I heard a lot about this hospital, but I think the service is average. But it is true that many good and experienced doctors do chambers here. But there is also a flip side to the coin of this hospital. A few days ago, after the death of a patient and her neonates under the care of Dr. Songjukta Saha, various irregularities and sufferings of the hospital have come to the fore. And many are opening up their suffering experience about this. Therefore, we all have to be more conscious about the treatment of the family and decide the hospital and doctor.
Finally, it is very costly, beyond the capacity of average income people.

A galaxy of optimist with committed vision put their thinking-caps on to enter into the mystery as to why patients, even with minor complaints, even with minor complaints, prefer assessment and treatment abroad. A through and searched discussion over the matter led them to conceive the idea of establishing an ideal Health Service Complex – that shall be – By HIS GRACE – singled out as a center of excellence in the service of the needy and suffering humanity. Thus CENTRAL HOSPITAL LIMITED came into existence.
To their belief, Health is a basic right of all members in the society and recognition of this right is the obligation of the Authority and the health service providers.
OUR VISION AND MISSION
Ensure modern consultation and dependable investigation.
Ensure proper assessment and administer accountable treatment coupled with laudable and exemplary care and services.
Ensure sustainability of the Health services.
Provide required environment support.
Provide services at a reasonable price.
At the cross-roads of an embryonic transition of the country’s Health Care Services, Government has meanwhile introduced Health Policy’98 with a view to addressing the need for health Care services for all segments of the population regardless of cast and creed.
Central Hospital Limited is also aiming at comprehensive Medicare Services through its humble efforts complimenting the policy priority of the Government.
The Central Hospital made rooms for highly skilled professionals with their variable experiences and specialization in respective areas. The company was incorporated in 1991. Bangladesh Shilpa bank, amongst other, has made an investment of sizeable amount as long term loan in this venture.
The complex is located at a point where Dhanmondi Road # 5 meets the Green Road. This has got all the prospects of an ideal Health Centre. Having foundation structure for 12 storied building on their own land, the complex has been built up to 6-Storey at the moment. Each floor covering approximately 10,500 square feet offers a hygienic and spacious area. Whole complex has been well furnished with imported medical Equipment, Instruments & Medical grade beds.
The striking feature of the complex is its Corporate set-up with a unique conglomeration of professional skills supported by sound financial standings.
Appropriate Health care service

Service, Doctors are very qualified and experienced. Stuffs are also very well mannered. Floors are neat and clean, have big space. But from outlook to inside its really beautiful, design is also so excellent.
We have come here for second time with same problem, Gallbladder stone and Harnia.
Its a very good hospital for new born babies. Facilities for babies, support and services are best to treat from here. Worth to every penny. I highly recommend this hospital and doctors

Welcome to PMCH - Parkview Medical College & Hospital
Bangladesh is rapidly becoming a role model for different aspect of health care development among developing countries. It is not possible for a government alone to develop health manpower to cater the increasingly complex, diverse and expensive public health care needs of a developing country like Bangladesh. In addition to Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges in Bangladesh are performing very significant role in producing skilled medical health professionals and providing specialized health care facilities at reasonable cost to ailing people of the country. To develop a new Medical College, location is a significant factor.

Shame and shame on this place, where you are greeted by disgruntled receptionists who probably didn't understand what it means to be helpful and nice when you greet patients and their attendants who come to undergo one or another medical procedure, simple or complex, it doesn't matter - you can't contact or talk to them, make eye contact , and even when you turn and ask, God forbid, more than one question, you are met with disdain, lack of interest, eye rolls, and today, from my experience, it came to her raising her voice, of course. Those who can avoid or ask for another private hospital are welcome. Not getting there, a terrible experience that left me traumatized. It will not pass in silence or on the agenda, I will reach those who need to reach.

Amazing medical center! I had an operation there and was hospitalized for 24 hours after the operation.
During my hospitalization I received treatment, information, personal treatment at the highest level!
Good food, television, toilets and super comfortable beds in every room!
The lobby is designed and pleasant to be there, art depends on the editor of all the rooms and the common area.
There is a cafe at the entrance.
What's more, they don't have parking.
With me I will definitely come back here!

I lived most of my life suffering from pain and discomfort that kept getting worse. I was diagnosed with endometriosis 2 month ago and underwent a surgery with Dr Gul Rana. From the initial consultation to the surgery and follow-up care, the entire process was smooth. She made me feel comfortable every step of the way. The surgical procedure was success, I walked out with a set date for laparoscopic surgery. After 7 days of my surgery, I walk out of her clinic but this time pain-free, healthier and feel more confident. Thank you, Dr. Gul e Rana and her assistant Ms Manju for being so so nice and helpful. Thank you once again for your exceptional care and I immensely more grateful for the care I received from CSH staff and Specially nurses. I highly recommend Dr. Gul e Rana to anyone seeking top-notch gynecological care. If I had the option, I would give Dr. Gul e Rana a perfect 10-star rating! Her compassion, understanding, calm demeanor, and genuine care for her patients are truly remarkable. Her extensive knowledge allows her to explain complex matters in a way that anyone can easily grasp. She is the best...❤️❤️❤️

Instead of retaining customers, they seem to be pushing them away. I suggest implementing more engaging scheduling options to keep patients interested.

Thank you so much Dr Sarah Alam Endocrinologist for the difference you make in the lives of your patients. Your kindness, sincere caring, and concern make everything better and are a great encouragement.
I am a diabetic since 2018 and visited many doctors. They just prescribed medicines and I couldn’t control my sugar level at all. I wanted to give a try at the Canadian Hospital and I went there in August. When I visited Dr Sarah Alam Endocrinologist my Hba1c level was at 9.9 and yesterday after the test it was down at 6. Such a vast improvement. Dr Sarah’s aim was to control my sugar level. She is so skilled at what she does. I had a lot of health complications when I went to her and now I feel a lot better in every aspect. I never thought I could get better, but she put me on the right medications and gave me the proper treatment. She is keen to know about everything that affects the patient, and treats even the slightest problem they have. Also, she respects your phone calls and messages and replies timely. She calls personally to check up on you. I had the best experience with her, I recommend her to all diabetics who are with uncontrolled sugar levels and others who need to visit an endocrinologist. She’s the best in Dubai. She’s a remarkable doctor and a professional I can trust.

Direct went into Cardiolgy Unit, reception was friendly. Dr Lam, as before very patience to explain in details for the things I need to know. Done my Stress Test (level 6 in 17 mins) and Echo. Report is very good, according to Dr Lam and need to go back only after 2 years :) . The chief nurse (I guess, based on the color of the uniform), did not ask for her name, is very efficient and friendly to handle the reception area. Thank you Dr Lam and the nurses.

Thank you so very much. I am so pleased with the outcome of my surgery. I am so grateful to you! Thanks also to all your wonderful staff members for their patience with all my questions and support for all my fears. Although it has only been three weeks ago today from the time of my surgery I wanted to let you know how very, very pleased I am with the results of the surgery. I already feel so much better about myself. I also felt the need to let you know how much I did appreciate your patience and the kindness you showed me. Thanks my dear doctor.

Waiting time for the insurance is very long, response from doctor to insurance is too slow, very poor management, you have to wait very long time to get response from the team, I experienced this at Diabetic centre. Similarly experience I faced in the past while my daughter was admitted in August as she is type 1 diabetic, hospital Insurance team is not responsive, they need to update their system fast, as I my insurance send me screen shot on approvals time, still nurses make us wait as they are waiting for response from in-house insurance team. I would like to address CEO of the Hospital, please do something to bring the same quality as it was before as this was one of the best hospital & now in my eyes it is worst with poor service, poor management

Excellent experience, as always.
Dr. Hanaa was so thorough & detailed - very professional.
The first patient contact at reception, Jasmin - amazingly welcoming & courteous…the sweet smile says it all. Regina, the nurse on duty - very supportive and helpful. Extremely prompt & quick in doing her tasks.
Indeed, one of the best, truly a ‘Center of Excellence’ in AHD - Diabetes Clinic 👍👍👍

I recently delivered my baby boy at Kings College Dubai Hills. I had a memorable and an amazing experience and felt so at home. My husband and I were so humbled and couldn’t have asked for more private care. All the staff and nurses were excellent and I was in good hands. However, Leanne my midwife was exceptionally helpful and was like a second Mum to me. She went above and beyond all the time to make sure I was ok. She assisted me with everything I had to learn and know as a new Mum and always made me feel at ease. She is always so hardworking, professional and passionate about what she does. I’ve never met someone who loves what they do so much! Leanne has provided so much care post my delivery as well and she has become a very close friend of mine. I can confidently recommend Leanne as she deserves it. I am convinced that having her as a member of staff will be a valuable asset.

I delivered my baby with King's in July 2022. I highly recommend the hospital and stuff working there, everyone was very supportive and kind.
I am sincerely grateful to Dr. Esra for my delivery.
On a separate note, I sincerely want to thank Mary Grace for her kind support. As a first time mother, even whilst I was attending Antenatal classes, I lacked practical experience of how to take care of baby. Mary Grace was very attentive and showed us how to bath and change the baby, explaining many interesting life hacks. Her support and explanation how to breastfeed the baby was indispensable, without her I would not be that lucky to establish breastfeeding which I continue to date.

TERRIBLY SLOW!! 1 hour in a queue for payment and medicine collection. I’ve been using this hospital for several years and the service is significantly getting worse.
There’s no SMS or any notifications to let you know when your queue is coming up, so you have no choice but to wait patiently in the waiting area. Staffs were nice and friendly but there must be something totally wrong with the system or process. Please take this as a feedback to improve your service.

The worst hospital ever. Staff is great but the organization is all about profit. We could’ve been discharged by 11AM. We followed up multiple times. We had to wait til 5PM for someone to show up and check on the patient. Billing said we had to wait til 7PM to pay so they can account for the “necessary” charges. They want to keep you here, I’m telling you. Obviously, the longer you stay, the more you need to pay.

I had a positive experience at this hospital. The guards, nurses, and staff were all very accommodating, and I felt well taken care of. The ER Doctor was particularly impressive, as they took the time to explain everything in detail.
However, there were some drawbacks. The ER bed areas were a bit small, with only one chair, no table, and limited space to walk around. This made the waiting area less comfortable than I would have liked.
Nevertheless, it was still a good experience.

Today, I went to visit this hospital because I had - bad sore throat. I went to another hospital first, but the wait is too long.
Nurses: Here some nurses are nice, but some nurses have bad attitude, especially the way they talk at Eye/eye/nose/throat station. I told them that I checked covid earlier, and they tried to scared me away with 200 baht extra cost for covid test first. I was so sick that I would not want to deal with them.
Doctor: The doctor I met today doesn’t seem to be well-educated or not attention to detail. Normally, I would get tested to find my symptoms is from virus or bacteria before prescribing antibiotics. I don’t want to take too many antibiotics because it is bad for my health in the long run. Also, my body has some red dots on my skin. I told the doctor that. I thought I would get skin medicine, but he seems to forget it or just prescribes me an allergy medicine to take which I’m not sure it is for my running nose or skin allergy.
Price: The bill is not clear of how much each medicine costs. There are only 3 medicines. The cost was over 3,000 baht. 2,000 baht for the medicine which seems to be over-priced.
I would not recommend this hospital if you are coming here.

2 day stay for cancer surgery. After being assisted to my room prior to surgery their procedures just don't make since.
When they tried to insert the IV before a shower and before changing into hospital clothes I directed the nurse to come back just prior to me going to the OR.
5 hours before surgery take a shower and change. 1 hour before surgery nurse shaves and directs another shower. Put on a different set of clothes. Ask for IV Team to come back. IV inserted the told to change clothes again.
Poor planning and communication.
New staff comes on shift and everything went smoothly and logically.
OR Staff were Excellent.
Sr Anesthesia was Extremely Professional really like him.
Recovery Room Staff Excellent.
Back in the room and the again were Super.
The 1 draw back was initially they couldn't understand that a Farang's pain wasn't alleviated by a single Tylenol. I did get the pain meds I needed though.
Concerning the food, it is actually very good.
All in All I'm happy I came here.

The room is new, clean, with warm decorated design, very secure (with key card access to each unit), a small digital safe in the closet. The toilet's kits are good quality. The food is also delicious. I will definitely recommend Samitivej Hospital especially WARD 4A to my family and friends.

Very nice welcome. All medical teams are nice and professional. Bedrooms really comfortable, very clean and could welcome the wife or husband of the patient. The food is good. They do all the best! 👍 Special thanks to Dr Aekachai, orthopedic Surgeon! As well as his team👏🙏

WARD 4A Thank you for providing the best care of me during my stay (recovery period) at your hospital. You have provided me a very impressive and professional medical care, hospitality with premium (VVIP) services experience. The room is new, clean, with warm decorated design, very secure (with key card access to each unit), a small digital safe in the closet. The toilet's kits are good quality. The food is also delicious. I will definitely recommend Samitivej Hospital especially WARD 4A to my family and friends.
Special appreciation to Doctor Santi, Doctor Panont, Doctor May, their nursing teams and all staff for their professional medical care and friendliness which made me feel worry free.
Warmest Regards,
Dr. Joyce

Excellent quality hospital. I had stayed here for taking medical treatments for 4 nights. It is not like hospital but 5 stars hotel. Here is very clean, all staffs have nice hospitality. My Doctor gives very clear information about process and step of treatment so I can plan my days, take strictly on her medical suggestion to recover soonest. Nurses on ward 5R I stay very helpful and have very good service mind. Maids is very hard working to make the room tiny and you feel like stay in 5 stars hotel. I don’t feel I stay in hospital except during my fever time keeps telling me that “ Hey guy, you are in hospital “ Excellent !!

Its like a 5 star hotel but Unfortunately, especially pediatric department pediatricians and nurses require further training to comprehend patient psychology. After all, patients pay significant amounts of money for their services.

English Speakers: Don’t go to this hospital. Our pregnancy doctor, Kannika Chokram, is extremely rude. Dr. Kannika’s English proficiency seems quite low and/or is rude because she will not answer questions when asked directly in English. Our doctor hung up on me when I repeatedly asked her to explain in English what she just said in Thai; she decided to hang up the phone.
During our appointment, the nurse in the room tapped her watch to notify Dr. Kannika of the time and how long we were taking with our questions.
It’s disappointing because I feel like if it were Dr. Kannika’s own children, she would be behaving differently. Basically Dr. Kannika comes off as not caring about her patients and wants to just check out and “chow chum yen chum” (i.e., do the bare minimum).

If you a foreigner, please avoid this scammer hospital. They will charge for you 3-4 times more than local. I did dressing for the wound and got bandages and charged for 1500 bhat. I paid around 3000 bhat but for bandage and dressing only was 1500 bhat.
I can’t believe how this big hospital do this kind of scammers. Who made this charge for patients? Doctor?
Remember! From your hospital scam, many foreigners will evaluated about whole Thailand. Memory will be forever about thailand.
See the further instead if only in front of yours.

Was given the option to do another test so I took it just to be sure. When I went to pay for my medication, I was told that test cost 3,000 baht. I probably should've asked if it cost more, but I also would've expected one of the doctors or nurses to tell me about the price beforehand. I never would've done the extra test if I was told about the price.

The only day I visited Bangkok, I decided to go see a doctor incase of an infection. The nurses were very professional and kind. But the doctor I consulted was extremely rude, took a picture of my wound and explain his doctor's lectures. He didn't even offer to clean my wound. Didn't even let me explain what caused it. Prescribed antibiotics which was 1900 baht, back in the country where I live, augmentin is half the price cheaper than this. I like the hospital. My family's been going here alot. But this particular doctor threw me off with big disappointment and experience.

Regular patient here. I’ve been to this hospital for several reasons; general med check and other diseases.
First of all, the nurses & hospital staff service was always top notch. I would say if you’re lucky, you’ll get the good doctors. My endocrinologist was the best, detailed explanation, helpful, and did not prescribe unnecessary meds (even suggested me to purchase meds from outside hospital for cheaper price).
During COVID 2021 I was also hospitalized here, I was very well taken care of by the nurses. I think the doctors also prescribed good meds as I got better fast (severe symptoms).
However one time I was hospitalized due to breathing issues, the ENT/lung doctor seem to prolong my stay with excuses that the blood test result has not come out even after 3 days, while eventually they let me out after some xray test only? Because of that I had to pay more than my insurance coverage.
Also I did general med check here twice. First doctor was super nice, she talked kindly and checked detail. However the second doctor was not really nice, explained briefly and seems like he wanted to just end the consultation soon lol.
Anyway, will continue the treatment here with my fave endocrinologist!

I had excellent care at this hospital and can’t recommend it enough! I went in for just a 6 month follow up appt and had sudden severe abdominal pain while there— ended up admitted and a CT scan showed a small bowel obstruction. By the evening I was in the ICU and had emergency surgery with 30cm of necrotic bowel removed. I spent 9 days in the hospital with excellent care in a private room. I am a former surgery scheduler and medical assistant in the USA, and the quality of care is the same if not better— no staff shortages here! All doctors and RNs speak English and even the nursing support staff attempt to speak some English—much better than my very limited Thai language skills. I am now over a month from discharge and healing well with no issues at all. Really happy with my care at Sukhumvit Hospital, they saved my life!
Prices were always given for tests and procedures beforehand, a little surprising coming from America, but always good to know. Compliments also to my Thai AIA health insurance policy that paid for all but $520usd of my inpatient hospitalization bill!
