Professional and good-service, very concerning place.. I have been an inpatient once and I admire the professionalism and urgent act of them about my concern.

The pill for an ill mentality was very prominent: Needed a recommendation letter to come her just to have a doctor see me for five minutes and then suggest, without any interest in testing, that I "just" take pills. Rather unfortunate, and likely the last time I'll go here.

Came in for an emergency as I broke my leg. They failed to administer any pain killers and insisted I keep moving around between different beds and wheelchairs.
The staff kept making jokes and laughing in Japanese, all while I’m in serious pain. The doctors were all young and inexperienced. And it was clear they didn’t want me in the hospital, as I, a foreigner, would be taking up a bed. It was about their convenience, not about treating me.
In my entire life, I have never experienced a worst doctor or worst treatment. Telling other doctors, Canadian and Japanese, of what transpired always results in shock. The surgeon at another Tokyo hospital was completely confused at how I didn’t get any care as I developed blisters from necrotizing skin (a major emergency).
The doctor at Tokyo University Hospital told other hospitals administrative staff what I had wasn’t an emergency and so I couldn’t see a doctor at other hospitals, even when I said I had increased pain and discomfort. I had to go to a clinic to get a new referral to actually get treated. Even the city help line, which originally told me to go to back to Tokyo University Hospital, changed their mind after speaking with the doctor.
This hospital and the sadistic doctor have literally permanently scared me. I was lucky to not lose a leg due to their complete and utter inhumane treatment.

Very good nurses and doctors. They provided me an interpreter when I consulted and had my surgery in this hospital last November 2021. I got cured, I had ovarian cyst. My doctor was good, I can speak with her in English. They're very accommodating so when I got pregnant I didn't hesitate to call and inquire in this hospital again but unfortunately, the one I speak on the phone said that if I want to have my prenatal check up and delivery in this hospital, I should BRING MY OWN interpreter if not they cannot accept us, me and my baby. I got shocked because the google says that this hospital can speak English and foreigner friendly and as far as I remember they've even provided me an interpreter back then. But sadly the department of OB-Gyne needs you to bring your own Interpreter if you want a prenatal checkup until your delivery, "that is our condition" the girl even says. and she even direct me onto the point that "you should prepare around 800,000 yen for your expenses" the point here is, it is not good to hear on the phone because I am not even asking about the cost here. We can negotiate this personally or when I asked about it. She even asked me about my husbands whereabouts. Yes of course we will pay hospital bills but yeah. I am not asking about the cost. I am asking if they can make a medical care for my baby. Sooo if you will inquire for a prenatal checkup and you cannot speak Japanese language... my review in this hospital is a no, no.
but no, no in prenatal checkups if you cannot speak Japanese....

i came here today because i got domestic violence
because i got beaten.
the staff been friendly and kind.
men who guiding me was extremely kind. nurse been very kind too.
the guiding people been extremely kind. x - ray person been extremely kind too.
but - i have extreme pain and i needed an evidence by document that decribes the issues and the pain for the police to report the domestic violence.
the doctor, didnt wanted to help me anything about providing a help in form of that.
instead i get charged 35 000 ¥ for x ray ( no insurance case ) and even didnt gave me any reciept pills against the pain in my bones.
im laying now in the bed, the pain get worser, i have no money left. and i feel worst.
its been hard enough to walk with a painfully bone beaten chest to the hospital, it took all my energy. paying this hughe amount after facing domestic violence. at least " giving me a paper with describing the injurnies " - every doctor do that - but he just said " printer doesnt work ? "
after that all hard happenings.
getting no support in form of a document to describe the injurny ( even its not broke ! doesnt mean im fine - there is an injurny.
in am lost. i wanted my money all back.
at least. so that i can buy medicine myself!-

I went for check-up here from the time I got pregnant until baby’s delivery.
It’s always a long queue. Patients have to wait for an hour or so before our priority number was called. I chose here because my obgyn said this hospital is an English speaking one. Only 2-3 staffs I met there can actually speak a LITTLE English. They provide only English documents if you need. Most likely you have to speak in Japanese so you can make your transaction peacefully.
When I delivered my baby that time, I had to stay 1 week in that hospital. I felt too much pressured there everyday during those stay because even I was still having pain and bleeding under, a lot of tasks I should do instead of relaxing in bed.
Nurses/ midwives asked me to feed my baby every 2-3 hours even midnight. And I have to change diapers which is understandable though. BUT that was from day 2 until my last stay there (for the whole 24 hours feeding schedule).
I didn’t have a proper rest. A lot of doctors and nurses come around everyday to check our condition (like EVERY HOUR someone is coming to tell us some things to do).
Then others also explain about nutrition, vaccination, taking care of baby, bathing a baby. Then after EVERY meal, someone comes again to make me take my vitamins, another one came after to take my blood pressure, etc. then taking my 500ml blood 3x that week. Then another person to explain about the hospital bills.
I can barely sleep and got so much frustrated about their treatment. My milk supply is also low that time so the nurses/midwives forced me to massage my breast which is so painful, and they made me do it EVERY TIME I feed my baby. It feels like they are pinching my nipples badly that I want to cry out. 🤦♀️
My baby is crying a lot most of the time too so I have to carry and comfort her. The nurses/ midwives asked me to sleep with my baby every night instead of putting the baby in the nursery room. I only put baby in the nursery room if I will take a shower or if there is a doctor asking to examine my health or explaining about nutrition, vaccine, etc.
So tell me how to sleep well? 🤷♀️
Lastly, they only focus on how to finish their tasks as nurses/ midwives but they forgot how to empathize in our situation as new mothers.

Overal experience was great + my surgery was very smooth (wisdom teeth removal)
I think the price is cheaper than other smaller uni hospitals.

About 10 years ago, I was about to lose consciousness due to arrhythmia, and as a result of an examination at another large general hospital, I was told that I needed to have a pacemaker inserted. We have had an examination using a catheter and determined that we do not need a pacemaker, and have given us guidance on improving our lifestyle habits. Catheter examinations used to be painful enough to scream even with anesthesia alone, but I didn't feel any pain here. Thank you.

I also posted on N, but the response after the hospital discharge was too bad, so I will make an additional review on another account.
Before I was discharged from the hospital, I was told to come to the doctor at 10:00 today, so when I was preparing to arrive before 10:00, I received a call from the hospital doctor at around 8:56 asking me to come at 9:00. bottom.
No matter how you think about it, I think you're crazy for saying something impossible.
Do you want me to teleport to you like in the manga?
I wonder if I can do the same thing.
Even if the time is suddenly changed, it will be a problem for me, so if I tell you about it at the time of the examination, I will send you a letter of introduction to another hospital, so how about going to another hospital? He said.
I feel very bad, so I will also write the teacher's name.
The name of the bad teacher is Mr. Kenta Masada.
I hope that there will be no victims who are the same as us and have a bad response.

I went to the obstetrics and gynecology department for childbirth.
I was looking for a hospital in Suita that offers painless delivery, and I thought, "Isn't it possible to use the national circulation system if you don't have a circulatory disease?" I was able to make a reservation for painless delivery without it.
There were many female doctors, and the male doctors were kind and polite.
Many of the nurses and midwives were very enthusiastic and kind, and I was able to spend my check-up, delivery, and hospital stay with peace of mind!
Perhaps because there are many staff and the latest equipment is in place, it was very comfortable to feel the peace of mind of the people working there.
I am so glad that I chose this place! It was a really good memory.
*The meals are quite different from the extravagant meals served at private hospitals lol

I have been taking care of my son since he was 2 months old.
I was introduced to another hospital in my hometown and went to the outpatient clinic for the first time, and by the time I went to the next outpatient clinic, my heart failure progressed and I couldn't drink much milk. I was hospitalized. I didn't know anything about the hospital because I was suddenly hospitalized, but the decisive difference from other hospitals is that it is a children's ward, such as a pediatrics department, and there is no hospitalization with a parent accompanying them.
I couldn't stay at a hotel, so I didn't know what to do.
The nurses are kind, friendly, and easy to ask questions and open up about their worries.
Even from my point of view as a woman, there were many people who were clean and beautiful and cute.
My son was in the NICU, GCU and PICU.
The doctors are kind, especially Dr. I, the doctor in charge, who has a gentle tone, is easy to ask questions, and is polite.
Everyone is very kind, so I can go to the hospital with peace of mind.
However, one thing that bothered me was that there was a noticeable difference in what the nurses were saying, and what the clerks and the doctors and nurses were saying.
I think it would be perfect without it!

I was transferred from another hospital for an emergency caesarean section and was hospitalized.
The nurses and doctors in the hospital were normal, neither good nor bad.
However, the discharge day is absolute and you will be discharged in the morning.
I insisted that my family couldn't come until the afternoon, but I was discharged from the hospital in the morning and killed time at Tully's until my family came.
What was terrible was the doctor who was in charge of the one-month checkup.
When I told him that he occasionally bleeds from his caesarean wound,
Ah, this is just a pimple-like scar, and there is no problem with the scar, and even if you don't put protective tape on it, it will just become a keloid, so it might be better not to put tape on it...
Later, I was calmly told that the baby was saved this time and that I should think about pregnancy. Not all doctors are terrible, but there are many young doctors outpatient, and this person was the worst. I'm glad this person wasn't my doctor in the hospital.
On the contrary, the pediatrics teacher in charge of babies was a warm and very good teacher.
What I don't understand is the reservation fee, and if the examination starts within 15 minutes from the reservation time, 550 yen will be charged.
To be honest, if you make a reservation yourself, it may be unavoidable that it will be taken, but what is it like to take money even for what you have reserved when the doctor says to come?

Thank you for your help in plastic surgery and hospitalization.
I was confused because it was my first time to be hospitalized, but the nurses and other staff were very helpful and I was very grateful.
I could see the sea from the hospital room, and it became a way to kill time.

For the past 20 years or so, I have been indebted to Kuranaka, partly because of my father's illness. There was no specialized department at the hospital in Onomichi, so I was introduced. First it was malignant lymphoma, then leukemia. Both are hematologists. My father has passed away now, but that section really helped me. Thanks to that, I also became familiar with a particular disease.
There are also a wide variety of convenience stores, Doutor Coffee, and shops where you can eat inside the hospital. However, I think that it is better to confirm because the business hours are different for each.
Also, I think there was a pharmacy, vending machine, library, computer, cash corner, coin laundry, haircut, and shower, but I think it's better to check.

This was my first time visiting for work.
I was surprised by the size of the building.
It was a modern facility that was used in actual clinical practice from something that felt history.
Buses are the only public transportation available from the nearest station, and it is highly likely that you will arrive later than expected during the morning commuting hours, so it may be better to use a taxi.

There are many outpatients, so the waiting time is long. It often takes more than an hour to see a doctor after an appointment, and if the checkout is busy, you may have to wait 20 to 30 minutes.
I was hospitalized, but the toilet, washbasin, shower, etc. were clean and beautiful. The hospital food was even better than I imagined. There were many vegetables and fish dishes that were knackered. The healthy food with less salt! ! It's amazing that it's not bad even though it's a menu that feels like it.
In the morning, paper cartons of milk are served every day, but when I consulted that I was getting tired of it, Joy changed it for me!
The teacher in charge is very good. He listens to what I have to say and is empathetic and thinks with me. There were a lot of things, but I'm glad I was able to reach this central hospital.
(Background... Several doctors at another general hospital I went to at the beginning were rude, had bad attitudes, tried to settle for unknown reasons, didn't do tests, didn't feel like they were listening to me, etc. I was dissatisfied with miscellaneous things, etc., so I visited three hospitals as a sec-op, and finally got a letter of introduction from the central hospital.)
I feel that many of the nurses, laboratory technicians, clerks, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists are very kind, warm, and considerate.
In particular, the physiotherapist who is in the hospital is so kind and gentle that I enjoy talking with him.
Just a small part! A nurse who speaks strongly to patients and colleagues, and a nurse who is clearly irritated. Also, I don't want to see him create a disturbing atmosphere, so please do it behind the scenes.

I have been receiving treatment at this hospital since I came to Kyoto. It's a big university hospital, and some people are kind to doctors, and some people don't understand much, but overall they're very conscientious.
His condition is stable now. I have regained my normal daily life.
However, the waiting time for accounting and inspection is long.
