tried making an appointment online again, but didn't get a response through email or call. I tried calling them but was put on hold for over 15 minutes and when I finally got to talk to someone, the call got disconnected.

Was given appointment at 4pm but waited till 8pm. When ask, nurse give a very stupid excuse 'first come first basis'. If first come first basic then WHY GIVE TIME AND ASK NOT TO BE LATE???? This is ridiculous! So call private hospital but system sucks!!!! Is worse than government hospital. So many bad reviews with regards to waiting time, nurse rude and yet no improvement. Respond to review was 'cut and paste'. The management, please look into it seriously!

I m very disappointed with the system of client appointment at this hospital. Totally waste of time! 3 times was here, and all times I spent 2 -3 hrs!!! Where doctor see me only for 3-5 min. So much time takes to register, then to wait the appointment (initially the appointment was fixed, but always have to wait). And then to wait to pay for appointment. Second time the doctor was very rude when I asked him about my problem. Then he says “why I have to repeat so many times to you to understand..”. I was really trying to understand that I need that surgery he was suggesting me.

I just went there for biopsy. There is no proper communication. Absolutely greedy. Exorbitant charging. Please do not prefer the hospital. Staffs are arrogant. A 2 ml syring is coating rs. 18. Shamless hospital. They suck your blood say it is not tasty.

This hospital is the epitome of atrocity globally. My father was admitted due to a heart-related issue, and they subjected his frail body to numerous tests and experiments, further weakening him. Despite his delicate state, they proceeded with the bypass surgery without assessing his thin and feeble condition or considering whether his body could endure the procedure. The experiments conducted by them ultimately cost him his life. The doctors displayed a complete lack of support and denied visitation. During my last attempt to see my father before the surgery, they refused entry, escorting him to the operation theatre without allowing a proper farewell. From a distance, my father kept looking at me, desiring to meet, but these heartless individuals denied us that privilege. The management is deplorable. My father meant everything to me, and now, we are facing financial hardship, finding ourselves on the streets. In just four days, they generated a bill of 8 lakh rupees. I earnestly implore you to refrain from choosing this hospital based on the harrowing experience my family endured. I wouldn't wish this upon anyone else, but the decision is yours. The repercussions of such suffering only affect the families involved, not others.

Recently i admit my dad in Metro Hospital under Gastrology, we have a worst experience, - The doctor in gastro OPD recommended , sleeping pills to a serious liver patient, my dad, which is wrong as per medical science. - OPD to Ward - Ward To HDU - in just 1 DAY - NO improvement only worse condition in 4 days - - The nursing staff is worse in ICU HDU , which is the main thing they do not have the correct knowledge. - Very much Money Minded Hospital .

Terrible experience. Doctors are happy to write false medical records for some reason and upon asking to correct it they don't want to. They cancel appointments because they don’t want to have to deal with the issue. The service staff who they give the issue to don’t respond to emails or return calls. The place looks great however the service has been a nightmare.

Did a sleep test here and stayed for a night. All the staffs are very professional and caring. The room was comfortable and had everything you need. I myself also worked in healthcare and really appreciate the high standards of practice here. Hospital food was surprisingly very nice. I got boiled rice with seabass soup which was delicious. You can also order other meals from the restaurants in the hospital (Coco Ichibanya / Seefah) Highly recommended.

Be wary of their dual pricing practices! My brother (Thai) needed MMR and tetanus vaccinations, so we scheduled an appointment with a specialist on the 8th floor (section C). Upon settling our bill, the cashier had to rectify the charges, having mistakenly charged my brother the "foreigner rate," which was a staggering 1,800 baht higher. It is appalling that even this self-proclaimed international hospital resorts to such discriminatory pricing schemes. Needless to say, this hospital has earned a spot on my personal blacklist.

AVOID THEIR ER. They will give you test and procedures that has nothing to do with what you came for. Pregnancy Test and CT Scan for cough and sore throat?! Come on! Stop scamming people! If you really must visit them, always ask and check first what they want to do. If it's irrelevant, just SAY NO! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

My relative was confined in this hospital for four days. In those four days, her doctor only visited her twice but charged us P8,000 as PF. Nurses only came in when called--via phone because the nurse call button was cut. We were monitoring our patient's fever ourselves. I've reviewed the bill and there were questionable charges as well like gloves, tape etc. It's not as if the nurses finished all of those supplies but we were charged for the whole amount nonetheless. This would have been okay if the excess supplies were given to the patient upon discharge. ER charges were unreasonable as well. There were only three patients when we came in yet the whole process of admitting the patient took 2 hours, meanwhile incurring more and more charges in the ER. But the worst part of the experience was requiring the patient to have a companion for the purpose of having someone actually take care of the patient. Doesn't that negate the purpose of going to the hospital? You go to a hospital to get medical treatment and care. But it seemed like we were only there for the convenience of having labs done and having IV fluids--which to be honest can be done at home--because the actual care of the patient came from the companion. In effect, companions need to miss work to take care of the patient. For as long as the patient is confined, they miss the opportunity to earn money--which they need in the first place to be able to pay for the high hospital bill. It's an oppressive system. This set-up would have been forgivable if companions had a comfortable bed if they are required to be with the patient 24/7. But no, they are only given a plastic chair. And even if we get the private room, a companion is still required. People go to private hospitals for better service, but it seems like the only difference between DLSMC and a public hospital is that this hospital has aircon. What a waste of hard-earned money.

This hospital staff doesn't have value for time at all. Keep offering wrong promises at every inquiry, such as hospital duration of stay or discharge expectation or service request. You feel the cutting cost at every corner except at payment desks Doctor promises you 5 min proceedure and one hour stay easily end up with 10 hours stay with no unusual events, ICU nurse promise to attend you in 2 min end up 20 min They work hard, but patients leave with lots of complains and irritation

Excellent medical service. Great physiotherapy sessions with Mr. Luke Hinds. Also the dermatologist Dr. Habiba provides you with full attention and care during consultation. I would highly recommend the facility as long as you have good insurance. On selfpay, it might be expensive but worth the quality of service.

I had a very challenging experience with my recent medical procedure . I was scheduled for a colonoscopy and had been fasting since 6 am the previous day. When I arrived for my 10:30 am appointment, I was not immediately admitted. After inquiring with several staff members, the receptionist instructed me to wait outside, as there were no available rooms, and my procedure was rescheduled for 12 pm. Feeling increasingly frustrated due to hunger, a headache, and the staff's behavior, I eventually voiced my concerns strongly. Seeing my distress, they accommodated me in the nurse's room. This visit was necessary as my usual doctor had left the country, and I had to consult with Dr. Jamil. However, due to this experience, I've decided not to return to that facility.

There are people everywhere who like bullying and harassment. Worst hospital. Only because of good doctor we came here except that each and every thing here is worst. We were in the general ward and there was no nurse call option provided. My father was the attendant and he had surgery just 3 days back and he used to go near the nurse desk for help,l. Except a few nurses all others were very rude. The admission process took a long time because of insurance pre approval even if we had shared all documents 3 days before. Such a big hospital but for billing only one person was there which took a long time during discharge, Bought medicines from hospital of nearly 9k and not a single penny discount on medecine. All tests were 10 times more costly then outside. This hospital is just looting patients. If you have enough money then you can choose this hospital. There is no limit on looting patients here.

Unfriendliness is basic, and sarcasm is a bonus because they ignore patients and criticize them. Also, they don't even know the quantity of supplies they have to manage, so they confidently say they are bragging about it, and when I ask if that makes sense, everyone tells me to put up with it because they don't have any. It's ridiculous, they say it's an essential item, but then they suddenly say it's okay if they don't have it, lol. They took hundreds of dollars of money, but they were really unfriendly as they kept all the money to make sure it was good. Why are you working because your preparation is inadequate and everyone says you don't know what to do?

I was visiting Dubai and had to do some blood tests. I have visited CMC Dubai and informed them that I need the results the second day as I am traveling. Despite several calls and trials to follow up, I was not able to get a satisfying answer, until my call was attended by Raymond, whom he had offered the needed assistance and made sure to receive the results in a timely manner. Raymond has been very helpful, professional and proactive. He followed up on my request and called after to make sure that my case has been resolved. I had my MRI there and the purpose was to look for a serious condition. The neurosurgeon barely answered any questions and I had to force him to look at my MRI. It was shocking ! He also refused to write a report for my rheumatologist. I've never seen this. My rheumatologist had to ask for a report to another radiologist and finally we pinpoint the disease !! This behavior is unacceptable and the last time I checked MRI cost me 1 000 $ ! The minimum he could do was to spend 10 minutes to explain me !

Had an exhilarating stroll around Yonsei campus. There's a bookstore for souvenir university items. Most K dramas have scenes around the campus. Very scenic. A must visit place even for first timers in Korea.

Super sweet and helpful lady navigated the hospital for me. She spoke in English to me and Japanese to the other employees. Sadly they were unable to help me without a reference letter from another doctor. She did help me find another clinic that was able to treat me, which was super nice!

I am grateful for the robot surgery for hepato-biliary-pancreas transplant surgery. It was the first time in 30 years since I was in elementary school that I was handicapped by another hospital and gripped the referral letter. I started out as an outpatient with an uneasy feeling, My primary care doctor was calm and gave me peace of mind. I can't believe I can talk like this and be listened to I don't know if you can explain this much. I was just amazed. Both the outpatient nurses and the staff are very professional and behave It was lovely. From there, I had regular outpatient visits until the surgery date was decided. It was my first general anesthesia, and I don't remember the 34 days after the surgery, but everyone on the team, the CCU, the nurses in the ward, the assistants, and the staff were sincere, and I was relieved. I had an ongoing ear infection. I was seen by one the Ear, nose and throat doctor. I had a follow-up appointment at 10am, I had a confirmation text the day before. I took the day off work as I also had another doctor appointment at 11.30 not in the same hospital. Anyway, at 9.55am I got a call from Acibadem, someone speaking Turkish, I said in English please and then they hung up. Then at 9.57am I had another call from the hospital, this time someone speaking English saying that my appointment had changed to 11am, because my doctor arrived at that time. 3 minutes before the appointment and then I had to wait one hour, no explanations given, nothing. This is not a free hospital, I'm paying as an international patient more that I would pay back in my home country. Why do they feel like they can play with my time, no apologies. Nothing

The oncologist wasn’t there that week, but we discussed with the hospital that we would do the interpretation of the results remotely with the doctor because we live in Tirana, Albania. However, it’s been 3 days, and they haven’t responded. I turned to your hospital with the idea that I might find a solution there. You would have to be an absolute idiot to use this hospital, especially if you are not a Turk! I called today for an appointment and was told I would have to pay in Euro because I was not Turkish, but if I was from another Middle East country I would pay the same as the Turks. I have lived in Turkey for years, and married to a Turkish man. We make the Turkish LIRA! This is not the first bad experience we have had with this Hospital. This hospital will do everything they can to cheat you out of a dollar. Family hospitalization: Guardian review^^ Transportation: Connected to Balsan Station subway. very convenient Procedure: As of 4 weekdays, there were not many people so there was no waiting time. Hospital: The new building is really nice. So pretty. Especially the 4th floor garden.... If you act like a guardian in a hospital room while feeling like you're in a gallery, you're bound to get depressed. I didn't feel depressed as I walked around the buildings with the patients, exercised, and looked at the pictures. Personally, it was better than when I stayed at a 5-star hotel in Seoul. ;; lol Especially at 5 o'clock? There are no people after 6 o'clock, so it's really quiet and nice. Hospital room: I've been to various hospitals and have been a guardian several times, and this is the cleanest. There isn't a single hair in the hallway!! The patient said the bed was very comfortable. Doctors, nurses, staff: in my case, they were all very kind. Convenience store: It is large and has a lot of variety, so it is very convenient. Restaurant/Cafe: Not bad. It's good because there aren't many people on the 4th weekdays. ☆☆☆Be sure to visit the 4th floor garden☆☆☆

A big fan of Hospital Playlist. This is the filming location. The escalator, cafe & walkways are the exact spots. The garden & emergency area are at other locations. So dont go for wild goose chase.

Even if you have appointment, you wait too long. This is ridiculous. Time is precious.

Visit the hospital for a dermatologist that was recommended by a family member. Transaction was smooth, the doc gave all the information I need and explained what was going on. The hospital nice an clean and looks like a 5 star hotel more than a hospital. I paid $120 for the examination and they accept cc. You need to book an appointment ahead of time. Their mobil app is a hustle and has bugs. Book through website or call them for an appointment. This is why I give them 4 stars. After you book they call you for reminder and inform you the amount you will be paying. Arrive at least 15 minutes early as the building is big you need to walk and take elevator to get the section where you will have your examination. There will be paperwork before the doc examine you.
