Until now, I had only seen average hospitals in rural areas, but the medical technology here is amazing. His uncle is now able to walk along the Sumida River embankment, even though he became ill and was given time to live. As my friend said, it's a wonderful hospital that doesn't waste its know-how or vision.

Terrible hospital. I had an appointement with the Immunology department, because I may have an immune disease. On the day of the appointement, the Immunology department cancelled our appointement and referred me to their Dermatologist, who couldn't help me either. I was told that the Immunology department, who specializes in IMMUNE DESEASES, didn't know what my immune disease was. Imagine not knowing what you work with everyday. The Immunology department is just a massive bunch of incompetent people. They probably slept during their studies, just like the rest of University graduates in Japan.

Came in for an emergency as I broke my leg. They failed to administer any pain killers and insisted I keep moving around between different beds and wheelchairs. The staff kept making jokes and laughing in Japanese, all while I’m in serious pain. The doctors were all young and inexperienced. And it was clear they didn’t want me in the hospital, as I, a foreigner, would be taking up a bed. It was about their convenience, not about treating me. In my entire life, I have never experienced a worst doctor or worst treatment. Telling other doctors, Canadian and Japanese, of what transpired always results in shock. The surgeon at another Tokyo hospital was completely confused at how I didn’t get any care as I developed blisters from necrotizing skin (a major emergency). The doctor at Tokyo University Hospital told other hospitals administrative staff what I had wasn’t an emergency and so I couldn’t see a doctor at other hospitals, even when I said I had increased pain and discomfort. I had to go to a clinic to get a new referral to actually get treated. Even the city help line, which originally told me to go to back to Tokyo University Hospital, changed their mind after speaking with the doctor. This hospital and the sadistic doctor have literally permanently scared me. I was lucky to not lose a leg due to their complete and utter inhumane treatment.

I don't quite understand. Keio University Hospital is a well known hospital BUT no one seems to speak even a very basic english. They all have japanese and english signs all over the hospital but no one knows how to speak it. I mean they don't have japanese only patients, but for me it feels like they only admit japanese because once you try to communicate with them, they mostly just say "no english" and then they leave you alone even if you have a serious health problem. I know expats should learn japanese but what about tourist or guests that only spends a week or two in japan? I come from Germany and we also have expats and foreigners there that hardly speaks any german BUT they don't get turned away by the hospital, because that is ILLEGAL and against the doctor's and healthcare workers OATH (do no harm!). WHAT IS WRONG JAPAN? you make A LOT of advertisement about OMOTENASHI and then you treat non japanese speakers as if they're not worth treating. And this is not the only hospital in Tokyo that do this. DO BETTER!!!

Excellent doctors and staff. I've had two surgeries at this hospital and both have gone very well. I recommend this hospital but if I understand their processes correctly, one needs a referral to go there. They are centrally located, and are right in front of the Shinanomachi station. There's another station close by on the Oedo Line. They have new facilities and parking. They also have motorcycle parking. This is one of the best hospitals in Tokyo in my opinion, but English is not spoken here. If you have a need for a special surgery involving a doctor from another hospital, then you may experience difficulty in having that arranged. I had to forego surgery on my heart there because they did not have a doctor on staff to do what I needed done immediately after the heart surgery. It was breast bone surgery. I had to have the heart surgery and the breast bone work done elsewhere, but the surgeries needed to be done back-to-back. Keio could not do it, which I believe is rare for them. I wish they could have facilitated it. It's a great hospital otherwise.

I went there because my period haven’t stopped in six months. I went there for a biopsy which made the bleeding increase for more than days, accompanied with terrible cramps. I returned urgently there and was treated really poorly by the interns who told me “they couldn’t do anything”that my cramps had probably nothing to do with my uterus ( but i had told them it was the same pain as period pain), and that i should just get painkillers. I really wonder in what world someone can say that is normal to have periods for six months, and bleed for more than ten days after a biopsy. I am deeply disappointed in this lack of professionalism and compassion.

Will never ever come to this hospital. Arrived at the hospital today with my baby having high fever. They told me there is no doctor and to call the ambulance. Called the ambulance and end up the ambulance referred us to the doctor in this hospital. Ambulance took baby temperature and blood pressure. We went into the emergency room and did a Covid test for baby. Very tough towards baby, swab baby nose till bleed and told us it’s normal. No doctor came to see us at all. Just a nurse came to speak to us and told us to monitor baby. Nurse didn’t even do a check up for our baby ended up paying $400 USD for consultation and emergency room! No check up done on baby and no medication given. I guess they don’t like doing foreigner business. Disappointed in Japan healthcare. Baby is still running a 39 degree high fever and we were told to pay and leave. Ridiculous

Literally the worst hospital i have ever visited. I waited for 4 hours straight and when I asked how long I needed to wait, the doctors just simply said she has no idea, and just change a hospital if you don’t have time. So cold. I think anyone who went there as foreigners could understand what I am talking about. Honestly, i don’t even wanna give one star.

I'm here as an inpatient. Everyone is pretty nice and they have pretty much everything you would need. Don't feel afraid to come here. My teacher also said he comes here regularly for checkups and that he likes it and it has a good reputation.

Very friendly staffs and dentist! Most importantly they are quick and using precise new equipments too! Definitely gonna be a loyal customer here =)

They are amazing! I used to be afraid of going to the dentist, but they have made me feel so comfortable and everyone is so kind! I've had fillings, and two wisdom tooth extractions from different dentists, but they've all been great and fairly painless. I really appreciate them!

I didnt actually visit this dentist, but they were very accommodating in their email correspondence. I look forward to the time when I need to go there. I will modify or change my review when I actually go there.

Best dental clinic in Tokyo, bar none. The staff took careful yet quick and decisive action on a painful tooth problem which was seriously affecting my quality of life. Conscientious and trustworthy advice given always. This explains why they are fully booked oftentimes, and yet they will flexibly adjust in case of an emergency. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The dentist and staff all speak English, the doctor's was native. Easy access from Chiyoda line exit number 5, and is in the basement of the popular Laforet building, but the entrance is from the outside on the side of the building. I had a cleaning done and my teeth checked. I had one sensitive tooth, but it had been getting better, and no unneeded treatment was suggested, so this is an honest dental office. When I was there, almost all of the patients were westerners, so this is the place to go! The reviews speak the truth!

Likely the best dental experience I've ever had. Kind English-speaking staff, modern setting, doctor explained everything on a screen, did X-rays. The hygienist was thorough and very kind. Great price with insurance. If you are a foreigner in Tokyo, coming here is a must.

Coming from a health sector myself, I'm very impressed with the professionalism (with clear explanation of the cost and treatment) and friendliness of the entire team. I had a severe tooth ache for a few days during my first trip to Japan. I managed to get part of a root canal treatment from Dr Ryuichi Shiroshita and his team. My family and I are really grateful. The clinic is easily accessible, well equipped and clean. I highly recommend this clinic to the locals and visitors!

Reviewing this place as a regular patient, I've been receiving care for almost a year now. They are very rigorous with dental care and perhaps it has been even better than in my home country in Germany. With health insurance, the cost of medical care here has been very affordable. Staff can speak English and some of the dentists too. For my regular sessions basic Japanese has been sufficient.

The level of nurses is high compared to other hospitals! I think this is a trustworthy hospital because the doctors explain everything in an easy-to-understand manner. After paying the bill, I realized that my change was a pin note every time! I don't want to have to take care of you again, but if I do, I think this hospital is the best!

My elderly mother, who is 86 years old, underwent surgery to replace an artificial valve. The reason why I went to a different hospital than the first time was because I judged her to be at high risk due to her age. I was looking for a heart specialty hospital that performs many surgeries and ended up here. It was a little far away, but people came from Shimane and Tottori prefectures, so it was still close. The surgery was a great success. However, there were some difficult times due to complications, but now, almost half a year later, I am doing very well. The reception desk is efficient, and although the doctor's office is quite busy, the examination and payment process are smooth. Everyone is relatively kind, and I feel that the hospital is well-trained to handle the situation properly. The surgeon was also wonderful.

About a year ago, I underwent heart valve replacement surgery.The doctor gave thorough explanations and the nurses, even though they were all young, treated me with great care. Even patients who complained due to stress were treated with sincerity. When I was in the ICU, the assistant doctor had to take me to the bathroom every hour in the middle of the night because of the diuretics I was in. When I apologized, she said with a smile, "Don't worry about it, it's fine!" I was able to spend my time with peace of mind. I am very glad that I had the surgery at this hospital. Even though the food is low in salt, there are about 3 side dishes, so I think it's satisfying.

Three years ago, I had a blood vessel transplant and catheter surgery for coronary artery stenosis and angina pectoris here, and since then I've been going to the hospital regularly.It's a clean hospital, I feel comfortable, and it's conveniently located near JR Kishibe Station, which is helpful.

Thank you for taking care of me for about 2 months due to knee surgery. I waited about a year and a half for the surgery to be performed by Dr. K. Fuji, an excellent doctor. Ever since he was broadcast on TV Tokyo's Cambria Palace, he has become a famous doctor among knee patients and is known for his very careful surgeries. I am very satisfied with the results. This hospital also seems to be famous for its rehabilitation department, and I received encouragement both physically and mentally. In particular, Mr. Yada, who works in the rehabilitation room of a general hospital, is very good at the treatment, and there were complimentary comments on Ameblo.

In mid-May of last year, I was admitted to the hospital for a complete removal of breast cancer by a breast surgeon, and I received great care. Although I live in the prefecture, I initially planned to have the surgery performed at a nearby university hospital. but… I couldn't find the doctor in charge, and while I was researching various surgical methods, I realized that the breast surgery at Kameda Hospital was an endoscopic surgery, and most of all, when I asked for a second opinion, the cancer consultation center I decided to have the surgery at this hospital because of the personality of Dr. Fukuma, the nurse in charge of breast surgery and the chief breast surgeon. I am very grateful to Dr. Fukuma and other outpatient nurses at Kamogawa for their help. I had to see Dr. Fukuma several times because the surgery was far away, but even though he was tired from seeing dozens of patients a day from the beginning, he continued to talk to me late into the night in detail about the condition of the disease and the surgical procedure. Even when I was hospitalized, he came to my room until late at night. Thank you for treating me in such a friendly and calm manner when I was really anxious and scared. Even though I didn't know much about cancer, she taught me a lot of things, and even though I wasted a lot of time, the detailed explanations made me feel at ease. I made an unreasonable request to have the first surgery done early in the morning, but I was able to have the surgery done before the doctor's appointment, so I am truly grateful to the doctor. (lol) The reason I chose Kameda Hospital was not only because of the endoscopic surgery, but also because there were many different doctors there, and I was able to call and talk to the nurses several times before the surgery, which made me feel at ease. It was my first time being hospitalized after getting sick, but the food was delicious, and I was able to enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean, swallows, and surfers, which made me feel better after the surgery. In particular, there is a beauty salon in the women's ward, and I felt comfortable in the private rooms that required reservations. I would like to thank Dr. Fukuma, nurse Kawana-san, and Yoshida-san from the consultation center for their help. Cancer requires long treatment even after surgery, and for those who are considering treatment, there are Kameda Hospital in Kamogawa, Makuhari, and Kyobashi in Tokyo, so if you can commute, you may want to consider it...Also, before surgery In addition to MRI, there are excellent tests such as PET-CT. I am really glad that I had the surgery at this hospital. It seems that no one person has the same symptoms of breast cancer, so the surgical method and post-operative treatment will vary depending on the person, and the treatment will last several years, so please choose the hospital that suits you without regrets. I am currently undergoing post-surgical treatment and am indebted to Dr. Nashimoto, who also performed the same surgery on me. Very nice hospital with top surgeons and friendly nurses. The rooms are nice and some have a swell view of the ocean. There are busses that run from the hospital to various places in Chiba and Tokyo.
